My buddy is still here arguing with security, the nurses and the docs. Think he is probably going to be committed.
Dinner was great. Had Arby's but really wanted a calzone. Tomorrow is another day. :)
Sissy just left to go to the room, lucky dog. I am still in the hallway on a gurney in the ER. Still not sure if they even have a room to put me in upstairs so more will be revealed!
I did come over with you birders! I didn't fly away
BUT
I guess in a few I am going to watch Criminal Minds! I really wanted to be a Sleuth when I grew up! Funny though - I can usually figure out the endings on these mystery shows!
Hedgie I know I very much appreciate your input, it was the first info I had seen. Ya know ya kind of read up and backwards when you are looking for info.
Your time to post meant a lot to me and when I got up further after supper and saw Mits info too I had all the pieces
Sharon is off line, they must be putting her upstairs. I am amazed at that. They told us today that there were people waiting in the ER for 4 days waiting on a room!! God is surely on our side today (and everyday!!)
Yep, I am in my room. I have a hospital bed and not a gurney, a nice TV, phone, bathroom and my laptop. It don't get any better than this. They are going to start me on Zosyn and vancomycin IV antibiotics so hopefully that will knock this for a loop. I have to tell you all, I feel so loved on here. What encouragement. Love you all!
Sharon Belle was stirring a little and blinking her eyes about the time you posted your room news, guess she was listening, or has Eagle ESP - now she is resting again...head all tucked in...so you can too! ☺
I don't think I can get that many, but I bet I can get one there before the luncheon, then everyone that is going can see it. I'll know tomorrow how many copies I can have.
Well, my room mate has a bed alarm, she got up, they all came running and she fell anyway. They are over here trying to help her up. Loud alarm too but I think she is okay. Woke up all the nurses for sure.
I am waiting now for them to come and change my IV. It is in the bend of my arm and not very convenient. Then they are going to change the packing in my belly so it will be a little while before I get to settle in.
Spent my evening relaxing and watching TV. Anyone else watching American Idol this season? The three that was chosen were my favs.
Those Bluefield Girls sure do have a time, don't they? Love and Hugs to both of them:)
Deb, I like Jo's idea about scanning your mag photos. My 'puter scans a photo and shoots it right over to Picasa and then I send it to my blog. A really easy set-up. You can also use your camera to photograph the photos, then put them on here. That is how I got Margy's Open House photos posted.
Sharon - I pray you have peaceful sleep & pleasant dreams Was so good for you and Sissy to have had those lap tops. It sure saved all of us a lot of worry! loLove ♥ ♥ ♥
Forgot! Wanda, yes, I watch AI. My favorite was Danny. So glad Tatiana did not get on. Could not take much more of that young lady. She needs to grow up.
Just had my first packing change and that was not a pretty sight. The redness looks a lot better now though. Today has been a really good day after all!
Good night and sweet eagle dreams, my friends of fine feathers and fur.
PS - I have already shown 2 nurses our lovely Belle in the nest. They were fascinated by it, of course - DUH - it is our Belle!
Good Night Sharon! Catch up with you in the morning. Yes - it seems to have ended well!
Good Night All It has been a very exciting day if I must say so.. You realize how many nest this year have 3 eggs! Boy are we going to be busy nestors! Prayers for our needs and Prayers of Thankfulness being said. ((((hugs)))) ♥ ♥ ♥
Okay, Sharon, settle down now and try to get some rest. HUGS and prayers and lots of love coming your way! Agree about AI....so glad that snip Tatiana is gine....just wish they hadn't focused on her immature scene while Danny was singing. Like why give her the attention? Thet were my 3 favs, too. Good night to all. Hope tomorrow is a calmer day, cause I won't be around much to keep track of what's happening!
Good morning everyone. Doctors started arriving here at around 4 a.m. Not sure how many teams I have seen since then but they did change my packing once in the process. Wish they would come in when a person was more awake and it would be easier to remember what they said. Anyway, I think I get to go home tomorrow. They are waiting on the culture results to make sure I get the right antibiotics. The red is not near as bright this morning. YEAH!!
Maine has snow covered lens..with more snow coming.
Cam two doesn't sound like it has been working right. Hummmm wonder if any other cams have acted that way before lol...sorry just had to add that for them here.
Thankful for ours up and working and Steve and John and crew are working to make it better.
IV antibotics work better than pills or liquid one. IV gets right into blood stream.....nerds! Why not another day on IV antibotics??? Well the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing there.. GOD DOES AND HE KNOWS HE NEEDS TO PROTECT AND HEAL SHARON AND HE WILL!

I have not been down there since Sept....hopefully on hubbys' next week long trip, I can head down for a few days, got to start getting ready for summer:)
Later this morning I'm going to my second Computer Graphics class. Habving fun. Tomorrow will not be a fun day. Have stress test scheduled. I'll be at the Heart Center in Huntsville most if not all of the morning.
Good morning. Yep, snow showers here, too. I want to live at the beach, too! That was always my retirement dream, before my dream got derailed. Oh well, if I live, maybe someday. Sharon, hopefully with the home health arrangement, they will send you homw with IV in place. That way, h/h nurse can just run the infusion daily. It will take at least 48-72 hrs. to culture out for a definitive answer as to most effective med. TRY to get some good rest today before you make the trek home, girlfriend!!
Hedgie our minds were thinking along the same lines of leaving the IV in....darn people. Two to three days on that and we'd have Sharon back in good health!!! Those idiots...like I said can ONLY BE IN GODS HANDS NOW AND HE CAN DO IT!!!
Thanks Deb so strange seeing the RTH like this. Always when sitting in a tree looks so much bigger and I know he is.
I guess the weather is coming over the mountain into the valley - My weather alert is when I see the brilliant red cardinal down in the bush at the end of the yard.
I am waiting for Aaron to pop in my kitchen door. He & hubby have computer things to do. I'll be leaving for lunch with the past work crew - catch up on things and let them catch up on me!
well they put her on the orals, because they are going to send her home, I was hoping for one more day on IV's, meds are starting to make her nauseous.
Any word on Norma today? Sure will be glad when this week is over. Norma sick, Sharon's travails, nursing home fire with wonderful outcomes. Beloved old vet and fellow-church member passed, former sheriff and acquaintance passed suddenly this morning, two retirees passed this week, and found out that another one's cancer that was in remission has metasticized. So much sadness for so many.
Dana, eastern RTHA have different characteristics than western. I don't know too much about them, since we don't have them. I would have to learn all over on the east coast.
Perm apptmt. at 1 today for me--a chance to catch up on post-stroke progress of another former sheriff who is hairdressers' daddy, and then spend a little time w/ Mr. Bill and then meeting my girls...go with them for their nail apptmt. and then we are eating dinner out in Shepherdstown. That will get my mind off the bad stuff.
Good morning Eagle World! Sunshiny, cool day here. Jack is continuing with the new fence, but taking off at noon to eat lunch with friends. I am cleaning house today with a break to get beautiful at the Beauty Shop. LOL Have company coming from Michigan Saturday. Cousin and wife who want to get away from snow and visit son in San Antonio.
Diet continues well. I am at around 12 pound loss now. Can already tell a difference in how the jeans fit! Wahoo!!
Hey! I think I will beg a ride with BRS. He is headed your way from my area. I could come to the lunch. :)
SHARON, I am with the others, wishing you were on the IV antibiotics a little longer. Hospitals just push folks out way too quick, but know you will be happy to get back home.
Yes, Wanda...it was Pres...sad, too, that he had just recently gotten married...bet it hasn't been six months ago. Didn't know he was a classmate. Know a lot of people had differences with him, but I never had any issues. And he sure has tried his best to help out seniors and disabled w/ the homestead excemption.

Deb, that is really cool. I was going to suggest sending a copy that we all could look at next week, but you beat me to it!
I'm sorry, but that cracked me up, Sharon....poor thing fell anyhow...bet it did wake them up
Sharon, I think you have had more than enough excitement for the day!
It does put a picture in your mind, doesn't it!!
I am waiting now for them to come and change my IV. It is in the bend of my arm and not very convenient. Then they are going to change the packing in my belly so it will be a little while before I get to settle in.

Leave it to Sher to get that roommate!!

aww Miss NBG finally has tucked her head into her wings.
Yea, Deb! That is really very exciting! Wah!!!! I want to go to the lunch and see the magazine, too.
Well, I am happy Ms NBG has tucked her head. A little while ago she was looking VERY alert. It had me worried.
Sharon and Sissy, so glad you took your laptops. Felt like we have been with you most of the day.
Sharon, love the UVA avatar. One would think you love that place!!
Hope your roomie isn't hurt...but it IS funny.
Margy, have a peaceful shift tonight.
I have been watching her, Lolly, thought she looked a little apprehensive too.
actually that is Sharon's' home in Bluefield:)
Going to take my bath...will check back in on YOU, Sharon gal, in a little while.
Me, too. I wish we were closer, Lolly.
Are they having problems finding you veins, Sharon? Sure has been a lot of poking and prodding lately.

Those Bluefield Girls sure do have a time, don't they? Love and Hugs to both of them:)

This is the best $348 I have ever spent - my laptop.
And Mits, you are exactly right, that is my home! :)
Roommate is already back to sleep so she must be alright. When I first saw her when I walked in the room, I thought she was dead!
I'll play with it again, Wanda, just haven't ever done it on this computer. I wouldn't think a Mac would be that different, I just need to learn how.
Ooh, I could maybe hook up my laptop and try that.
oh dear. gonna be a rocky night, maybe they gave her a sedative
Sharon - I pray you have peaceful sleep & pleasant dreams

you got the time, I've got the room, your daughter might like it too:)
Fly in our nest
Red...that was BEAUTIFUL...Thank you:)
One leaving now we'll have turning of 3 beutiful eggs ( :
My Good Morning is just in time to say that I think our 3 eggs are so so so
beautiful!
Well so much for our newspaper weather: we just got the blustery winds and snow showers. Look out Belle and Lib.
Yep at first refresh you can see our nest tree is blowing around. Then choppie.
BRS Is now in Hondo, Texas. Still moving but I caught a road sign and know where he is. He's about 45 miles from his pickup location.
Just a quick band of showers moving thru and wind so far is about 9 to 18 mph gusts.
Later this morning I'm going to my second Computer Graphics class. Habving fun. Tomorrow will not be a fun day. Have stress test scheduled. I'll be at the Heart Center in Huntsville most if not all of the morning.
Good morning, everyone. It is chilly this morning at 9 degrees, but the sun is shining brightly!
hope you pass your test, Red:)
The Red tailed Hawk is in the nest.
Cam at BWO stormy looking
Good morning. Yep, snow showers here, too.
I want to live at the beach, too! That was always my retirement dream, before my dream got derailed. Oh well, if I live, maybe someday.
Sharon, hopefully with the home health arrangement, they will send you homw with IV in place. That way, h/h nurse can just run the infusion daily. It will take at least 48-72 hrs. to culture out for a definitive answer as to most effective med. TRY to get some good rest today before you make the trek home, girlfriend!!
Yes, Red, I hope it goes well, too.
I am not sure what the RTHA has in the nest, it is all one piece and white. Maybe cloth of some sort.
Lynn, they have already removed her IV:(
sure is a beautiful red tail:), Deb
Red, is your stress test on the treadmill or chemical? Hope you do well!
Very pretty, she is on the railing now.
Egg roll-
Mits, that's a crock, for sure! I had always thought that UVA was a pretty decent place.....think I'll definitely stick w/ Georgetown!!
Rain passed by nest now...
I guess the weather is coming over the mountain into the valley - My weather alert is when I see the brilliant red
cardinal down in the bush at the end of the yard.
I am waiting for Aaron to pop in my kitchen door. He & hubby have computer things to do.
I'll be leaving for lunch with the past
work crew - catch up on things and let them catch up on me!
well they put her on the orals, because they are going to send her home, I was hoping for one more day on IV's, meds are starting to make her nauseous.
oh my, look at redtail in the sunlight
Deb is she fully grown red tail?
Deb. you might want to put up tiny url again, if people want to catch her, please.....
Looks like maybe one more little shower passing over nest, and now some more building up...still 39° here.
MATE JUST FLEW IN BOTH RTH THERE...one on railing just left....georgeous
Red-tailed Hawk Cam
Yes, I would say it is an adult, very red tail, just a light bellie band on the chest and it is nesting.
Some snow flakes on the nest
Aaron arrived & said from Shepherdstown he hit snow up on South Mt.
BBL this afternoon
Oh Yes - Safe Journey Home
Prayers are going with you
Deb is there anyway to tell the male from the female? You might have somewhere already answered this. If so I missed it.
Well other than seeing her lay the eggs lol
Any word on Norma today?
Sure will be glad when this week is over. Norma sick, Sharon's travails, nursing home fire with wonderful outcomes. Beloved old vet and fellow-church member passed, former sheriff and acquaintance passed suddenly this morning, two retirees passed this week, and found out that another one's cancer that was in remission has metasticized. So much sadness for so many.
Just like eagles the female is bigger. Typed that wrong the last time.
Heard a blip on news that NJ had their third (minor) earthquake tremor in three weeks yesterday....wierd!
i sure hope your week ends better than it has started, Lynn!
Good morning Eagle World! Sunshiny, cool day here. Jack is continuing with the new fence, but taking off at noon to eat lunch with friends. I am cleaning house today with a break to get beautiful at the Beauty Shop. LOL
Have company coming from Michigan Saturday.
Prayers Lynn that HE will carry your load helping you with the stress of it all.
Time for a bite of breakfast. Have a great day! BBL
Lynn, go an email that P. Gooden died last night. So sorry to hear that. He and I went to school together.
My goodness....looks like a blizzard here!
Temp is 39° and the wind is pretty gusty right now. I see the fluff fluttering in the nest.
SPLIT COMING UP...
Both Red-tails at the nest again.
beautiful sunset at Finland
missed them....
