No Jim again today. I sent him a note that he was missed on the blog.

Costume Lady said...

Deb, I also sent him an email and asked for him to let us know he was OK...nothing so far:(

Red said...

Maybe the IE bug got him.

deb said...

That's what I have been wondering, Red. I think Helen had the same thought, too.

Mits said...

I think there are Christmas lights behind the Norfolk nest

deb said...

EAGLE IN LAKE WASHINGTON!

deb said...

The cam angle is really pretty when the eagle has it's head up!

deb said...

I wish someone else was watching.

Mits said...

I see him, Deb.

deb said...

Yeah, it is a good view, isn't it!

Mits said...

I was off downloading the new windows security stuff, was tired of waiting for them to send it

Mits said...

I love the new view.

deb said...

Glad you checked in!

Mits said...

wonder what it is eating?

Mits said...

Remembered what Tom Otto had told you, it is around 4:15 p.m. there

Mits said...

they have prime waterfront property

deb said...

Yes, it is. I wish the other one would come in. It would be nice to get a size difference between them.

Mits said...

yes, this one looks pretty big, but without the other one there, hard to tell

deb said...

I do that at the river, think it must be a female, it is so big. Then along comes a bigger one!

OOH, I love it with the light on the eagle.

Mits said...

they did a great job

Mits said...

now on the branch

Mits said...

Mits said...

deb said...

Yes it will be fun to watch the eaglets from this angle, too.

Hi all! Have not been on all day. busy busy busy I did start to get on once and had a message half typed and the phone rang. Baked cinnamon rolls today and have made pumpkin rolls. I quit until I get back next week. Tomorrow I pack and get my hair done....gotta get beautiful!

Great pictures Deb!

It warmed up a little today, but was misty, foggy and plain ol dreary.

Lolly said...

Just made the rounds of all the cams. Saw where the first egg at Norfolk was late January. We are not far from that. Very exciting!

Mits said...

Lolly, have a wonderful time in NYC:)

Lolly said...

Thanks Mits! Just took a look at the 10 day forcast....I'm gonna freeze! LOL

paula eagleholic said...

Just came back from a benefit dinner at the Woodsboro Fire Company for John's Dad and another fireman that has cancer. They had chicken and ham slippery pot pie, fried chicken, green beans, coleslaw, rolls and cake. Wonderful, wonderful turnout. Son worked the dinner, then sat and had dinner with us. Then a call came in and off he went!

News on Mom - she might get released tomorrow, so will see what tomorrow brings.

paula eagleholic said...

Yes, it does look like XMas lights at Norfolk.

Mits said...

that will be good, Paula..

ceil said...

Lolly have a great time in New York. I love New York. It gets very cold there. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. I will be busy getting ready to leave on Saturday for Oregon.

Paula hope that your mom gets released tomorrow.
Good night all.

WOw, Deb, your pictures are great.
Norfok botanical gardens has a "Garden of Lights" show in the gardens, that's what all the lights are.

Good Evening Evaryone. Goodnight to some who may be leaving.I didn't even get to watch nest this evening at work. By the time I thought of it, it was getting dark. Oh Well, tomorrow is another day, Scarlet.
Doing cards finally & tomorrow have to fix a dish to take to take to Park staff luncheon "meeting"!
I will not leave table til cards are done. You may find Spidey webs on me! LOL
BTW, what is tapping near mic? All good birds should be in bed.

NatureNut said...

Checked Norfolk. If you blow up pic. it sure looks like an eagle spending night in nest! Hard to tell tho--looks like head toward back & white stripe in front that could be a tail.

Lolly, do you have my email address for the recipe? No rush...whenver you get time. Know that you must be getting excited about your trip! You'll be back in hollering distance so give a yell when you fly over WV!!! Have a wonderful time.
Paula, sounds like a great evening. SO glad it went well! And hoping that tomorrow is a good day for your mom.
Calling it a night. Have to go to hospital tomorrow....no, nothing wrong. My former relief nurse is now the Occ Health nurse there and she needs some help with her end-of-year OSHA report, so going in to give her some help. Lunch in the bargain, too.
Talk to you all tomorrow. Peace and blessings.

Good Night, Good Morning...
Sounds like a lot of Eagle fun through the evening Wednesday...I spent the evening after staff party with the Grandson who is now officially 9 -
have to check in for work at 9 am - everyone seems to be getting sick...wasn't expecting to work dayshift but it gives me a headstart on my week-end days off.

So I guess I better get some shut-eye now.

By the way, ISS passes through Berkeley County right around 7 am, there are some pretty bright passovers coming up, with a negative 4 Saturday morning...

Best wishes for a great day for everyone...xo
