Thanks, Steve:) Have a great day everyone, the sun is shining brightly here now..gotta get back to work- song of the day-it's Dec. 1st- so it's gotta be Christmas music-I'm Gonna Lasso Santa Claus
Thank you Steve. Good morning sister. Guess you are right Margy. It is long but so beautiful reminding us that we will be celebrating while our military keeps us safe. Hi Megan.
MARGY'S POEM FOR CHRISTMAS TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE LIVED ALL ALONE, IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE.
I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE, AND TO SEE JUST WHO IN THIS HOME DID LIVE.
I LOOKED ALL ABOUT, A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE, NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS, NOT EVEN A TREE.
NO STOCKING BY MANTLE, JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND, ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.
WITH MEDALS AND BADGES, AWARDS OF ALL KINDS, A SOBER THOUGHT CAME THROUGH MY MIND.
FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT, IT WAS DARK AND DREARY, I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER, ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY.
THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING, SILENT, ALONE, CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.
THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE, THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER, NOT HOW I PICTURED A UNITED STATES SOLDIER.
WAS THIS THE HERO OF WHOM I'D JUST READ? CURLED UP ON A PONCHO, THE FLOOR FOR A BED?
I REALIZED THE FAMILIES THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT, OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.

I COULDN'T HELP WONDER HOW MANY LAY ALONE, ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.
THE VERY THOUGHT BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE, I DROPPED TO MY KNEES AND STARTED TO CRY.
THE SOLDIER AWAKENED AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE, 'SANTA DON'T CRY, THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;
I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM, I DON'T ASK FOR MORE, MY LIFE IS MY GOD, MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS.'
THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP, I COULDN'T CONTROL IT, I CONTINUED TO WEEP.
I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS, SO SILENT AND STILL AND WE BOTH SHIVERED FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL.
I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT, THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR SO WILLING TO FIGHT.
THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER, WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE, WHISPERED, 'CARRY ON SANTA, IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE.'
ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH, AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT. 'MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND,! AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT.'

The following is his request. I think it is reasonable.....
PLEASE. Would you do me the kind favor of sending this to as many people as you can? Christmas will be coming soon and some credit is due to our U.S. service men and women for our being able to celebrate these festivities. Let's try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what we owe. Make people stop and think of our heroes, living and dead, who sacrificed themselves for us. Please, do your small part to plant this small seed.

The panda feature was part of the Pittsburgh PBS fund raising yesterday.
I saw the bald eagle near the nest site that is 10 miles or so from me last week. The lake near the nest is already frozen over, but I guess the eagles know where to dfind food. I also saw a blue goose(snow goose morph) with a large flock of those rare Canada geese. A Hairy woodpecker came to my neighbors feeder yesterday, so I am happy to be getting new birds for my lifetime list.
MORNIN' GRANNYBLT!!---I couldn't remember the name of the ZZ -- PANDA FEATURE?---Isn't she a LITTLE IMP!!--- I have had all kinds of birds this year too!!---Have also had about 5 deer that come up to my kitchen window!!---I think with the dry summer food is scarce this year!!----I love watching!----Drop in more often!!

The Island cams out here are starting to get some action finally. The Santa Cruz/PH pair were both on their nest a few minutes ago when I opened the cam.
Some of the others are not coming through right now. It's foggy here on the mainland, so maybe the solar panels are not able to get the power flowing yet.
Another email from SSG Ryan...In a few hours we load up bags and start the worst travel experience possible. Everyone can not wait to get home and it seems like it takes forever for us to get there.I can not wait to be with you all again. I owe you more thanks then I could ever give. Your prayers and support have got me through this again.I know that in just a short while I wont have to miss you anymore And he signed it in true soldier words: "DAMN IT, LETS RIDE!!!"
Happy December 1st! Nice greeting from soldier Ryan, Jo! It may be a long, laborious trek home, but every second will be forgotten once their feet touch American soil!! Sissy, most definitely keep that foot elevated while you work! Margy, hope you are adjusted, and Mits, hope that your check-up goes well! Margy, the moose only twinkles for a few minutes, and then starts again when you refresh!
So great that Lib & Belle are building up the 12 noon position. It really helped last season with protection from the winter weather. Looks like they are getting some cleared floor room in the nest.
Just had thunder and hale! Go figure....still something icy blowing down...may be sleet now, but temp id 45 so probably just smaller hail! Interesting story about the guy who was pardoned....just goes to show that we must THINK before we act. For every action, there are consequences. I'll be pretty close to his town when I go to Warrenton, Missouri Thursday. More thunder...maybe I better shut down, just in case...where there's thunder, there's lightening! Oops...big flash and big boom!! BBL.
It sure is good to see everyone again....AND, OUR NEST so brown and bushy! Empty or not, it is a treat!
Mema- that email from Sgt. Ryan Rocks !
Just knew those eeewiees were gonna invade the nest at BWO...
Thanks MITS for posting the Christmas Poem
But folks, I am not the author...think you probably know that...it was sent to me by a dear friend.
Chiropractor visit went well, several more to come, and now, pay attention Sissy: (and do the same if you can, soon) I am going to prop my feet up with the rest of by bones and lie flat for awhile...
I do believe I just heard thunder! Welcome December !

Okay, sun out now...very windy...quite an unusual Dec. kind of storm! Well, just found out why the Hughesnet cops got me last week....even tho' I closed the live cam, I still hear the audio, which means it didn't shut down when I closed the window....no wonder I exceeded the broadband time limit!! Any suggestions?? I see the web blowing in the wind! Nest IS looking good! Guess I'm going to have to shut down again in order to close the cam. ARGH!
Looks like sun on the nest & I can hear bird chirping. Lynn, I don't understand why the audio would stay on when you completely close the live cam. DUH? Helen, glad your appt went well. And see Margy got some treatment too. Everyone has to get in tip top shape for our next Big Holiday! ☺ ☺ ☺ Sissy, hope you can get that foot up while working. Maybe use another chair or upside down trash can! ;>)
SkyWatch Alert: If you have clear skies tonight, Do Not Miss looking for the slender crescent Moon close to Venus and Jupiter in the South/West sky! At Sunset time.
I hear the wren at NCTC - Loretta, you would enjoy hearing this, hope you can....it's the chirping form of its song...not the chirpity chirpity chirpity form. I also now hear a Red Bellied Woodpecker..
Okay folks, I got to be in a meeting from 5 pm to 7 pm so I am counting on you to look for the Celestrial Trio at Sunset... Venus, Jupiter, and Moon...☺ hope the skies are clear....
Atlanta Pandas are sleeping in a row in the same position! I want one of those little ones for Xmas!! Santa??!! I have a stuffed one--not the same. Gotta go out for a couple, hope I'm back for eagles.
Good Afternoon Everyone; The weather here has turned to winter with snow.We had snow on Saturday that was about 1" but it didn't stay,Today we had snow and it is cold enough to stay, about 1".I went to the eagles nest and took some photos and i also went to the watershed and took photos also.I have posted them on my blog.winter with the eagles.I will post more as winter goes on.I dodn' see the eagles on saturday. I hope that everyone has a great day.
The photos are as taken and no editing. It is cool the way they came out.I bought a 1.7x teleconverter and now i can take up-close photos,i think it's going to work well.
So we picked up the kitten a week ago Sunday. Had to keep it isolated from the other two until it was tested for infectious diseases. The volunteer from Friends of Homeless Animals that checked it out said it was a male so we named it Timmy. I took it into the vet and HER name is now Chloe:
The vet gave us the all clear this past Saturday. Our middle cat, Bridget, is not at all pleased. She hasn't attacked Chloe but there's lots of hissing and she's made a few aborted runs at Chloe:
Kitties are great Bob. Our new kitten has been here for almost 2 months. The 2 yr. old stopped hissing after a week, but fun play-fighting goes on about twice a day & little one is usually the instigater. BTW, is teleconverter lense better than telepnoto? My tp was in car when it was stolen 1 1/2 yrs. ago. I have yet to purchase a new one, but need something.
Lots and Lots of good pics on all of your blogs.. Bob it looks as though Chloe is standing up for herself with Bridget. I am sure it will take Bridget a good while to accept another female!
I just looked outside upward to where Margy told me and Venus and Jupiter and the sliver of the moon are beautiful.
Gene and I saw Margy's Crescent moon and Venus and Jupiter coming home from Hagerstown this evening. Coming down Sharpsburg pike, it was a beautiful view (No trees & the sky was perfectly clear). We can't see that from our house for the trees. ALSO...on our way to Hagerstown, we were detoured, due to a very bad accident on I81 south. Didn't hear any details.
My S-I-L sent me an email of an Ice Sculpture called the Guardian Angel...It is very moving and if you have never seen it, I have posted it on "Wanda's Wishes".
Jo, I have never seen the sculpture before...it moved me. My avatar is suppose to twinkle??? Lolly told me last night that her Santa avatar is supposed to wave his hand, but it didn't happen for her. I'm thinking of using something other than photobucket.
Last night late I saw an opossum (sp?) on the RDHC Live Wildlife cam.
I hope that tree climber at Blackwater soon goes up to the nest & that the cam gets turned on. Mits saw an eagle pair mating at the BWO platform already.
Wanda : News on Brian Williams tonight he talked about and showed all the foxes that were being released out on the Channel Islands. I know that Dr Peter has a love for the foxes.
Yes - Jenny had foxes and I think they are grown now and gone. We were over there yesterday and she said she hadn't seen them for a while. They were really beautiful - looked just like the ones in your frames.
Hi all! Did not get on the blog at all today. Had a doctor appointment this morning. This afternoon Jack and I finished putting up lights outside. Now have wrist supports on my arms. Lovely! Dr. Carol convinced me I should continue to keep them supported.
Jack and I were out earlier looking at the lights and looked up and had a gorgeous view of the moon, Venus and Jupiter. Spectacular!
It has been cool, down in the 30's at night, but we still have not had a freeze. My begonias, roses, and a few others are still blooming. Supposed to get up in the 70's later on this week. I think of a lot of you...deep into winter weather already.
I paid most of my bills tonight. Now I can get Christmas Gifts in order. I am glad most of us got to see the sliver of a moon, J & V---beauty in the sky.
Good Night Everyone Peace to you and yours Prayers for all of our needs being said
That new monitor is your Christmas present to yourselves, eh Lolly? Good for you! Big day tomorrow...retirees Christmas luncheon. Have put a lot of time and effort into it, so hope it turns out as well as our first three did! Up and out kind of early, so will see you all in the evening. Rest well....stay warm! Peace.
...And Good Night to all you lovelies on here! Couldn't get past all the photos posted and comments to get on here soon enough to catch you before you headed for the pillows. Glad so many saw the Celestial Trio, and Loretta's capture is perfect !
Lolly: your doctor didn't give you a scolding did he/she for doing so much in your "fragile" condition?
As Hedgie would say, you are a Whirling Dervish !
Love the still more new avatars.. I'm just going to stick with my bird, don't think I can go through what the rest of you have to change things! I am, as Megan would say, a Bear of Little Brain (Winnie-the-Pooh).. ☺ ♥
Great great photos by everyone, including Dave and Bob, Loretta, and Wanda....
gotta batten down the hatches...car goes in early morning for what is probably going to be a very expensive tune-up...why at this time of the year...?? !! :(
Oh, forgot to mention, friend of mine got a 5-point on South Mountain near the Appalachian Trail. He said it was completely white/snowy up there...he walked a total of 12 miles in and out, got poked in the eye by a thorn on the trail...he and his Dad, are from Smithsburg. He is a great kid, like someone's little brother would be! He is one of our county deputies...
No, Margy, she did not scold me. She told me how lucky I was I did not break anything, as it would have required surgery if broken. Yikes! I just can not sit still when there is so much to do!!!!
Looks like Christmas present to myself is going to be car repairs! Woof !
I swear it looks like a pair of binoculars at the RHDC cam...off to the right... And the Snowman Cam is a Hoot! That is some Top Hat! And the goose looks like a lamb praying...

Hi Megan.
MARGY'S POEM FOR CHRISTMAS
TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,

NOT EVEN A TREE.
NO STOCKING BY MANTLE,
JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND,
ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES
OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.
WITH MEDALS AND BADGES,
AWARDS OF ALL KINDS,
A SOBER THOUGHT
CAME THROUGH MY MIND.
FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT,
IT WAS DARK AND DREARY,
I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER,
ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY.
THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING,
SILENT, ALONE,
CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR
IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.
THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE,
THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER,
NOT HOW I PICTURED
A UNITED STATES SOLDIER.
WAS THIS THE HERO

CURLED UP ON A PONCHO,

BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE,
I DROPPED TO MY KNEES
AND STARTED TO CRY.
THE SOLDIER AWAKENED
AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE,
'SANTA DON'T CRY,
THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;
I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM,
I DON'T ASK FOR MORE,
MY LIFE IS MY GOD,

THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER
AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP,
I COULDN'T CONTROL IT,
I CONTINUED TO WEEP.
I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS,
SO SILENT AND STILL
AND WE BOTH SHIVERED
FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL.
I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE
ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT,
THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR
SO WILLING TO FIGHT.
THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER,
WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE,
WHISPERED, 'CARRY ON SANTA,
IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE.'
ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH,
AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT.
'MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND,!

Welcome December !
xoxo ♥
Wonderful Sgt. Ryan news, wish all our wonderful military people could be on American soil
Clouds outside look like an August day.
but I am going to watch and listen to our nest for a little bit first...might be headed that way...

Yup, MITS - think they are getting those wind gusts at NCTC - and Maine is windy now too !
BWO all empty
and dark enough for Spidey Web to glow...
sounds like precipitation at nest now
and definitely rain..sounds like someone unwrapping cellophane..
Hang in there Eagle Cam !
maybe some Hail, Mits...see it bouncing off the tree branch?
the worst of this storm is south of the nest....watching it on radar now
Nest looks solid as a rock...and spidey definitely is durable !
about 40 mins fron now should be heading into Middletown.
Okay, so this means December will go out like a lamb ? Since it came in like a lion?
Is it coming your way too MITS?
Hedgie it is safe to come out from under the bed now . ☺
Well, what a pleasant little storm this is- glad I was way out in the yard when it started- wonderful ice pellets coming down now....
Megan - you're kidding us aren't you...were you really glad to be way out in the yard?
Be Careful!
Off to Panda Nap, though I fear I might miss an Eagle visit....
xoxo ♥
...'cause they should come and do some damage inspection and some nestorations !
Looking out towards the west there isn't anyway that storm system is going to miss us.
Staying home until it passes over.
Thanks Mits for the warning.
AT least it's moving fast-just lasting long enough to drive me inside and annoy me- gotta get back to work, later gators:)
Dark sky overhead with thunder..
Don't see any lightning.......
it is fast moving, and intensity is a little less, but hang out at home for awhile, Jo, it won't last long:)
storm track just changed to a little more south of you Jo, but you still might get some precip.
sun is shining at nest.
It has arrived!
Wind is calm but their is a downpour of the ice pellets
Lightning & thunder........
DEC ???
All finished - all systems GO.....
Deck is totally white with the
icy pellets.......
2 eewwiies at BWO...one has a white chest
birdies chirping at our nest.
Hailed here in Frederick about 20 minutes ago...
Hey, I think ZZ is in the drink!
1st time I've seen her in the water.
And they have new cam numbers for different bears, but they are not listed correctly at the bottom of the page.
C(°?°)3
Jim
Might be "snow" in their enclosure too. Now, ZZ and Bai are wrestling around in a 'box,' which looks like it has been loaded with snow.

BBL

Okay, sun out now...very windy...quite an unusual Dec. kind of storm!
Well, just found out why the Hughesnet cops got me last week....even tho' I closed the live cam, I still hear the audio, which means it didn't shut down when I closed the window....no wonder I exceeded the broadband time limit!! Any suggestions??
I see the web blowing in the wind!
Nest IS looking good! Guess I'm going to have to shut down again in order to close the cam. ARGH!
Helen, did your check-up go okay??
yes, Lynn went great:), thanks for asking:)
go to plastic surgeon next week for final follow up on last Feb's surgery......now if I could just loose some weight, maybe after holidays:)
See ya'll later!

1 apple left at RDHC deer site:)
☺ ☺ ☺
Sissy, hope you can get that foot up while working. Maybe use another chair or upside down trash can! ;>)

At Sunset time.

I hear the wren at NCTC - Loretta, you would enjoy hearing this, hope you can....it's the chirping form of its song...not the chirpity chirpity chirpity form. I also now hear a Red Bellied Woodpecker..
Eagle at BWO looks soooooooo big

Those Eagle Talons: they look so big the way the bird is perched there...
The eewieees did a number on the leftovers all right!

My naturalist frient in New York saw an Eagle on the ice at Chatauqua Lake...and the snow up where he is is waist deep...

Good Afternoon Everyone; The
weather here has turned to winter
with snow.We had snow on Saturday
that was about 1" but it didn't
stay,Today we had snow and it is
cold enough to stay,about 1".I
went to the eagles nest and took some photos and i also went to the
watershed and took photos also.I
have posted them on my blog.winter
with the eagles.I will post more
as winter goes on.I dodn' see
the eagles on saturday.
I hope that everyone has a great
day.
Indiana Nesting Eagles----Dave
Captured 3 pics of our eagles--on blog. ☺ ☺ ☺
Wow, Dave, those are great shots. The B/W effect emphasizes the cold and bleakness of winter weather!
Hi Dave! Will take a look at your pics! Thx for sharing. We get a few seconds a day if we're lucky! ☺
pretty pics, Dave.
Crescent moon, Venus and Jupiter are beautiful! Step out and take a look!
The photos are as taken and no
editing. It is cool the way they
came out.I bought a 1.7x teleconverter and now i can take
up-close photos,i think it's going
to work well.
dave
wow, it sure is, Lynn:)
There is a squirrel in the CC osprey nest.
Nice pictures, Dave.
deer on snowman cam
The photo of the tree in the lake
is the same tree as i have taken
with the esgles on it and in the
fall colors photos.
Dave
What's a teleconverter, Dave? Like a zoom lens?
changed the view, back on the RDHC deer cam
So we picked up the kitten a week ago Sunday. Had to keep it isolated from the other two until it was tested for infectious diseases. The volunteer from Friends of Homeless Animals that checked it out said it was a male so we named it Timmy. I took it into the vet and HER name is now Chloe:
Chloe
The vet gave us the all clear this past Saturday. Our middle cat, Bridget, is not at all pleased. She hasn't attacked Chloe but there's lots of hissing and she's made a few aborted runs at Chloe:
Bridget and Chloe (and Bonnie)
Enjoyed the photos Dave. Having a teleconverter can really make a difference. You'l get great use from it.
cute kitties, Bob.
Hedgie; It is a lense that you use
to make a 200mm lense to a 340mm
or a 300mm lense to a 510mm to take
better photos.I have used it and i
like it.
Indiana Nesting Eagles----Dave
2 mooses on moose cam
Just put couple more pics on blog----moon & friends & Atlanta pandas.
How ironic,Bob Ryan just now showed on NBC4 Weather a pic of the sky taken by a man in Shepherdstown! Name is John Bonbright---anybody know him?
and a deer too.
puppies sleeping
Thanks, Dave.
Chloe is a cutie, Bob! Bonnie and Bridget are nice, too. Are you outnumbered in a house full of females???
Yes, I am out numbered 4-1 now.
BOB, I love the last picture of Chloe...she looks like she is saying her prayers :)
Dave, great snowy pics----preview of things to come here.
Good evening everyone. Hope all is well with you! I am feeling a little better today. Going to lie down for a while. Will check back in later.
Puppies have awaken and at the back door. Their news is that a couple will be leaving this coming weekend.
I am anxious to see which pup will be kept.
I think they changed their minds & the nap goes on!
I have always loved seeing that sculpture, Wanda, even though the saddness it brings to my heart.
Love your wreath avatar!
Snowman cam - Top hat for snowman is really a High Hat......
Jo, I have never seen the sculpture before...it moved me.
My avatar is suppose to twinkle???
Lolly told me last night that her Santa avatar is supposed to wave his hand, but it didn't happen for her. I'm thinking of using something other than photobucket.
Last night late I saw an opossum (sp?)
on the RDHC Live Wildlife cam.
I hope that tree climber at Blackwater
soon goes up to the nest & that the
cam gets turned on. Mits saw an eagle pair mating at the BWO platform
already.
Wanda : News on Brian Williams tonight he talked about and showed all the foxes that were being
released out on the Channel Islands.
I know that Dr Peter has a love for
the foxes.
Mating already? Sounds like this is going to be a productive year for them ;)
Seeing a fox in the wild is very special to me. Was it Jennifer who feeds peanuts to her foxes?
Yes - Jenny had foxes and I think they are grown now and gone. We were over there yesterday and she said she hadn't seen them for a while.
They were really beautiful - looked just like the ones in your frames.
Wanda sent you an email about the accidents (am & pm) on 81.
BBL
Moon and J & V slipped below the horizon a while ago...boo! Pretty while they stayed.
Jenny is a FOXY lady :)
Good evening everyone. Getting ready for bed now. See you all tomorrow.
Been watching some TV & will prob. konk out in that comfy lounge chair.
So Pleasant Feather Dreams to Everyone...☺ ♥ ☺ ♥
Yeah, Lolly, ground is white in Bluefield.
Good night and sweet eagle dreams, my friends of fine feather and fur. I pray you all have a peaceful night.
Christmas shopping did me in today, heading to bed a little early. See you all in the morning.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS
Nite all! Sweet dreams!
Jack and I just ordered ourselves a new monitor on line. Going with a 22". It was time to upgrade!
I paid most of my bills tonight.
Now I can get Christmas Gifts in order. I am glad most of us got to see the sliver of a moon, J & V---beauty in the sky.
Good Night Everyone
Peace to you and yours
Prayers for all of our needs being said
((hugs)) ♥
That new monitor is your Christmas present to yourselves, eh Lolly? Good for you!
Big day tomorrow...retirees Christmas luncheon. Have put a lot of time and effort into it, so hope it turns out as well as our first three did! Up and out kind of early, so will see you all in the evening.
Rest well....stay warm! Peace.
...And Good Night to all you lovelies on here! Couldn't get past all the photos posted and comments to get on here soon enough to catch you before you headed for the pillows. Glad so many saw the Celestial Trio, and Loretta's capture is perfect !
xoxo
Lolly: your doctor didn't give you a scolding did he/she for doing so much in your "fragile" condition?
As Hedgie would say, you are a Whirling Dervish !
Love the still more new avatars..
I'm just going to stick with my bird, don't think I can go through what the rest of you have to change things! I am, as Megan would say, a Bear of Little Brain (Winnie-the-Pooh).. ☺ ♥
I see some of you had five minutes of heaven this afternoon...
Wonderful !
Thanks Loretta for capturing them for the rest of us !
Deear at RHDC and our cam looks a tad sad :(
In other words, out of service....
Double :(
Great great photos by everyone, including Dave and Bob, Loretta, and Wanda....
gotta batten down the hatches...car goes in early morning for what is probably going to be a very expensive tune-up...why at this time of the year...?? !! :(
Glad everyone made it through their doctor's appointments today okay....good to see Sharon for a fleeting moment...
Peace, Love, and Prayers, all xo ♥
Oh, forgot to mention, friend of mine got a 5-point on South Mountain near the Appalachian Trail. He said it was completely white/snowy up there...he walked a total of 12 miles in and out, got poked in the eye by a thorn on the trail...he and his Dad, are from Smithsburg. He is a great kid, like someone's little brother would be! He is one of our county deputies...
No, Margy, she did not scold me. She told me how lucky I was I did not break anything, as it would have required surgery if broken. Yikes! I just can not sit still when there is so much to do!!!!
And, our new monitor is not a Christmas present to ourselves. It is our anniversary (last June)present to ourselves. We are a bit s l o w. ☺
For Christmas we are going to give ourselves a lap top. When we travel I can still blog. ☺
Now That's the way to travel, Lolly
Good for you guys!
Looks like Christmas present to myself is going to be car repairs! Woof !
I swear it looks like a pair of binoculars at the RHDC cam...off to the right...
And the Snowman Cam is a Hoot! That is some Top Hat! And the goose looks like a lamb praying...
I have wondered how much longer we will be able to see the thermometer at snowman cam.
Wow- moon and planets sure were beautiful tonite....
Just quit working, long day, off to bed- nite..........
Nite Megan! Looks like we might have our first freeze tonight, then I will have more yard work cleaning up!
