No ZOO, today, Norma. The only way you can tell it is Tai, is because he is in the newest yard. Mei and Tian aren't together during the day anymore, because they had a fight last week.

Good Morning All, sure hope Pharoah gets to come home. I pray he is well, now. Don't work too hard Suzanne. You know Suzanne that prednisone compromises the immune system. A good dose of cortisone always helped my little feline leukemia Kitty, but it sure made him suceptible to other infection. Asthma sure is hard on them, though and about the only relief they can get from that is the steroids. Hang in there with him. He sounds wonderful (as does Golden Boy)/ donna

Morning, CostumeLady, Mits, Normabyrd, and Robynann. Good to see so many here. Had to stop on other PC and call vet, my Pharaoh has a catherator(?), and did pee for vet last night. Then this lady, bless her heart, understatement of the year..."He's very unhappy here." Well DUH!!! He's not home, and has one of those horrible caths in, I wouldn't be happy either!!! Geeesh. But dang, has to stay in hospital again tonight, but at least I can go visit him this afternoon! So I will do that when I get home. If things remain improving like they are, I can bring him home tomorrow. Hope and pray for the best!!

Did glance back at the blogs, but don'tremember who said what. Mits, think you asked me about VA, another one of the many cams I can't get. And Norma, yes, that little owlet this morning at a rodent almost as big as he was. Gross. They eat the things whole, but it was funny, cause he had to have his wings out to help him balance while he got the thing down. Also took a few minutes too! And yes, Robynann, they are something to watch. They still have a rodent in the nest they keep passing around, but it's not eaten yet. And Robynann, thanks for the good wishes for Pharaoh.

Mits, forgot today was Wed, zoo day. Have a great time!!!! Hope it doesn't rain for you. Not raining here, but sun's not really out either.

Checked Kent, Spirit was on babies, but haven't seen #2 yet. Will keep glancing.

Ok, BBL.

Good morning everyone...I have a busy day today, so I will only be lurcking from time to time. I checked on the hawks this am...they changed the angle on the CAM yesterday, and you can really get a feel for how high those little guys are. The owls looked to still be 4 and getting bigger by the hour.
Hope everyone has a great day

I have 2 kitty's also suznne, my daughter rescued her newest addition when he was 2 mths and bottle fed him kitten formula till he was able to eat on his own. The part she hated the most was to help stimulate him to poop.

Normbyrd I started watching when there was 7 owlets and watch 2 of them being eaten by the nest mates (how sad) when they died, yet I also heard the bigger owlet helped feed the smallest one.

Has anyone heard anything on the remaining egg at PS? I posted on their forum so maybe eglecam hq will know something. I am very worried now.

Change over at Kent...both eagles are having "bad hair" days lately...either molting or got new punk hairdresser.

Robynann, all my cats are rescued, sorta. They are all rescued, but the mom of the kittens I have was preggers when I rescued her. Didn't know that at the time! She had 5 kittens, could give away 2, kept 3, a male and 2 females. They're not kittens anymore, they just turned 3 last month, and my male is the one that's going nuts missing Pharaoh, my only other male. Guess those poor boys have to stick together against all the girls in the house! Poor thing, guess I'll give him extra pets tonight. But at least Pharaoh should be alright once he starts going on his own. Had to laugh when you said hardest part was stimulating his kidneys. Hardest part about the 6 I had was potty training them. Mom wanted nothing to do with it, but come to find out, she was only 10 months old when she had them! Didn't have too many problems except with my male. He absolutely REFUSED to go in the litter box! He would potty right next to it, and look at me and dare me to say something! Which, of course, I did. Finally one day I was reading the paper, he looked at me in his "stance" and I said the heck with it. Told him to go ahead, I give up. Then started reading paper again. Watched him out of the side of the paper, and the little toot just looked at me with the most puzzled expression. You could almost see him shrug his shoulders, then in the box he went. That was it. If I'd known that, I would have stopped a long time before then trying to get him to go in the box! Never had any more problems. They can be a trip! But I enjoy having them around!!

Poor Spirit looks soaked again today. Wish the rain would stop out there for a couple days to let the little ones get a strong foothold on life!
