GOOD A.M. EAGLE BUDDIES!!!!----WHAT A GREAT WELCOME STEVEN!!!!---LOVE THAT PIC---(may bring tears!)-----Thanks for being so THOUGHTFUL!!-------------HELLO MITS--JIM--&-SUZANNE!!!!--I found the LOON last night---When SANDYSHAW mentioned the LOON earlier---I checked in on the WA LOON---But when I was catching up on the blog last nite----I FOUND THIS LOON!!!---QUITE A FIND!!
Good Morning Eagle Buddies WHAT A PICTURE ON THIS NEW THREAD Love It! Thanks Suzanne for the pics - I'll get them over into Momsters' today. I checked emails & now need to read previous thread to see who I missed.
As some of you know---I am a feeder at the WV raptor Rehab center here in Morgantown. Yesterday one of our resident birds taught me an important lesson...and one I will not soon forget! As I was feeding, and looking straight at this beautiful Red Tail Hawk…I thought that something caught her eye, as she turned around on her perch. I learned however; NEVER get behind a bird during feeding time. You guessed it….Bird poop! Right in the face.
I have not been able to go back and read all the previous blogs (sorry), but I see there is an egg in the Puget Sound nest..will this egg be able to hatch since it's so late in the season?
PHYRFLY---Sorry!!!---I thought it was funny!----That's one thing we don't get to see very often this year---LAST YEAR----POO was flying all the time----I think that is called a "LEARNING EXPERIENCE"----
I watched last year---and the shooting off the nest, but it never connected for me...until yesterday that is. It was really funny. Obviously I had to go and change before I went back to work...so you know Everyone I saw asked why I had different clothes on...so the humor lasted ALL day LOL
LOL, other than your personal poop shoot, hope you had a wonderful birthday, Phyrfly!
Hey NORMA!!! Welcome back! And good morning to all that have arrived since this morning! Well, early this morning, I mean. Was just looking at our nest, and wind must really be blowing. the leaves that are gonna block the nest were on the right side of the pic. Kind of framed the nest really well. But if they keep growing, they're gonna block the nest really well. Eaglet in BW, has something to eat. Osprey back in BW, chased a black bird off when he arrived. Kent kids are snoozing, but their trees are getting lots whiter. Phyrfly, you may want to look at those trees! Kids are whitewashing them. Must say, they are consistent in their aim! PA falcons are strolling the ledge. Guess our cam is gone again, not sure what kind of washed out pic that is now.
Joni It is a dud! It won't hatch but it also won't dry up and disappear like most inviable eggs do. We joke that is it EggMate for the little one - but they all sit on it.
The WA osprey cam is down for me - wonder what was in the nest, Suzanne?
PHYRFLY - That will never happen again! I can see it now - can't stop chuckling when I picture you getting you very own special day poop shoot!
Suzanne, I don't think it's the same male, but whichever male it is, if they produce eggs, it will be all about making a big mistake this late in the season, I think.
They could be bonding in preparation for next year...don't know what happened to Dad, but he's not going to be back on this platform next year.
HI JONI---I don't think I have met you----WELCOME!!!!---I am jumping all over the blog----ALL OF CA BARN OWLS ARE ALL PRESENT---(w/fledge soon)----NY KILLDEERS are almost ready to TAKE OFF----KY OSPREY---3 in the nest!!!
Good Morning NORMA-glad you are feeling well enough to join us again today. You will not have to pay a fine and you have been re-instated to the PJ club.
HI JO-Joni-Jim-Dana-and Mits. I too have a lot of work to tend to today. Getting ready to put new racks in my shop that I purchased from JILL. They will sure help me to display my accessories better.
Hello, JONI, glad you stopped by and, that, Jo answered you question, stop back again if you get a chance, we have a great networking system here, and as you can tell very relaxed.......Comcast was here puter running better, its a ram thing, and, he said my puter sucks....good news, time for a new one:):):). SHHH, don't tell hubby if I wanted to I could call DELL, and get a ram card with more ram. Would like to get a lap-top, that I could take into the LR, so that, I can watch the ocean, instead of being stuck in the back BR!
Hi all. I just took a pic of our cam, Jo, I'll send to you. Leaves blowing and covering the nest. Kind of looks cool, though, but if we had babies this year, we'd never see them fledge on a windy day! Both osprey back in nest, still one eaglet in BW, and the Kent eaglets are doing wing stretches while parent in tree watches.
You guys and your PJ club. When I first read that I had to laugh! The ONLY clothes I wear on weekends are joggins suits!! If I HAVE to go out, I usually dress, do my running, and come home and get comfy again in my jogging suits. Just because that's what it's called doesn't mean that's the purpose! Should be loungins/sleeping/relaxing/I'm not getting dressed today suits! hee hee, too comfy!
All morning, off and on, both BW eaglets have been doing what I thought were nestorations. If you look at the nest now, what they were doing is destroying it! Look at all the loose branches those kids have moved around! Geesh, teenagers! Too funny. CLEAN YOUR ROOM..... (yeah, right.)
SUZANNE---THAT'S a "COOL" photograph-----Thanks for sharing it with us!!!!!----HI MITS----I AGREE----YOU NEED A LAP TOP!---particularly when you are at the beach!!!----(If I get you a lap-top---may I come to the BEACH & go to your back BR & use your old one!!!)---ho!
Ok, right this second, the WA osprey cam is up. Jo, Mits, sent another pic. What in the world is that thing? Whatever it is, doesn't appear to be bothering the ospreys any. Swear it looks like a sunken anchor, but I can't see them hauling that up there!
Yes, you may, NORMA......Suzanne, my osprey cam comes and goes at WA. I agree looks like an anchor, I really don't know who to write to about it...I'm lost down here with out most of my favorites, and now, am afraid to jam up my computer with anything else.
REMEMBER THE MILLER PARK EAGLES?------They certainly have OUTSTANDING PICS of those TWO!!!!----BEAUTY (female) lives in this Small Park & somehow the male was lost or killed & a stray male EAGLE stopped by & is living there----They mated & she has 1 EGG----EVERYONE IS WAITING TO SEE IF IT WILL HATCH!!! ----correct me PAULA if I am WRONG----
I don't know, what I have in the area, JILL, will have to check it out. I really like my DELL lap-top at home, even though I don't move it around from room to room, it has a wider screen, and I like the battery operated mouse.
Good Morning all. There is a storm blowing over so its cooler today. We wont see any of its rain but the cooler temps feel good. The Sierras pull the summer rain from the valley. Norma is there a cam for the Miller Park eagles?. That sounds like a real story to follow.. I watched the loons until it got dark last night. Then I went to bed when it was still light here. I feel better today. Tonight I need to dead head roses and prune grapes. With my galivanting around my yard is going to pot. I love to read Suzanne's monolog in the morning. I swear she is up before any birds. I dont even funtion that early. OH DANA, I wished you to be covered with love and happiness for the coming year. Thats not what I had in mind. Back to work, I will be in and out.
NORMA = Miller park eagles - a wild eagle stopped by for a couple of days, and all of a sudden the captive female laid 2 eggs, one of which since has disappeared - It doesn't look like her eggs were fertile - there hasn't been a hatch yet.
"In late April a wild bald eagle landed on a tree along side the Zoo’s bald eagle exhibit. Around that time Beauty started building a nest and laid two eggs – her first in about 13 years. On May 18, one of Beauty’s eggs mysteriously disappeared, but the other remains in the nest. Although the Zoo is unsure if the egg is fertile, gestation is 30 – 40 days, which would make Memorial Day weekend the likely hatching period for a fertile egg. "
JILL---TAI HAS HIS FAVORITE, FROZEN FRUIT ICICLE!---I just made the remark the other day---IF I WERE KING OF THE ZOO----TAI would get many---many more Fruit Icicles----
JILL & WANDA---Last year they would give TAI his ICICLE & his MOM hers------She would always finish first---& proceed to take his away from him!!!!----We all would get so upset with MEI!!!
WANDA---I am pretty SURE they are separated-----I think MEI is living separate from DAD!---She has been artificially inseminated-----& MEI & DAD were fighting----so they separated them!!!----They would really go after each other-----YELLING & CHASING!!!--ho!
Well if that is a popsicle he is going to need a bath tonight. LOL. He wasn't even trying to put it in his mouth just heading himself in the head. LOL.
JILL---Goofed the last comment---That is TAI with the bamboo---He has gotten so much bigger---It's hard to tell----I can tell TAI---HE HAS A WHITE BEHIND!!---MITS works at the ZOO & she can tell by the background!!!
Norma, your wonderful. Yes I got the sight and I have tried everything I know how to pull the cam in but its stays blank. I will try at home. Maybe its the IT department here thats stopping me. I can get the loon in just fine. Mom left the egg for a while and I guess grabbed a bite to eat. I guess Babe is sleeping as I cant see him. The egg is almost an army green on my screen and bigger than I imagined it would be. They are an interesting bird. Their cry is what interest me
HEIDIGIRL----I am so happy you found the site---I am going to check in on the loon!!!---This a.m. the loon wasn't there--but the EGG was!!!----Are you still saving your RED DRESS?---ho!--You are COOL!!--
WHAT a DELIGHT!!!----The LOON CAM-----She has "BLACK FLUFF" BALLS---(now that's a change)---Those CHICKS are always on the move!---BEAUTIFUL LOON---Who or What could compete with that coloring!!!! THANKS SANDYSHAW!!!---
JILL---What I saw looked like a WHITE CONE BOTTOM & SOMETHING ON TOP, ETC.----Then he had bamboo!!!-----We are quite a pair--ho! ho!---The blind leading the blind!!!
JILL Your description is pretty acurate, they put protein bars in there for the pandas, it is part of an enrichment program for them, they like them not to be bored.......did you all realize if we only watched loons, this blog might be called the LOONIE-BIN:):):)!
Oh yes Norma, that red dress, that dress is my badge of defiance. Its my "up yours". I have days when I almost loose my nerve and days like today when I could wear it to work. I'd loose my job but I think you know what I mean. I have been the obedient, sweet, compromising wife and mother all my life and now its time for dancing on tables before I loose my looks and health.I will wear it! I'm on Atkins again so it will look better from behind too. :)
Mama loon off and on the egg. Something scared her and off she went into the water with Babe falling over the top of her. It was a tumble. He just came to the top of the water and followed her as fast as he could. I laughed out loud.
Norma I have to turn off and fight the high ways. I'll check again when I get home. It should take me about 45 min to get home. Then off with the heels and pantyhose. Later
HEIDIGIRL---They will REMOVE THE EGG 6/6/07 at 2:00 CDT----Plan to x-ray---then maybe other testing--- WILL LET US KNOW---WHEN THEY GET THROUGH THE TESTING, ETC.
I had a great chuckle for the day when I read the blog and heard about Phyrfly's birthday poop shoot! Sorry Phyrfly, but it must have looked really silly and you are a good sport to be able to laugh at the whole thing. ;)
Mama and baby loon are still out of the nest. and all is quiet in the owl nest. So glad to hear that our eagles, Liberty and Belle were at the nest this morning for a visit. I still like to see them and know that they are near.
Santa Cruz chick is still napping as the breeze blowe either his nest back and forth or the camera. I don't know which. Kent chicks stir now and then. Maybe they'll be getting their dinner soon. Oh geez, both back to sleep again.
Well it is getting late. I want to take one last look at the storks and then head out. Hope you all have a pleasant evening and a beautiful sunrise tomorrow.
Good morning Suzanne. Thanks for the pics. I still enjoy seeing our eagles.
Its 8:30 my time. I have done some yard work and got some watering done. If you dont water it here it doest grow. No rain. My lawn has some brown spots. I have a man come in and mow but I do the rest. I had a cleaning lady until my husband died but that took care of that. My neighborhood gets nasty if things arent just right. I long for a place in the country but thats a tomorrow dream. It will come true but just not today. Its been a good day and I thank the LORD for my blessings .With all of the pain I am have been blessed so much.Good Night All.
EVERYONE, GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP WELL/GOOD MORNING TO A GREAT WEDNESDAY....
June 6th is the anniversary of D-Day. Let's thank God for the success of those brave men, who took the beaches in Normandy, and who contributed so much to the Allies' victory and to our freedom.
Good morning, eagle world. Hi Candy, Jo, and Heidigirl. Hump day! Getting more rain, still need it. Was raining at my house when I left, but then down to a drizzle by the time I got to this side of Thurmont, and still drizzling down here. Hope it lasts all day...till quitting time for me, anyway. 62° at my house, 68° here at work, so not too bad outside. Hey Jim, thanks for the reminder of D-Day! I always try to remember 6 June, and Dec 7th, Pearl Harbor Day. All cams are MT but the stork cam, and they are awake and kids are grooming, parent snoozing. WildWatch barn owl cam still down, been down since the 4th. Let's hope Liberty and Belle stop by for another nice visit this morning. If they do, they're due pretty soon. For the most part, our cam has a nice clear pic. But every once in a while, lines. All have a great eagle day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
Ok, take that back. Only 1, think it may be Belle but wouldn't swear to it, and the other "white" I'm seeing is leaves in the nest. Still there, standing in Belle's spot.
Getting daylight out. Both still just standing there looking around. Belle by tree, Lib in nest by right hand perch. Now they moved, Belle facing in the nest. Leaves blowing. Uh oh, Lib is now getting on perch, Belle watching from center of nest.
Brrr, was just outside, it's cooled off. It also must have really rained between 4 and now, streets are all wet. They were dry when I came in. Osprey has arrived in BW osprey nest. PA falcons are strolling on the ledge. they FINALLY have the banding results on the website:
6/4/2007 :: Nestling Update Results from the banding event are as follows: Female- Red Band, Female- Blue Band, Male- Green Band and Male- Yellow band. All four fledglings were treated for feather mites. Both of the males have been monitored for the possible symptoms of a protozoan infection. Both appear to be healthy. As in past years, naturally occurring processes and events are allowed to take their course whenever possible. Intervention takes place only when absolutely necessary. In anticipation of the young birds taking their first flight the falcon watch and rescue program will begin Monday, June 11th and continue through Sunday, June 17th.
Oh, just read it. Guess they're getting ready to fledge! They sure grown fast!
GOOD MORNING SUZ-- I got up this morning early enough to see Belle & Lib visiting. Was a nice long visit. I was wondering; do the Eagles stay here in the Winter months?
Good morning, Costume Lady. Yes, Liberty and Belle do stay here during the winter months. The Potomac doesn't freeze, so their food supply is adequate for them. Lisa said once that eagles have "winter" and "summer" nests, so don't know if Lib and Belle have another nest, but I believe they were here around the Sycamore tree all winter. Just saw wing flapping going on on the falcon ledge. Practicing.
Looks like there are is a new branch with a lot of leaves. Wonder if they'd like to come and get the leaves that are blowing in front of the cam. There goes the pic again!
CostumeLady, I sure hope you're still around just watching! Think this may be Liberty, but only cause he brought the branch in, and moved by his perch. Still standing on the perch, but not at the top.
Our nest is very pretty! Sun coming up, it's beautiful. Had an eaglet visitor in BW, but gone next refresh. Fuzzy osprey also gone. Falcons are sunning themselves on the ledge.
So glad to hear that costume lady got to see the eagles in our nest this morning. I feel they are still our main birds. I must have just missed the second visit, as I got to school just too late to get on and see them. Darn
Well not much new here. I did get a kick out of reading about phyrfly and her poop shoot. To funny. :) Sounds like something that would happen to me, and on her birthday too.
Well, was just checking in. I'm not part of the pj club yet, but only have 2 and a half more days with kids. :) Then 3 days to get the room shut down. Hooray!
Morning, Candy! Sorry you missed Lib's second visit. He didn't stay very long the 2nd time. Hope CostumeLady got to see it, but she was gonna get coffee. I know you're anxious to get a summer break! I sure would be! Hope you have a wonderful day.
GOOD MORNING BEACHMOM-- Had coffee with my husband this morning. He doesn't usually get up when I do, so I have coffee with Suz. Gotta get him when I can!
SUZ-do you know they are taking Mrs Loon's egg away today? She is sitting there right now looking so hopeful with the sun rising on her. So sad.
GOOD A.M. EAGLE BUDDIES!!!!---I have Study Group & then lunch!!----W/check in this afternoon----STAY COOL!----REMEMBER D-DAY--6th of June!!-----W/take LOON EGG to study today at 2:00--CDT---Later!!

Good Morning all...
I learned an important lesson yesterday on my birthday...anyone interested in hearing about it....
I'm listening...
As some of you know---I am a feeder at the WV raptor Rehab center here in Morgantown. Yesterday one of our resident birds taught me an important lesson...and one I will not soon forget! OH YEAH PHYRFRY (DANA)!----I love hearing about other friends' BIRTHDAY!!!---WHAAAT HAPPENED?????
I never laughted so hard. I was covered! head, hair, shirt and pants. LOL Happy Birthday to me
I have not been able to go back and read all the previous blogs (sorry), but I see there is an egg in the Puget Sound nest..will this egg be able to hatch since it's so late in the season?

It just goes to show...you are never to old to learn something new!
There's an eaglet in the BW nest and the Osprey female just returned...
Norfolk looked abandoned, but I saw one moving just above the nest, and it looks like another one quietly perched further to the right.
Have a great day, everybody.
Jim
LOL, other than your personal poop shoot, hope you had a wonderful birthday, Phyrfly!
Hey NORMA!!! Welcome back! And good morning to all that have arrived since this morning! Well, early this morning, I mean.

Jim, ospreys were mating this morning, what's that about? I hope it's a couple just reaffirming their bond to each other!
PHYRFLY, I hope you had a HAPPY BIRTHDAY anyway.
Did you see that clip of the Puget Sound eaglet letting loose all over Pop?
Jim

CAM up for a few sec.----AGREE --IT LOOKS LIKE A PIPE OF SOME SORT--
Not sure it looks like an anchor!!
Time for me to hit the road. All have a good eagle day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly.
Norma, I already closed my email. Jo and Mits have a better pic of whatever it is, maybe one of them will email the pic to you. Very strange.
Hey Mits, dont' they have a Dell store in Salisbury? LOL. Maybe it is Gateway. I forget.
I don't know, what I have in the area, JILL, will have to check it out. I really like my DELL lap-top at home, even though I don't move it around from room to room, it has a wider screen, and I like the battery operated mouse.

OMG JILL!--I'll check again!!!---Don't want the "LITTLE PRINCE" to get hurt!!!!
All the pandas are seperated now. Only one on camera now is eating bamboo, no more popsicle.
JILL---THAT'S BAMBOO!!!!----When I first looked----Didn't he have a CONE SHAPE thing in his hand & lying back & "whacking" his head?
Their cry is what interest me
HEIDIGIRL----I am so happy you found the site---I am going to check in on the loon!!!---This a.m. the loon wasn't there--but the EGG was!!!----Are you still saving your RED DRESS?---ho!--You are COOL!!--
Norma, I only saw a white thing that looked like pvc pipe with a cap on it. Then the bamboo, maybe you saw something else.
Heidigirl--
I will email the Bloomington, Ill. Eagle site to you if that is what you are trying to find.
ATLANTA ZOO---MEI LAN (ATLANTA BEAUTY) is lying atop the HAMOCOCK LOG "SUN BATHING"-----She is such an independent little CUB!!!
JILL Your description is pretty acurate, they put protein bars in there for the pandas, it is part of an enrichment program for them, they like them not to be bored.......did you all realize if we only watched loons, this blog might be called the LOONIE-BIN:):):)!
MITS--
Had to laugh out loud at you. "Loonie Bin"-Being at the Beach must give you an Extra Sense of Humor!
We may be the "Loonie Bin " anyway.
Bored Pandas would not be good. Kind of like bored Eaglet Momsters. Trouble Trouble Trouble.
Mama loon is off the nest again if anyone would like to look at the egg.
Mama loon off and on the egg. Something scared her and off she went into the water with Babe falling over the top of her. It was a tumble. He just came to the top of the water and followed her as fast as he could. I laughed out loud.
HEIDIGIRL---Check the EGG---Doesn't it look like this end has been cracked?----What do you think??
I was just thinking that. You said it before me. She has been off and on it all day.
She wouldnt leave it if there was an active chick coming out would she?
Might be a shadow--?
Norma I have to turn off and fight the high ways. I'll check again when I get home. It should take me about 45 min to get home. Then off with the heels and pantyhose. Later
No--I think I read they are planning to remove the egg 6/6/07----I am new to this site---
HEIDIGIRL---DRIVE SAFELY!!!!! ho!
HEIDIGIRL---They will REMOVE THE EGG 6/6/07 at 2:00 CDT----Plan to x-ray---then maybe other testing---
WILL LET US KNOW---WHEN THEY GET THROUGH THE TESTING, ETC.
The Loon egg does look funny. Like it might have a hole in the side now. HUMMMMMM
good Tuesday evening Jill, Normabyrd, costumelady and heidigirl! Finally have a chance to get on and all the action is over for the day.
Two Harbors chicks are waking up, Santa Cruz and Kent chicks are still snoozing. Still no loon back, unless it is a still camera now.
Parent is in Two Harbor with dinner. The chicks know when it is time to eat.
Santa Cruz chick is still napping as the breeze blowe either his nest back and forth or the camera. I don't know which. Kent chicks stir now and then. Maybe they'll be getting their dinner soon. Oh geez, both back to sleep again.
The parent's visit at Two Harbors was a short one, but the chicks seem to be waiting for more grub. Oh now one has settled back down.
Well it is getting late. I want to take one last look at the storks and then head out. Hope you all have a pleasant evening and a beautiful sunrise tomorrow.
Good morning Suzanne. Thanks for the pics. I still enjoy seeing our eagles.
BBT
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE...TTYT!
I have read this evening's comments because I did have a very late return. So late that I am calling it a day.
Good Night Everyone
Good Morning Suzanne
Good Moring Suzanne too. I am going to bed. I really depend on you. You are really appreciated.Hugs.
EVERYONE, GOOD NIGHT, SLEEP WELL/GOOD MORNING TO A GREAT WEDNESDAY....
June 6th is the anniversary of
D-Day. Let's thank God for the success of those brave men, who took the beaches in Normandy, and who contributed so much to the Allies' victory and to our freedom.
Jim
OMG, no sooner said than done! One in nest as we speak!!!
Think both in nest now!
Couldn't tell if it was both, maybe just the one, turned around. No, it IS both!
Ok, take that back. Only 1, think it may be Belle but wouldn't swear to it, and the other "white" I'm seeing is leaves in the nest. Still there, standing in Belle's spot.
She's turned around looking behind her...has that glowing eye now.
Still there, facing 5ish. Geesh, no now head down but head toward 2ish.
LIB JUST ARRIVED, BOTH IN NEST!!!
They were talking, but now Lib is up by his perch, Belle by her tree.
Osprey cam has a drop of rain on it, and the light is shining on it. Looks wierd.
Both Lib and Belle still there, in their normal positions.
Both are looking to the right, past the tree. Something got their attention.
Hum, still looking, but now Lib is also facing his body that way.
Cutie pie Lib looking up at cam!
Lib moved over by Belle at the tree.
Cool pic, leaves are blowing and framing the nest, and both are in nest. Lib moved over towards center, Belle still by tree.
Both still there. It's raining in BW, raindrops on osprey cam. Oh, eaglet in BW nest!
Both looking off at 5 o'clock. No, now Belle looking at Lib.
Getting daylight out. Both still just standing there looking around. Belle by tree, Lib in nest by right hand perch. Now they moved, Belle facing in the nest. Leaves blowing.
Uh oh, Lib is now getting on perch, Belle watching from center of nest.
Lib now on perch, facing in, Belle still in nest. Both looking off to your left.
Ok, Belle is gonna rearrange the furniture and Lib is supervising.
Had lines, but refresh worked. Belle just standing now, both just looked off to about 2 o'clock.
Lib back on perch facing out, Belle still in nest.
This is too funny! Ok, now Lib is rearranging his perch, Belle is supervising.
Getting those little black half lines again. But both are now just standing. Ok, better pic now. Lib on perch facing 2, Belle in nest facing 7ish.
Oh, both looking off to your left now.
BW eaglet left, and osprey cam is very fuzzy.
Both still there just hanging out. Lib on perch, Belle in nest.
Lib looks like he's fluffing up his neck feathers, he must feel good. Belle just standing around. He's looking at Belle, Belle is looking off at 5ish.
Belle moved over to launch pad, Lib watching her. They've been here about a half hour! Well, dang, there went Belle. Lib still on his perch.
Dang, there went Lib. Nice visit this morning!!
Brrr, was just outside, it's cooled off. It also must have really rained between 4 and now, streets are all wet. They were dry when I came in.
Osprey has arrived in BW osprey nest.
PA falcons are strolling on the ledge. they FINALLY have the banding results on the website:
6/4/2007 :: Nestling Update
Results from the banding event are as follows: Female- Red Band, Female- Blue Band, Male- Green Band and Male- Yellow band.
Osprey left, didn't see him leave.
Lib and Belle pics went out a sec ago. There are a lot of them, fair warning.
GOOD MORNING SUZ--
I got up this morning early enough to see Belle & Lib visiting.
Practicing.
I'm glad you got to see Lib and Belle this morning!
Our cam is getting horrible again. Sure glad it waited until after Lib and Belle were here.
OH SOMEONE IN NEST!!!
COFFEE TIME--Talk to you later.
WEAGLE ALERT CCOSTUME LADY!!!
Looks like there are is a new branch with a lot of leaves. Wonder if they'd like to come and get the leaves that are blowing in front of the cam.
There goes the pic again!
Dang, hard to get a good pic!
CostumeLady, I sure hope you're still around just watching! Think this may be Liberty, but only cause he brought the branch in, and moved by his perch.
Still standing on the perch, but not at the top.
Beautiful pic now, sun coming up. Uh oh, Lib on top of perch now.
Lib still there. Getting those little black lines again.
Lib watching the sunrise on his perch!
Lib still there looking around. Osprey back in BW nest, but cam is very fuzzy.
Lib now facing into nest.
Well, dang, Lib gone.
Our nest is very pretty! Sun coming up, it's beautiful. Had an eaglet visitor in BW, but gone next refresh. Fuzzy osprey also gone. Falcons are sunning themselves on the ledge.
Good morning Suzanne and Costume Lady. Looks like another beautiful day in the making. We had a good thunder storm early this am and all is wet.
Hooray!
May all of you have a super day and enjoy the birds. BBL
Candy
Morning, Candy! Sorry you missed Lib's second visit. He didn't stay very long the 2nd time. Hope CostumeLady got to see it, but she was gonna get coffee.
I know you're anxious to get a summer break! I sure would be! Hope you have a wonderful day.
GOOD MORNING BEACHMOM--
Had coffee with my husband this morning. He doesn't usually get up when I do, so I have coffee with Suz. Gotta get him when I can!
SUZ-do you know they are taking Mrs Loon's egg away today? She is sitting there right now looking so hopeful with the sun rising on her. So sad.
Parent and eaglet showed up in BW nest with food. Parent left, eaglet mantled when sibling arrived. He's not sharing! Both in nest.
Ahhh, that's too bad, CostumeLady. I was hoping it would hatch. Bless her heart, poor thing.
Bw eaglets putting on a mantling show!
Daylight in Kent. Well, almost.
Adult bluebird in bluebird nest!
GOOD A.M. EAGLE BUDDIES!!!!---I have Study Group & then lunch!!----W/check in this afternoon----STAY COOL!----REMEMBER D-DAY--6th of June!!-----W/take LOON EGG to study today at 2:00--CDT---Later!!
Good morning everyone. I saw this happening you know. Going a little Looney in here. Seems like you all have arrived now though. :)
Well enjoy your day watching the birds and the pandas. Wherever your surfin may lead.
Suzanne So nice to be a ble to start the day with Lib and Belle. Thank you once again.
