Mrs. B is back on her nest. Still no breakfast at Kent; Babes have gone back to sleep. Tai is still draped over a log and looking very bored (wind is blowing quite a bit there)
In case you didn't know, a transmitter went out on the West End Nest on Catalina. Unless the one part they have will fix it, that nest will be down for the rest of the season :( However, if that happens, Dr Sharpe will post video from the cam. The cam is working, the problem is getting the signal back to the web.
GOOD MORNING PAULA-- Glad someone else is tuning in--I have been talking to myself for sometime now. Still no breakfast for eaglets in Kent. No breakfast for Pandas. 3 sleeping owls (can't see #4) Mrs. B asleep on eggs. No one seems to want breakfast but me, so I am outta here. Later
I'm sure not an early bird - Thanks for the new thread, Steve. Glad you saw our pair this am, Candy. The leaves really are blocking our view of our nest - but are making a pretty frame. Daughter is coming to pick me up There are things to be done for grandson's wedding on 7-7-7. Just like Paula, I need a cool dry weather prayer for that date as the wedding is outside. Wanda - Thanks ahead of time! I know you are going to watch MsB and get a shot of the 1st hatch! Pancakes - Robyn? Yummy!
07/07/07 - That is the popular wedding date for this year! My girlfriend is getting married on that date too. Indoor wedding. But I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for good weather on that date for all the brides and grooms!
Cool, I didn't know it was Aaron getting married. Hmmm, I know of another couple doing the same thing...wonder if it is the same couple? Or if everyone had to add in the 7pm on top of it.
I just checked in on BW and there was no eagles and one osprey. Kent chicks are sitting side by side with no indication that they had any trouble sharing their food yesterday. :)
Richmond babyes are resting with their mother. Finland Mom is still hovering over her chicks.
Parent Kestral just came back to babies. Can't see a thing as she is over them. I see 3 barn owls sleeping away after having a night out on the town. ;)
I wish I had seen the chicken brought into the Kent nest for munching on. Amazing that they are fair game; plus all the fewther picking etc. It must have been something to watch.
CANDY-- I have my Grandson this weekend and I have to get away from this puter and spend some time with him. Take pics of Mrs. B's babies if they hatch while I'm gone. BBL
GOOD AFTERNOON EAGLE BUDDIES!!!!--WANDA---PAULA--CANDY---ROBYNANN---MEMA JO---& JIM----I was a LURKER this a.m. before I went to market!!!---Just saw a REBEL in the tree---MOMMA FALCON at RICHMOND-HIGH RISE has her back to us now---this a.m. I saw the 2 CHICKS & DAD for a moment---CHECKED the STORKS & FINLAND OSPREYS----Isn't that a GREAT nest!!!
GOOD AFTERNOON NORMA--(and JIM) Norma, I wish I could get some Snow Peas to you. I have so many I will have to freeze them. I have my Grandson this weekend and he doesn't like peas, but loves salad; so I chop up the peas and put them in his salad and he doesn't know the difference from the lettuce. Gotta get rid of them some way! I love being a Grandma.
HI WANDA---I love to tease you about the SNOWPEAS!!---ho!----I LOVE being a GRANNY too!!---I let mine do what ever the want---Enjoy spoiling them!!!---Read this morning that you said the "EARLY BIRD GETS THE WORM"----REMEMBER---We want SUZANNE to get the WORM!!------

I have been watching IWS---#63 is rearranging the sticks & twigs in his nest!!!!----Must be planning to STAY--ho! or to coming back & staying with MOM & DAD!!!!----hard to be all alone----A FAVORITE!!!----"He certainly didn't go quietly into the bag"----But reading the comments of the men who climb up & bring them down----It isn't all fun!!--- Been reading comments, etc. IWS---Lots of info---& most interesting topics!!!!
JIM-- I guess squabbling among wildlife is a part of learning survival. The one lone eagle, (I think it is Puget Sound) won't have the opportunity to learn that lesson. I wonder how much of a difference that will make.
NORMA-- That is a beautiful shot of Mrs. Fin. I posted a photo to the Monsters Album last week of the same shot, but with Mom, Dad & Chick. I love that photo.
I know I need a break---I have begun to repeat myself---ho!--Still need to find out how it is or who it is that decides the OWLS are ready to be on their own!!!!---LUNCH---LATER!!

GOOD MORNING ALL, HAVE A GOOD SATURDAY Great running commentary this a.m. Candy and Wanda.
Mrs B is on and off the eggs this a.m. the one in the middle may have a little peccking going on.
07/07/07 - That is the popular wedding date for this year! My girlfriend is getting married on that date too. Indoor wedding. But I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for good weather on that date for all the brides and grooms!
Paula, not only is Aaron getting married on 7/7/07, he is getting married at 7:00p.m.:)
I feel certain Mrs. B's eggs are hatching--she has been constantly moving her head for about 5 min.
Cool, I didn't know it was Aaron getting married. Hmmm, I know of another couple doing the same thing...wonder if it is the same couple? Or if everyone had to add in the 7pm on top of it.
Nice closeup at VA!!
Wow! Another Momster Family wedding. Hope we get to see photos posted like Paula's Son's wedding.
LOVE weddings.
Goodmorning again Wanda, and welcome Mits, Jo, Paula and Robynann. Just got myself back and going again from being up so early this morning.
Looks like the lucky 7's are popping up in July. We'll pray for sunny weather for both; not too hot, just sunny.
Awwww 5 eggs still in Mrs. B's nest. :(
I just checked in on BW and there was no eagles and one osprey. Kent chicks are sitting side by side with no indication that they had any trouble sharing their food yesterday. :)

Ms. B has left her eggs for awhile now and I don't see any signs of cracking yet. They are beautiful and shiny.....all 5 of them.
I wish I had seen the chicken brought into the Kent nest for munching on. Amazing that they are fair game; plus all the fewther picking etc. It must have been something to watch.
CANDY--

Ms. B does seem fidgety this morning. You are right Wanda. She can't seem to sit still or in one position for very long.
Paula, that was a nice close up of a Norflok baby but now the camera has pulled back to look at the nest and the baby sitting on the branch.
Eyes on the B nest. She keeps looking down a lot. Maybe she knows something we don't.
Kent eaglets look as if they are getting ansy. One is wing flapping now.
Mrs. B is up and looking over her eggs again. Does anyone see a hole in the lower right egg or is that a piece of nest?
Sorry, I guess it is a piece of the nest.
Well, my eyes are getting buggy again from focusing on the eggs. Think I'll take a break for awhile. BB
A VERY GOOD SATURDAY MORNING TO YOU ALL-----
I checked a couple of nests on the way to the blog...
At Norfolk, there are a couple of eaglets in the nest, feeding, now.
Not much at Black Water right now.
The Kent eaglets are standing upright and looking like adult eagles more each day.
Hope you're having a great, healthy weekend thus far.
Jim
Have you been checking the Kestrel and chicks in NY??
They are very young and should be interesting to watch.
The Momma is in the box warming them after a meal.
Jim
Enjoy the cams today..
I'll try to drop back in when you are here..

Hi yourselves, Norma, Wanda...
I looked at the remainder of yesterday's blog and checked out Paula's Osprey banding videos. Great stuff, Paula.
Probably should concentrate on some maintenance around here.
Take care, friends.
