Freedom flight for Momma. And she joined up with her mate! ❤️ Thank you Hog Capitol Wildlife Rescue and Rehab 8/17/24
While releasing momma (Aphrodite), dad was flying around over head. They were talking the whole time from the time she came out of the carrier and while she was sitting in the tree. They then both flew off together, did some aerial maneuvers and then flew off soaring high above. Was a magical release for this beautiful bird. She flew strong, hard and high! ❤️🦅
Update: no fractures located on Aphrodite. Her tail is not functioning, could be a pinched nerve, but she’s starting to stand (wobbly but nonetheless standing)and she eats well. Keep praying folks, it’s helping. ❤️🦅
