Hi all! Thanks Steve for the new thread and thanks Glo for the call over.

Glo, how is the little escape artist this morning?

Back to work - doing IEP updates for 3rd marking period. Have the live feed on while I'm working.

Good morning!

Gracious sakes, look at those three little eagles. All alone in the nest right now.

Eagle in. I think that fish on the edge of the cup just got delivered. Parent is chomping on it. All of the babies are active.

stronghunter said...

Feeding at the nest. Yummy fresh fish for breakfast.

stronghunter said...

All three little ones are lined up for food.

stronghunter said...

Little one needs some help. Is under the others now.

stronghunter said...

Both parents now in nest.

stronghunter said...

Second parent to arrive (Belle?) is now doing the feeding. Little one got a small bit of food.

stronghunter said...

Littlest baby is getting fed!

Thanks Glo for starting our day off

I still have my bark - woof!

Grocery day for Easter meal.
Going with a ham.

Easter week and it is already Holy Thursday - Such a blessed time in our Church's calendar........

The weather is great this am.....
55° at the nest and it could get up to 70°.

The robins are all over my yard. I have also had female woodpeckers down at the suet holder.

Good afternoon.

Three little eaglets all in a row, Enjoying the sunshine,
Not missing the snow!

Thank you Steve for the fresh sunshiny thread.

Congratulations Glo on the feather. A play toy for Patches?

Enjoy the first day of your days away from kids, Sandi.

The new lady at Loch of the Lowes seems to be settling in. Isla may yet return but not likely. Sad but she lived a very long life (29 years) and fledged 50+ osprey babes.

Jo, happy ham hunting.

Off to forage. Lovely day to be out.

Little Bit taking up for himself
Fight - and he started it
lol

I still think he needs more food !

stronghunter said...

Parent trying to corral the babies. Not easy. They keep sneaking out.

glo said...

Patches is doing really well. Went for a wellness visit today to meet her new vet. She hasn't escaped lately but then she is only confined when I can't watch her closely and actually she seems to be catching on to pottying outside. Chicken treats seem to help that thought process. :-)Kitties also seem to be more comfortable around her than of course when she first came home. She would like to play with them, but they of course do not like that idea.

stronghunter said...

Nice to know Patches is doing so well, Glo. Sounds like you are doing a beautiful job of helping her learn.

grannyblt said...

Good afternoon. Just watched parent rearranging fluff and trying to corral those wiggly bodies. Everything looks good on the eagles nest.

paula eagleholic said...

One passed out, out of the cup. The other two are in the cup. Looks like feeding just finished.

stronghunter said...

Wow, the nest is shaking in all of that wind.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Good afternoon my eagle budlets. I see Little Bit is eating now! Woot!

Barbara said...

LB (Little Bit or Little Bobblehead) definitely gets fed. Look at the difference in the size -- I'm sure that LB needs less than the bigger ones. That won't last for long! But the pantry is looking lean... Yo, Daddy-O -- time to go fishing!!!!

stronghunter said...

Barbara, I think there is quite a bit of food buried in the fluff.

Kay said...

Good Afternoon Eagle Buds!!!

Thanks to STEVE and GLO---good job!!!

Squeezing in quickly between storms. Lots of rain, high winds, lightening and thunder this a.m. and another one rolling in out of Indiana soon.

Love the eaglet progress reports!

Prayers for all in need!!!

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

paula eagleholic said...

I think we are going to get your storms tomorrow, Kay!

At least 50% of the time I head up the road...seems it's raining.

Parent just left and landed above the cam

paula eagleholic said...

Looks like 3 chicks in food comas...

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

The 2 older ones are getting fed at teh 4-5 o'clock position. Little Bit is still in the cup.

Judie said...

Good afternoon.

Arrived home. Foraging done.

Checked on the eaglets. All basking in the sun with mom/dad watching over. Looks for sure as if the oldest is going to be an adventurer. Must send an email to remind Belle and Shep to add additions to the crib rails.

Glo, glad Patches is adjusting so nicely. Happy dance!

Shirley, how's the shoulder? Improved? Hope so.

Hope everyone is doing well.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

ME just took a little taste of Belle's? tail. FE and ME are still at 4 o'clock position and Little Bit is getting the cup dug deeper around it.

stronghunter said...

out Just witnessed a knock-down-drag-out battle between the two oldest chicks. Big one won that one.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

It was just reported on the news that Noah Thomas, the little boy who was missing for 5 days and found in a sewage tank, in Dublin, Virginia, was killed by his parents.

Mema Jo said...

PULASKI, Va. -- The parents of the Pulaski County boy, Noah, who was found dead last week in a septic tank have been arrested.

Ashley White, 30, and Paul Thomas, 32, have been charged. Thomas and White are charged with two counts of abuse and neglect of children. They are being held in the New River jail

stronghunter said...

Belle, please feed that little one while the others are flopped. Looks like one of the biggies is sleeping--nope, not quite.

stronghunter said...

Sad news, Sharon and Jo.

stronghunter said...

Hunter has a scrimmage baseball game today.

Bowling has been interesting. We lost three games on Tuesday, but so did the team in first place, so we are still just 1/2 game behind them. Season is almost over. Time will tell. I hope it doesn't end with a tie that has to be broken the way it did last year. Exciting, but stressful.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

At some point, their 6-month-old daughter was removed from the home. They are accused of abuse and neglect of her too. One of their neighbors said early on that he had probably gotten into their dope and overdosed, and they hid his body. I pray that little darling was not still alive when he went into the sewage.

paula eagleholic said...

I thought his crop looked pretty full, Shirley.

How awful for that little boy. I just don't know what is wrong with people. Have we lost our conscience?

stronghunter said...

How old was the boy, Sharon?

paula eagleholic said...

Aha, so the police were looking very closely at the parents...glad they did.

paula eagleholic said...

He was just 5 Shirley

stronghunter said...

You have sharp eyes, Paula. I did not notice the little one's crop.

stronghunter said...

Oh dear. So young. Hard to hear. Some people really should not be parents.

stronghunter said...

The babies all look very sleepy there in the sunshine. There really is a difference in size there.

stronghunter said...

Need to get ready for baseball. I am not 100% sure about the best way to get to the field this time. Been there, but it was last season.

BBL.

paula eagleholic said...

Hmm, I have a really old version of flash player on my computer...that might be the IE issue...

stronghunter said...

Last season, Hunter told me he knew the way, but when I pulled out of the driveway, he said, "Do you know the first part? I will know when we get there." Fortunately, I had it covered. :)

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Have we ever had that big of a difference in the size of the eaglets?

paula eagleholic said...

I don't know Sharon,...does seem to be a bigger difference than I remember.

Was our hatch difference 6 days?

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

3/22, 3/24 and 3/27 were the hatch dates.

Sandi said...

Hi all - I AM ON SPRING BREAK!!!

Stopped at the accountant's office to sign our tax return and indeed, we are getting a HUGE refund b/c we WAY overpaid in quarterly taxes in 2014. So, it seems I will not have 1 odd stainless steel appliance for long! New refrigerator, range (will be switching to a gas so that will increase the price to have the gas line run) and microwave will be on their way soon. I'm wondering if I can find someone who might want a 2nd refrigerator/freezer since ours still works fine and we already have a 2nd one. I'd hate to just send it to where the shiny green garland takes the broken appliances!

The wind is really rockin' the nest this afternoon. Poor Little Bit, all alone in the egg cup, but at least s/he doesn't get bonked in the head there!

Shep just arrived with another fish - whatta dad!

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Really fresh fish delivery.

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Well, I think that was the tiniest little poop shoot I have ever seen.

paula eagleholic said...

Shep is back...oh lord is that a snake he brought back..oh no it's not...just the way he had the fish laying in the nest...LOL

Sandi said...

YAY - Belle is feeding First and Middle and Shep is feeding Little Bit! How perfect is that?!

paula eagleholic said...

Aw, Shep gonna geed the little guy some of that really fresh fish!

paula eagleholic said...

Just about food coma time for the other 2

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

And Little Bit is getting fed from that fresh fish. :) Uh-oh, the other 2 just caught on. Then they turned back to Belle (I think) who is continuing to feed them.

Barbara said...

You can see that there is a small area that was the original egg cup and that's where LB flops. The rest of it has been remodeled into a playpen, so the older ones are hanging out there more. It will be interesting to see what they do in the rain!

paula eagleholic said...

Now Belle is feeding the baby

paula eagleholic said...

LOL...middle one literally just rolled into the cup!!

paula eagleholic said...

Like a kid rolling down a hill!

paula eagleholic said...

Shep is eating at the pantry area

paula eagleholic said...

Belle eating now too

paula eagleholic said...

Now giving the 2 in the cup a couple more bites.

paula eagleholic said...

I think Belle just left

Heading home, catch ya later!

JudyEddy said...

Sandperson is almost packed. Departing soon.

Restful sleep for all.

Back from Hunter's baseball scrimmage. They had to stop playing because it got too dark. The field wasn't lighted.

This is the video from Terri on FB Eagle Cam site of the last feeding
this evening. All 3 are in the egg cup but the 2 older are sleeping and not asking for food. Therefore; our little one get a very filled crop - be sure to look for it...... ♥

Mema Jo said...

Sandi - congrats on your refund and
your new appliances will really make your newly furnished kitchen SHINE

Mema Jo said...

I am going to eat an Apple DANISH
from Arby's and call it a day.

Did our little Robot dance for anyone today? Perhaps if he didn't, it was just a gimmick for April Fool's day.

Goodnight to all ♥
Waiting for the rain - it was a beautiful day.

Janet said...

good evening to all..........

its been a day!

yesterday was my 6 year anniversary @ massage envy. today I had my annual review. it went well. next year I will top out at the pay scale, but they are now offering new incentives to stay on. they will pay a good amount of my continuing education costs! :) :) :) I like that.

been wrestling with Olivia's allergy stuff. she got her first injections last Thursday. I signed the form to have the serum transferred to our regular dr office (convenience). somehow or other between the two offices, one fax keeps getting lost in fax space, maybe the green garland grabbed it? perhaps jufie is a foot...I don't know, but as of this morning, the meds were still not at the doctor's office where I wanted it! hmmmm

so I went by, grabbed the form the allergist needed, picked up Olivia, went to the allergist office, she got her injection and I dropped off the form! they assure me that it will be there by next Thursday. sheesh I hope so.

glad SANDI is on break!

Hope all celebrating this weekend have a joyous, lovely and meaningful weekend!

Thunderstorms moving in tomorrow. Supposedly strong to severe...yuck.

good night all. I am tired!

stronghunter said...

Must sleep. See you tomorrow. SED.
