Hi Jo, I use my desktop computer. Alt 3 is a heart for me also. Num Lock has to be on.
See there is sunbathing at the Sycamore. Looks like Prez.
Hi Loweeeda!
Isla has produced a third egg.
Giraffes at Pete's Pond this morning.
We have one dogwood in bloom. The Yoshino cheery has blossomed and now has green leaves.
Repackaged some meats so they stay safe for the next two/three days. Cooked chicken ahead for stir fry. Got greens washed for salads. Gee, I've been busy doing the Lollypalooza thing.
Gee, thank you all for the birthday wishes, but my birthday was in September. The years go by fast enough! LOL. I don't know how it got on the calendar . I rarely go to the Yahoo site. I will go there shortly to remove.
SANDI. My Mom had a will that had to be probated. We couldn't do much legally until that was done. Then there was the matter of the estate taxes for Pennsylvania. The delay came when a company she had done business with--and I was unaware of-- sent a $2000 refund check that we had to let the state know about so we could pay more taxes. As executrix, I was able to disburse most of the funds a year or so ago. I'm waiting for the $4.70 refund from the state. The lawyer got his 5% of the estate's value. Maryland may have entirely different laws, and your situation may be entirely different than mine. When my husband died in Texas, I had to have the will probated but everything else was much easier because I was a surviving spouse.
I went to the Eagle Momsters calendar on Yahoo and didn't see my name for today. It is, however Dianne O'Donnell's birthday. My mind as a blank as to her screen name.
I see its 67° at the nest and Capt is plotzed in the cup area I see his little head and Prez is standind at 10 must be looking out at the world I see his talon and his butt
I want to go see the cell phone tower eagle soooo bad But with my neck I dare not go
SO SAD the thing I love the most Hurts my neck the most I bought a reclining lawn chair to use when I go now this way can lean back with out lots of neck issues I usually put on my neck brace when I go just as a reminder not to look up so much which is almost impossible with the cell phone don't ya think
Glo posted picture of the nest she watches the eagle had a duck and the duck had a egg in her Now the duck egg is in the cup I hope its not fertilized that would be odd
PREZ is peeping because Capt is plotzed not unless he is dreaming but he sound so sweet long squeaking peeps I see cam shake I wonder if that is why he is peeping
Went to the mall and got new stainless steel flatware and some new clothes. Now I am very tired.
Hunter's team lost by one run. Kathryn said the game was very exciting and Hunter did well. She watched lots of people jumping our of airplanes. She figures that they must land on the baseball field sometimes. Interesting.
Sorry about the one-run loss, Shirley but hope the kids had fun ! Good on you...you accomplished a lot today Glad you finally got your medicines, mine came in the mail today and yesterday.
My sister and I were co-executors and administrators of our parents' estates, things went pretty smoothly.

JudyE, so aggravating about the work situation. Always remember the support of the disabilities act and the "mention" of legal representation.
Happy Hunter enjoyed the game. Ah socks - I have not yet consigned my winter clothes to the dry cleaner/closet. Still a bit too chilly for summer things.
Kathryn brought home a box of Fancy Feast cans. I hope he will be okay with that. He has gotten kind of picky lately. That does not mean he does not beg.
It sounds like a good day for everyone. Blessed Be.
Happy Easter to everyone. My college room mate from Whitefish Montana comes up to Canada tomorrow. Plan some hikes, some bicycle rides, visits and cooking. She will leave on Thursday. I am looking forward to the visit.

Good morning and Happy Easter to all. Been relaxing some this morning. Got some yardwork done yesterday. Watched the Cam some and see Captain and Prez are growing. Happy Late Birthday to Lynne/grannybit. I have been keeping up on nest with Facebbok and JudyE and Jo's updates. We had another co-worker leave yesterday...not sure about extra work...and got Monday off. Enjoyed my golf day last Monday - did not score well but hadn't been out since late Oct/early Nov. Jo if we play Hollow Creek again this year I'll keep an eye out. We went there two times last year. Really nice course but a little too hard for me.Sandi - hope you can get your Mom's stuff squared away easier. With Rhonda's Mom, she had no assets and Rhonda had her checkbook but it was spent down paying her last few bills before her passing. She was beneficiary of a Life Insurance Policy but the funeral home handled paperwork and she only needed to sign some papers here and there. Sounds like you done well so far though. Take care all. Hope to finally get fishing licenses soon and get out. Take care all and enjoy this Easter Sunday.
Had a fun day with kids and gkids yesterday. Took the kids to a big park with cool play equipment . Cooked burger and chicken on the grill last night. Easter dinner buffet at 12.30.
I am still working on my moms estate ...its been 5 years...hope to have it done here soon .
And Sandi....special ((HUGS)), prayers and positive thoughts for you....Hope the time with children later will be uplifting.... We have you encircled with Momster and Dadster Love xo
I've been trying to load up Bunny in Bibs, the dear avatar that Lynne1 sent me a few Easters back and Paula up-sized for me, just not sure which flash drive it's on and it is tough to sort it out on this laptop....
but I might get it on here before the "Easter Season" is over.
Shirley: Easter Parade was made in 1948!
Best Wishes to Everyone for fun times with yourself, or family today...
I'll be down in Shepherdstown again this afternoon by the River and will keep my peepers peeled for any and all Eagles... there are also Ospreys sighted down there....
ON lunch and have read back already been on FB and seeing if the egg is still in he MNBound nest so far I haven't seen it yet on lunch I have told so many people about it and they all are curious about it also
our nest looks mt but I know they are there
SHIRLEY so far no neck pain because I am taking it easy and doing things I know won't hurt my neck and tough if they don't like it
Had a wonderful holiday weekend culminating with brunch here before Eileen and Bill departed for Michigan. Penny and I are plumb tuckered out and heading to bed for a nap soon !
Here's hoping you've all had a beautiful weekend as well---I'll have to spend some time catching up, but just a quick scan of today's posts tells me all is well with most of you.
SANDI, the first holidays after a loss are very difficult. Prayers are with you as you continue to sort of the details of your Mom's life. It will get easier, I promise you---thinking of you, Wanda and my friends Marty and Shirley as you're all copeing with sadness and change at the very same time.
I talked to Joplin Shirley this afternoon. Her poor DIL lost her father to cancer last Tuesday. It was not unexpected, but made even harder since it followed Gary's passing by just nine days. Their family on both sides is dwindling all too fast, very sad. Prayers appreciated.
Will try to get back later--if not today than tomorrow.....
Oh, and JUDYE, I meant to say, sorry you had to work today, but glad you're being sensible about what kind of motion of movement you're allowing yourself. You have lots of reasons to look after yourself---WalMart is only motivated by the almighty dollar. Shame on em' !

lol Know what you mean, Kay. We are plumb tuckered out here, too. We had fun yesterday evening with everyone here. Had a delicious...beef tenderloin that I marinated for a day and Jack cooked on the grill, roasted potatoes, fresh green beans, deviled eggs, tossed salad and bread pudding with choice of praline sauce or brandy sauce or both!!LOL So, in the dark we hid 75 eggs outside. Had a great hunt this morning, pancake breakfast then headed to church. All are gone now and Jack is sawing logs!!
Shep is eating he brought the fish in with the multi cam I just saw Belle in NHZ reach and get the fresh fish and he is eating the other family dinner just can't see all
Thank you, Jo! I love it when I can get the whole family together! It is so good for Zach. He has so much for with everyone. They left right after church and he wanted to stay with me. Warmed my heart!!
Laurel is getting rain, so far it has missed us. Jack says I am doing something wrong! Sigh.....
Jack sounds like my dad Lolly which his name was Jack also and he would always tell mom the same thing memories such a good thing to have on days like today seeing all the pic on FB of family gatherings was nice sure can't wait till I can have them when I retire
Sitting here relaxing with Rus. Will has gone down to his room.
We have had a nice day. Will, Rus, and I had dinner at Bonefish Grill. Rus said he was surprised when he found out were going to a restaurant. Kathryn, Hunter, and Luna went to the Skyline Drive and maybe were going to stop at his other grandparents' place. Susan is off gallivanting on a sailboat. May come next weekend.
good Sunday evening to one and to all. It has been a busy weekend! Olivia spent Friday and Saturday nights at Chelsea’s house so we had the house, upstairs anyway, to ourselves.
Yesterday was full with groceries, yard work. I picked up pork loin at publix, it was stuffed with fresh spinach and cheese. I cooked that for dinner last night with a piece of garlic toast. Nice dinner for just the two of us! <3 We went to drum circle, which was small, but nice. Then we went out for a few hours, dancing and such. Kind of an early anniversary celebration.
Today we slept til 9 Tom helped me get ready for the kids to come over. I made banana pudding, he made the stuffed manicotti, and we did everything else together. How much better does it get?
The day was beautiful. Had fun grilling and spending time with the young ens. We took Scout and Seven for a 30 min walk tonight. That was nice.
Back to it tomorrow. Fairly busy week ahead, as per the norm.
JUDYE: take care of you. You are the only one with your best interest at heart, you KNOW wally world doesn’t. SANDI: holidays are a bear…the first year or so. Still tough sometimes. Today was a year ago that we had mom and dad’s place auctioned. It was tough on one level and joyful on another. Joyful because we were finally fulfilling their wishes…..tough because it was a final goodbye, not only to the property, but to someone who is my sister. She will still communicate on occasion with JUDYE:, and it is sad, but I don’t miss the lies and drama in my life. I wish her well. But I guess what I’m saying, be thankful you and your sister are on the same page with things. Hold each other close and hold close to your dear memories. It WILL get better.
I tried the F and # thing, doesn't seem to work on this computer.... hmmmm...
bah humbug! I hope everyone enjoyed a lovely day and some time with loved ones. Light love, hugs and smiles to each of you. Blessed Be.
I think the sandperson got Rus and me this afternoon. We both snoozed away for quite awhile. Will was busy cleaning out his car. He has a date on Tuesday.
WHO saw a WHAT???????? Speak to me not of this. I cannot think about it today, I'll think about it tomorrow.
Very nice visit with MIL and hubby. She got me a key ring. It has a BEAR on it. What a sense of humour that woman has.
She said NO REDBUDS to be seen on the way down!! Not sure if just not blooming, or if that last storm we had wiped the buds out.
My accomplishments this weekend included, but were not limited to: tearing a hole in my new jeans, sitting on a camp chair and breaking it, spilling the green egg dye all over the table, twisting my knee into a useless joint. Can I celebrate a holiday or what.
Judy.....Walmart.....Don't get me started. YOU take care of YOU.
Sandi, thinking of you, and will pray for you as you go through this year of "firsts" without your mom.
Prayers again for Joplin Shirley.
Sounds like overall it has been a joyous day for everyone!
Going to hit the hay. Tomorrow will be a nightmare at work, no doubt.

Happy Easter Evening!! Hope Everyone had a good day! We had a nice ham dinner and I definitely had to color eggs as Fubby has been buying mass quantities at BJs!!! Count was 3 dozen! (I don't eat them) BTW, did some reading here in early afternoon before KP and see that we confused a B'Day. Late HAPPY BIRTHDAY GREETINGS TO PANANA! . Either way, ALL Nanas should have good wishes!
Just missed you, Lynne2, and will search for the secret message about someone seeing something! ☺ And you MUST slow down and take good care of yourself.
JudyE, you have all my sympathy and will fwd. my anger for you to direct at some of your supervisors! Been going thru some similar circumstances. Have to use 1/2 my body weight pushing down the grommet machine handle for edges of the vinyl banners we make at exhibit shop. According to surgeons, you are not supposed to do anything over 20 lbs. with a limb on the side of lymph gland removal from BR CA. I think 1/2 of me is more than 20 lbs.I don't do any push up type exercises when taking fitness class. When another person is at shop, they offer to do it, but I hate to leave things undone. In fact, need to go in in AM to finish just that job. Sometimes Fubby goes with me when no one is there. I can't afford to be lax in any of my duties, as I've already been knocked out of the Park for one day a week~~~~~not because I'm incompetent, but I make TOO MUCH $$ an hour!!!! Our wonderful acting director naturalist interceded and she was able to save me one day a week there. Duh, only make a hair more than McDonalds! There are a lot of new big wheels (who just go around in circles) and spend money on sending the entire Commission employees goofy Xmas cards showing them on front in red costumes slam-dunking basketballs!!! Now that's real professional! Enough of that~~it's been a couple months. Jo, that is why I don't know a lot about what's happening to our ospreys. But I do frequently email Greg about their status. Will get to watch them all day TU on bigger screen and get any info.
Prayers for Good Health and Peace of Mind for All, & Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Stopping in to say goodnight. How can two people talk and laugh for hours on end!!! Both of us are quiet people!!! Not tonight...hours on end! Gracious me. We ate and we talked. Tomorrow extra hiking time for sure. Eat less please: Note to self!!! We will hike, Kristin agreed to come volunteer at the meditation centre, then we will go to Yoga. She is comfortable in her room. A room full of windows facing the lake and the woods. She chose it because she likes the Canadian Wilderness.
good morning to all. a beautiful a.m. here in Nashville! its been in the 80's here....and oops a "cold" front, only in the 70's for the next couple of days. I can handle that. some rain too. mother earth will be happy!
I watered for the first time this season last night. just was a little dry.
it was such a lovely day yesterday. I loved the togetherness. it is so nice having the kids over. love watching the grands play and laugh. Olivia was over tired from the weekend. she was easily moved to tears (sure sign, and of hormones as well...sigh). she fell asleep mid afternoon and slept for a long while. could tell she had skipped her allergy meds too, her nose was kicking.
back to work today. its gonna be a great day!
light, love, hugs and smiles to all! give everyone in your path and extra smile today, you never know who may need one!
Goodorming my eagle friends. I see 2 eaglets snuggled together in the egg cup, heads to tails.
Sounds like everyone had a nice Easter - I'm happy to hear that. Thanks for all of the encouraging words for me yesterday.
I think I would have been fine if we were just spending our first Easter without Mom. It was doing the final clean-out of her place on Saturday, and then Denny being in WV with Lynnis and Lisa taking Madeline skating while I spent several hours there by myself, and then waking up yesterday morning and seeing the place looking so generic, with all of Mom's touches to it gone, the closet in her bedroom empty, and all of her most treasured things in totes by the door - THAT'S what put me over the edge. When I drive back there on 5/4 for settlement on 5/5, I have decided I'll jst stay at Lisa's - I won't be able to sleep at the condo again.
Hoda, I'm glad you are enjoying your time with your friend - laughing and eating are good things! :)
I think I will do a whole lot of nothing today, just because I can.
SHIRLEY SANDI is the one doing a whole lot of nothing. Good decision on staying at your sister's next time SANDI. Doing a whole lot of nothing is Grand.
Slept well. Active day sharing with Kristin. Will check in in the evening I hope. Enjoy your day you all.
Sounds like you and Jack have plenty of yard work ahead, Lolly. I am sure you will have the lawn all fixed up very soon.
Loretta--I do not remember the part about the weight limitations for those who've had lymph glands removed. I went for a long time having blood pressure taken on the other arm as well as all of the other stuff--no needles in that arm, etc. Now they say it is okay, but it has been 20 years for me. How long for you?

Happy Easter afternoon to everyone.
MT nest when I looked.
Hoda, enjoy the time with your friend.
Sandi, it is difficult but please remember that the sadness now will be replaced with smiles of wonderful memories you keep in your heart forever.
Paula, so glad you had fun yesterday and have a day off today.
Margy, we will be waiting for an eagle sighting report. Have fun.
Have a wonderful day everyone.
Happy Easter!
Sandi, lifting you up during the grief process. Time will bring you comfort.
Paula, saw that the snowy owl was released in Wisconsin yesterday. He/she looked beautiful!
Take care.
ON lunch and have read back already been on FB and seeing if the egg is still in he MNBound nest so far I haven't seen it yet on lunch
I have told so many people about it and they all are curious about it also
our nest looks mt but I know they are there
SHIRLEY so far no neck pain because I am taking it easy and doing things I know won't hurt my neck and tough if they don't like it
Oh my, heart thumping.
Looks like Prez is just at the crib rail and looking over. Wiggling a bit too close for my comfort. Adult there but still makes me nervous.
JudyE, don't injure your neck more seriously. Maybe remind the boss(es) about the disability laws.
Bye
Good Easter Sunday Afternoon, Eagle Buds !

HAPPY EASTER! HE HAS RISEN!
lol Know what you mean, Kay. All are gone now and Jack is sawing logs!!
adult in with fish
the adult brought a fish in and there was already a fish in the nest at 3 eating at launch pad by self eaglets at 9
Shep is eating he brought the fish in with the multi cam I just saw Belle in NHZ reach and get the fresh fish and he is eating the other family dinner just can't see all
Our eaglets look like they are spooning I put a pic on the EagletMomster FB page and the Shep fan page will do EM album later

Our family has had a wonderful Easter celebration. The food and fellowship was the best. Hope to do it again next year.
Lolly all your pics on FB of the family are great. It is good to hear all of your day's stories - Blessed Be
I am kicking my feet up - I have some TV shows tonight - Of course they could be reruns.
BBL
Thank you, Jo! I love it when I can get the whole family together! It is so good for Zach. He has so much for with everyone. They left right after church and he wanted to stay with me. Warmed my heart!!
Laurel is getting rain, so far it has missed us. Jack says I am doing something wrong! Sigh.....

Hi,
Sitting here relaxing with Rus.
Home in paradise. Larry feeling better than yesterday. Full from lunch ...will just have a snack tonight. Waiting for TGW to come on.
good Sunday evening to one and to all.
We went to drum circle, which was small, but nice.
Blessed Be.
I meant alt and # thing. oops
Happy Easter night to all.
Paula, glad you had a nice weekend and that Larry is feeling better.
Shirley, seems as if you all had a fun time.
Jo, of course, had the pleasure of having the family Lennox together.
Okay, Ms. Jo, going to try to keep my eyes open for Bletchley.
Now, just in case my eyes become sealed shut, I have given Sandperson instructions and reminded him to check his GPS settings.
Since Hoda has not reported in, Sandperson is to check on her. Goodness only knows what mischief she and her friend have gotten into today.
Night light is on. Restful sleep for all.
Hey, Lynne2--Kathryn and Hunter saw a BEAR today.
And, they got to spend some time with his nana and pawpaw.
Luna is flopped in the hall. I think she is tired after her exciting day.
Been awhile since I bought a new outfit for Easter. I have enjoyed wearing it today. Have a couple of events coming up that I can wear it to.
I think the sandperson got Rus and me this afternoon. We both snoozed away for quite awhile. Will was busy cleaning out his car. He has a date on Tuesday.
Happy about the Happy Doins' reports here today, lots of smiles...
Kay, am so sorry for yet another death in Shirley Joplin's family,
and my prayers do continue
My day was good too, but no eagle sightings. I did hear a Barred Owl Who Whoo-ing away on the Maryland side of the River...
A Bear, Shirley, how about that for Kathryn and Hunter!!!
...we have not had any
bear sightings hereabouts...yet!
bedtime looms, four work days are upon me....Sandperson can shower his dust amongst others...but just for tonight he can skip my home
Night-Night, Everyone
Prayers for Wellness,
and
God Bless Us,
Every One xoxo
HAPPY EASTER!
Maybe tomorrow I'll want to hear about you know who seeing the you know what.
Love you Bird People! Good night and prayers for all!
OH MY GOSH....just saw where the MN eagle is sitting the DUCK EGG!!!!! Holy Guacamole....
Will be interesting to see what happens with that duck egg.
Off goes the TV and off goes Jo to the pillows.
Goodnight to all my friends and
God bless you with a restful sleep.
Well I'm calling it a day

Happy Easter Evening!! Hope Everyone had a good day! We had a nice ham dinner and I definitely had to color eggs as Fubby has been buying mass quantities at BJs!!! Count was 3 dozen! (I don't eat them)
BTW, did some reading here in early afternoon before KP and see that we confused a B'Day.
Lynne2...my rebud tree in eburg ha s buds...they are almost ready to bloom ...things are so late this year...
SED. love and hugs for all.
Things are late or dead this spring. Lost most of my lawn. Probably the ice in December did it. Ice set on it for days!
They saw a BEAR, Lynne!!! LOL n A BEAR! You do know how to celebrate a holiday!
Up too late, up too early...gotta hit the pillow!
Night all! SED!!
I love us.
Goodnight and God Bless
good morning to all. a beautiful a.m. here in Nashville! its been in the 80's here....and oops a "cold" front, only in the 70's for the next couple of days.
Have a good day all.
Good Morning Eagle Buds
Both eaglets are in the cup snuggling with each other 38° at the nest may be the reason
A whole lot of nothing--that sounds like a good plan, Judy. You have been through a lot of stuff.
Sounds so great, Hoda. I am looking forward to getting together with my college friends in May.
Good Morning
SHIRLEY SANDI is the one doing a whole lot of nothing.
Good decision on staying at your sister's next time SANDI.
Doing a whole lot of nothing is Grand.
Slept well.
Active day sharing with Kristin.
Will check in in the evening I hope.
Enjoy your day you all.
Missing SHAR and her news.
Oh, I meant to say Sandi. Thanks, Hoda. I put the wrong name in that comment.
Seeing an adult and two eaglets at the nest.
