Everyone is confident baby will not arrive this weekend. The Prince is on leave for ten days. Her Majesty's obstetrician is due to deliver the baby. He also delivered Prince William and Prince Harry. Natural child birth is what is expected.

I was not really surprised because I think there was reasonable doubt. I think what Zimmerman did was stupid, but the prosecution could not prove that Zimmerman shot the boy without provocation.

Following the guidelines of "beyond a reasonable doubt" in a court of law does not always correspond to the court of common sense. MHO: we have the greatest imperfect legal system in the world. Keep in mind that Mr. Zimmerman's life will never be the same and he will, in fact, likely always be looking over his shoulder. Not a pleasant way to live. He will live in his own private hell.
I kept thinking about the testimony of Rachael,the girl who was on the phone with Trayvon Martin. From everything she said, it seemed to me that she she knew there was going to be a fight, that the boy was going to start something.
That put doubt in my mind.

HODA and others: personally, I agree. our reasonable doubt does not always agree with common sense...i could list several big cases where that applies! and it angers me as well! i solace myself with my belief in the rule of three, that which you do comes back to you 3x. aka: what comes around goes around....but sometimes, it just doesn't seem right what our courts do and don't do....
SANDI: the pool water is much "softer" and no chlorine smell! salt, of course, can be dehydrating, but the level of salt is about the same as the level of salt in your eyes so it is really very little. it doesn't burn and doesn't taste salty, maybe the tinest bit...but not really. the water is crystal clear and perfect.
the key to this pool system is the maintenance. example: yesterday i dipped one of those test strips, the levels were perfect. there is a chamber on the pump called the permasalt chamber. it has rods in it and it ionizes copper into the water. it has been on the highest setting since we started it, so i dialed it down (as per the instructions) 2 numbers. this is how you keep the alkalinity and ph balanced...with that chamber. other than that, every 2 weeks i put in 1 bottle of something and 1 small bag of another thing (have to look to see what the names are) and that's it beyond scooping out leaves and such. pretty simple.
we worked our buns off yesterday, planning on doing less today. i need to do laundry and a few things. kids may come over to swim. but mostly, a more chill day.
it is cloudy this morning. 40% chance of rain showers today. good thing i mowed yesterday.

I think that is great news. Been several years since I've been to Hilltop House...actually thought it was not there anymore. I second Jo's comment about view from the grounds. I was up late watching the ZIMMERMAN "after verdict interviews" and tuned it in first thing this morning, trying to find something that might change my mind about the outcome of the trial. Nothing said changed my mind...NOT GUILTY, because there was reasonable doubt in my mind...not saying Zimmerman was 'pure as the driven snow', but there almost always is reasonable doubt if the victim cannot tell his/her story.
Have to get out of here...have a BLESSED SUNDAY ~♥~

It has been a busy day, but less busy than yesterday. Got the house cleaned and laundry done...again.
Kids came over and played in the pool most of the afternoon. My oldest granddaughter is sure testing her limits with her momma! Much like her momma she is!

I have not followed the case very closely...but have listened here and there. I too am tired of the violence and lack of concern/care for other lives, be they human/animal. :( It makes me very sad.

Sitting here with the iPad and just realized what the desktop computer problem is. Need to check it out tomorrow but think it was caused by an Internet Explorer/Windows update. It's happened before and after I delete the update things are back to normal. Duh... Should have thought of that before. Was able get online through Firefox.

Finally talked to the vet about Emma--we've been playing phone tag all weekend! She's allergic to turkey, wheat, and whitefish. No other major food allergy problems, apparently. Need to go in to vet's to pick up a few supplements we need to add to her diet to make it balanced. Will add one, wait 2 weeks and add another, wait 2 more weeks and add the 3rd. At that point, we can adjust the amount of food she's getting if necessary. Can gradually cut her down from 4 small meals/day to 3 slightly larger ones, then down to 2 meals if all is well.
Can then discuss more allergy testing, for environmental allergies. Can use Revolution on her now since no bad reactions in the past. Need to avoid pesticides and fertilizers at this time. She's feeling good--trying to coax us to play! Finally getting somewhere! God is good!
Doing face plants here, so will say goodnight. Ken has tomorrow off, so we are getting together with Sis-in-law to have some fun.

Diann, Jayden puts GG to bed every Friday night (that he is there). GG tells all of us that she is going to bed and after she kisses everyone good night, Jayden takes her hand and holds it all the way to her bed, then he tells her to lie down, asks her if she wants to watch TV, then kisses her nighty night and closes the door. She LOVES this routine, every Friday:)
