New thread. We all got a kick out of the behavior yesterday where the eaglets were being covered with grass by the adult. We think it was to keep them warm in the wind and possibly shield them from a predator (although it's very doubtful a predator would get through the adults).

Well I found someone to cover my shift at the shelter today. There was just no way for me to get Dex in an dout safely for both of us. Lots of stairs in and out of staff entrance that I carry Dex up and down. Back is some better than yesterday but not up to that kind of hauling. I have to go get some mile. Then will take it easy again today. Hope you all are having a good weekend. I see Paula is at her paradise. Good to see Lynn on here this morning.

Good morning everyone. Sorry I have not been around much lately, but I'm so much pain I don't feel like talking a lot. However, I'm still watching our eagles and its nice to see them growing everyday. I see my orthopedic surgeon Monday and hopefully schedule another hip replacement SOON.
RED, is your pain in your new or old hip? Either way, I'm sorry you are in so much pain:(
