Good morning Eagle family!

Sharon, you were up really late last night!
Hope your friend was uber excited to see you - I know she was!

KAY, was so excited to finally see your posts. Congrats on Seth, but
sorry it took so much out of you.
Just think, only 2 days until you
see the doctor! I can't wait for youe news! Big Hugs!
Hope you have a pain free day with lots of strength in those legs! ♥

Good Morning DanaMo and Sandi!

Sandi, so happy you liked my avatar idea...yours in beautiful.

I haven't said my official welcome to AZ PATTI!
Welcome Patti!!! We're so happy to have you here. I look forward to getting to know you over
the years on the blog! :)

LOLLY, I love that feeling that Jack
had, when you sit back and just admire
all your hard work in the yard. It's so
worth it! I can't wait for the pictures.

DanaMo said...

Good morning. Too cold for a run. Gonna sit here and drink my coffee and maybe go back to bed!

Don't you get all hot &
sweaty when you run, DMo?
I hate to sweat! :)

Morning Lori and DanaMo. Forgot to turn the alarm off so it went off at 5:30am! My VERY first thought, as I was trying to fall back to sleep for a little bit, was that last night was the season finale of Blue Bloods - do ya think Lynn watched it? I believe that Heaven is personalized for each one of us, so I am certain that Lynn's Heaven has a big screen for watching Tom!

grannyblt said...

Good morning all.

I was thinking of our Lynn when Blue Bloods came on last night. I fell asleep after the first commercial. I guess I lived in the CTZ for so many years that I just have a hard time staying awake for those shows that start at 10.

From the sounds of last nights postings, we need to set up a legal defense fund for our wayward members--the EMLDF.

Sandi said...

Morning Lynne! I'm never able to stay awake to watch Blue Bloods either - I always record it and watch it on Saturdays. So I didn't think about it last night. But I did first thing this morning b/c I've been waking up thinking of Lynn each day.

Prayers for Jewels and Christie as they awake to another day without their mom. Jewels posted on FB that it hurts to breathe - I still remember feeling like that when I lost my dad and he's been gone for 28 years.

Prayers also for Kay that today might be one of manageable pain.

grannyblt said...

My question of the day

Would you drive for 50-60 minutes one way to correct a cashier's mistake? I was charged twice for a 18lb bag of dog food at a supermarket I only frequent about 4times a year. I was there yesterday. I figure with the price of gas I will only gain 5-6 dollars if I go back, they believe me, and I get a refund.

grannyblt said...

After any of my loved ones have died, I always have a dream that the whole thing was "just a dream"--then I awaken. Prayers for all who are grieving.

Good morning my eagle peeps.

Good Morning Lori, Sandi, DanaMo, Grannyblt and those that was up late. I was on the computer last night. Found that I fell asleep on the couch waking at 1:30AM. I headed straight to bed. I was beat.

Woke this morning and the candle lite (runs off battery). It is just a little candle was still flickering beside Lynn's card.

I miss her so much♥

I am greatful to have "all of you♥". I know Lynn is watching over us, plus Carolyn, Christie, Jen, Jessica and Charlie and Shannon and others. Lynn was just that kind of beautiful person.

wvgal_dana said...

Good Morning Thelma prayers for all in Bluefield.

No Grannyblt I don't think I would make that drive. Due to your explaining about the gas cost.

Good morning,
Hope today is a better day (each in their own way) for everyone.

Busy weekend - birthday party for autistic nephew - 11 years already. A challenge everyday, but much improved as time goes on. Was recently discovered, he loves karoake & can sing. So, its going to be a karaoke BD party!!

Then out of town tomorrow for a party on the other side of the family.

But first - Bubby needs to work on vehicle today or we shall go chug, chug, chug down the road.

wvgal_dana said...

Think little Bro was having trouble getting his poop shoot. Tried several times. Last attempt was a go. Bet he feels better. :)

wvgal_dana said...

C/A hoping that Buddy can get the car all fixed so it can take you all too those wonderful parties.

So great that it was found out that 11 year old nephew likes karaoke. He'll have a ball at his party....Happy Birthday to HIM.

I did read back and seen where Red is ok. They found iron was low so he will be on an iron pill. Hip surgery going to be soon. Good health to you my friend Red.

DanaMo said...

wvgal_dana said...

I think Bro was born March 16th?

Judie said...

Good morning (and it is a good morning). I have made my escape thanks to Jo posting my bail. It is not easy to sleep while listening to Elvis sing Jailhouse Rock.

Hoda, I suggest you ease yourself quietly across the border by slinking through the tall grass at Lowreeda's Chelsea house. The geese will cover for you.

Wanda, hide the EE at GG's. No one would ever think to suspect your mom.

I did not spill the beans. I denied having ever seen a large bird's nest in an old tree and I denied knowing anything about a secret hiding place far away in the snow. I denied knowing birds have feathers and turtles have shells. Some of the detective (former students) didn't believe me but were afraid to rough me up as I might change their grades.

wvgal_dana said...

lol that is so funny Judie "thumbs up on that one" :)

Give yourself an A+

glo said...

Good morning everyone. Dex and I are going to work today. I hope you all will have a good one.

wvgal_dana said...

Hello Glo and Dex have a good day at work. Bye Glo and Dex.

wvgal_dana said...

Thelma if you are still here. Are you alone there?

Judie said...

Good morning, again.

Red, so pleased the problem is treatable with more iron and hope that hip surgery can be scheduled asap!

Wanda, so glad family night was fun. Jayden is a sweetheart. How's Brantley doing?

Kay, almost doctor time and sure hope you get an accurate diagnosis and options for relief. Can understand how very proud you are of Seth and so happy you were able to attend the ceremony.

CarolAnne, hope the nephew's birthday party is a huge success.

Know I've missed others in trying to catch up while fending off years of incarceration. Well, hi to all and wishing everyone as lovely a day as possible.

Oh, I did overhear some detectives discussing a strange occurrence: seems a 911 supervisor has been re-directing police away from the area of a large tree with a very large bird's nest.

Bye

You know I was thinking. The coloring on our cam is the best I think we have ever had. I am so happy Lynn got to enjoy the beautiful colors of it. :)

Linda said...

Good Morning!

Cloudy and cold does not sound fun. We sure got a tease with that warm weather that came so early.

LORI, is that a tablecloth I see behind your candle and flowers? Or is it wallpaper? I have that exact same tablecloth print. I haven't changed to my spring colors, but plan to do so this weekend, if I get my office organized! It is beautiful, as I am sure your decor is as well. I just get a sense you have that talent.....

SANDI, I was wrong when I mentioned that the season finale of Blue Bloods was last night. They mentioned there are two final episodes to go after last night's show.
We enjoy that show and we certainly know LYNN did!

Wishing everyone a great Saturday today. We were all at the nest at this time last week. What fun that was.

I miss us!!

They had an accident on I-81 past my mile marker. Although traffic would have been backed up past my mile marker. They drive so fast on there. They are working on I-81 have blinking lights to go 55mph. I go it but most still hitting 70 mph.

Glad I didn't take that new med that makes me sleepy. Cause I was going to take it and stay at Moms and leave around 8pm. Accident happened at 8:05pm. I would have been in that backup.

Thank you-upstairs.

My post for today.

If you're feeling down, turn your frown upside down.
Put a smile on your face, take the world in your embrace.
Ask for a little help from the man up above.
And remember you have your best friends love.

Costume Lady said...

GOOD MORNING...

Far too many accidents on I-81, Dana. Don't know if lowering the speed limit would help or not...probably not:(

JUDIE, you left me smiling last night and agin this morning. Love your sense of humor. Do your students know of your 'funny side'?

Thanks to MARGY for re-directing the detectives away from the Nest Tree. We don't want any outsiders messing with our Sycamore Family!

You know what, MARGY...if those puzzle pieces were not missing, we wouldn't have had the laugh we all got when Jayden said "uh, oh!"

BRANTLEY: Rachael had put him in his swing and didn't strap him in, thinking he wouldn't need that at this early stage...WRONG! Jayden tried to lift him out, luckily Rachael caught him in time! Now she knows, with Jayden being so young, he doesn't know any better or how dangerous his actions can be to an infant. Bless her hear, she has her hands full!
So far, he is a good baby...only awoke once his first night at home~

Yes, LINDA, this time last week, we were whooping it up at the Nest. What a wonderful time that was, seeing Belle coming in for a landing and I missed Shep's homecoming. The chicklets peering down at us was so, so special!

Costume Lady said...

Good advice, RED:)

G☼☼d Aftern☼☼n Eagle Buds ! Yes, LYNNE2, those spots of sunshine are as close as I'll get to the real thing on this dreary day in Central Ohio. By this time next week the temps will be in the 70's ! Yeah !

SANDI, yep the big day is Monday. Julie talked to another Biology prof at Columbus State--he just happens to be a Chiropractor, too. He says if the pains go down through both legs (they do) it is too late for his profession. He knows and respects my neurosurgeon and feels I'll be in good hands with her. He says she won't operate unless it's truly the last resort, but of course, I'm already thinking it is. This pain is indescribeably horrible. :o(

WANDA, you are the most beautiful GREAT grandmother I've ever seen ! Love any and all stories about Jayden and Brantly !

LOLLY, "I am feeling great"--wahoo ! That's what I like to hear !

RED, great poem ! Glad the iron problem is all it is and will soon be resolved.

JUDIE, your funny bone has me ROTF ! Wish I could find mine, I'd zero in on it with the TENS and see if it will rev back up.

JUDYE, wasn't our LYNN something---wonder how many others may find her plaque in the mail. The fact that she passed on the 25th gives me chills. My father and I were born on the 25th of a month, my sister and mother both died on the 25th of a month, as did BFF Lila and now dear LYNN. Wanda, I've got a happy event on a 25th. On May 25th, my mom will be settling on her new condo near my sister. She may not think of that as a happy event YET, but my sister and I sure do!!! My sister went over to Mom's today, planning to sift through more of Mom's stuff. She found Mom upstairs in bed. Her gout flared up yesterday and her feet were so swollen that she had not been downstairs in over 24 hours to get anything to eat (she was afraid she would fall)!! Lisa got her showered, dressed, and to a Patient First. She had stopped taking her gout medicine b/c she didn't want to pay the $90 for the prescription!!!!! Would someone please explain that mindset to me? She was also put on antibiotics b/c, on the bottom of the swollen foot there appeared to be a puncture wound. Apparently she stepped on something, though she doesn't recall stepping on anything, and it has gotten infected. SO, I will be delighted when May 25th gets here - it will be a joyful day for me!!!

Despite the fact that it is another's birthday, I think YOU will be the most honored guest at that party !!!

Better not be any noise complaints from there, or better yet, hope there ARE some happy noise complaints !!

Jewels said...

Margy..... how are you? I wanted to call you yesterday but got back from Dads at like 11pm.

Costume Lady said...

Carolyn, how are your girls...are they doing OK? So young to be faced with the passing of a loved one~

Jewels said...

Probably just me crying, well maybe everyone else too?

Jewels said...

Wanda, they are good. Seems that they are so resilient. They have had friends over and has kept them so busy.

Costume Lady said...

So happy you have so many Moms on here, Jewels...hope you know by now that we love you for YOU and not just because of who you are:)

magpie said...

I think there will be some of that, Jewels...they will embrace you with their lovins' !
I'm thinking of you, and not to worry about not calling, I am glad you had that time with your Dad....

Jewels said...

Yes,I have many surrogates.... like yourself, Jo and my Margy who I have called Momma II for sometime now.

stronghunter said...

Hi,

Have been lurking today. Carolyn, I hope you go to the party and enjoy yourself.

CA and Judy, you will treasure those plaques.

I am being told that I must feed the critters right now, so I will be back later.

magpie said...

And once again, your Moniker serves you well: Jewels!
I'll say Amen to That !!

Jewels said...

Well I guess I better get off here and go do something with myself to get ready, don't want to look like a droopy eye, washed out face. I love you all, thank you for loving me and most of all for loving Mom!!

magpie said...

I have a little assignment to take care of...so heading out for that...

Jewels: Enjoy your evening.
As others have said, Your MommaI would surely want you to have some time with your friends....

Jewels, I only wish everything in the world was as easy as loving your mom!!

Kay, thanks for the prayers for my mom. She HATES feeling dependent on others - I bet you can understand that. My dad has been gone for 28 years so she is used to being dependent only on herself. The idea of needing help from others is not coming easily to her. I knowb/c I am exactly like her, as is my sister!!

Jewels said...

Momma II you come by too to Veronica's

Home from work. Man I feel wiped after putting in a whole day now. Good thing I am retired :-). I see another surprise package has arrived. I can just imagine as you two opened your mail and received those precious gifts. No words to describe the heart of that woman. Prayers continue for her family. What a loss. What a great loss BUT the loss actually means what a great gain to have had such a Mom.

Lolly said...

Hi all!!!! Have been gone all day and just now caught up on the blog. Momsters you are doing good for our Jewels. You gave her good advice!!! And support.

Had a great time in Denton at Joseph's ball game. They lost their first game 11 to 12. Joseph did well though, his pitching was great! Had lunch and then went to the house to see Jacob demonstrate his new bike riding skills. Yea!

Finally got home and we promptly went outside to water pots. Yep, it has begun....watering. It is starting to get dry here. Time for more rain.

NatureNut said...

Good Evening Eagle Buds.
Doing a few chores today and got some flowers planted in pots just before the rain started! I'll sendv some your way Lolly, altho we really need it!
For all you Nascar fans, race is Tonight from Richmond at 7:44PM!

I've gotta respond the our "out in the open" AZPatti. Thanks for your writing last night~~~so happy you enjoyed the pictures. Doing them is probably one of my favorite things even tho an amateur!

Hope Jewels makes it to the B'Day party.Got to mention that when I was outside, I looked at sky and talked to Lynn. I see her every day in my mind~~~red hair, big smile! Love her and Love and Prayers to Carolyn, Christie, and family.♥

Back from Mothers and then layed down from the drowsy medicine. Slept for 2 hours. WOW!

Read back Carolyn I am so glad everyone has said go to the party. Your Mom would have wanted you to go. Glad your going.

As for the 25th I didn't want to say anything earlier. Ed passed Nov. 25th on a Wed---Lynn passed on the 25th on a Wed. I was sad when that hit me. Then I thought take it as happy they both went to God who took away their pain on the same day and date.

Just like she and I will be sad to not have her here on the blog. During our birthday. It will be sad but I hope it comes back to me that Lynn is not in pain now. ^j^

wvgal_dana said...

Sending along with Carolyn special prayers at the party. I do believe she will be hugged so much. The Love and our Love for her will help get her through the party.

Love you Christie and Carolyn and family (((hugs)))♥♥♥♥♥♥ and Mom♥.

I have returned to spend the evening in my home. Good decision Carolyn to go to the party - I hope being around friends will be good medicine for all the heartbreak you are feeling. Enjoy yourself.

I have my calendar marked for May 12th and I think that to have your Mom's special life time friend with us will make things very special. Hoping that Irene and Frank will be they so we can meet them.

I think that DanaMo & family will be at the 9:00 or 11:00 Mass especially since the Adult Choir will be singing.
Kay Dana & I are from different parishes - about 30 miles apart.

I need to check FB to see if my kids got home safely from the park. BRB

Evening eagle buds!

Thanks for the welcome, Kay! We're in the White Mountains so we don't get the Tucson heat, only the beautiful sunshine! :) We're still having chilly nights here so we're heading out to our little b**** shortly for a campfire.

NatureNut, I, too, love taking photos but am an amateur. Love having a digital camera now. I can snap to my heart's content (and hopefully get a great shot) and not have to worry about processing costs.

Hope Jewels is allowing herself to enjoy the party.

TTFN. If I don't make it back, sweet dreams to all and prayers for those in need.

It is very quiet here now. Kathryn and Hunter left for his baseball practice, which was at 1:00. They are still gone.

I ate the last steak in the refrigerator with some mushrooms and peas.

Hoda said...

I felt so blessed to have read the MOMSTER and JEWELS exchange before I went to yoga...It was so so so so full of our love for LYNN and her JEWELS(both)...All through practice I kept chanting "journey well LYNN journey well, your daughters will do alright they will be alright". It occured to me that that is probably the hardest thing for LYNN about leaving this plane and continuing on another...her love for her daughters...to know that you are doing well is the best gift anyone can give her I am sure. GOD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU LYNN'S MOST PRECIOUS DAUGHTERS.

Hoda said...

SANDI I hope your mom feels better soon.

Good yoga practice for me and the skies were blue with some sun out and I know gratitude.

Being away so long I missed a lot of the happenings, except Lynn's passing. Not sure why I was lurking that day, but a higher power must have been at work.
