Time to say good night. Hope you are all safe and warm on this cold night.

Wish Judie would log in.

I will turn on the night light just in case she does not show up tonight.

have an email and she did email a name
for our eagle to Paula.
Sleep well and dream about your

Oh Kay - I love to hear the Eagles sing that song! Now I'll have it in my head trying to go to sleep tonight! lol

One more thing--I just looked at Judy's North Carolina pictures. They are beautiful. But one thing I have always wondered about. Why do cows in a pasture always seem to face in the same direction? Check out her pasture picture.

Mema Jo said...

Good Night JudyE! Your pics and videos are spectacular! ♥

stronghunter said...

Good to know you have heard from Judie. She has a lot of self-discipline. I would be taking a break and getting on the blog.

Bless her. I hope she does take a break now and then.

Good night.

SHIRLEY, WikiAnswers says:

"A cow with its tail to the west, makes weather the best; A cow with its tail to the east, makes weather the least."

This New England saying has much truth in it, for an animal grazes with its tail to the wind. This is a natural instinct, so the animal may face and see an invader; and invader from the opposite side would carry out its scent to the cow, in the wind. In as much as an east wind is a rain wind and a west wind is a fair wind, the grazing animal's tail becomes a weather sign.

Huh ? I had to read that a couple of times and am still not sure I understand. Maybe it's too late at night for me, so I'm going to say Ciao !

Praying for those on our list !

See you tomorrow.

Do you remember this past year when I asked for prayers for the granddaughter of a good friend. The baby was having seizures. They are from here, but he is in the service and stationed in VA.

Received this email today.....

Ky and Tina called yesterday. The genetics test that was performed on Kali came back positive for Dravet Syndrome. It is a rare disorder caused by a genetic mutation in a protein that regulates electrical activity in the brain. The seizures associated with Dravet syndrome are very difficult to treat. Many of the anti-epileptic drugs used are not effective for this disorder, and several of them can even make the seizures worse. Kali is 18 months old and this disorder seems to escalate when children are 2-4 years. Their pediatrician is in the process of referring Kali to a children's epilepsy specialist in Richmond. As of today, that doctor can't see her before February. Of course Ky and Tina are fearful about Kali's future and they have asked for everyone's prayers. We also ask for your prayers for Ky and Tina and the other little ones.
Love to all,
Kaye and Jack

Kaye and Jack are very dear friends of ours in our church. Both are elders in the church, very good people. So, Momsters/Dadsters, I am once again asking for your awesome devout prayers for little Kali Gregory.

Thank you!!!!!

Judie I will be glad and happy when you do retire.....you work too too hard.

Margy I feel like I'm in the movie
about the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Jo yes they will have to wait to make that decision about the parade till tomorrow. There has been a lot of work go into it. Be sad that the weather would keep them from having it. Maybe
just have to put off for one day.

Even though Gifted Man was the 1st of the show. I still loved watching it again.

Night all keeping all that need prayers in mind and those that I said I would pray for Lord. If I don't have them wrote down. Then I know you will remember them. God Bless All. Take Care!!!

Lori O. said...

I hope I'm not up for the morning, yet. Just wanted to see if there was any snow - none so far, though it's raining here.

Lolly, so sorry that the Rangers lost. I know you were really cheering for them. I thought they would win it. It's always a better story when a team that has never won finally wins...and they came so close.

Kay said...

So get back to bed, young lady. You have a big day today and need your rest !

Ms Bookworm said...

Hi, Everyone,
Gosh, I'm up so late, I guess it's early!
Have been SOOOOO busy today. Had a boatload of transcription to do (and still more to finish!), had to do grossery shopping, and we're babysitting the bulldogs again until Sunday afternoon. Finally quit doing transcription because my eyes refuse to focus any more!
Tomorrow is another day...

Hoda, absolutely LOVE the bear tagging video!! Thank you!

Lolly, sorry about the Rangers. I was rooting for them, too. Prayers, indeed, for Kali Gregory, Ky and Tina, Kaye & Jack.

Well, I'm going to call it a day. Shirley, thanks for turning on the night light for Judie. I'm making sure the porch light is on, and enabling both security systems. Sleep well, everyone. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! :o]

Lord Margy is right about I-81 and the traffic. Can you place some of your "safety upon that road". I guess I'm asking you to be on all roads for those that are driving Interstates and even back roads.
Plus this snow is really hitting the trees so I'm asking you about people keeping electric. Thank You ( : You certainly know who this is.

Costume Lady said...

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE...

JUDYE, please take some more video of Jordyn at dance class so that we may see how she is improving. I giggled so much at her first class.
Nursing home, too.

Yes, we are having a snow storm here in Martinsburg/Shepherdstown...about a half inch. Right now, the flakes are smaller, which sometimes means it's about to stop, but I don't think it's going to stop for a while according to the forcasters.
JUDYE, I will go out and take a quick video so that you can see our snow while you are wearing your Capris and Sandals;)

Kay said...

JUDYE, you are right, I've improved a lot since the day you took off for NC and NCTC ! Will be on antibiotics and under care for months, but I'm feeling good. It's good to have you back and posting regularly. We all missed you, but were happy you were having so much fun !

WVgal DANA, LYNNE, told us several days ago that all is okay with the car now. No detail, just things have been taken care of.

Kay said...

Heading to Denton soon! Have a great day!

Lynn, you and Candy have a great visit!

Bye

stronghunter said...

Good morning,

Just checked trafficland.com and found accumulated snow on I-81 in Virginia and several places in Maryland. Yes, the snow has come. But not to Fredericksburg.

Lolly said...

Very pretty, Wanda! Looks like Winter has arrived for you!Hee Hee....I saw the back end of the Eagle Express!!!! Wish you could jump in it and head to Texas!☺♥

stronghunter said...

Prayers for Kali and her family, Lolly.

stronghunter said...

Looks cold, Wanda. I hope you do not get so much snow that it damages the trees.

Costume Lady said...

LOLLY, I wish we could too! Love most of the parts of Texas we have been in. Galveston is interesting and we had a grand time in Dallas one year at an ELKS convention!!:)

Kay said...

WANDA, the snow IS beautiful, but please don't send it northwest ! October 29 is way too early for that white stuff !

LOLLY, have a great time in Denton !

Costume Lady said...

Yes, SHIRLEY, that is a concern...the snow is wet/heavy and the branches are already drooping with only an inch of snow.

hedgie said...

Morning all! Girls left about 9:15....thanks for your prayers for their safety.

MARGY: JEFF CO COMM CTR. BEING EVACUATED FOR HEAVY ODOR OF SMOKE!!!!!

Reports of lots of small trees down---I think that was coming from Jeff Co, too.

ARGH! Sure praying we don't come home to no power tomorrow!

hedgie said...

I hear Margy dispatching! So cool that I can still listen to scanner online---when no one else is here to be bothered by it! Frank and Irene are fishing.

Costume Lady said...

I was talking to GG, yesterday about the snow (made her promise not to go out for paper or mail, or to shovel!), and she told me that it snowed the day she brought me home from the hospital, probably Oct. 16 or 17.
It snowed on my birthday the year I was a freshman in High School. So, it does snow in October~

Snow plow went up Shepherdstown Road and a farmer with a plow on his tractor went up our road. So customers can COME ON DOWN!

Costume Lady said...

GOOD MORNING, LYNN:)
Traveling mercies for your girls. Don't know where all it is snowing, but hope their travels are in areas where there is now snow!

hedgie said...

Judy, I posted a snow pic that a friend who lives near me took around 9 this morning.

wvgal_dana said...

Lynn how are you getting to hear Margy? Where can I go so I can get it on my computer please?

hedgie said...

Wanda, sounds like the girls will be driving into the snow unless it moves fast! Probably will run into at least by the time they hit Berryville.
Sure hope your business is super today!!!

Love your zippy sandals, Judy!

Have a good day in Denton, Lolly.

wvgal_dana said...

Lynn-Hedgie I checked out your snow picture. Sure is pretty ( :

Morning all

Was going to postv an hour or so ago and got interrupted....dealing with BIG phone problems at work...still no service ...someone else at work is going to try to get it resolved now

50 here and lots of rain they say 1 to2 inches here

Going to do some floor prep here today and make a Lowes run

stronghunter said...

Good morning, Paula. Hope they get the phone problems straightened out.

wvgal_dana said...

Remember the Beverly Hillbillies Tv Show Jed Clampett, Jethro, Elly, and Granny.
Don't need the real actors names.
It was Jed that hit oil.
Well ha ha I wrote the word "well" though I meant a different Well every time I use my wash machine I hit oil!!!! I have the BEST appliance man. He talked with me
about price of fixing it and it could go bad again. So the best was to use it until it gave out. No worry of fires. So before
Ed passed I hit oil and easy clean up. Just time and ouch bending over. Washer is still going and I love it because it has the thing on top that catches the lint.
The new wash machines don't have that.
Oh Jed got rich with his oil!!!!!!!!!!
Me is ain't worth squat lol

Costume Lady said...

Electricity went out here, momentarily, about an hour ago...hope that is not a sign of things to come!

hedgie said...

Oh, Paula, surely hoping you don't have to head back to Frederick.

Carolyn just called and said that her neighbor said their power is out. :(
She and Christie have made it through the Hampton Rds. tunnel, so making their way okay in rain.

wvgal_dana said...

Hope that is not either Wanda.

Since the snow I changed my avatar. I know Halloween is coming but the snow came first. Daddy always loved the male Cardinal.♥

hedgie said...

Watched your video, Wanda....looks like the pine is already resting on the Eagle Express....:(

wvgal_dana said...

Oh no Carolyn's electric is out!!!

Lynn yours probably would be too.

Did you know that if an eagle eats three (3) pellets it can kill the eagle. This would be left in killed deer, ducks and other game which eluded the hunter and later died (lead poisoning).

wvgal_dana said...

THE EAGLE, OUR NATINAL EMBLEM

hedgie said...

Can't believe we haven't heard from our Southern Delegation.....TWC says it's snowing there, too. Maybe they don't have power......

Costume Lady said...

Yes, Lynn, the trees are bending mighty low. I think we are going to close the shop and put up a sign, for anyone who is desperate for a costume, reading: WE ARE CLOSED DUE TO THE SNOW STORM. IF YOU NEED A COSTUME, COME OVER TO THE HOUSE AND WE WILL OPEN UP FOR YOU OR CALL US ON YOUR CELL~

Hope everyone has candles and lanterns and flashlights. An alternate heat source would be ideal, if possible: A gas stove can give you heat and a good warm meal, a fireplace is best, but not always possible, kerosene heaters are fantastic at heating a room, BUT must be used with extreme caution (newer ones are much safer), just keep them away from draperies, or any flowing fabrics.
WHAT ON EARTH AM I DOING? I SOUND LIKE A COMMERCIAL. Ha, ha! This snow storm has gone to my head:)
I was really thinking of LYNN'S girls and PAULA, at the moment. Good advice for all of us. I opted to get a gas stove, because of the convenience of it at times such as this and also for GG. Got her Fire Logs than are gas and don't need electricity to work.

Just got a cell call from a customer wanting to get into the shop. Capt. Gene is opening up for them. Hope there are more to follow. This should be our busiest day of the month...not gonna happen this year:(
Maybe I will sell a lot of Santa Suits...sold two of them for Halloween:)

Costume Lady said...

LYNN, our Bluefield girls may still be at their convention in Ripley. Have to check out their outdoor cam...can't remember where it is, but I will find it.

Mema Jo said...

Good Snowy Morning to most of you..
To JudyE - Happy you have new sandals!

I would have been here much much earlier but I was mesmerized by those snowflakes. At times they looked like rain and then they would change to huge flakes. But did you know - squirrels are here waiting for their peanuts whether it is raining or snowing.

Anyone going out, please use care.
GD in Hedgesville is without power already but they do have woodstove for heat and cooking. Probably an adventure for the kids with the snow. Kristen said that Donavon called and said " Meme, Is it, Is it, Is it snowing at your house" He was so excited - just like a 2 1/2 yr old.

Mema Jo said...

http://www.swiftnet.us/jeffersoncam/

Doesn't look like they are getting as much as you are, Wanda. The cars are
still speeding quite fast.

They are all in Ripley for convention.

Will Carolyn check on your house Lynn when they are home? I am glad you have
Liesl with you!

Costume Lady said...

Hey, Jo...I didn't see any snow! Maybe I need to put my glasses on. I hate wearing glasses, drives me crazy when I first put them on and abour an hour before bedtime, starts to annoy me.

Mema Jo said...

I checked out the Ocean City cams - looks as though now it is just wet - no trace of snow on the ground. I do see that they are getting their Christmas decorations ready!

Costume Lady said...

BLUEFIELD (home of Sharon, Sissy and Thelma) give out lemonade when the temps go above 90°, am wondering if they give out HOT CHOCOLATE when it snows?:)

Mema Jo said...

No Wanda there isn't snow in Bluefield just wet from rain
You saw well without your glasses!

Mema Jo said...

Once T-Bird said it would be a good
idea for the hot coca but the city hadn't established that yet. Makes sense to me.

Mema Jo said...

I need to go get my street clothes
I am all bundled up right now with my fleece throw and my socks are on!

hedgie said...

I think I see snow on the trees in Bluefield! Hard to tell---cam seems fuzzy! Didn't know the gals were in Ripley----haven't been able to keep up with FB much! Thanks, Jo.
Well, if Melissa doesn't have power, then I probably don't, either. And since Carolyn's area is out, then Frank's probably is, too.
No, Carolyn won't check on my place....too far out of her way, Jo. She may not even be able to get home from Christie's in her car---Shannon may have to take her in his truck.

hedgie said...

It is currently 64° here---even tho' feels cooler with breeze and clouds.

Mummers parade canceled

This year's Mummers Parade has been canceled due to snow, Alsatia Club President James G. McCleaf II said Saturday morning.

That is about the 1st time in a long while that the parade was called off. I remember once in a rain storm but never in a snow storm. The costumes of the "Mummers" from Philadelphia PA are extravagant!

Too bad, Jo. I guess no one is prepared to have an October parade in the snow. Christmas parades, yes, October parades, no.

Costume Lady said...

When Gene and I were dating teenagers, we loved the Mummers Parade...but being 25 miles away, had to get GG's permission to go. We always took several other couples with us, so it was OK with her...oh, such sweet, wonderful days those were!

Costume Lady said...

Still snowing and it is 34°, only going up to 37°. Tonight's temp. will be a low of 29° and tomorrow will be a high of 46°.
Hope it warms up for the kiddies Trick or Treating on Monday evening.
Jayden is dressing as a TIGER, complements of Grandma Tiger:)
He likes to play with the costume, but doesn't like to wear it...don't know how Momma Rachael is going to handle that!

hedgie said...

Too bad about the Mummer's Parade---they should have re-scheduled for next weekend!! So much prep all for naught.

paula eagleholic said...

Whoo hoo the sun is out down here...hope that means the storm is moving quicker than they thought....will send the sunshine your way :)

stronghunter said...

Hoping for warm (but not hot) and dry weather for Halloween.

I remember one year when we were in Huntersville and it was 90 degrees on Halloween. We sat on my mother's front porch and gave out candy. There were so many children that we just stayed out there.

Halloween Light Show

Wow!!

wvgal_dana said...

I think with all the work that has gone into the Mummers Parade they should have made it tomorrow evening!!!!! Just to cancel and not have it. I don't think was right.....bummer for those that wanted to go and for those that worked hard to enter something!!!!!
Bad decision!!!

Good afternoon, Eaglebuds!
Got home late last night, had some din din, started watching the BBall game & konked out in the chair. Never got to 'puter room! I did pop up now & then & caught the score which I didn't like! We were rooting for Rangers! Fubby went to bed.
He talked to our friends in Paw Paw this AM & they had 4" of snow!!!!I really didn't think there would be any. We have cold rain. So dark I can't see the keyboard!
Hope everyone's power returns. Read that Paula may be coming home~~~her power is out, too???

NatureNut said...

Just saw Paula's new message! HOORAY, Sun in Paradise!!!

stronghunter said...

Not seeing where Paula says she is coming home. She said she is sending sunshine our way because she has some there.

Costume Lady said...

OH, OH, Loretta, I think you may have misunderstood my post about being without power. I was thinking about those who are in areas that have power failure during winter storms. PAULA may be in one of those areas. Or, she may be safer than the rest of us. Just a good idea to be prepared!

hedgie said...

No---Paula was trying to deal with telephone outage at work FROM Paradise....I was just hoping they could fix it without her having to come back!

NatureNut said...

Thx, Wanda. That explains that.
Hope you can get a little more business. Will you be open on Sunday after church if weather OK?
Hope Jayden will be a tiger! Love DanaMo's costume! We did a Wizard of Oz skit one year for bowling. I was the scarecrow! That was fun!

Tales of the continuing Texas Saga; Sherry phoned home yesterday noonish & told Dad when she went to work, she felt air coming in the car (convertible). She saw that the roof had been slashed!!!!! Marks in 4 or 5 places but not all went through. And they are staying at the condo/apt. place her company uses for visitors. A man there said it could have been kids with a knife or raccoons!!!!!!!I didn't know raccoons carried knives!

wvgal_dana said...

Same thing happened to daughters cover for her Motorcycle. Slashed badly. Some people just can't leave other people property alone.
I told her get a garage from the Apartment Complex until their lease is up. Cause she will have to move not to Boulder too expensive but closer to work. Their Apartment Complex is very nice. No people out at night carry on. No garbage thrown around. Think someone just didn't like her not moving her bike. It is not like there aren't plenty of parking!!! Sorry Sherry :(

NatureNut said...

New weather report here --SLEET! Or maybe small hailstones!

Thx, Dana. She is not getting it repaired while they stay there for a few months. They'll put Gorilla tape on inside for now.Insurance will pay. It's got lots of mileage & she was thinking about getting new one, but that was before fire.

Costume Lady said...

No, LORETTA, raccoons don't carry knives, BUT, they do wear BOOTS...I hear them running around on our roof about once a week:)
I feel so badly for Sherry, she has enough to worry about, without some stupid raccoons with a knife tearing up her car:(

hedgie said...

You don't ever want to tangle with raccoon claws! Lethal weapons!!! So could have been.....poor Sherry is not getting many breaks lately...:( my heart goes out to her, Loretta.

Lynne2 said...

Hi all! We've got snow, sleet, rain here. Mostly slush in the grass areas.

Prayers for Kali Lolly...so very sad.

Shirley, the answer to the cow question is that herd animals will usually put their back sides to the wind.

Wanda, I'm so sorry the weather is making you best weekend not so good at the shop :(

Continued prayers for Andy's Marq's father.

Got a flu shot for FREE this morning! Thank you Baltimore County Health Department!

Sure sorry the Ranger's didn't win the World Series.

Lynne2 said...

SO happy to hear that Lynn and Candy will be hooking up in NC!

Lynne2 said...

oh, just read back some more and see that Jo guessed it about the animals, and Kay also found the answer!

I'm a little sorry that we didn't go to my MIL's but just didn't want to take a chance heading up through the mountains not knowing for sure what the snow would do. She said the roads are clear and that it's so pretty up there right now!

hedgie said...

Kids are just past Berryville, VA! If road isn't blocked, they should be to Christie's in about 40 mins! Making GREAT time!

Congrats, Lynn! Dinner w/Candy. What a great week for Momster get-togethers.Give her a hug from us!

Lynne, it's hard to believe that much snow in Terra Alta! It's too early for this! We've had a really strange mother nature year.I was just switching to longsleeve T shirts for the 60ish days & now it's sweats!!And my crabapple still has another batch of flowers. Our good friends that just moved to NC are starting planting at their new house & said there are azaleas done there that bloom several times a year! I want some!!

hedgie said...

Lynne, I am SO glad you stayed home!!!! Just not worth the risk if avoidable!

hedgie said...

And good for you getting that flu shot!!!

Costume Lady said...

Good to hear your girls are nearly home, Lynn. It is still snowing like crazy, but our road, out front, is just slushy, no ice. We've had 5 customers, so far, so I guess the roads aren't too bad.

Electricity just went off, long enough to make everything in the house that is hooked up to electricity, beep, honk, buzz and need to be reset!

paula eagleholic said...

Sun has been gone for awhile....thye wind is whipping and the water is very6 high....I put a pic on FB

paula eagleholic said...

Wow 10" for Lynne MIL...hears roafs are passable in Frederick...phone issue slowly getting resolved at work...we can get calls now..but can't make them...and no I don't need to go back for it

hedgie said...

That's a relief, Paula!!!

Wanda---there's probably been at least 5 calls on the scanner for your road, too!!!

QUESTIION---If someone has 4 wisdom teeth pulled and 1 molar pulled. Will they still be able to chew food??????

hedgie said...

Getting ready to head out. Meeting Candy at 4:30. Later, gators.

Lori O. said...

Home safe and tired! Stay home if you don't have to drive. The roads are not good in this area.

BBIALW, have to feed and get FloBear out - and he hates snow. :)

Mema Jo said...

Welcome me back! (You may not have even missed me) Our electric went out at
12:30 and when it did come back on 2 1/2 hours later out Modem was dead. Hubby's phone call to Verizon lasted until just now and they helped Hubby fix it. The snow plow has been around
our circle twice! A huge limb out back is in the yard and another one looks like it could snap! I am glad I have my comfort food (pumpkin pie) on hand.

Lori I as really worried about your travels and Carolyn and Christy -Be

Have a great time Lynn and Candy!!
SAFE.

paula eagleholic said...

Dana yes they can still chew

Water going down ... going to try to head to Lowes...if the water is too high I will turn around

Mema Jo said...

Dana - Yes that person can chew food! Usually the wisdom teeth are not
there or have been pulled

Mema Jo said...

WOW! Sounds like all the traffic is
going to Wanda The Witches shop! Get them while they are stuck in the snow!

Mema Jo said...

Great time for your girls, Lynn.
Sigh of relief for their safe journeys ♥

Dinner time here BBL

paula eagleholic said...

Lori glad you home safe and sound

Jo I did miss you...wondered where you were!

Costume Lady said...

Good to know you are home safe and sound, LORI:)

PAULA our ROAFS HEARS are passable too. Snow plow has been doing a fine job going up and down Shepherdstown Rd. and Gosling Marsh Rd.

wvgal_dana said...

If the molar is pulled will it create problems with teeth shifting so being 23 yrs old will it cause him to have to get braces later? Due to teeth shifting?

Lynne2 said...

Dana, teeth will shift. It happens slowly over time. Usually the dentist will recommend a bridge where the missing tooth is so as to keep that from happening. Wisdom teeth are all the way in the back of the mouth...most people end up having them pulled at a young age. One other missing molar won't really interfere with chewing.

Lynne2 said...

Just posted some pics on my blog, nothing spectacular....

Costume Lady said...

From expeirience, Dana, when I was in my thirties, I had to have a tooth pulled which was right next to one that was pulled when I was 16, had no choice back then. Anyway I have had 2 jaw teeth missing for a good part of my life and has never been a problem, other than the gum is exposed to hard foods like cereal, nuts, etc. and I do have to be careful to chew on the other side. One day, when I have $6,000 to spare, I would love to get an implanted tooth. I guess each individual is different. But, if it has to be done, then, it is what it is~

wvgal_dana said...

Lynne there would be a tooth then the missing molar then the missing wisdom. Don't you have to have a tooth before the missing molar and a tooth after to do a bridge???

wvgal_dana said...

Here is there choice pull the both wisdom need pulled. On the one side the molar is bad. Either pull it or cap it. He has seizures so they are worried he would just crack the crown on the molar.

So much to pull molar.

More to cap molar with no assurance he won't grin teeth or have a seizure an crack it. Which he feels might be throwing money away.

Which would you all do pull molar or cap it??? Won't have money later to do anything if the cap get cracked or broken.????????

Mema Jo said...

Dana - I would put faith in what the
Dentist tells the person knowing about
the dental insurance. Your questions
should be directed to the dentist himself. The molar and the wisdom
tooth beside it would go... I may be
mixed up as to what side - upper or lower. That is why I appreciated your questions but it has to be the person
and his dentist making these decisions.

hedgie said...

Back from a nice dinner with Candy. She sends greetings to all and promises to try to get her password situation straightened out so she can get back on the blog!! She looks great!

No bridgework after extracted wisdom teeth. They are useless teeth that mostly just cause problems--either never erupt, come in sideways pushing good teeth, or roots wrap around nerves, Dana. Lack thereof does not interfere with chewing at all, nor does losing a couple of molars.

hedgie said...

Carolyn still has no power. Her house is cold, and the Halloween party she was going to was cancelled. Assuming that French Maid Christie and Butler Shannon have arrived safely at their party in Frederick.

wvgal_dana said...

All 4 widsom teeth are being pulled.

The only decisoion he has to figure out. The dentisit won't tell him what he should do.

Is the molar pull or crown it. Dr. won't say due to seizures he has that he wouldn't have it crowned and then crack it have a seizure.

So it is pull molar or crown molar??????????

hedgie said...

And from a medical perspective, if he has seizures and could break a crown during one, he could also swallow it and choke on it...so PULL it IMPO.

Lynne2 said...

oh no, I didn't mean a bridge for the wisdom teeth....should have been more clear. Only to fill in spot left by pulled tooth to keep the ones behind and in front from shifting.

Lolly said...

Hi all! We are home from Denton. Joseph had a great game. They won and he did some great saves as goalie. Proud of him. He is missing next weeks game because of basketball tryouts. When he told the soccer coach, the coach replied that he will try to get the game time changed. LOL

Jack did some repairs around the house, I helped Laurel do some house cleaning and then we headed home.

We did not have frost this morning. It has been a beautiful day. I was comfortable at the soccer game in jeans and a long sleeve shirt. So very sorry for your yucky weather. Watch a football game with heavy snow falling. Crazy!

We have had snow here before Thanksgiving. I remember having a Thankgiving dinner at our house for a sorority get together the weekend before Thanksgiving. Jack put sand from the kids sandbox on the sidewalk.

Got my snail mail today!☺ Love the postcard that was included. It is priceless! Thank you! (((Hugs)))

Costume Lady said...

If there is not a tooth on either side of the molar that is to be pulled, then a bridge cannot be put in. Needs 2 teeth to connect the bridge to. I would go with what the Dentist said...crown will crack during a seizure...Can he control his seizures with medication?

magpie said...

uynn
sorry Caro does not have power, wonder when she will ???
also wonder about Jo's Hedgesvil;ers...cute quote from Donavan !!

I had all 4 wisdom teeth CUT out when Christie was a baby. They never erupted all the way and were very painful. Not a big deal at all.

Costume Lady said...

The sales at the shop were not nearly as good as usual on the last Saturday of October, but were enough to bring us a smile for staying open:) AND a smile for being closed til next Halloween. Of course, we still have Christmas, but that is a piece of cake...by appointment only.

hedgie said...

I never did develop wisdom teeth. Always felt I was short changed for some reason, like, maybe I would look better if I had wisdom teeth to fill my face out. I have always been fascinated with the wisdom teeth saga. Some do, some don't and they almost alway get pulled, why, Lord, did you give them to some and not others and why do they do no good and have to be pulled??
