Love that song, Lynne! Good pics with it. This Irish gal loves the good ol' pub tunes.
Liesl isn't lathargic....but she wasn't very active today....only played ball for about three tosses. Did okay with her homework session. (Same treats I've always used, too)
Underarmour SHIRLEY???It is even more complicated than I thought. LOL!!!
MARGY is going to have a visit from her sister. That is GREAT. Sister and James the Wise have already met?...because I thought that MARGY was going to spend time with James tomorrow. How will you fit in all those visits MARGY???
Can someone tell me how in the world a darn fruitfly can fly right into my eye when I have glasses on??? Grrrrr. Better than an SB, for sure, but still......
Hoda, Margy and James took the Amtrak train to Massachusettes to visit her sister a couple of years ago. I picked them up at our train station when they returned...there are pics on my blog!
And if anyone does visit the Massachusetts link....there are a few pics on there from Swinging Bridge....had to throw them on there so a friend could see them and never took them off ☺
Bear update is not good. Hope is still missing. Also, she was in an area where a hunter was baiting for the bears. Not good! I really can not think about it. Have tears in my eyes right now after just reading the update.
P.S. Yep, Lynne, I will call the vet if anything is the least off in the AM. Understand there is a distemper outbreak in the county....but she's had all her vaccs. Was glad to hear, too, that PetSmart power scrubs their floors with disinfectant cleaner EVERY night.
I am so glad you told me which month and year to find MARGY's visit LYNN...I got lost on your blog going backwards. Some great pictures. How shocked I was when the intruder eagle invaded Belle's space...I had the same experience when I saw your pictures.WONDERFUL posts. Thanks LYNN.
We saw armadillos in Florida, too. The kids had a blast chasing them with a golf cart. It's still one of the things they like to talk about when we discuss our visit to Disney World.
Not sure the Disney people really expected them to be using the golf cart for that purpose. I think Rus was the only one technically old enough to drive at that time.
nick is in the livibg room tossing his hoof around...dug it out from under the table then he tossed it behind the sofa...had to move the sofa to get it...found 2 hooves!
I am going to a craft festival...sunfest..in ocean city tomorrow...hope we get some sun for it ...50% chance of showers for sat and sun...buit that's better than the preious forecast
We had some minor flooding at my development today...could see it when I got home
Dustin came home with us this evening and plans to help me in the shop tomorrow:) Jillian finally made it over to join us on Family Friday! It was soo good to see her GG was not feeling very well, said she felt like her leg was broken. She said she didn't have any falls...we'll see how she is tomorrow
WANDA No Tomorrow morning I go to meet with others to beach the boat...we'll take the boat out and paddle fast to beach her and then turn her upside down and clean it...we will also fix the beach for the old lady who is also legally blind who allows us to use her property and who stores our boat. Her name is Donna and she is very kind and generous. We'll probably be there for two hours, around thirty or forty people should make the work lighter... We'll go for coffee afterwards and then I will go to yoga.
Hi, Everyone, It's taken me just about forever to catch up here!
Lots of prayers for little Bobby kitty!!! Sure am glad he's come back to you, Lori! I'm positive he feels more at home there, and less stressed. I hope LeRoy kitty is doing well. I'm so upset that they weren't adopted together. I'm sure that Bobby loves being back in your tender care, Lori! Have you heard how Andie kitty is doing? Wanda, I'm glad your neighbors are giving the black kitten a home. Uh, they ARE feeding it CAT food, aren't they?
Kay, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Julie! Good to see you, Kay! So glad Julie & family spent the day with you!
Lynne2, omigosh--I was afraid the title wasn't clear on that car! Didn't want to say so, 'cause I didn't want to jinx the situation. Getting the title on a new car SHOULD be easy! Sorry you have to look for another car, but yikes--good riddance! Prayers, AND ((HUGS)) for your situation!
Lynn, hope you can figure out the wiring on the new stereo speakers. Glad you got the stuck CDs out of the old one!
Oh, Lynne, that dealer SHOULD reimburse you for whatever money you put into that car!
Jim, I went "grossery" shopping late this afternoon, and it was so weird--the sun was shining, but it was raining!--Go figure!
Shirley, I love the tree-climbing goats! When I was a kid in Utah, our neighbor had a goat named "N.G." (for "Nanny Goat") that climbed their huge, old apple tree. A fond memory.
Lynn, lots of prayers for Liesl! Sure hope her tummy's better in the morning!
Wow, hi, Delphia! It's great to see you here! Hope all is well at your roost!
Congratulations, Hoda! It's an honor to have you as an official Momster!
Lynne2, LOVE the Irish song! PERFECT! It's got my vote!
Hi, Margy, a big "HELLO!" to James! Enjoy your sister's visit!
Oh, my! Still no news of Hope?! PRAYERS!!!!
Paula, glad you & Nick made it there safely! Have a great weekend.
Wanda, prayers for GG! Hope she feels better, soon!
Well, I'm up past my bedtime, so think I'll call it a day. Have said prayers for everyone, and every creature--especially Bobby kitty and Leisl. Making sure the porch light is on. Enabling both security systems. Sleep tight, everyone. God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! :o]
JO, I hope the whole family got to enjoy Marcus' birthday festivities! Hope you post the traditional 1st-birthday-call-all-over-the-place-and-face picture!
HODA, What a wonderful couple to support your rowing team through the practices, too! Hope a video turns up!
LORETTA, You have the best office location in the world! Mine, on Rockville Pike, offers nothing in the way of nature's beauty or wildlife. Lucky you!
LYNN, LOL!!! My stomach can't take much either. I should be skinny with all my pets and their tummy troubles! Sorry you missed dinner, but very proud of you for getting the stereo set up all by yourself!
OKAY, gonna have to shorten my comments or you'll never get through this novel! Lots of posts lasat night! Sorry I missed it.
LYNNE, anyway we can help you with your car shopping? Maybe you can post a WANTED: list and we can help you search. :)
ANDY, It's still early, so I'll wait until Bobby is up and around more before I judge how he is feeling today. Going to visit Andie kitty today and make sure she's okay. Bobby is far & away the most sensitive of the bunch.
Prayers for LEISL to feel better and hope that HOPE is found now! Glad to hear that Petsmart disinfects their floors every night, LYNN.
WANDA, So sorry to hear the GG is not feeling well. You think it's mostly pain from her leg? Please keep us posted.
PAULA, Glad you're safe and sound at the bea-h. Can't wait to hear about your morning sightings!
KAY, how was the birthday party last night? What was the take-out dinner? I'm hoping you're feeling better today. I agree that you were probably more ill than you realized. ♥ ((BIG HUGS))
I'm sorry to hear that Leisl is not feeling well. I hope she gets better soon. Mr. Boomerang threw up, but it was an article of clothing as usual. I'm telling you this lab has a steel stomach. We are so lucky that this stuff comes up, I don't know where he finds stuff. Sometimes I think he takes it right out of the laundry basket. We are so careful, but he still manages to get stuff. I guess we are not careful enough.
Feeling like today is going to be a lazy day, but I really need to clean this house. Yuck. That's the only problem with being back in school. Nothing gets done at home. But who cares?
Oh and I finally got my "report" back on my lesson plans. Got an "A" not really a grade, but got all positive feedback. It's a combination of a check on our plan book and a unannounced observation.
Just the change in seasons is enough to make me not get anything done...a gray day is a sure lazy day. I need to turn that around into a "great-day-for-a-project-day"!
WOW WOW I went to bed caught up with he blog and now dear eagle momster and dadster now there are over 100 comments to read, did you all have sleeping last nite
This really feels weird not leaving for work I feel I am late which I know I'm not I did wake up at 6 when my clock normally goes off My body clock didn't reset it self LOL Ok back to reading
DanaMo...that DOG. BAD DOG! We had a client where I worked years ago who had a Golden who was REALLY bad about eating ANYTHING. Had to keep a basket muzzle on him most of the time. He cost them over 10K in vet bills over the years for endoscopies, surgeries, medications, behavior training and meds etc. But as hard as they tried, he'd keep getting things and the last thing he got was the LAST thing....they finally euthanized him. It was so very sad.
Congrats on the A DANAMO great work on your lesson plan and I would say a A was a grade other wise they you just say good work you would think OH my goodness I have breezed through the blog and still have time Hip Hip hooray
Lori, I appreciate the offer of help with the car. However, with our situation being what it is....not sure what we'll do.
When we sold the truck, we had more money to spend on a car than what we actually spent. We used the rest to do some work on the Saturn, and take care of some other pending things. NOW, we are limited to being able to spend ONLY what we paid for this car. I searched and searched and there are just no dealers with cars in our price range, inspected, and with a warranty, except for the one we bought from. We are unable to finance any part of a price above that as Steve is not "technically" employed and wouldn't be able to get even a tiny loan. Even if he could, because many people are giving credit away at crazy interest rates, our $ situation doesn't have room for any more expenses.
Other things we have to consider is the fact that we DID get a warranty on that car and while waiting and traveling were inconvenient, they DID make good on everything. As we don't have a mechanic in the family, or any mechanical skills ourselves, that was a good thing to have it.
Most of the privates sale cars I have found don't come inspected. We'd have to pay for inspection and then any repairs needed to pass.
So, I hate to say it, but we will likely end up buying from the same dealer again.
we HAVE to have a second car. My job is 25 miles away with a slightly different schedule every day and Steve's primary working place with Ken the former landlord is 8 miles in the opposite direction. Trying to work out getting each other to work and back each day would be near impossible and we both have to be working.
I THINK and I hope and pray that it really wasn't the dealer's fault that the title couldn't clear and that while he handle me very poorly, I think he may have been just trying to get it cleared so neither of us would loose. He now has a car he paid for and can never sell. And I like to believe that when we get there today that he'll be doing a little sucking up and maybe give us a REALLY good deal.
I know Lynn, but I refuse to put one of those things on him. I am just grateful that for whatever reason he always throws it up. We have only had the one time that they thought something got stuck and we have no idea what it was or how it came out but he recovered. We were down at the beach for that one and he cost us $800. I would die if anything happened to him, he is such a sweetie, but yes, Bad, Bad!
DanaMo, Billy, that was the dog's name, would eat rocks. He's swallow whole sticks. He'd eat whole tennis balls. Nothing was too big or too challenging for him. I sure hope Boomerang never gets like THAT! I'm sure you are VERY careful. But dogs will be dogs and seem to ALWAYS find a way!
Another announcement on our chickens that get tested in the area 15 so far has encephalitis and 3 have tested positive for West Nile virus. Looks like I need to pick up some more bug wipes and spray just in case
Ok I am going to power down its almost time to go to work I don't want to be late on the first day I go in late That would be funny LOL I think NOT Its almost count down for my vacation
seems like the satellite had a change of mind about coming down when predicted.....crashdown is delayed, it might graze the sky space over Washington State, or...more likely, crash in the ocean. Maybe it has already happened. It's the size of a school bus!!
LYNNE, just be careful that you are not being too nice in forgetting what happened last time with this dealer. Have you checked with the BBB yet? What is the name of the dealership and location and I'll run some checks right now.
I just found one fat monarch caterpillar munching on the now VERY pathetic milkweed, and 2 more chrysalis hanging from the fronds of my day lillies! Guess it's going to be another 2 weeks before I can take it all down!
I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere along the way! James isn't with Margy! She is at work.....James will not get to visit with Dorset....not enought time in the schedule for Margy to drive to Berkeley Springs to get him----Dorset's visit will only be til early morning.
DanaMo---congrats on your excellent assessment!
Hate to bring bad news, but things are looking more grim for our sweet Hope. Hope
Well, at midnight, I was giving Liesl a bath and washing a quilt......two messes in the crate, and she apparently laid in it. It was our first bath, and she did well.
I put a beach towel in for bedding during the night.....one more episode during the night but she had nested the towel, so mess was on the floor of the crate.
Lynne, I gave her Pepto, and just a few spoonsful of baby food this morning. Just cooked some rice, and will give her a little after it cools. Still no fever. Mucous membranes pink, skin turgor is good......
Hedgie, what does the vet say? I hope she gets better soon. It seems like it's been a couple of days, but then again the blog may just make it feel that way! LOL! Good luck to you with that, I know how hard it is when the dog is sick.
Dana, Liesl has been having these symptoms since late yesterday morning, I think!! Time gets away from this old brain. Vet says this is going around. She said that I am doing all the right things.....if not cleared up by Monday, they will be getting in more food called EM or EN canned which is an appropriate treatment...Lynne, never heard of it. What can you tell me???
One really odd thing about this dealership...it looks very fancy on the website. They state on home page they are a family business, started in 2010. Not many used car dealerships have survived these economnic tough times, let alone started one and been so seemingly successful at it. Keep your eyes open. We're all praying you get the great deal that you deserve! ♥
Good Saturday Morning Lori, DanaMo, Margy, JudyE, Lynne2, Thelma,Hedgie-Lynn/e, Shirley, and Lurkers ( :
Prayers for Liesl that her tummy gets to feeling much better. God please help her tummy feel better. Help her not to be sick anymore. Please God I ask this in your name Amen. Tears it is so hard to think of her being sick especially after meeting her. Hedgie after she gets better...whatever toy foster Mom brought throw it away. If Liesl had the rope and wasn't getting sick then it should be ok.
I'll put my eagle avatar back up later. Miss my pretty Hibiscus flower. That bush is blooming so much. The flowers are so big. Getting hummers for it and the Rose of Sharon, they are purple flowers. I am glad I don't have to do the food anymore. NAT-UR-RAIL HERE!!!! LOL
Sure seems like a lot of comments on the thread..looking back at them it looks like a "TURF WAR" lol
I see Lynne2 is helping Lolly out even though Lynne2 is a STEELERS FAN.
Lynne2 if your going to buy from the same guy. Lynne2 don't forget the GAS you have in the car make them give you the money for the gas in it. Lynne have you check Auto Trader? Or make them give you a car since you since they did make good on everything. Make sure it has a warranty!!!!!! Make sure they have title in hands!!!!
I see Delphia dropped in. I am so happy she did that way Hoda could get to meet our Birdgirl. ( : Delphia has always since I've been on the blog. Dedicated to helping injured wildlife. So many stories she use to tell us on the blog back then.
Wanda Jayden you can tell is hooked on that book. I know he has seen pictures of fire truck with Jillan and Dustin involved. Jayden looks at the book like, "Hey I know what this is it is a fire truck". lol so cute!! ( :
Good morning! Heading to Denton soon for baseball at 12 and soccer at 3. Then heading on home as they are going to the UNT game. (Univ.N. TX) Joey got his masters there and they have become big fans of UNT. Boys got their faces painted green for the last game. lol
Lynne, good luck with finding a car. Okay, Momsters prayer time for Lynne!
Lynn, so sorry about Liesl. I do hope she has better day today. Must be something she got at school. Just like school kids, they get anything that is going around.
I really need to get with it. I will be back this afternoon. Have a great day!
Getting ready to start cutting fleece for tugs. Hello muscle relaxer!
Bobby is feeling much better today. He doesn't have that pitiful look to him. He's been active and ate a little more at breakfast. Just gave him the 2nd pill of his antibiotic so it should really begin kicking in.
So LYNN, you cooking chicken and rice for Leisl? Pumpkin is supposed to be good for their tummy, too. It has a lot of fiber in it but they say it helps things "stick" together. It always helps the bullies. OH, and Dr. Dove, the owner of this year's deer hound that won the big dog show (who is also a vet) always says cottage cheese, anything dairy, will work "to stop them up."
Lori, I asked Lynne about cheese (don't have anything else dairy except sour cream) and she said NO! Just in case it might be pancreatitis---the fats would make it worse. I do have some pumpkin....OK, Lynne?
Kathryn has sometimes fixed chicken and rice for sick pets. Once she fixed some for Luna and put it in her dish. Then, she noticed that Luna was sitting looking at the dish but not eating. On checking closer, she spotted Lucky spearing pieces of the chicken and eating them while poor Luna watched longingly. The dogs in this household do not mess with the cats.
LYNN, Great advice from Lynne, about Pancreatitis. Dalai has it and fatty stuff is a big no-no.
Very funny about Lucky & Luna eating Shirley! Dalai runs this house. You can't even raise your voice to a cat before she runs in to do her cat herding. We call her Helga when she gets her strictness on!
I swannee....if jerk next door isn't running something, or burning something, the toddler is bawling her lungs out...I can't even step out for a breath of fresh air in peace. Grrrrrr.....
Oh, LYNN, I'm so sorry. I'm a quiet lover, too. Nature sounds are best.
The very first weekend I lived here the kids up the hill had a party. One of them was a drummer and they had their band playing. I thought, OMG this is why the people sold this house! Turns out it was the only party they ever had and it was only because the parents were out of town and no one to tell on them!
Lynn, sorry Liesl has been sick. Hope she's been improving.
Congratulations, DanaMo.
Didn't realize Hoda wasn't official. Well, here's another official welcome.
Lynne2, your circumstances are certainly difficult. Anyway you and Steve could just drop the other off at work and pick-up after work? Just trying to think of something helpful.
Glad Bobby seems to be feeling better.
Margy, enjoy the visit with Dorset. I know you two will have a wonderful time of catch up. Sorry James the Wise can't join you.
I see Wanda must have been drunk with excitement from seeing Dustin and Jillian for Family Friday. She stuttered several times. Do hope GG is feeling better today.
Hoda, enjoy the last outing. So nice of your group to help Donna. I'm sure she is very grateful.
I don't know, Jo.....she wasn't really in close contact with any dog but Marlon. Messaged his momma to see if he's okay, but haven't gotten a reply yet. I think they are on a bike rally. Vet says it's going around. Hopefully just a viral thing. Got some chicken cooked....will cut it up while it's warm. Easier that way....
Home for lunch and as alwyas no one around to say hey too I took the coolest picture at work this am am getting read to put on nature bloc a black bird or crow was sitting pretty to the fence and as I was taking his picture he flew up and back down so I got a picture of his back side as he flew up He was facing me and I said he didn't want his picture taken thats why he flew up and landed back down
Its a good thing I am not a paranoid person cause every time I show on the blog everyone else is not around LOL Maybe I should change deodorants LOL Just kidding Ya KNOW See ya later after work
Here is a picture of the bug zapper I have and the pictures I took at work of the bird on the fence he was facing me flew up and turned around I don't think he liked his picture taken thats why he turned around LOL
Good Luck LYNNE and STEVE on the car exchange/return/bargain hunting...
So sorry LYNN LIESL is still not feeling well and for the noise.
Thank you for th good wishes for being officially a momster...
We paddled out of the dock and then turned around and paddled hard towards the beach. There were some wonderful guys to help, husbands, grandfathers, sons and they had pipes for us to roll the boat on and it worked really well. There is a hole in the bottom of the boat which we will fix over th winter time. There were 35 of us out and we cleaned Donna's beach and she was very grateful and will have us over for a party in November...we decided to potluck it and she was glad to have us there this spring/summer.
I am off to yoga and so will talk to you all later the day.
I had the same problem, Lori. Couldn't figure out what's going on with the red pandas.
I have been pretty busy answering the door today. Hunter is off with his mom. Legions of young boys are ringing the doorbell. I finally told them that they would know that Hunter is home when they see his mom's SUV. Lord help us if she drops him off somewhere. But then I can give the door-answering responsibilities to her.
It has certainly made a difference that he has transferred to the new school. He really did not know the neighborhood kids until then.
freedom less than two hours away...or would that be "fewer than" two hours...LOL. must ask the "Grammar Girl" .
guess I was knowing I had to work, but didn't really say that. James is up at his place... won't see him til Sunday. He will enjoy hearing about the Hellos for him or would that be Helloes

Yes, it sounds like the satellite landed in the ocean. Earlier reports of debris landing in Canada seem to be in error. That is just as well. Plenty of open space in the Pacific Ocean. Maybe a few fish noticed it.
Well Adam finished the race! WOW. Huge group from all DC area schools. Sidwell Friends, Bullis, Good Counsel, Episcopal, etc...and our little Goretti. I give him credit for finishing after only training a week. Dead last, but now he has a goal, a time to beat!
Oh my Hedgie. Congrats to your Jessica, but prayers for you! I dread every time my kids go out. As a matter of fact, Andrew didn't wake me when he got home from work at 10:15 last night and he always does. I woke up shortly after 11 in a panic!
we are back! They offered us several cars, some of which were above what we paid, at an even trade. SO....we now are the proud owners of a LUXURY car! LOL! A 1998 Nissan Maxima. It was for sale at 4500. It's really nice, much better than the Mazda. Details later, gotta run some errands!
Okay, Lynne, Thanks! Congrats on accomplishing your mission. Hope there are no snags this time! And thank goodness they were "gracious" enough to do the even trade.
Hurray for Adam!!! Know you are proud, DanaMo. I'm relieved that for now Jess can't drive without an adult!
Hoda, sad that your season is over, but sounds like a fun ending!! And nice to have a gathering to look forward to in Nov.!
Not intentionally playing a disappearing act on you, just busy yesterday and suffering with a doozy of a migraine to day.
Yesterday I was canning and picking up new glasses and the day got away from me.
This morning I woke up with an awful migraine and am still feeling no relief from meds for it. Am sick to my stomach, too, so I won't read back or stay on today.
Miss you all and will be back in full swing tomorrow......God Willing!
Shirley, glad the door bell ringing has stopped. Maybe you should plan a meet-and-greet with moms. That would be a good way to get to know them. Afternoon tea?
Lynn, so sorry about Liesl. Sure wish I knew what to tell you. She probably feels bad about the accidents.
Lynne, congratulations. I do hope everything will go smoothly this time. At least you were treated respectfully and got a better car in the bargain. You and Steve certainly deserve a break.
Linda, hope your migraine disappears quickly. No fun at all.
Lynn sorry LIESL is still not well...maybe time to call the vet?
A beautiful summer like day here and people are back in shorts and bathing suits and there is a lot of positive experiences happening at the park...
Yoga was good, it was with Cass the youngest of the teachers and she is not knowing what she wants to do with her life so is taking two months off to figure it out...The youth seems very fragile to me, teens to thirty somethings is what I call youth...their world does not seem to be too stable, expectations do not meet the realities of thier experiences...They have such a hard time making ends meet...almost all of my yoga teachers hold two jobs if not three or four to just get by...They also get paid by the number of students in attendance so the income from yoga fluctuates...I have respect for them.
OK, so the car is BIG, compared to the Saturn. It has a cassette and CD and AM FM BOSE stereo system. Moon roof. Power seats, tilt steering, cruise control. Pretty much all the bells and whistles. Power seats power windows. It's gold. oh, driver side lumbar control! LOL! Really happy with the fact that the mileage is so low for the age. It runs really, really nice! There were 2 other cars that I liked, but we test drove the Nissan first and as I said, Steve was in love. He doesn't like gold, he's a "dark" color person. We have the 3 month warranty. I am pleased so far! You know, I said to Steve the other day that maybe all the problems we had with the Mazda would only work out in our favor later. And it DID!
I'm down to 50 yet to read so I need to go to the kitchen and step away from the tube for a while neck says so and I must listen to my neck It know best LOL
YEAH LOLLY for the win by Joseph team you looks so proud in the picture on facebook
There is a home video coming up on NBC news of the space junk comin up on the news Just in case you want to watch not for sure if it will be since its our local but you might want to check the only station with news right now games on all other OK commercial almost over
LORI The bug zapper works great I would recommend them if someone has the chance to get one Mine was 5.00 at work Angies FIL use to sell them for I think about 10.00 in his shop said they were more a novelty He is a bug exterminator so I guess being its not poison he considers it a novelty LOL

Oh, yes, Lynne----2 big episodes of diarrhea, and vomited once. No "new" food per brand/flavor but just opened a new bag yesterday. No fever.
Thanks for the link LYNNE. Very catchy and cheerful.
Loved that song, Lynne! I have never heard it. Think we should make that our theme song!
Yep. Under Armour. I purchased a pair for Hunter.
OK SHIRLEY now I see the link to the under armour...I will wish both teams luck and hope no one gets hurt in the game Monday.
Hoda, Margy and James took the Amtrak train to Massachusettes to visit her sister a couple of years ago. I picked them up at our train station when they returned...there are pics on my blog!
July of 2009, Hoda!
Interesting comments about the Under
Armour--It seems that a lot of military guys in hot climates wear them.
Welcome Officially Aboard, Hoda
Now THAT's the way to celebrate an Autumnal Equinox !!
Certainly hope that no one gets hurt in the game.
Heading for the tub. Hope I don't wake up Liesl....she is in the basement in her crate.
BTW---I saw lots of armadillos in FL when Mom lived there. She even had one living under her lanai slab....a guy had to come trap it and take it away.
OH Lynn...
I am sorry I did not post this last night:
James said to tell you Thank You Again for picking us up after that trip
AND, he also said to say HI to the people on the Blog. So: "Hello" from James ! ☺
New bear update with no information about Hope's where-abouts. :(
Night
I remember the Sky Lab Parties, Shirley...back in ... 1980?? or so, and now I need to catch up on the latest space debris news
Helllllllllllo James! Right back atcha!!!
Satellite could be falling anytime from now for the next couple of hours.
I am off to shower and then to bed.
Night all! Sweet dreams!
Prayers for Hope and little Liesl. Hope she is better tomorrow, Lynn!
geesh Lynn. Maybe call the vet tomorrow if she isn't any better? Poor little thing.
That IS a catchy cute little tune isn't it! I'll vote for making it our blog theme song!
still reading backwards,
but I just read the Hope report....
very worrisome....
Prayers for Hope's safe return
Good Night Precious Pals, for those greeting the pillows for the night ...
ttfn xo ♥
Checked for a Hope update---nothing else tonight...so far.
Good night, dear friends. Prayers and peace.
MARGY I love your Massachusetts pictures. It must have been a great trip. You look so happy. Have you seen your sister since?
Hello to whomever is still awake!
At the beach safe and sound...
Check out the google logo...really cute
Nick is happy to be out of the car and so is my arse :)
Hi Paula, I am still up. Playing around with avatars.
Have a great weekend! Hugs for Nick! Know he is going to have fun chasing minnows! lol
So Hoda, you found your way in...good :)
I have a purring kitty at my side. I am going to have to leave him, though, and head upstairs. I am getting sleepy.
Hi, Paula. Glad you are safely there.
Ha ha that's funny Shirley
Lolly like the avatar even though I don't like those boys !
Hi james!
Rest well Shirley
I am going to a craft festival...sunfest..in ocean city tomorrow...hope we get some sun for it ...50% chance of showers for sat and sun...buit that's better than the preious forecast
We had some minor flooding at my development today...could see it when I got home
Gonna take nick out again...then will hit the hay...probly catch up on the blog til I fall asleep
Nite friends
(((Hugs for all)))
oh Lynn, I sure hope she's had no exposure. But she's vaccinated so if there has been, it should only be a very mild case.
I've got to get to bed. I am bleary eyed from car shopping.
Have fun this weekend Paula!
Good night everyone, and prayers for all!
Glad to read you are home away from home, Paula and Nick... had you waited til morning, you would have probably been driving in the fog....
so sorry to read of Lynn's Liesl's ailment, sure hope all is well in the morning..
also hoping Lori's Bobby will respond quickly to medicines and start perking up soon.
Hope Teresa and Max arrived at Diann's and are all tucked in now
and how about that, Michigan is coming to Ohio, in the form of Kay's daughter Eileen to visit in October ! ☺
Yes, Paula. Google is Great !!
Hoda, my sister is 6 years older than I....
she will be visiting with Annandale Anne on Saturday, then coming here
hoping to read, if not soon, then in the morning that
Wanda and GG and the Gang had Family Friday Night fun ☺
If I don't hit the sack, then Judie's pal "nappy" will be visiting me during worktime Saturday.....
Hope Sleep is Sweet, for all pets and people tonight
God Bless Us, Every One

HODA, did you get the boat cleaned up and put away?
HODA, did you get the boat cleaned up and put away?
Dustin came home with us this evening and plans to help me in the shop tomorrow:)
Jillian finally made it over to join us on Family Friday! It was soo good to see her
GG was not feeling very well, said she felt like her leg was broken. She said she didn't have any falls...we'll see how she is tomorrow
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
SLEEP WELL
PRAYERS FOR ALL
WANDA No Tomorrow morning I go to meet with others to beach the boat...we'll take the boat out and paddle fast to beach her and then turn her upside down and clean it...we will also fix the beach for the old lady who is also legally blind who allows us to use her property and who stores our boat. Her name is Donna and she is very kind and generous. We'll probably be there for two hours, around thirty or forty people should make the work lighter...
We'll go for coffee afterwards and then I will go to yoga.
OH I hope GG's leg is alright. Keep us posted Wanda.
Good night Sweet Dreams and God Bless.
Hi, Everyone,
It's taken me just about forever to catch up here!
Good Morning Eagle Family!
HELLOOOO JAMES!
Judie, I'm hoping you will add a few more verses to your special rendition of Monday Monday!
KAY, how was the birthday party last night? What was the take-out dinner?
I'm hoping you're feeling better today. I agree that you were probably more ill than you realized. ♥
((BIG HUGS))
Good Saturday morning everyone!
Kay-Happy Birthday to Julie. I hope you had a fantastic night!
Good Morning DanaMO!
Poor Boomer! That would upset anyone's stomach!
Just the change in seasons is enough to make me not get anything done...a gray day is a sure lazy day. I need to turn that around into a "great-day-for-a-project-day"!
It's pretty wet outside DanMO. Will you still go running?
Finally getting light out now. Eagles could be in the nest, but who knows?
BOTH CAMS ARE STILL DOWN. :(
Good Morning Eagle Pals...
Congratulations DanaMo on the Positives on your Lesson Plans....no surprise! Bravo!
Clap Clap Clap !!!
Hoping that dear GG feels better this morning, and YAY - Dustin for the week-end for The Captain and First Mate!
Let's hope the weather cooperates with everyone's plans today....
Getting ready to head out for the work day...
Best Wishes for a Good Day, Everyone ! ...
"See you," Later !
xoxo ♥
G☺☺D M☼RNING ÉÄGLÉ BÃœDs Ö

Googles avatar is cute it for Jim Henson 75 the Birthday
Good Morning all!
Special prayers for our four legged furry friend on the blog who are not feeling well
Congrats on the A DANAMO great work on your lesson plan and I would say a A was a grade other wise they you just say good work you would think OH my goodness I have breezed through the blog and still have time Hip Hip hooray
Now to go get dressed I usually get up and get dressed right away but not today Ok gonna step away from the puter and head to the rocker for some news
The reviews came out for Winter I guess almost everyone cried at it A good cry so if you go take tissue
I don't know....
Good morning eagle family.
I guess everyone is gone. I will catch you all later. I hope you make a great day.
Hi T-Bird...sorry I might have missed you....
GOOD MORNING!
seems like the satellite had a change of mind about coming down when predicted.....crashdown is delayed, it might graze the sky space over Washington State, or...more likely, crash in the ocean. Maybe it has already happened.
It's the size of a school bus!!
How is Justin doing, T-Bird?
Best wishes, Lynne...
maybe I would say Good Luck, but rather would say:
Prayers for a successful car-finding expedition
(( Hugs ♥ ))
Good Morning THELMA, Buddy, JUDY E & LYNNE!
DANAMo, Congrats on your "A"! Very nice.
LYNNE, just be careful that you are not being too nice in forgetting what happened last time with this dealer. Have you checked with the BBB yet? What is the name of the dealership and location and I'll run some checks right now.
Good Morning MARGY! I just found you scrolling back up! Is this a day off for you? Another HELLO JAMES!
Lori, the website is Diamond Auto in Pasadena Md. and that is what the sign out front says. But the paperwork all says Quality Auto Sales.
I just found one fat monarch caterpillar munching on the now VERY pathetic milkweed, and 2 more chrysalis hanging from the fronds of my day lillies! Guess it's going to be another 2 weeks before I can take it all down!
Got it. Thanks Lynne. Consider me searching now.
thanks Lori!
LYNNE, Check your email.
Morning all!
JudyE---always takes a little while to adjust the bod to a new time clock! You'll be fine in a couple of days.
Lori, so sweet of you to try to help Lynne!
Thelma....you fly in and out so fast! What are you going to do today? Anything special??
Adam has his for Cross Country meet for Goretti today! Go Gaels and good luck to Adam!
Busy day at the Hilmoe house.
Hedgie, what does the vet say? I hope she gets better soon. It seems like it's been a couple of days, but then again the blog may just make it feel that way! LOL! Good luck to you with that, I know how hard it is when the dog is sick.
The satellite pieces have now returned to earth. Maybe in western Canada. Hoda, hope all is well in your area.
Oh--good morning.
Oh Lynn...not fun wee wee hour activities. Hope Liesl gets better today!
VERY disturbing report on Hope. Monday is such a long way off....
The satellite fell into the Pacific, harmlessly.
What can you tell me???
it's a gastroenteric diet for dogs Lynn. Basically a bland diet in a can with appropriate nutrients. Very good for tummy upset.
Okay...thanks, Lynne!
LYNNE - you have email.
Lynne, you've got mail.
Good Saturday Morning Lori, DanaMo, Margy, JudyE, Lynne2, Thelma,Hedgie-Lynn/e, Shirley, and
Lurkers ( :
Prayers for Liesl that her tummy gets to feeling much better. God please help her tummy feel better. Help her not to be sick anymore. Please God I ask this in your
name Amen. Tears it is so hard to think of her being sick especially after meeting her. Hedgie after she gets better...whatever toy foster Mom brought throw it away. If Liesl had the rope and wasn't getting sick then it should be ok.
Margy tell James Hi when you see him again. I know you are getting a visit from you sister Dorset and her son. Enjoy the short visit.
DanaMo great lesson plan A way to go !! ( :
Good luck to Adam on his Cross Country meet.
DanaMo, congratulations on your good evaluation. Always nice when you get that behind you.
So many variables--something a kid might say or do, the biases of the administrator, and many more.
Lynne2 don't forget the GAS you have in
the car make them give you the money for the gas in it. Lynne have you check Auto Trader?
Or make them give you a car since you since they did make good on everything. Make sure it has
a warranty!!!!!! Make sure they have title in hands!!!!
Hoda be smart stay neutral!!!! hee hee
I see Delphia dropped in. I am so happy she did that way Hoda could get to meet our Birdgirl. ( :
Delphia has always since I've been on the blog. Dedicated to helping injured wildlife. So many stories she use to tell us on the blog back then.
Always good to hear from Paula and Nick!!!
Wanda Jayden you can tell is hooked on that book. I know he has seen pictures of fire truck with Jillan and Dustin involved. Jayden looks at the book like, "Hey I know what this is it is a fire truck". lol so cute!! ( :
Prayers for GG's leg. I wonder why it started hurting???
YEAH HODA OFFICALLY A MOMSTER. ALTHOUGH I ALWAYS CONSIDERED HER AS ONE!! Beaching the dragon boat today and preparing it for winter.
Lynne I enjoyed the Makem & Clancy video. I know everyone enjoyed it!
Lynne2's Video of Animals and Music
Hi Lolly Bye Lolly lol Have fun !!! Did you paint your face green. I bet you did NOT!!
Margy, you have e-mail.
Thanks for all prayers for my sweet nuggems!
Good Afternoon everyone - Sun is shinning - Nothing planned in particular
Hoping that Liesl's tummy settles down.
Do you think she picked up something at
college class? I know you will take good care of her.
BBILW
LYNN, Great advice from Lynne, about Pancreatitis. Dalai has it and fatty stuff is a big no-no.
Very funny about Lucky & Luna eating Shirley! Dalai runs this house. You can't even raise your voice to a cat before she runs in to do her cat herding. We call her Helga when she gets her strictness on!
Need to go pickup perscription.
Hope everyone has a good day.
Lori that sounds good about Bobby still keeping him in prayer PETS
Liesl I'm praying your tummy gets much much better and soon you are back to playing around HUGS & Pets
I was amused to watch Flash and Luna patiently waiting while Lucky got a drink. After Lucky finished, the dogs happily drank together.
Good afternoon.
Too far behind.
Separate comment: very concerned for Hope. That little one sure has had some ups and downs.
Yes I too am very sadden about Hope's disappearance. Hope they get some info soon. ((hugs)) ♥
Home for lunch and as alwyas no one around to say hey too I took the coolest picture at work this am am getting read to put on nature bloc a black bird or crow was sitting pretty to the fence and as I was taking his picture he flew up and back down so I got a picture of his back side as he flew up He was facing me and I said he didn't want his picture taken thats why he flew up and landed back down
that was blog not bloc I say it as it was sending
Its a good thing I am not a paranoid person cause every time I show on the blog everyone else is not around LOL Maybe I should change deodorants LOL Just kidding Ya KNOW See ya later after work
Hi, Judie! No, Liesl isn't much better.....just cleaned up another mess....but the amount is getting smaller, so I guess that's a good sign---I hope.
I, too, am so sad about Hope...trying to hold on to some hope....
My delete a sec ago link didn't take on the pic
Here is a picture of the bug zapper I have and the pictures I took at work of the bird on the fence he was facing me flew up and turned around I don't think he liked his picture taken thats why he turned around LOL
Bird on fence and bug zapper and wood stork
Red Panda Alert
DC Zoo
http://nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/GiantPandas/
Nice crow pics JudyE, and that wood stork is beautiful! What a nice drive to work you have.
How does that bug zapper work?
JO, what's the ALERT? I went to zoo page and couldn't even get to the cameras. Is there something up with the Red Panda cubs?
I got the Red Panda cam...it says ALARM in digital letters on the screen and the pandas look like they're pacing.
I am sad about HOPE report.
ENJOY.
He will enjoy hearing about the Hellos for him
or would that be Helloes

the weather is grand here today !
Nothing on Canadian news about the debris from the satellite...so I am glad that it went into the pacific and hope the fish got out of the way.
oh yes, saw that- earlier postss... and thanks for the reminder about it Hoda...all my work-mates are interested about it also
HODA, I bet you all made Donna's week...well, her whole summer. Awesome!
Hello MARGY! I can feel your bright, cheery smile from here. You sounds so happy about your overdue weekend. :)
Yes, it sounds like the satellite landed in the ocean. Earlier reports of debris landing in Canada seem to be in error. That is just as well. Plenty of open space in the Pacific Ocean. Maybe a few fish noticed it.
SHIRLEY, door bells would count as one of those annoyances like LYNN has been having with Mr. Neighbor today. Happy that Hunter is popular!
It's sure turned out to be a pretty day here. Jo, how about down your way? Hope so, for the fair!
Oh, my-----Jessica passed the written test for her Learner's Permit! Now Grandma can worry some more.
Shirley
the little pitter patter of little doorbell ringers
sounds nice....hope they are good kids!
contratulations to Jessica, Grandma Hedgie
Congrats, DanaMo for your son, finishing the race
and Hoda, sounds like a great ending to a wonderful paddling year
new word
contratulations
need to start getting rady to leave in 65 mins for two days off
might be awhile before I check back in again....
Hope it is a GOOD day for our Momsters and Dadsters

Contratulations to Jessica. Prayers for strength for grandma Lynn.
And, congratulations to Adam.
Congratulations to Adam and Jessica!
It seems to have worked; no more doorbell ringers since I told them to look for Hunter's mom's car.
I, too, hope they are good kids, Margy. I have met Anthony's parents. They have lived here many years, and he was one of the bell ringers.
Anthony seems very nice. The others have been polite, but I don't know their parents.
I only did the Red Panda Alert because they were out and about - I love their faces. Don't know about the cam right now.
Weather is good - last day for Fair I think.
Getting ready for Mass - BBILW
we are back! They offered us several cars, some of which were above what we paid, at an even trade. SO....we now are the proud owners of a LUXURY car! LOL! A 1998 Nissan Maxima. It was for sale at 4500. It's really nice, much better than the Mazda. Details later, gotta run some errands!
SMALL amount of pumpkin should be OK Lynn!
We just had another episode.....
Oh dear, Lynn.
Hope it goes well this time, Lynne.
Good Saturday Afternoon!
Miss you all and will be back in full swing tomorrow......God Willing!
xoxo ♥
Shirley, glad the door bell ringing has stopped. Maybe you should plan a meet-and-greet with moms. That would be a good way to get to know them. Afternoon tea?
Lynn, so sorry about Liesl. Sure wish I knew what to tell you. She probably feels bad about the accidents.
Lynne, congratulations. I do hope everything will go smoothly this time. At least you were treated respectfully and got a better car in the bargain. You and Steve certainly deserve a break.
Linda, hope your migraine disappears quickly. No fun at all.
Sounds like a nice idea, Judie.
Sorry Liesl is still ailing, Lynn.
well, no errands run yet. Had to kill 400 stinkbugs. OMG! GROOOOOSSSSSS!
Lynn, now I am worried about Liesl. Keep a close eye on her hydration and temp.
Congratulations to Adam and Jessica.
Wow Hoda, sounds like a very successful group effort today!
LINDA I hope the migraine goes away.
It was TERRIFIC LYNNE to work and it was only two hours for thirty five people so we did do a lot and no one was overly tired.
Congratulations on the new Nissan. I am glad that it went well for you.
Shirley, all that doorbell ringing....must have been like HALLOWEEN!
SO sorry you have a migraine Linda. Feel better soon, and we will SING!
Looks like Paula is having a wet day today. HOWEVER, I just LOVE walking the beach in the rain!
BBL.
And it DID!
Saw 2 more migrating Monarchs on the way home, too! And at the dealer, 3 Red Shouldered Hawks!
I thought I would post this here. The Young often get bad press, yet so many do such wonderful things. Here is an example.Runner Carries Injured Foe and Continues with the race after he returns him to his coaches!!!
I saw that Hoda!
