Poor Brother Cat is not doing well again. We are back to square on in with the diarrhea. So tomorrow, the vet is going to do a ultrasound to see if she can find anything. No charge for me to have it done, God bless her! She's going to change his meds, too. UGH.
wow, just found a stinkbug ON the trash can! And earlier, we had 4 in the bathroom, 4 in the bedroom, one in the hall, 3 in the cover of the lightbulb over the stove, one on the kitchen curtains, one on the living room curtains, and of course the one on the tissue. GROOOOOSSSSSSS
I sure miss the days when I could take a shower without inspecting the bathtub and shower curtain, and just take the towel down and use it without having to inspect it first. I'm tired of checking the bed before I get in, of being dive bombed in the night, of opening a cabinet and having one fly in my face....really, this is unacceptable. May I have some cheese to go with my WHINE.
They'll check for masses, primarily, and any abnormalities in the intestines and other organs. I'm not sure if I'd rather they find something or not. Either way, tough decisions will have to be made if we cannot get the diarrhea under control.
Gosh I thought I will just check the BLOG before heading to bed to say good night. I had checked the cam about hour and a half ago and nest was empty BUT there she is. Oh My. Are we in the delivery room? I can only watch a little while. I am tired and have a long drive end of week. So trying to get good rest before heading on out of here.
I'm heading to bed. Good night and prayers for all!
Oh, she's awake!
Let's see, Margy should check in when she gets home, then Andy, then hopefully Lori will check in after that...I'll surely be up for a wee hour wandering. Then hopefully Lori will check in again, then Megan will be up...we should have pretty good overnight coverage!
Mai has been very good since I got out of the tub. This afternoon was awful.....how ironic that she ruined my sweatshirt that has "Dogs Leave Paw Prints on Our Hearts" embroidered on it, huh??? It now has 8 torn holes in it. Personal behavior trainer still has not called me back.......
January 20, 2011 We are excited that the eagles have been working hard to set up the nest for another nesting season. Dawn, midday and dusk seems to be the best time to view them right now. There has been mating activity occuring for more than a week, which is a good sign.
We have been able to adjust the new cam to work fairly well in night vision mode, so we are ready for the eggs to be laid. We are hoping to see the first egg within about about two weeks, toward the beginning of February.
From Bears: It is satisfying to listen to the sounds from the den. Strong, healthy cries from the cubs tell Lily what to do, and she responds. The few plaintive tones from Hope and the few times she nurses now, compared with before the births, show she is not stealing too much milk. With both Hope and the cubs nursing, Lily won’t be ovulating because of too little nursing this year.
Well, I was watching Castle and Michael called, actually is was Ashley...talked with both, so just now finished up watching Castle which I recorded.
So, looks like it is going to be an interesting night. Wonder what it is about the eagles laying eggs a week early. What do they know that we don't? LOL
Good grief......could go as high as 45-50 in the city tomorrow. Sure hope it filters this way! Loretta, you'll need shorts for sure!!! Glad your preps are going well.
This Saturday the family is celebrating Zach's birthday. Michael has booked a room at Great Wolf Lodge and paying for passes so the whole family will be there. Actually, his family is not staying but he is letting Laurel and family stay. Google it! It is an indoor water park.
Wed is the party day for Alexis turning 6 . May get some bad weather and postpone Pizza Party until Thurs. Just have to wait and see. On Saturday she and 3 friends are going to 'Way Off Broadway' here in Frederick to see the performance of 101 Dalmatians. Lunch of peanut butter sandwiches I think! Should be fun for them!
Lolly, she just suddenly attacks....jumps and bites. If the clothes have any give, it tears them. If not, it's ME that ends up with holes and tears. Have never dealt with this before, and nothing I try is working. She's like a wild animal.
I will talk to you all tomorrow! Any bets on how many of us will be checking the camera through the night??? Think this is as good as the light will be tonight---no stars or moon. Prayers for all in need.
JIm was away last week in VA. He was picked up by our son, Mike, and Teresa's husband. They left here about 4:30 am Friday, Jan.14, and was there for Max's b-day party. Then Teresa & Max brought him home Wednesday, Jan 19. They only stayed for 2 days but it's great to see the little guy.
Hi Diann...I guess it will just be you and Lolly. Margy will probably join you shortly. I hav Soup Kitchen tomorrow and have to take GG to her hairdresser, so I need to get up earlier than usual.
It's been so cold here! Couldn't get the house temp up to a comfortable level and had to use the oven to warm the kitchen.
Had to call the oil contractor that put in the new furnace and left them know I was NOT happy. Tonight seems a bit better and as much as I like winter, I'm ready for spring.
Remember Margy's welcoming committee at Open House? She came in late, after work, and we all applauded her:) Maybe you weren't there that year, Lolly. NITE!
I think we might have been worried to pieces if she had stayed in the nest last night....the coldest night of the winter so far ! Must feel like the tropics in there tonight
I was so glad to see you all up and around I've been watching for a couple hours but sleep is going to get the best of me soon, so I'll check in in the morning to see if any good news Goodnight all
Belle has her head tucked and is sound asleep. If she has an egg in the morning, there is a good chance she had it around 1:20. She was going through some gyrations. LOL However, she made no sound...had the ol earbuds in.
Nite Margy, nite all, Sweet dreams! ( of eaglets!!)
Hi, Gang! I'm home from school. Class ran late tonight. Thanks to all of you for your school prayers for me--I got an A on tonight's English test!!!!! YAY! Thank God!!! It was pretty tough. Some people only got 36% on it!
Please say some prayers for a couple of people. Danielle, my classmate, was at school, but got a call from her hubby and had to leave. Their son, Colin, who's 3 yrs. old, had a nasty asthma attack, and the inhaler was doing nothing for him, so he had to go to the E.R. They will probably keep him overnight for observation. Cindy, my other classmate, just got out of the hospital today. She was given a medication by Costco pharmacy, and it was red this time instead of yellow tablets. She asked them if the coloring was from shellfish, and they said no, but--you guessed it! Shellfish coloring. She is allergic, and she spent 2 days in the hospital hooked up to an I.V. to balance her electrolytes and hydrate her. She was SO sick!!! At least Costco has admitted their mistake, and will pick up the hospital bill for her! :o]
Golly, how cool that Belle is in the nest tonight! Sure hope it's not so cold tonight! Bless her heart. I'm glad it's light enough to actually see her!
Lynn, I'm so sorry that Mai is being so naughty! Hope the trainer calls you back, pronto! Prayers for that situation, for sure! Emma occasionally nips at us in play, but as soon as we say "NO BITE," she stops and gives us kisses to make up. She hasn't snagged any of our clothes yet, either. It does sound as if Mai is trying to be the Alpha dog. Maybe we should pass the hat and call Cesar Millan!
Well, I am absolutely worn out tonight, so think I will call it a day. Judie, thanks for turning on the night light! The porch light is on too. Prayers have been said for everyone--for animals in need of healing, too, and for our eagles and the bears. The eye-scanner security and Dana's thumbprint-scanner security are enabled. Sleep tight, everyone, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you! :o]
Here's what I saw: Belle stretched hugely. craning her neck way out from side to side almost reaching her tail feathers, and her mouth opened though I can't have the sound on in the studio here. Then she turned around and got into the nest cup, put her head down inside the cup, then turned around and sat down in the nest cup again and wiggled her tail feathers.
Yeah BE - that's what she's been doing. Seems like she laid an egg, but she hasn't gotten off the nest. Funny how she keeps craning her neck to her tail, then directly beneath her - like under her chest. Who knows?
YAWN... One of two things is going on in the nest...there is an egg and Belle is turning it so much that it is now SCRAMBLED or...she is making the cup softer and more to her comfort??
This is so much fun, Wanda. It reminds me of being up all night waiting for horses to foal. Watching and waiting for every little twitch, kick, sign of pain, etc. I loved it!
I see that there has been a vigil all night watching over our eagles. It is interesting to see that white head in the darkness. Do we have an egg? Time will tell.

Sure hope that the weather predictions are wrong---for MANY reasons---AND that Belle waits at least a week, preferably two!
some action on bear cam

Wow! Just saw the eagle in the nest!
I say if it's time for an egg, then celebrate!

OMG there goes one walking across the stove now.
Lynne, are you having a party???
Megan, we can celebrate and pray hard, right?
Yep, do what ya gotta do:)
Sorry about Brother cat, Lynne, and all the stupid stink bugs
Lynne, what are they looking for with the ultrasound? Hope all is okay. :(
I'm beginning to dread spring...

Belle is in the nest and I too have had a few stink bugs over the last few days. Is it too early for an egg?

I think Belle has nodded off!
Awww she tucked her head. Get some rest Dear Belle
Yes, she looks very comfy.
I guess the nightlight isn't the greatest, but it sure beats nothing!
yes dear Belle, rest now...it won't be long before you'll be VERY busy!
I am going to bed now. Mabel, Bamboozle and their momma are out here eating!
Good night and sweet eagle dreams, my friends of fine feathers and fur! Love you all!
anyone get a pic for the album of our Sleeping Beauty yet?
Night Sharon!
Head looks tucked.....z-z-z-z!
hmm, looking around, then repositioned herself a little, head back under wing again.
I put pic in album.
Megan posted one on FB....did you put it in the album, Megan?
I took one...can put it in if you haven't.
G'night Sharon and Glo!
Lynne, maybe you could all go for a visit elsewhere for a couple of hours and you could set off bug bombs.....it MIGHT help.
Understand what you mean about wanting/not wanting to find something.... :( Dilemma for sure.....
Go ahead, I can't put pictures in the EM albums anymore, yahoo won't let me access any member stuff.
Love to see Belle's head under her wing
That means she is going to be there
over night and maybe longer.....
Oh Yes! An egg we will see soon......
WoW. Belle is sitting in the nest.
Looks like she will stay awhile.
MemaJo. I like "Lie to Me" with Tim Roth. Is that the one? Recorded it.
It's a good night time.
You are in my prayers.
♥
Evening, all!
Just saw the email from Sharon...thanks, Sharon...
Was busy doing other stuff and didn't have the cam up.
So, she's just sleeping in the nest, huh? Honestly can't say I've seen her do that before without an egg.
I've seen her standing in it, but not laying in it. She was stirring a moment ago, but now has head tucked back.
Yeah, she pretty much flew into the nest and laid right down in the nest cup.
BEagle, that is too funny about your boss! That's great! Glad you had a first good day.
2 HP's this evening...wow

Belle is awake
1052 Awake and looking around
Yes, BEagle - I enjoy the program..
10:55 Head Tucked....
Nope, she's still awake...looking to the right...now the left
Hoping that some very early daylight viewers may see Belle stand and there
will be our 1st egg.
Then I'll pray that the oncoming storm doesn't bring any S--W.
Think she's dozing off...wow what is that light?
Looks like headlights! I see her eye glowing
Yeah, really bright light.

Almost nighty-nite time! Finished cleaning the whole basement---just have to put new sheets on guest bed. And I have until Sat. WOOHOO
Have to make sure I dress for the heat wave in AM!!Wonder if anyone will be water skiing! LOL
Thx to those who will be able to see cams tomorrow. Can't wait to read reports!
Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Awake again and looking around.
Belle just adjusted herself slightly, now facing more to 11 than 10...just tucked her head back.
Shoulda known it was too good to last.....now I have 4 holes in my nightgown.
Well, I was watching Castle and Michael called, actually is was Ashley...talked with both, so just now finished up watching Castle which I recorded.
So, looks like it is going to be an interesting night. Wonder what it is about the eagles laying eggs a week early. What do they know that we don't? LOL

Should be fun for them!
11:44 that head is tucked........
They have a Great Wolf lodge somewhere in VA I think.
Lolly, I haven't seen her move since she tucked it back.
Put a pic in album, but see others are there, too. Oh well. I'll be anxious to see if she's still there in AM.
Nighty-nite again! ☺
Lolly, she just suddenly attacks....jumps and bites. If the clothes have any give, it tears them. If not, it's ME that ends up with holes and tears. Have never dealt with this before, and nothing I try is working. She's like a wild animal.
Lynn, have you kneed her?
I will talk to you all tomorrow! Any bets on how many of us will be checking the camera through the night??? Think this is as good as the light will be tonight---no stars or moon.
Prayers for all in need.
Oh, yes, Paula....it makes her worse.
A whistle, coins in a can, different sounds that are supposed to distract.....leash....I think a muzzle is what I need.
She just charges.....and if not jumping, then going after my feet or ankles. If I put on socks, she's trying to tear them off....
Good Night Lynn!
Paula - The water park is in Williamsburg...
BTW----it is 27 here!!! Hope that means no single digits tonight!
Bye again.
Hmmm, sounds like she is trying to be the alpha dog.
belle awake
belle is standing up
Then had her head in the fluff...now looking around...preening some back feathers.
Oh, Lynn, wish I had an answer for you. I know she is getting lots of outdoor time, and know you have tried lots of things.
Head down in the fluff again
Do you honestly think she is doing an egg roll.....
Her head went down under.......
Standing...head tucked in
Head tucked again........
No, I don't think so, Jo.
Now I see her head tucked. Had to see her move to get oriented. LOL
Had to see her tuck it to get the picture. :) Before I thought I was seeing the back of her head.
Margy should be charging in here soon
Belle looks as if she is thinking about taking off.
Wanda, Belle has her head tucked back to her left. When she is looking up the white feathers are straight across.
She got up and had her head down in the cup before she tucked her head.
This afternoon when we saw two HP's it looked like she was about to settle down in the egg cup when Lib came along with other ideas.
OK, I got the picture now...
It is sooo dark, but at least we can see her white feathers!
Are you all watching still cam or live feed?
I had to see her in the action of tucking her head to "see the picture." I just put it on full screen a sec ago and you can see it better.
Live feed here
I am sitting her yawning and watching. But my eyes are about to close so I think I best hit the pillows.
Nite Jo. I will be up for a while longer.
OK since you said you'll be here for a little while longer, gal!
Good Night All
Prayers for all especially Tyler's family & friends
Hugs to All ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Lolly, I am going to turn in for the night.
The dog is whining at me to go to bed, lol
Gnite, Lolly, and Hi Margy if you get on here... Belle is in the nest!
Good morning Lolly. Guess most are in bed making zzzz.
I see Belle is in the nest and has moved slightly a while ago, but is still right now.
Since you're on nightwatch I'm checking in to keep you company for a little.
Hi! Yes, I will be up just a little longer. We have a nice fire going and Jack will put his nose in a book if I want to stay up. Only 11:36 here.
Margy should be home soon and will probably get on.
Right, Margy? :)
Hi Diann...I guess it will just be you and Lolly. Margy will probably join you shortly. I hav Soup Kitchen tomorrow and have to take GG to her hairdresser, so I need to get up earlier than usual.
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
PRAYERS FOR ALL
It's been so cold here! Couldn't get the house temp up to a comfortable level and had to use the oven to warm the kitchen.
Had to call the oil contractor that put in the new furnace and left them know I was NOT happy.
Tonight seems a bit better and as much as I like winter, I'm ready for spring.
Glad you got to see him!
Hi Wanda! Didn't kn ow you were here too.
Will there be an egg in the am? Don't know how much longer I'll be here, but I'm watching a sleeping eagle..
Nite Wanda! Sweet dreams!
Night Wanda.
Margy? Are you here yet?
I hope an egg doesn't come yet, Diann. Was hoping for another 2 weeks, but it doesn't look like she is going to wait that long.
NITE
LOL She is going to sneak in on us. Bet she never had a welcoming committee before.
Nite, Sunshine:)
See you tomorrow, Wanda! (((hugs)))
Lolly are you 1 or 2 hours behind us?
Remember Margy's welcoming committee at Open House? She came in late, after work, and we all applauded her:) Maybe you weren't there that year, Lolly.
NITE!
Can hear the wind at the nest.
sorry, dumb question. All I had to do was look at the time you stated compared to the time I posted.
sorry.... it's late or early.
One hour behind you. Presently 11:48.
No problem! It is late!
Now, where is our Margy? She was supposed to be off at 12.
Margy, where are you?
Will you keep a vigil all night? I'm waiting for my medicine to kick in so I can sleep so I won't be here too much longer.
No, can not do the all night thing! Need my beauty sleep. Usually go to bed about this time, but I can stay up for a while.
Belle is enjoying her sleep!
Don't let me keep you from your needed sleep. I should be in bed too, but the eggcitement so soon after the bear cubs has really pumped me up.
Shall we stand and applaud when Margy comes on? LOL
It has been wild the last few days. I am really anxious to find out for sure the count of cubs in the den.
Sounds like the wind is really blowing at the nest. Wonder if it really is. My clock is striking 12.
Bummer, must join Belle and catch some zzz too.
I'll catch up with Margy another time.
Have a good night Lolly. Catch you later.
God bless & goodnight.
((hugs))
Nite! Guess I will have to start talking to myself now. :)
Margy, I am your welcoming committe of one. Welcome home! We have an eagle in the nest!!!!!
Well will it be tonight?
Hi K F! It very well could be.
No Lolly - you can talk to me !
just took me awhile to get squared away !
Okay, have read all the posts and the mounting excitement, and can just barely see the whiteness of the head feathers in the nest
Hello Happy Excited Hopeful Eagle Pals !
I think our Queen is moving her head around again
wow, sure is dark at the nest
Lolly don't think I could stand for Margy's arrival and should I miss her, Here's my applause ♪♪♪♪
starting to lose my fight with sleep, so I'm off to bed.
Bless everyone.
(((hugs))
I am standing and applauding, Margy! LOL Have been waiting for you. Belle has her head tucked and is sleeping.
I think we might have been worried to pieces if she had stayed in the nest last night....the coldest night of the winter so far !
Must feel like the tropics in there tonight
I hear the choo choo
I was so glad to see you all up and around I've been watching for a couple hours but sleep is going to get the best of me soon, so I'll check in in the morning to see if any good news Goodnight all
Hear the train! Love the earbuds.
Belle has her head tucked. It is tucked to the left. It is hard to make out.
Hi Margy, goodnight Margy. Was just leaving when you posted.
Blesses.
Thanks everyone for the welcoming and anticipating...I appreciate the warm thoughts....
have to tell you...I was able to get the cam up and did so about 10 pm
Just about fell off the seat and brought everyone around to see it !
I was dying to get to the blog and read what everyone was saying !
Nite K F! Sweet dreams!
I am so glad you can watch it at work, Margy. I know you were wondering about all the comments.
I am sorry I missed so many but happy to see a couple of Night Eagles (instead of "Night Owls"...)
still here...
Hi Diann, Kittenface, and Lolly!
She has been up a couple of times and stuck her head down into the cup. hmmmmm????
And how about our Megan sounding the alert !
Hurray ! ☺
Shes awake!
We need those flashlights and a Moon to illuminate things !
I think the neighbors across the street are having a Pot Party...lots of laughing and carrying on...they might be lucky if no one calls 911 !
Yes, Belle IS awake isn't she!
I think she is settling down, It is just so dark. She was up and shaking...or something. Then was up and looking around, Do we have an egg?
She has tucked her head back. Certainly wish we could see better. Maybe she was just shaking but her tail feathers got very blurry in the dim light.
Margy, since she has settled back down, I am going to go shower and get ready for bed.
I'll be back to peek in and say good night.
....As the head turns.....
Yes, Lolly, so very dark, hard to see...
we'll know more in the early morning...
Been great sharing some time with you, Lolly, and everyone else as they dream....
my eyelids are down to my ankles...
got to hit the hay also...
See Everyone in the Morning!
God Bless Us, Every One,
and Bless This Nest !
xo
I am heading to bed now myself.
Belle has her head tucked and is sound asleep. If she has an egg in the morning, there is a good chance she had it around 1:20. She was going through some gyrations. LOL However, she made no sound...had the ol earbuds in.
Nite Margy, nite all,

Lynn,
I'm so sorry that Mai is being so naughty! Hope the trainer calls you back, pronto! Prayers for that situation, for sure! Emma occasionally nips at us in play, but as soon as we say "NO BITE," she stops and gives us kisses to make up.

Still in nest.
in the nest still, sound asleep
3:20 am Quick check shows a sleeping Belle Very still....
she just looked up and around for moment and is tucked back in!
still sound asleep. Got to get back to bed now....
Belle is awake now and has moved - facing the left as you see her on the computer monitor.
Belle is now off the egg cup with her head appearing over/above the edge of the nest ... looking out to that same left side.
She's looking out over nest but has moved about 45 degrees to the right or north. Hmmmm.
She's still sitting up looking out of the nest - her tail is in the nest cup. Waiting for Lib to deliver breakfast?
Here's what I saw: Belle stretched hugely. craning her neck way out from side to side almost reaching her tail feathers, and her mouth opened though I can't have the sound on in the studio here. Then she turned around and got into the nest cup, put her head down inside the cup, then turned around and sat down in the nest cup again and wiggled her tail feathers.
I see Belle.
Is there an egg in the cup yet?
Oh she's moving!
She is looking underneath her.
That's what it looked like anyway.
LOL Wanda!!!
Good morning!
We won't know till she gets up. I think she is relaxing now. She probably needs a fish right now.
Good Morning, Lori...is this fun or what?
We should know before too much longer, whether or not there is an egg.
I need about 1 more hour of sleep. Don't think it's going to happen, but will try. BBS
This is so much fun, Wanda. It reminds me of being up all night waiting for horses to foal. Watching and waiting for every little twitch, kick, sign of pain, etc. I loved it!
Still there!
Belle is tucked back now.
Hello and Good morning. A cup of coffee helps.
I trust you will all have a nice day!
I expect Lib to show up any time now.
She sure seems to be looking for him, or breakfast.
Still a little dark here, but he should show up soon :)
Good morning Meghan.
Good morning!
I see that there has been a vigil all night watching over our eagles. It is interesting to see that white head in the darkness. Do we have an egg? Time will tell.
Morning Lori and BEagle.
Weather people just do not seem able to make up their minds. Rain? Snow? Freezing rain? All of the above?
Back-to-school night tonight. With the forecast, it may be mostly teachers at the event.
Gotta go buy some file folders for my spring semester classes.
Have a good day, everyone! Hope you do not have to shovel snow off the greenhouse, Megan.
BBL.
Thanks, Shirley. Hope you have a good day.
SHe's up and stretching
She's up and out of nest. I do not see an egg, fluff is really puffed up.
I"m hapy now...no egg!
Dang! Dang! Dang!
Darn, odd that she spent the night like that, maybe she felt ready. Hopefully she'll be back very soon, to lay an egg:)
Eagle back in the nest, flew in from the left.
You know, Belle does this every year (sleep over in the nest), wonder what the purpose is? Maybe a trial run? Who knows:)
Standing over nest cup, moving fluff into it.
wiggled onto the nest cup, using breast to push down fluff.
Off he goes, to the right. MT nest.
Belle took off? She's just getting ready then.
