thanks for the new tread Steve! Good morning Ragdoll! Guess everyone is either still in bed or in line at the post office with tax returns this morning!

Again good morning. I let you know about the new thread then had to go catch up on several days of reading.

I missed everybody for the past days. I ended up with some flu. Booo Hiss. Doing fine now and am back at work. Probably caught it from a student.

I didn't see anything about Mauley and Miss Kitty. I do pray everything is okay. Our pets are like little children to us. ridlso presious to us.

Morning all!
Saw the meteor thing on the news, as well as the volcano, and earthquake reports continue to come in.....Mother Nature in ALL her splendor and fury.
So great that the guy got the video of the hatching RTH!

Lolly said...

Loved the video of the RTH and the video of the meteor. Need to get Jack in here to see that! WOW!

Palmer has it made in the shade. Hard to see him! Looks like he is peeking over the edge of the nest. He keeps squirming.

Lolly said...

Whoops! Forgot my manners...Good morning! Cloudy day here, possible storms. Jack spread fertilizer yesterday, so I guess it can rain......A LITTLE!

So, glad everyone enjoyed the pictures of bluebonnets and paintbrush wildflowers. Heading to the hill country next week. Hope to really enjoy the wild flowers.

Megan...we will be going to the Wildseed Farm. LOVE that place!

Mits said...

Good Morning, everyone , have a good one.

Off to eat breakfast and then walk. Jack is heading out to eat lunch with friends. I am staying home to work and be here for UPS deliveries that need a signature. I hate it when they tell you it will be between 8 AM and 7 PM and I know it will be late in the day! Grrrrr!

Have a great day!

Looks like i have a meteor link to check out. Will do that and then its off to supervise LOL yardwork. I am moving a little better but still pretty iffy. I hate this. Hi, Everyone,

Getting here late today. Have been waiting for someone at the school to call me about my student loan. Have been trying to make a couple of corrections to my application online, but the computer security doesn't like the website for some reason. Have calls in to 3 different people in Financial Aid, and no answer yet. AAAaarrrggghhh! Guess I'll just go to school way early today and try to flag somebody down! Hope there's not a deadline I'm missing!

Well, gonna go and finish up my homework I need to turn in tonight. If I can get it done at home, I can just go turn it in, sign the attendance sheet, and go home! Sounds like a plan to me. Has been a long week! Will check back with you guys later tonight. Have a good evening! :o]

Ms Bookworm said...

Oh, almost forgot--how about that meteor shower AND the volcano in Iceland?!!! Some crazy stuff, huh?

Well my neighbor is in the Emergency room Has been there for hours actually getting fluid and a bettery of tests. Decsion once tests are back is ICU or regualr room. her name is Jean and I owudl ask for prayers for her. As I said this morning she seemed very ill when we loaded her into the car to head for the Dr appoint. Her huswband says she has been in and out all day. He seems quite overhwelmed himself. And they are the closest thing I have to any sense of family in my life on a daily basis. If she goes to ICU he is goign to tell them I am thier daughter or niece or something so I can get in to see her too.

magpie said...

Dear Glo
You have my prayers for Jean and her husband...and you also

BEagle said...

Lib brought a fish in, Belle grabbed it. Palmer, in the meantime, does a poop shoot : ) then Belle starts feeding and Lib takes off to the left.

Palmer looks really perky. Must be getting used to the big appendages.

BEagle said...

Oops.

Hello everyone.

BEagle said...

WE nest. Sitting.
What in the world is that red splotch?

Mema Jo said...

Glo - prayers for Jean & Hubby are being said.. I hope you can sneak in ICU but not you know who - Dex!

Lynne - thanks for mentioning the Loon cam which soon will be up/running.

Margie - Glad you found the space schedule 'cause our Lynn is out to dinner and the movies with Carolyn. I am anxious to hear about the movie..The Last Song.

Andrea - hope you can skip out early this evening & congrats on the last 'A' on your test.

RTH - I really want that plastic bag out of that nest - scares me with those 3 little chicks.

BEagle said...

Red Tail. Sitting. Very pretty. Haven't seen chicks yet.

Mema Jo said...

Hi Wanda and BEagle
You both sneaked in while I was typing.
Beautiful evening out there!

Mema Jo said...

Our Still Cam this time of the evening really is great to view.

I don't like my 10 minute counter on the Live Feed so if Palmer is sleeping I just keep the still cam up.

Mema Jo said...

BEagle the RTH chicks are pure white just like the little Hooters.

BEagle said...
This comment has been removed by the author.
BEagle said...

The PH chicks are the ones...each getting feed by the closest adult.

BEagle said...

The TH twins look like they are resting after a big meal, either that or they are adjusting to big wings and feet.

BEagle said...

First look at Noah, he was in the upper left corner.

Second look, out of sight.

He is cute.

BEagle said...

Hi Mema Jo. I can't wait to see the RTH chicks. Little bumpkins no doubt.

BEagle said...

Dr. called me this morning. I have Sugar II. My glucose scores were really bad. More meds. Bleccchhh.

BEagle said...

TH twins are up and getting stuffed some more. Palmer's little cousins.

BEagle said...

That's is an excellent idea Mema Jo......to put the still cam up when Palmer is sleeping. Saves space.

BEagle said...

Finally, I see the RTH chicks. They are cuties. They are expecting food but when mom tries to pass it to them, they flop over! Cute.

Eagle Release in Oregon

glo said...

Yes MagpieThis is where Dex and i go every morning for coffee and dog treats. Been that way for over 10 years. Almost never miss a day. Not sure if there will be coffee in the morning or not. And MeMa Jo Do you think if I put Dex in his stroller and coffer it with a blanket they will think I just have a baby. Argh ICU bet baby won't work either bUT it would on the main floor.
Wandayes these people are very very dear to me.

.Thank you all for the prayers.

BEagle said...

I didn't see it happen, but the big fish skin on the RTH nest was atop the chicks. They have been struggling to get out and just now made it. OH cool, the camera is zooming in on the chicks.

Mema Jo said...

Now you can see all 3 little heads!

Mema Jo said...

Looks like it's Belle sitting over the egg cup - I am assuming that Palmer is underneath.

BEagle said...

That would be a place to be. At Lake Oswego when they release the eagle that was injured.!

BEagle said...

The Sidney chick is in full view. Having dinner.

BEagle said...

The OR nest is having gorgeous weather. It's hard to catch any activity on the nest.

Costume Lady said...

Love the Loon Cam. Very different from our wobbly little bobble heads, when the loon hatches. They are ready and raring to go:) To see those babes on a parent's back being chauffeured around the lake, is a sight to behold!

paula eagleholic said...

Andy, hope you get a break at class tonight! Guess you have straight A's, eh?

paula eagleholic said...

I think it's a stick, Belle was nestorating back there

BEagle said...

Oh shoot.

That was supposed to be maybe in the wrong place.

Cupcakes.

BEagle said...

Does nestorating mean building the nest up?

paula eagleholic said...

So I take it you want everything you can't have, BEagle.

The loon cam is at the www.mnbound.com , with the owl cam

paula eagleholic said...

Dana, how is your eye doing? Any better?

PA Nana said...

Wow! Just checked in to see Palmer and she has doubled in size since I last saw her. Can't believe I missed that much growth!!

Finally visited a pain doctor and I'm scheduled for x-rays and MRI next Friday. My back is killin' me! He suspects pinched nerve(s). Could be scar tissue from past surgeries so the tests will tell us what to do next.

Max was enjoyable for most of his visit but he sure was active or I'm too old to be around a 2 yr old.. My back prevented me from playing more with him. I was able to make a trip to the park by vehicle and was able to push him on the swing. He loves to swing.

If I've missed some important happenings these past 4-5 days, will sks please bring me up to date?

Glo, prayers for your neighbors and all those in need/want.

Will try to come back later.

God bless!

Got home from school early, but had what I think was a combination coffee and eyestrain headache. Got some coffee, and it's getting much better.

Glo, prayers indeed for Jean, her husband, and for you! Hope Jean is in a regular room tomorrow. Prayers for everyone here.
Leaving the night light on, and the porch light. Eye scanner's enabled.
Sweet dreams, and God bless! Talk to you tomorrow. Love you guys! :o]

Here is a link to the Puleston site
Two video links - one 7.5 mins the other almost 10 mins, both very interesting, first one shows one very twitchy EJ, and in the second at about 5 min mark she seems to be up just slightly, and seems to be much more relaxed...seems the egg was probably laid during that second video
Funny, Odin arrives early during the second video clip and seems rather perplexed...

Look at cute little Palmer sleeping like a big boy by himself on the other side of the nest.

He's growing sooo fast!

I think Palmer is getting hungry. He's been antsy, picking his head up & looking around, like 'where's my dad and the big fish he brings me every morning?'

Mags, I love your new tulips avatar! Very pretty.

BEagle - those TH babies are the cutest. I've seen them throw serious blows over dinner. They're hysterical!

Jo - I'm with you - really dislike that dang 10 minute timer. :( I understand the need though.

Is that Mom or Dad who just dropped into the nest? Palmer has company & wants his breakfast!

Oh, that was so super sweet. Palmer was lying there sleeping with his big turkey like strong legs all stretched out. He looked so big!

Good Morning Everyone! Big Baby Palmer is getting breakfast. Both adults were there a minute ago, I guess w/groceries!

Trying to catch up on Blog. Had busy, great lunch for retiring exhibit shop boss yesterday, came home, snacked for dinner & went for Panda nap. Never got up!
Glo, prayers for your neighbor.
BEagle, hope you will soon get Type II under control. Hubby came down w/it a few years ago--I sent him to endocrinologist & the meds are having him normal everyday.
There is light at the end of the tunnel ☺
