Sorry I abandond you, D told me I had a nasty post on the osprey site so I had to answer it,MITS you would love it pet,
we will all have to sart calling you GAN GAN in a little while wont we, congrats to you and all your family.
We have been wating the pandas for a long time everyday 24/7 and we think of them as ours, and they dont even know we exist, shame isnt it. We know everything about them and there personallities and have cooed and ahhhed and cried when as we call him gobbo had a nasty fall and when Mai beats him up and pinches his lolly, We have been saying that Mai is going to be heartbroken when he has to leave her as she wont let go of the apron strings, mind you he is just as bad, a right mummies boy.
You are so lucky MITS, if I were you I would be there everyday and never leave there enclosure till closeing time. As D says if only DREAMS ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
We have a Girlfriend who lives and works in Washington [Melissa] and she sent us all a gobbo soft toy for Christmas, big heart that girl.

Chrissy I hope you are watching the pandas now. Talk about apron strings.. Tai will not let Mei get away from him. That little guy is going to get a 'time out'. Mei keeps pushing Tai away and he keeps coming back!
Tai just moved his swimming pool by dragging it the whole length of the room into his private little cubbie hole. Then he had a hard time getting out and had to squeeze along side of it.

I cant believe whay I'm seeing, gobbo is trying so hard to take his paddleing pool into the tunnel with him he has got it half way and boy is it stuck, how will he get out I ask myself, well that question is answered now , he just climbed all over it
, the little darling, oh I love that baby more and more each day, all I want to do is pick him up and cuddle and cuddle, heaven help him when he wants to go to bed tonight, he wont fit now, and at last our darling Mai is getting peace and can eat, I love my Tai Shan, but she is my special girl, she is something else, just love her to bits.

Yes I have visited Wolong and Chengdu and am a member at Wolong, I have posted all the info and URLS on here a while ago the have a live cam but it doesnt often work and you can only get it for 45 mins aday
At the mo watching gobbo and Mai, poor girl just cant get away from him he is being such a pest and trying to climb he back again, really good play fight though and such fun to watch

CAB I saw a show a couple of weeks ago about the center at Wolong, how they are able to breed and raise cubs successfully, and it was interesting to see how attached to the cubs the handlers get...

If it wernt for all the animals I don't know what I would do, and my darling pandas, but after today I think gobbo could do with a smacked bottie and Mai is far far to soft with him she lets him get away with murder bless her, and she hasnt had one bit of rest today in all that heat, he wont let her, I wonder if he wants to become a turtle, that pool of his had been though the wars today not its over him and he is killing it, the darling baby you have to love him dont you,

Vicky It's worth the time & trouble cleaning & refilling those Hummer feeders if only to see them come back. I love watching them. They have not come to my house this summer-next door neighbor has all the feeders & all the hummers. Is your hubby still at camp? I guess you've been a lady of leisure. If he's home this Friday - you've got 2 days to clean it up!
