Liberty and Belle are only 1/2 mile down the river. I can see the NCTC site but have not located the nest. I don't think I will bew able to find it. I might have to lug out the telascope and see if that works better. I waited for them to maybe fly around or come to the river to get a fish, but did not see anyone flying around.
Oh, good morning, Glo and Deb! And good morning Donnie Bingo, and welcome! Missed all you guys. Trying to do things and sorta watch and blog just isn't working. Can't multi-task like I used to...

I'm fine with watching the cam. It's just that they are so so close. I'm really excited to catch a glimpse in person. I've lived here 12 years now. I know I've seen Eagles 8 times. That might not be many times, but I still think thats great.
Duh, on the egg at PH, Paula. Ok, I'm several days behind. Have to admit, have not read the blogs since last Wed!! Didn't even bring them home yesterday, wasn't gonna push it
I bought this house becouse of the wildlife and the woods. I have 3 dozen bird feeders of all types. Deer feeders, bird baths, everything I can think of to put out in the yard. I just love it out here. I have tooooo many raccoons, opossems, ground hogs, even a bear went by on his way up river a few years back. He really made a mess of things.

I need one of those computer teckie people to help with it. I have tons of pics to share with everyone. I just takes time... Boy, the rain is really comming down right now...

Good grief, Helen, I didn't know we were supposed to get snow again! Donnie, sounds like you live in an awesome area! Love to watch wildlife! I feed the birds too, but I only get sknunks and opossums to come eat. I have outdoor kitties that know I run a buffet, and the critters come and help themselves to the cat food. Birds like it too, but they're supposed to eat their seeds!
We have a light rain falling right now and it is 35°, going up to 44°. NEWS BULLITEN: ROANOKE: Classes at Ferrum College have been cancelled for the day and the private school remains on lockdown as police search for a suspicious person on campus.
DONNIE MUST LIVE NEAR MEGAN...Maybe he can lure the deer from her garden to his yard. (Unless he has a garden too). Oh, I think he said he likes to garden. Sorry,Donnie.
Wanda, just heard that on the news. They didn't say anything more though! Do you know anything more? They did say there was no shooting! That's a blessing.
Good morning, nature watchers! Wow! So many posts already and its only 7:30 am PST LOL! Got a lot of catching up to do! Thanks, Steven, for the update. I can't wait LOL! Well, back to my kiddos for a bit...time for breakfast :-)
Normabyrd, Ferrum College is near Roanoke and that is about 1 hour, 45 minutes from me. It is only about 25 minutes from Thelma is moving this weekend, to Bedford, Virginia.
Good Morning all of you out there in Eagleland. Rainy Tuesday Morning but it is better then snowy - at least as far as an eagle's nest is concerned. Love the picture on the home page this am. So good to see everyone on this morning & to know all cams are calm for now. I missed Donnie Bingo again but I do get to say hello to kareninca! Welcome from southern CA.
OK, I'm evidently a slow reader - it takes me so long to read all the posts. DUH
Suzanne, I love your morning commentaries...you make me feel like I am there!
Wanda, did you know that public libraries (yes, even in Vegas) have computers. As far as I know you can go to beakspeak.com and take a look at Our nest if not all the others!!! Some hotels even have a computer room you can use - won't hurt to check it out! Especially if we have a hatching while you are gone. As a last resort you might just have to get a laptop to take with you.~8>)
Thanks Helen for the weather forecast! Sharon, it doesn't sound so good for you the next few days. Hope your cupboard is full!
Donnie, sounds like you live close to heaven!!! Have you visited the Moose Cam? It is down now for the season, but watch for it to come back on I think in April or May. The lady that runs that cam might be able to give you some pointers for an outdoor cam for your yard.
SUZANNE---Pics of PRECIOUS have been few & far between!!---If she is there---difficult to see her!!-----DON'T WORRY---That little POO POO knows how to do everything!!---ADORABLE!!!!
Ok, I'm confused. Have no clue who was climbing the wooden structure with the bamboo. Switched cams and it looks like ZZ is still in the hall with Bai, both eating bamboo. Must be quitting time, I'm losing it!
Time for me to hit the road. Hopefully, we won't have any bad weather tonight, and I'll be here bright and early tomorrow. (man, that's an understatement!) All have a great eagle/panda day. Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
I have a question, if I may. How do you add the pic to your posts? I tried doing it from my profile but it didn't work. Does the pic have to be a certain size? Thanks for help in advance :-) Thanks for the welcomes today...its great to be here! I saw the NCTC eagle tenting this a.m. Was it raining there today? Bright and sunny here in So. Cali and hope it stays LOL! By the way, I was eastern born and visited the east a few times and love it back there, its so beautiful, but I don't like the cold LOL! My parents moved here when I was 3 so I never had the chance to get used to it.
OH! FINALLY got to see these eggs! 3 little ones right in a row LOL! Called my kinders over so they got to see them, too! Hope we get to view the hatching while here at work so my kiddos can watch, also.
Did you know there are two eggs in the cup at Two Harbors this morning??
Did you know there is a new entry on the Panda blog (News Page) for ZZ. And they must have been reading this blog, because they're calling her ZZ now :~)

Normabyrd, Ferrum College is near Roanoke and that is about 1 hour, 45 minutes from me. It is only about 25 minutes from Thelma is moving this weekend, to Bedford, Virginia.
Morning, and welcome Karenincali. Haven't talked to you before, but I'm usually only on in the mornings, east coast time.
Belle stopped tenting, has the rain stopped?
OH, first view of ZZ in days! She's on that table Bai used to sleep on. Think she wants to get down, but now quite sure how.
Little tooter figured it out. Down the wood bridge, head first. Smart little cookie! But now she's off cam again, darn.
SUZANNE---I can't see anything on IWS----I thought I could still see the PH nest??
Good Morning all of you out there in Eagleland. Rainy Tuesday Morning but it is better then snowy - at least as far as an eagle's nest is concerned. Love the picture on the home page this am. So good to see everyone on this morning & to know all cams are calm for now. I missed Donnie Bingo again but I do get to say hello to kareninca! Welcome from southern CA.
Sharon, is that your pic on the opening page:)?
SHARON---They are going to have a press conf soon at FERRUM------Didn't realize you were going there!!----COOL SCHOOL!!
Where is Dana this morning???
Norma, here is the PH nest.

I wanted to pass on a Kent Update from Loraine -
Kent Nest Update
LOL, thank you Iris, you get used to talking to yourself after a while.
Norma, both Bai and ZZ are in the hallway eating bamboo. Way too precious!!!
IRIS---I have wondered where DANA is too!!!----I gave her the report on the DONKEYS---Still haven't heard from her!!!
never mind, she's now climbing on a wooden structure with a piece of bamboo in her mouth.
Good Morning KareninCali and Mema Jo!!! Good to see you both this morning, sorry I missed you with my last post.
Now, it's time to bring up some cams and see for myself what is going on!!!
(((hugs to everyone)))
Switch at BWE
THANKS SUZANNE---That means we can open up anything else on IWS---I have always enjoyed reading it!!!
thanks, Jo.
Ok, I'm confused. Have no clue who was climbing the wooden structure with the bamboo. Switched cams and it looks like ZZ is still in the hall with Bai, both eating bamboo. Must be quitting time, I'm losing it!
CNN has coverage of College Lockdown.
I don't go to school there. I don't go to school anywhere anymore, thank God.

Our eagle is still tenting...
Eagle at BC
Thanks for the update on KENT---JO & GLO!!
Norma - last evening Dana signed off due to her back hurting. Hopefully she will be on soon and feeling better after she rested.
Dana did something to her back yesterday, then she signed off as it hurt so bad, it was affecting her leg. I hope she isn't still in pain today!
Norma, look at ZZ sitting back and leaning back like a tiny Tai, eating bamboo. She's adorable, looks like a big ol' stuffed panda toy!
Look at the Atlanta beauties. Laying side by side on their tummies catching panda naps. That's cute.
Divers!
Beautiful day at Tesoro...
Iris, thanks for reminding me of the Hotel's computers. Probably will be able to check out the nest at some of the Rest Areas too.
Our tenting eagle with head tucked under wing....
I cannot get my hotmail up yet this morning.. I'll keep trying..
Going to leave for awhile - BBL
Looks like someone at our nest is catching a little panda nap :)
DANA---I hope you are feeling better soon!!!----We miss you!!---The PACE of DONKEYS misses your too!----ho!
Mei Xiang just got some carrot treats, Tai is sleeping under a tree.
Tai just woke up, they must be calling him up to fence for his treats
This darn computer keeps freezing up!!!---How many divers were there DEB!!!----
OMG, look at the CO owl, the snow is drifting into her area big time. Hope she doesn't get cornered and can keep her eggs dry.
SUZANNE---SAFE JOURNEY HOME---LOVE PATS TO 'GYPSY' AND HER GIRL FRIENDS!!!
Time for me to hit the road. Hopefully, we won't have any bad weather tonight, and I'll be here bright and early tomorrow. (man, that's an understatement!) All have a great eagle/panda day.
Eyes to the sky, see the raptors fly!
GOOD MORNING, EVERYBODY...
Whew, I barely made it in time to say 'have a safe trip home and a great day' to Suzanne ... and to anyone else it applies to, for that matter.
Beautiful day after the rain here, but we're supposed to get the desert winds later today...it'll be going up to 75° at least.

Jim
SUZANNE---Did you check the OWL'S pixes!!-----Shows 'something' entering the nest???
Thanks, Norma!
Just two divers, Norma.
Food just brought into our nest.
Eagle eating our nest
Looks dark gray and sleek - fish maybe?
OH! FINALLY got to see these eggs! 3 little ones right in a row LOL! Called my kinders over so they got to see them, too! Hope we get to view the hatching while here at work so my kiddos can watch, also.
Haven't read all comments yet.
Did you know there are two eggs in the cup at Two Harbors this morning??
Did you know there is a new entry on the Panda blog (News Page) for ZZ. And they must have been reading this blog, because they're calling her ZZ now :~)
