Good morning, Wanda. Lib was doing that this morning, too. Just watching the egg and cocking his head at it. Thought maybe he was thinking another egg would just appear or something, and he was wondering where it was! Now that Belle's back, maybe we'll get our second egg.
Yes, Sharon. I think cause the egg cup is so deep, and she's so much larger than Liberty. His tail feathers kind of hit the egg wall, and she's large enough that her tail feathers can just go straight out.
You girls sure are observant.

Has anybody gotten Norfolk up last couple of days? I haven't been able to get anything but a black screen all day yesterday and so far today.

At this point it could be the lazy eagle from BW.....well folks going to sign off for tonight. Will be off the computer for awhile, I am going into the hospital at 6 tomorrow a.m. for major abdominal surgery at 7:30a.m. They have attempted to repair my umblilical hernias thru laproscopic surgery and it has not work, and so because of the constant pain, doctor wants to do it the old fashion way...I know you all can pray real good, so I would ask you to please say a prayer for me when you get a chance. Don't know how long I will be in the hospital, but do know that the recovery is going to take awhile, they have already warned me of that.....and so as usual I will say GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE AND TAKE CARE
Just checked, Sandra's birthday is tomorrow.

IR means Infra Red, which is what they use for the night cams.

Wanda, IR in infrared light. What we use and Norfolk uses to see the nests in the dark. Doesn't bother the eagles and let's us humans see in the dark with our inferior eyes.

A bit foggy as it was expected in the valley but around the nest it looks very clear.
I will read up on everything in just a minute...
No calls yet from Ceil - but don't expect a call until towards lunch hour... not really sure of when. Just praying for MITS healing.

I loved that CT osprey cam last year. The picture was so close and they raised 2 healthy chicks. Osprey are known to bring all sorts of stuff into their nests.
Iris, to answer your question from yesterday. The eagle and nest I saw Sunday is south of Sandy Lake which is north of I80 and east of I79. The nest is really hard to see and once the trees near it get leaves you won't be able to see it from the road. We couldn't tell if anyone was in the nest.

Well the chicks on the Tesoro are starting to loose their "light grey" they are turning darker grey. They are getting big still so cute.

Sometimes when NBG is taking it's time giving me the cam pic - I double click on the blank screen & then BINGO up comes full screen the cam pic.

Szu - the thinking in Norfolk now is that she laid an egg last night, right before 6pm, and there wasn't an egg Sunday night as thought. No mention on their sight, this is from observations from our blog and others.

Danelle, yes, I live in Mont Alto. I didn't know you were from Chambersburg! When I got back to the States I lived in Waynesboro (ugh) and worked at the Site. Then got another job and worked at Ritchie for a while. When they closed, the office moved to Chambersburg. That's when I moved to Mont Alto. hahaha...it was a shorter commute! Who knew in 6 years or so I'd have a 2 hour commute. Oh, didn't I read that in past blogs? And didn't you say you used to work at The Butcher Shoppe? That's my FAVORITE kitchen!!! Love it. Don't have to cook a thing!!!
