MORNING DANA OUR #1 GAL ON THE SATURDAY BLOG!!! I was just getting on so I thought I'd let one of you hard working bloggers get on first. :) Plus I am laying low after thinking I saw three eggs in the nest this am. :( Paula saw only two at around 6am.
Bringing my last comment over: Costume Lady said... Sorry, not keeping up with the conversations on here this morning. Have been chatting with Karla for a good while on email. She has the same problem as Megan with her puter. She says it is too frustrating to even try to blog and bring up the different cams.
She hasn't been feeling well, along with grandson, Dustin and her husband was off from work a week with the same Dirty Little Virus!
GOOD MORNING ALL YOU EAGLE WATCHERS ON HERE THIS MORNING, AND WANDA who has finally made it to the new blog.
Sorry to hear about your daughter and family. Hope they are feeling better soon. My teacher wasn't feeling well yesterday and wouldn't go home and this morning I don't feel too good either! It too shall pass. :)
Yes, Paula, I did see something that looks like a dead bird or mouse on the end of the nest, but it is all covered up by the Fluff. I haven't seen any food brought in yet this morning, has anyone else?
Oh well JO, I was just hoping and my pics sure looked like one new one in the foreground and two in the background when whoever was on the nest got up. Wishful thinking. Maybe today will be the day for Mits homeconing.
Good morning everyone. Sitting down to enjoy a cup of tea and watch a few cams for a while. Hoping for some pretty captures. MTBR I guess.
Mits Glad to hear that you get to come home today. Take it easy. pull up a chair and enjoy the eagles.
Sandra Hope your day is off to a good start. Next week both of you ladies will have osme gorgeous looking and sounds ing eagles to enjoy right out of NCTC...now what a way to recuperate.
My Mom babysat Dustin (Karla's son) Sunday evening while we all went to a Super Bowl party. She had all the things he likes best for her little Super Bowl party to make him feel special, and he felt too bad to eat anything. I sure hope she doesn't catch whatever it is.
Nice close up of NBG eagle, but the nest or cam is really rock and rollin
Maine still has snow on it. Anyone see any eagles on there yesterday.
I am also looking at how big the CC1 nest eaglets are. They are almost as big as the parents, like I read yesterday. It seems like yesterday, their little heads were bobbers.
Oh crumb bun!!!!!:( I'm with you tho JO and am happy with two. I just pray that nothing goes wrong with anything this season for poor Liberty and Belle.
Good morning again everybody. I reported earlier that I saw them switch at 6-something this morning and there were only 2 eggs. I still think we will get one more.
I am still feeling pretty crappy. Probably have to go to the doctor later today. MTBR! For right now, I am going to get back under the covers and rest a while.
OHHHHH, it's so dark here......the day is OVER! Yikes-where did it go! the house is almost prepared for ds and his wife. Just need to change the sheets.
I'm also feeling kinda icky.....headachey and tired and chilled. If I'm coming down with something then my ds's visit is right on time! The dkids can nurse me back to health!
I was reading the Maine Forum & they seem to think that NBG has had egg 3. Of course no official announcement.. They think like most of us that we'll know how many eggs whenever the hatching begins. I am so thankful our cam & also BWE cam is located with our view right down into the nest. At the last change - still 2 eggs but keep your eyes on our NCTC nest!
Checking on Mits Slothbear I see one out moving around. People standing and watching. Yard 1A it is walking back and forth.
Fishing cat was just down by the water. Ooopss coming back. It too is going back and forth. Now down a limb towards the water. I must not be getting its feet wet. Below camera jumping from one limb to the other. Cause on foot prints from water on limbs.
Dana - CC Osprey nest very similar to VA - with the cam angle and how deep the bowl is...we will be lucky to see the eggs. Osprey nest angle isn't too bad, but egg bowl looks deep!
Just checked Shepherdstown weather site and between 11am and 1pm it goes form a chance of 40% to 47% chance of rain. Could be she is getting a sprinkle or two.
The eagle now in nest does look longer than the other one that just left. Oh Geez! It is soooo hard to tell. Maybe it is just the way it is sitting on egg cup
Thanks, Dana, that is the one I tried. I don't get why I can click on the owl cam and watch that, but can only watch the dumb commercial and then get a black and grey screen after that.

Zisker, are you still having trouble getting back on here? Email me if you are. Exciting things are begining to happen and we don't want you to miss out on anything.
Lynne, I think it is Belle; a little foggy and can't tell for sure. Maybe she is resting up for a BIG moment tonight. I guess tomorrow won't be too late, but I won't be home to see it. So hoping it happens this evening.
I wasn't intentionally gone for such a long time - Our power failed here in the valley - really feel helpless when that happens. It came on as we were walking out the door for 5:00 mass. Glad to see that NBG confirmed there 3rd egg being laid. Maybe our will come yet tonight :)

Good evening everybody. Just got home from the ER. I did test positive for influenza A and they gave me Tamiflu for that. My hemoglobin is down to 8 so I have to go back tomorrow for 2 units of blood. That will take a lovely 8 hours at least so what a wonderful way to spend a Sunday. Going to see if I can bring Andrew's laptop and hopefully get on line from there and watch eagles.
My advice to everybody is wash your hands often and spray lots of Lysol. This bug is an awful one to get.

Hi, everybody. I don't see any "3rd egg has arrived" comments tonight, so I guess I didn't miss it.
As for weather, it's fairly moderate here right now, but I checked Ottertail, MN, where my uncle has a cabin and his brother-in-law's family lives now, and it is -17°F and it feels like -41°! Supposed to get a little cooler yet tonight....
Belle looks fine ... no worries ... has her head out from under her wing now.
The weather is hard rain and high winds right now so i thought i better check on Belle... Sharon girlfriend i have been up most of the night sick and i do mean sick.. If this doesnt ease up soon going to ER also.. So nausiated and weak..(forgive my spelling) So Belle is not sleep HOW could she sounds like frieght train out side roaring thru.. Ok folks gona try and lay down again.. Gona Try and drink some ginger ale...
Can't stop, on my way out to Church, the joint in in the oven cooking and not done all the veg yet. Looked in on the egg cup, all seems well, can't see a 3rd egg as yet ??? I think its Liberty on the nest, cos he is the smaller of the two isn't he ??? Anyway, looks as if an egg turning session is in progress. Done the rounds of some of the nests, but not all, can't see a thing as most are still in the dark.
Speak later all, sorry I didn't get on yesterday, I couldnt logg on to the Internet for some unknown reason, talk about Panda withdrawl !!
GOOD MORNING EVERYONE... The wind is so fierce it woke me up at about 5:30am. Checked in on the nest and Lib (I think) seems to be unconcerned. The wind gusts are up to 60mph. Anything that isn't tied down outside is gone. It is 42° right now, going downto 13° tonight.
I'll looking in later to see how you are, try and get some sleep if you can girl.
Paula your right, I did wonder why all the vidios were in daylight, silly me, that will teach me not to read "Afke's" updates wont it, rushing in and out again, its a pity really as its such a wonderful site, I hope they get it working again before the end of Febuary ???? WHAT a terrible thing this bug seems to be, I though ours was nasty but never heard of anything like the one your all going through.
This is the forecast for Martinsburg/Shepherdstown, Hagerstown, Frederick, Winchester and surrounding areas:
...WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM EST MONDAY...
THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STERLING VIRGINIA HAS ISSUED A WIND CHILL ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM EST MONDAY.
AN ARCTIC FRONT WILL MOVE THROUGH THE REGION TODAY BRINGING VERY WINDY AND COLD CONDITIONS TONIGHT.
A WIND CHILL ADVISORY MEANS THAT VERY COLD AIR AND STRONG WINDS WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE LOW WIND CHILLS. THIS WILL RESULT IN FROST BITE AND LEAD TO HYPOTHERMIA IF PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN. IF YOU MUST VENTURE OUTDOORS...MAKE SURE YOU WEAR A HAT AND GLOVES.
Do we have 3 eggs ?????? when I look at the cam it's so bright in night vision all I see is a blob !!! Fantastic news if your right AJ ??? How are you all today ??? Some of your seem to be really suffering at the moment, I'm so sorry. GOOD MORNING DANA AND IRIS... The winds have died down here for now. The sun is shining and it looks like it is going to be a beautiful morning. BUT, we still have our wind advisory.

Parent has chicks back by the large limb near back of nest. Tesoro
I read about those chicks at Tesoro being quite the problem for the parents yesterday. Tee hee. It is always the same; bird world or human world!
Good morning everyone. Sitting down to enjoy a cup of tea and watch a few cams for a while. Hoping for some pretty captures. MTBR I guess.
Mits Glad to hear that you get to come home today. Take it easy. pull up a chair and enjoy the eagles.

GOOD MORNING GLO...From your lips to God's ears!
If we are to get a 3rd egg - today would be right on schedule! lol
I am really ok with 2!
From the sound of things with the Audio and Video, it will be a while before they get things running smoothly. HANG IN THERE...Lord, give us patience.
2 eagles at our nest now
That was a good switch.....
We still have 2 eggs very visible
Candy - do you see what I see?
Oh crumb bun!!!!!:( I'm with you tho JO and am happy with two. I just pray that nothing goes wrong with anything this season for poor Liberty and Belle.
Chicks on the move at Tesoro hee hee
WANDA It sounds like your grandson had a SUPER Super Bowl party, himself. It must have made him feel really big and happy too.
Lib & Belle seem to handle things well. Last year's disaster hasn't kept them from starting again this season!
Going to do exercises (running late)..CALL ME IF IT LOOKS LIKE EGG IS COMING...I'LL HEAR YOU!!
I need to get some food........BBL
Eaglet at CC I out on edge of nest. Picking up nesting materials. Probably checking for pieces of leftover food.
Good Morning Everyone!!! I've been loading cams and reading last nights Blog....seems difficult to catch up!
Prayers to all who need them including Mits and Sandra... I agree with Glo, sit back and watch our wonderful eagles as you recuperate!
Good Morning to all!

What's MTBR?
Candy - that was Sharon up at 6am this morning! Wonder if she is feeling any better? Probably not, I haven't seen her on here since then....
And one Maine eagle made a real quick in and out either yesterday or the day before.
Geula,
MTBR = More To Be Revealed ....
Simple once it is explained, right?
I had to ask that question once too! Hope you are feeling better for son's visit.
MTBR= More to be revealed
OK, so now I am going to have to head back down to OC and Assateague
Assateague Visitor Center
PAULA I love your new Pic. Soooo cute and in the season. :)
Thanks Candy and Dana. I love bunnies!
Paula when that goes online we will have another cam to watch ( :
Both parent in nest at BWE
Paula at the Cape Coral Osprey nest. On the Hancock forum they too believe there is an egg. We've seen it. No one can get a picture of it.
Dana - I heard the egg was laid around Jan 31....don't know anything other than that...I'll have to check out their thread sometime...
Egg turning at our nest, pulling more fluff towards eagle.
Feeding at Tesoro
Almost PRAYER TIME
Good morning everyone. My company is gone and I am caught up on reading the blog. No third egg, I see.
Glad to hear the Helen gets to come home. I hope everyone gets over their flu-stuff quickly.
Good Morning Deb ( :
Sun shining on the nest
Eagles being vocal at Maine
Morning Deb!
Ooops, afternoon!
Do you still have the live feed for Colorado? I get the commercial, then nothing? I can see the owl if I go there.
Jo chick at CC I did its "poop shoot" over the edge of nest lol
Deb I have Co "live" up
Ok, thanks, Dana. I will have to figure out what it wrong. I am tired of that commercial all ready!!
Egg turning our nest...check out all the fluff around the eagle!
Like laying on a huge pillow
Dana - CC Osprey nest very similar to VA - with the cam angle and how deep the bowl is...we will be lucky to see the eggs. Osprey nest angle isn't too bad, but egg bowl looks deep!
Both parents at Tesoro. Maybe the change of guard. Yepper. The one just flew off. Looks like food of some sort.
Our eagles looks just quite comfy with all the flumm. Probably more than I have in my couch. lol
Take note of our eagles wings....Do you think it is raining?? Or what?
That is Belle - right?
Just took a look at the hummers and are they getting to be a tight squeeze in their nest. They sure grow fast.
Just checked Shepherdstown weather site and between 11am and 1pm it goes form a chance of 40% to 47% chance of rain. Could be she is getting a sprinkle or two.
I don't know JO. I looked back to see if anymentioned, but couldn't find. Anyone out there know?
Looks like Lib. I think Belle just came back into the nest. and looks bigger. Other eagle just went poof.
Eagle just sat there looking at nest and now is down looks like turning eggs.
Looks like Belle to me :)
The eagle now in nest does look longer than the other one that just left. Oh Geez! It is soooo hard to tell. Maybe it is just the way it is sitting on egg cup
I thought so too Paula, but thanks for your expertise. You know me......I am always seeing things. :(
Keep eyes open for an agg if it is to be. BB
deb here is url for CO. all on one line that is live feed
http://birdcam.xcelenergy.com/videoindex.html?cam=eagle
No rain here in Martinsburg/Shepherdstown. Beautiful day and 47° going up to 51°.
Will return later.... things to get done..
Did Norma say she was doing something today... Didn't notice her being on..
I saw Belle doing that Wing Thingy earlier and there was no rain or wind. Thought she may be giving us another egg.
Good morning, again. Sorry, I felt tired and not too well, so I got some more sleep ... bound to be better, huh?
Have a good day.
[:~D]
Jim
Thanks, Dana, that is the one I tried. I don't get why I can click on the owl cam and watch that, but can only watch the dumb commercial and then get a black and grey screen after that.

Someone at the Puleston Osprey cam posted that info from the PP forum
eggs turned our nest
Hello again everybody. Been watching the cam some from bed. Still feeling raunchy, don't know if it is the flu or what. Taking Tylenol every four hours and that helps for a little while.
Morning (in So Cal yet), Eagle-eye. [:~)]

Eagle up and gone our nest...
look at that deep, deep egg cup...can only see one egg!
Back and turning eggs.
Belle just left. Sharon, make sure not to overdo the tylenol!! 'Belle, just came back.
Paula, do they have Ospreys at Puleston already, or are you just socializing over there?? (Yuk, yuk)
Anyway, thanks. I don't even think I knew there was a forum at Pete's.
[:~)]
Jim
Hope you feel better soon, Sharon. The fu that is going around here has closed 2 schools so far, as so many were calling in. Nasty stuff.
Okay, this has been a long day and I'm tired...See y'all tomorrow.....
Have a good afternoon/evening/night!
MAWOY!

Jim - I thought it said something about the forum on the main cam page for Pete's - there is a link there somewhere!
Yup, it's in the small green section right above the cam...
Thanks, Paula. I see the forum at Pete's and will check it out later...
I've got to take care of other things, talk more later.

Jim
Just checking in, on my way out again. Guess there isn't anything new. Later
Jim, I was looking a the NBG site and saw that thing that looked like an owl. In the daylight it looks like a leave or glob of mud, can figure out what made it look so much like an owl at night.

Looks like one last feeding at Tesoro for the night.
Thanks Paula for the update about NBG
They did the same thing last season. 3 days between 1st and 2nd ...4 days between 2 and 3rd.
Normal for young eaglets fighting at CC I and flapping wings...
Zisker, are you still having trouble getting back on here? Email me if you are. Exciting things are begining to happen and we don't want you to miss out on anything.

The barn owl WildWatch cam is frozen from yesterday......
Jo, what caused the power outage? Do you know yet?
Wanda - Not certain - the trucks were at one of the intersections on 40Alt
They were working near one of the poles - There were no signs of an accident...
Has anyone suggested that our eagle in the nest is LIB? Just looks short.
Headed in to watch TV or play cards
BBL
It's hard to tell which one it is, Jo. It's so scrunched up we can't see its full length, but I agree it doesn't fill the nest up as much as Belle does.

...HIGH WIND WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM EST SUNDAY...
THE HIGH WIND WARNING IS NOW IN EFFECT FROM 7 AM TO 7 PM EST
SUNDAY. THE WIND ADVISORY IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.
A STRONG ARCTIC FRONT WILL MOVE FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS THE
REGION SUNDAY MORNING. WEST WINDS BEHIND THE FRONT ARE EXPECTED TO
INCREASE TO 30 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 60 MPH. WINDS OF
THIS MAGNITUDE COULD CAUSE DOWNED TREES AND POWER LINES.
WINDS WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH SUNDAY NIGHT...HOWEVER GUSTS UP TO
45 MPH WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE THROUGH MUCH OF THE NIGHT.
It is 47° here going down to 34° and only 35° tomorrow. Winds are blowing already.
Just got back from a nice dinner with eldest son...Nilla...we went to Dave and Jane's - didn't have crab legs but we had prime rib and shrimp and crab dip. I'm stuffed...
I noticed the wind had stepped up when we left the restaurant...thanks for the update.
If we don't get an egg tomorrow, I think we will just have 2.
Guess we're going to see some
ruffled feathers!
Hope Dana keeps her crock pot lid in house! lol
Just pray that our nest survives the high winds just like Dave's nest did a day or two ago! Probably the same winds!!
Just bring in the FLUFF for warmth!
Tuck it in all around our incubating eagles.....
That sound really good Paula.
Put your feet up & chill out!
Did the dogs already go out....?
Jo - they are outside getting all nice and muddy as we speak...
Sharon just called from the ER
She is headed home with the FLU BUG
OH NO THE BUG IS COMING EASTWARD!
I'm just going to stay out of crowds!
Glad she went- hopefully she got something to help...and glad it's only the flu....
Good Windy Evening Ya'll hey Paula was just talking last night about going there for dinner soon.. The broasted chicken is Yum Yum also... Well Jo i hope you dont get this bug its awful everyone in my family has it.. Me like i said been sick for this is now the 6th week.. Belle looks like she is honkered down for the night and winds.. I saw her leave earlier and she came right back but not before seeing how deep the egg cup is... Hope Mits got home and resting and Sandra too... Sharon not to much you can do but rest and drink fluids n meds... Take care of yourself... Hope Megan soon gets her faster service as she is missing alot... For all those feeling bad take care... Good Night, hoping for another egg but doesnt look like it right now...
The hospitols and doctors offices are flooded with people with this sickness.. Nothing you can do really .. Meds dont seem to even help it...
Sharon wasn't given any meds as far as I know. She does need to go get some blood work done tomorrow..
Oooo Paula did you get any cream of crab soup???? Its to die for so gooooodddddddd!!!! I dont care for the plain crab soup... Geeez and i had chicken wings delivered..lol
Nilla - my son had the cream of crab soup...I had a taste...brought home leftovers as it was...
Sharon-get some rest and take care - lots of fluids...sounds like you are probably dehydrated as well...
Sharon, I am glad you went in! Take it nice and easy, so you can recover completely. Hope tomorrow goes smoothly for you.
Best Advice Ever: Wash your hands!!
Hopefully you'll get some rest tonight. Great if the laptop could get the cams up!
Touch base with us tomorrow or we'll send you an email!!!
EGG ROLL EGG ROLL
2 Very pretty white eggs I saw...
WOW That didn't take long
Sharon i found that Aleve helps with the aches and pains in the body also.. Last night i had a fever but my feet were ice cold... Glad i have cats that love to sleep near my feet..lol I ams o achey across my shoulders and weak.. Guess from coughing... can i say Depends is the new word...lol
Nilla, I can't take Aleve or Advil or Motrin because I had gastric bypass, which is also the reason my blood is so low.
SHARON, you need to move up here and we will all help take care of you. We can't have our Number 1 Eagle Spotter sick!!
I'm signing off for the night. For those not feeling well, hope tomorrow is a better day. For the rest of you, STAY HEALTHY!
Hope to take your advice, Deb.
It's good night for me also.
We have one sound asleep eagle until the eggs start talking to him asking for an egg roll.
Everyone have peaceful dreams and a restful sleep. Prayers for all needs whether they be our own or our friends and family. (((HUGS)))

Good night - hope tomorrow brings a feel better day for those under the weather!

Please visit the candles for Sandy site. :=)

Up checking on our nest. Asleep not moving yet. I keep watch for awhile.

Take it easy Sharon pet, thinking of you all.
