hi all.
had a good day. went to the kids' house, took down a couple of trees and helped a little with yard work. grilled out, enjoyed the company.
JUDYE: you said it right, no we didn't get a good deal on the house, about half of what it was worth, but we have closure and connie no longer allowing it to run down.
am tired. doing some house stuff, laundry, etc yipppeeee.....
but its been a great weekend and i am thankful.

Have not been on all day. Did not have time before church and after church I headed outside. I planted flowers in pots all afternoon. Shaping up around here! Going to do the same tomorrow. Yea!!!
Carolyn, so very sorry about Charlie's sister. What exactly was wrong? I guess I missed that.
video of Shep tripping on the chicks sort of is done and on the blog SHEP AND BELLE were digging in the flugg and pulled out a brick of flugg Shep takes it from her and saunter to the other side of the nest and the sort of trips on the KIDS

Megan was bright and busy
at market, this was her first
day this year.....lots of Romaine Lettuce Plants, Broccoli!, Snapdragons, Foxglove, and
some Salvia with more of that to come.....I also got a beauteous
bouquet of little daffodils....
She looks beautiful as ever
and we talked of many things....
I didn't get the salvia yet,
and the broccoli might not have
enough room here to thrive....
but I'll give it my best try.

CAROLYN Sorry to hear about your SIL...It is not a bad thing that she was aware to the very end. I hope you get some answers and that you are able to deal with it. I think it is tougher because it is so close to your MOM'S anniversary...not a good week for sure.

and SANDI I passed ALL 4/21 tests and even though you and LYNNE were having fun with it I would say I passed with flying colours!!! This is unlike many folks in Vancouver. Nelson and Ottawa!!! Good thing Parliament was off for the weekend and they did not have to make any serious decisions. In 2015 The Liberal Party of Canada is hoping to make it all legal in Canada if they are elected to form the next government...so you see my new name is very modern, even though I do not inhale and do not puff on the weed!!!LOL

Hoda, I actually volunteered. She would most likely have asked, but I don't mind really. I have time coming up that I will be off, like for the viewing of my sil so. the extra 4 hours will help with what I lose in the shift differential.
My eyes are tired and I'm sure the sandman is headed to my valley. Tomorrow it will be so bright here in my house with the tree gone all my shade is gone. Told hubby I want an awning over some of the deck. We'll see what becomes of that.
Hoda - you have 2 puffers... which ones and is one long lasting and the other fast acting....? I just don't want you to get all puffed out. I am the Puffer Professor as I guess at one time or another I have had used them all!

Mema Jo, sorry about the loss of your tree. I know how you must feel--I'm rather attached to my 3 big Ficus trees. Would really miss any one of them. Are you going to plant another tree to replace it?
Had a busy day today, and I'm tired tonight. Think I'd better go hit the hay. Prayers have been said for everyone, for all our furbabies, and for our eagles. Still can hardly believe how fast Hedgie & Shamrock are growing up!

Be sure to google Yellow Crowned Night Heron. That is the bird Laurel has nesting out her back door...neighbors yard but oh so close! It really is a spectacular bird. The yellow on his head is really a rich bright yellow and the plumes are there on the top. Joey says when he spreads his wings there are those trailing plumes there, too.

I think all of the papers for my mortgage refinance have been gathered or are on the way. The woman at the courthouse seemed astonished when she found three boxes of papers from my divorce stored in their basement. And, what she does not know is that there are papers in two other jurisdictions. It was quite a divorce.

Yes JO two puffers and I will not get puffed up I am sure!!!Oh I just reread and it is puffed out you were concerned about!!! LOL!!!
I use an orange one in the morning when I first awaken one puff... followed by a blue one which gives me two puffs. Any time during the day that I experience a tightness or things closing down I can take two puffs of the blue...Not to exceed for times. If there is a need for a fifth time I am to go to emergency right away I am told.
I will be on this routine for seven days after symptoms disappear. They tell me to give four days for them to do so and if they do not I am to go to the hospital!!! They have me a bit nervous...so many instructions and hard to keep them all clear. Lts of people here are sick.
It is all good and I am sure healing is happening...

My 'puter has decided to let me come to the blog...last night, I couldn't get on here or facebook. I needed to know if my kids all arrived safely at the OBX (facebook is where they message me). I was able to get on FB this morning, and they all arrived safely. Weather wasn't very good today...hope tomorrow is a better day! Dustin is bored ALREADY (think he misses his girlfriend:)
We could have gone with them, but GG wasn't interested in going because she couldn't walk on the beach. I feel so badly for her, she lived to spend Winters in Florida and beachcombed every day.
Sandman has been knocking on my door...better let him in!

its a chilly morning here in nashville, but a beautiful day ahead....sunny and the low 70's predicted.
work today, then tryign to catch up on some of the house work i didn't get done this weekend. but know what i've figured out (shhh, this is a big one), if i don't get it done today, it won't go away! lol. it waits for me. (dogggone it!)....oh well.
as you can tell i feel wonderful this morning. realized i was waking up with a smile on my face.... so much thankfulness in my heart and spirit.
