good morning to one and to all. Thursday has come again.
70% chance of rain today; hope so. just nothing severe please!
yesterday was a much more normal day; rushing to get things done. got tom's school bus turned in, for a few weeks. he'll be picking the beast up again the end of july. (summer's just gonna fly by)....
ran some errands, did some massages. typical day.
got another call from the vet. luke's urine culture revealed a UTI...so now on antibiotics as well. thanks for the light and love for the old man...he is so sweet and such a fuzzy old dude.
not much new in my world. rode bikes int he cul de sac again last night. really want to get out and go to a park, but time jsut gets away! the trailer tires for the boat trailer came in yesterday and had those mounted so we put the boat back on the trailer.....then dinner, then the older neighbor came over to chat and then its 8 p.m. and getting dark....so we rode at the top of the hill. oh well, maybe this weekend?
gonna skeedaddle for now....not a lot going on. thinking of you all. light, love, hugs and smiles to all!

Good morning Janet and JudyE. Yes they are hoping around the nest. I believe it is Missy. Keeps flying up to stump and not too long flys back into nest.
I see one eaglet, presumably Bro, looking over his estate but do not even see a shadow for Missy. Wonder if she has actually fledged? Guess we'll find out.
DanaMo is experiencing her own fledgling this week. Congratulations to AnneMarie.
Shirley, why doesn't Hunter's team have practices? Always thought practice helped to foster good stuff like team cooperation and good skills can achieve positive results.
Janet, sorry Luke is having health problems. Never easy.
Speaking of animal health, Shirley how are your critters? May have missed some updates.
Decorah babes all edge-of-nest sitting. Couple of weeks behind Missy and Bro. Tried to see if I could find an update on Harmon a few days ago but didn't have any luck. Hope he's doing okay.
Now off to find coffee, newspaper, and then to complete a recommendation letter. Maybe some laundry, too.
Woke up with a migraine this morning and thinking it might be a "not so bad" one if I behave and use ice for a little while.
Pulled up the nest on the internet tv and have enjoyed the eaglets movements over the past 45 minutes or so. Seems like they want to be together. One kind of following the other for themost part.
Both sitting at 5 position - Is that what you call the launching pad??
See a shadow of either the stump or an eagle on the stump. It is not moving, so I would presume it is a shadow of the stump.
They are quiet and side by side barely in sight right now.
It is gorgeous outside right now up here. Cool and sunny. I need this headache to go away so I can enjoy this beautiful day. Rain comes back tomorrow afternoon!
Wishing all a great day today as we wait and watch!
Good point SHARON! We could be days or even a week ahead of our time!! They look ready, but we have no idea the day or hour they will fledge!!
63º here this morning and the birds are a singin'! Supposed to get up to about 70º later. Just perfect for me!!
I hear the Momma Robin screechingin our yard! She had 4 babies that fledged the other day!! Our other nest just hatched. It is too high for me to see in the nest, but I think that one has three eggs. Busy yard!!
Good Sunny Morning - that flapping on the stump shadow was beautiful! Deep down I am happy to see both! I think they are sticking together so they can race each other to a food drop - if & when!
Good morning! Well, we made it through the night. First round of storms was at midnight, then around 5 Jack had to peel me off the ceiling...WOW was the thunder loud and we lost our electricity for an hour. We got up turned things off (AC) and opened up the house. Then again about 8 we had a third storm roll through. With it we had teeny tiny hail and more tremendous thunder. We have had a little over an inch of rain. Very happy!!!
That has to be Missy yo yoing up and down from the nest to the stump. Just seems like her demeanor! Bro has taken up shade underneath her shadow. Smart boy!
I was enjoying the shadow of an eaglet while typing. Got a picture with it's wings spread. Really cool. I was thinking it would be neat to see the shadow fledge! LOL
No LINDA or should I say YES LINDA??? I was not up too late my timearound nine...I slept soundly and deeply till almost six this morning...5:30 any way...I have a morning meeting and a volunteer work to do with Friends of the Library this morning and I am enjoying the morning with reading and writing and looking up at the nest in between...the iphone works well for that...
OK Off to start my day...see you all later this afternoon...Friends of Library meeting and book sorting then tea with a friend and I hope a walk at the lake if the rain stops long enough to not get totally soaked.
HODA - Thanks for the "ginger" suggestion. Were you mentioning the ginger for nausea or for the migraine??
I will try just about anything!! Sometimes I get so frustrated because I just can't seem to get caught up. Then Dennis reminds me how much of my week gets taken up migh Migraines!! Ugh!
HODA - Which app do you watch the eagle cam through on your iphone?
I find that Iswifter lags quite a bit on my ipad and if my other computers are off, I can't use splashtop remote.
May need to lay down again for a bit and see if I can get this headache gone!
Happy Birthday JIM and Jennifer! May you both have the special days you deserve!
LOLLY - love that you got all that rain...we're supposed to get a lot of heavy rain tomorrow night. I want the water, just don't want it to wash out the new seeds that I'm hopeful will sprout and become grass!

GOOD MORNING, ALL.
#####################
I'm glad to see the live line is working again, and both eaglets can be seen.
It's going to be a bit muggy and warm (c. 80°) today in So Cal.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Oh I know they are waiting till Friday when PAULA is off work!!!
Good Morning Jim happy to see you stopping by :)
Hi Jim! It'll be a little warmer than 80 here today, but not much.
Good morning JIM yes the cam came back on yesterday and that sounds like too hot in Southern California
Just a little trivia for you. In 2009, the only eaglet hatched on March 14 (as did our Missy this year) and fledged June 8.
You can see the BWO chicks now.
C(°Ù¿°)D Jim
Pslmer?
When was the last food drop?
I only know of night before there was a whale in the nest when the cam went out
nothing yesterday and so far today nothing
looks like they are having a leaf or two for breakfast
The 2009 eaglet was Hidey! I still love him so much...there were a lot of us that started watching that season. Ah, Hidey...
Thanks for that Hidey trivia, Sharon! ♥

LOLLY - I hope your new plants didn't get trampled too much, although the rain was needed.
HODA - Did you get any sleep?? Seems like you were up late and again very early!
Missy seems antsy......but that is not unusual.
So we are thinking no food delivery unless there was a very early one before dawn today?

Carolyn's Jennifer has a birthday today! Happy Birthday to Jennifer!! She is 14 today!!
Thanks, LOLLY. Feeling a bit nauseous, too. I have had worse, so whenever it isn't completely unbearable, I am okay with it.
I was just bragging to Dennis last night before we went to bed that other than a mild one yesterday morning, I had gone about a week without one!!!
Serves me right for thinking they were gone for a while!

That is IF YOU SLEEP, HODA!!
Hail was teeny tiny, no problem at all! Oh, yes....the rain fell all over my yard! LOL Really loving it!!
I wish my body only required 6-7 hours of sleep. I would have 3 more hours in my day!
LINDA have you ever tried Ginger for the migraines? I heard it helps??? eating it in food or drinking it in tea...
HODA - Are you watching the nest through your iphone?
Or are you getting the posts sent throuth email to your phone?
It is 67....really loving the temp, too!
I am going to read the paper now. Can not read on the patio as it is too dark outside.
