Probably most everybody has seen this but I still wanted to share it again. This was the video I did and Glo shared and my blow-by-blow of the moments leading up to the fledge. Such an exciting and scary time.
6:41 a.m. He is at the launching pad. Been moving his wings a little bit, trying to get up the courage. Just back over to 9 o'clock and did a little poop shoot and then back to the launching pad. Lightened that load a little bit! Oh my God, he just spread his wings out, he has the look. Nope, folded them back in! Doing a lot of flapping all over the nest. Back at the launching pad, looking around. Just moved a little closer to the edge. He wants to really bad! He is so close to the edge, his head gets out of camera range sometimes. He keeps spreading his wings out like he is going to and then back in. It is 6:50 now. A little head bopping going on. Camera freezing up a little bit. Wings back out. Now back in but head still bobbing. My heart is racing. Head keeps going out of view. 6:56 a.m. Wings back out. 6:58 a.m. SPUNKY HAS FLEDGED!!!
I sure wish I lived up there I would be at the nest on the curb Next year I need to put in for my vacation time for the time when the next will fledge LOL
And I just disappeared into another office (the boss's) for 55 mins and came back to bring it up and have it.. the Live feed that is... we are on i-e here
Has anyone ever brought it up to Steve about installing another cam off away from the nest??????????? I was watching White Rock and I love the two cameras on it
good afternoon all. I am outside on my front sitting area viewing a fabulous still cam picture--best in weeks and also a live view. I guess rebooting or whatever they did worked for me. It is always a mystery why some of us an get a picture and some can't. I guess Missy is up out of sight and Bro is at the far right side of the nest.
To answer the question a few of you had, I am considering moving back to the Houston area, where I lived for over 40 years.
Just came in from the yard and am delighted to see our cam! Not sure which eaglet but got on just as it landed on the tree trunk right under the cam "Well...hello eaglet" But, it then dropped back into the nest.
It was just perfect outside this morning and I stayed out a long time and got a lot accompished. It is 88 now, so guess I will clean up and stay in.
LORETTA, can't wait to see your pics of the eaglets in the park.
SHARON, I was reading your play by play on Spunky and my heart was thumping! Didn't know Spunk, but guess those were the good old days!
Hello, JO! Thanks for the update on DanaMo's ducklings. We used to hatch them every year when I was growing up. My Dad made his own incubator and it worked great!
Great pictures SHAR thank you...I would have liked to have seen that.
Both still in one, Missy on nine stump and Bro was on launch pad when I first logged on and now he is next to nine branch looking out.
JO YES YES YES, the good DR OZ is right...I drink at least two cups of green tea a day and I eat phytoberries twice a day...good energy source and are anti oxidents and I strongly believe in their health benefits...
Missy down in the nest Bro goes to her looking for food? She now has three markings of white on her left wing just like Bro... Also white on her back...she is much bigger though...they are hungry where are Belle and Shep with something to eat please!!!
Well, I have been invited to and am going to attend Kelsey's bachelorette party Friday evening. I am so grateful they have included me in so much of this wedding preparation and everything that goes along with it! I am blessed.
JO I have both loose green tea and green tea in tea bags. Tazo is the brand for the tea bags and I buy the green tea in bulk from the health food store. Starbucks has a green tea powder that I tried but did not at all like...
I need to go prepare some rice and I have a salmon to cook and bok choy was fresh today so I got some and got two kinds of Kale...the eating is good in my flat today...
Enjoy SHAR. I am so happy you are included but then again she is very lucky to have you for a mother in law because you love her ever so very much and are always rooting for her/ for them rather
He is getting very anxious to get a food delivery. Well the parents will feed them less as the day for them to fledge gets near. Then the adults with food in their talons may attempt to get them to fly out
See Missy's wings from the stump...she may well fledge from there....it she does, hope she goes down behind the nest, we may have a chance to see her then
LOL Jo, it was comfy. John wanted to know how the beach was, so I had Michael take that pic and I sent it to him...told him I needed a bartender (that's his second job), LOL
I bet they wish they had the fish that they seem to ignore last nite before the cam went out It was just laying there I think they were waiting for someone to come and tear it up for them
OK they were both at the launch pad and when I came back only one is there...where di the other go? SHAR says it is only once that one fledged in the afternoon so I don't suppose she fledged...Hello that is Bro so Missy must be up nine??? HELP ANY ONE???
Yes LYNNE it iw rather amazing and I will miss them very much when they are gone...yet they are srtong and if anyone can survive in the wild it is these two...Bro sometimes made me wonder as he gave in too quicky yet he is strong and assertive and maybe it was just nest survival techniques so Missy would not peck him to death!!! WHERE IS SHE DID ANYONE SEE?
JO did any of this nests eaglettes ever fledge because Liberty or Belle had a fish in their talon and they chased them? The image seems very challenging to my mind...am curious...it was a good size fish in the nest last night when the cam went out...they are hungry but not starving...
Here is something weird for you. On Thelma's computer, it shows 1 eaglet in the nest and it is moving. On my computer, it shows both eaglets in the nest side by side. What in the world? What are you seeing?
Hi all! I am too pooped to pop. Think I am going to bathe and get comfy early. Then I can fall asleep very, very comfy in my chair. The day was so nice I worked all day in the yard. We went back to Weston gardens and got two plants. On the way home came back through Everman and bought to plates of barbeque for dinner. Yum!
well you didn't ask, you just threw it out as weird and I had to throw my two cents in...
hey, have fun at the party Friday, Sharon...
I am finally almost finished with the mailings of the Memorial programs...almost... trying to nail down a few addresses I am not sure of.... Chrissy's is out the door Thursday!
We are expecting more storms tonight. Wonder if it will again be 1/10th of an inch. No flood threats that way. LOL Laurel has had a total of an inch and a half. Wish we would get that.
On my screen SHAR and THELMA I saw when Missy came down from the nine position and went to where Bro was laying and then layed right next to him he beaked a couple of times. Right now she is facing eleven and he is facing seven but next to the nine branch...all seems to be well...maybe just a delayed reaction on THELMA'S computer???
Hoda I think the parent with fish inviting the young one isn't what any of ours had happen. Of course, we weren't there under the nest watching - so who is to say.
Hoda sorry "here" is where I am staying, not at the nest... just a few resident bunnies trying to increase the bunny population here in the country.. "My bad..."
Hello Everybody in Eagleland. Was planning to put eagle pics on, but had to wait to dwnload camera. Something I've never heard of or seen before occurred in the back yard when I got home tonight!Concerns rabbits. Gotta eat! BBL

Good evening. I was so excited to see our eaglets hop flying this afternoon, that I took a little trip to the local eagle nest and saw that there are definitely two branching eaglets here in western PA. I had seen two heads a few weeks ago but today one was at the edge of the nest and another one was on a nearby branch. I went home and got my birding buddy and 30 minutes later we just saw one. We stopped by a nearby lake/pond and were looking for the parents and saw a large bird circling. It turned out to be an osprey that dove into the lake and caught a fish. We weren't even aware that ospreys were in the area. And I owe the whole experience to Missy and Bro who inspired me to get out of the house today.
Stopping by to say good night. Baseball game for Hunter this evening. A bunch of games in the near future, then the playoffs. I think they will be out of that quickly.
Hasn't been a good season. No wins yet. Coach does not have any practices. Not the best way to run a team.
I told myself I was not going to do this. The yard work today has killed me. Tomorrow I will NOT work all day, only a few hours. LOL My back does not hurt, in fact I do not hurt anywhere...I am just dead tired!!! Not sleepy, just can not move!
Received in the mail today a sweet note from Carolyn. Loved her note card...a picture of Belle feeding her babes. She said she won them as a door prize at the un-open house. Who had them made up? Beautiful!!!
Have not heard from Laurel but looking at radar see that they have been getting the worst of the storms tonight. Certainly hope they are not getting lots of big hail! We have heard thunder just once. It is still not near us, but headed our way. We will not be getting the major storm.
I will set the alarm JO to get up for the 6:00 AM watch...I would simply love to see the fledge. I will take a nap tomorrow after I go to do work with the Friends of the Library. We have to sort books again as we got a huge donation...
Oh, I'm so glad that both peaglets are still here! Worries me when the cam doesn't work. Kind of hoping that they will fledge tomorrow, rather than Friday. I have to drive Sis-in-law up to L.A. International Airport (LAX) on Friday morning, VERY early. We'll be leaving from her house at about 5:30 a.m. Pacific time. I don't want to miss the fledge!!
Sure do appreciate the posts about what Missy and Bro are doing! Thank you to everyone who's been posting!
It's been a lazy day here today. Have had a couple of panda naps with Emma. Did a bit of housework, and watered plants outside too.
Judie, I've never heard of having just internal stitches. That's a new one for me! I'm not fond of the procedure either, considering the misery it's put poor Gracie through! Hope she's doing better.
Well, I'm still tired--feel as if I have "sleeping sickness" today! Feel fine, just sleepy. Think I'll retire early and get caught up. Have said prayers for everyone, and for every creature. The porch light is on. Both security systems are enabled. Sleep well, everyone. SED! God bless, and goodnight. Love all of you! ♥♥Lynn♥♥ ♥Carolyn & Christie♥ I ♥ us!!
Good Night Again Everyone, anyone still lurking around...
Wanda? I bet you are going to pop on here...come to think of it...when did we see you last? I missed the Soup Kitchen report if you were able to give one...Hope all is Well with you and the family...
Lori, you will be the next one UP for the day, have a good one, I'll be listening while going to work....
JO, I easily see one eaglet in the nest moving around...the other could be in there being very still. It's hard to see, but definitley one eaglet...lemme look again.

Seeing that makes me wish we could pan the cam back just a little bit more....
If Missy takes off into the wild blue -
we aren't going to see anything. :(
Usually around 2pm food comes in and we should see Missy drop!
I don't see her shadow anymore
never mind...there she is
I need to break away for a few -
Keep your eyes on the birds!

Oh, and have seen the wing of the one on the stump. So no fledge yet, that we know of.
Watched once again the video. Thanks, Sharon.
Both peaglets in the nest.
Jo, really needs to climb up to the nest. I do believe we see two turtle shells.
You mean 2 eagle helmets, right? :)
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN LOL
Wait until Hoda sees this
Dr OZ recommends Green Tea
hot cold or in other drinks
and hydrated blueberries
'eat them by the handfuls'during the day
Judy - (when you return) The idea of another cam in another tree has been talked about for a few years.
WOWSER Both in the nest at the same time.. Hasn't been happening too often - maybe it is meal time
DanaMO's ducklings are hatching. FB has a video
I wasn't watching - I guess Missy is up on the stump
I do see Missy's wing on the stump.
Need to leave for an hour -
If you're lurking and see something spectacular - please make comments.
Good afternoon all!
What a lively group today!
LORETTA, can't wait to see your

Hello, JO! Thanks for the update on DanaMo's ducklings.
We used to hatch them every year when I was growing up.
My Dad made his own incubator and it worked great!
Lori, my heart was thumping while I was typing it. I felt like I was getting ready to make the big plunge! :)
Well, I just realized I wasn't friends with DanaMO on Facebook. How in the world did that happen?
Great Pictures, Sharon....

Hoda what brand of green tea do you drink or doesn't it matter. Will it be in tea bags or loose.
Well, I have been invited to and am going to attend Kelsey's bachelorette party Friday evening. I am so grateful they have included me in so much of this wedding preparation and everything that goes along with it! I am blessed.
I am waiting for pics from Lori who said she had a baby pool for the ducklings.
Home from work and boy is Bro voicing his opinions it sounds like -never heard him make that kind of sound before
JO I have both loose green tea and green tea in tea bags. Tazo is the brand for the tea bags and I buy the green tea in bulk from the health food store. Starbucks has a green tea powder that I tried but did not at all like...

Brother is practicing his flapping and he can go from one side airborne to the

trunk where the cam is
I did see Missy's wing tip on the stump
Great Judy = I got a few stills for the album
Now who could be knocking at our door ?
lol
this is toooo cool
aww jumped down
Good Show Bro! That was excellent!
He is getting very anxious to get a food delivery. Well the parents will
feed them less as the day for them to fledge gets near. Then the adults with food in their talons may attempt to get them to fly out
Wow! They have really grown!
OH I would love to be there to see that if that happened the flying with food in talons that would me something to see
It looks like the launch pad isn't as clear as it used to be. Looks like a little branch or limb over there.
wow he was up on the trunk almost 6 min
and we are back and I just turned back on the cam yeah
and back down
I think he is telling her he doesn't need the 9 stump LOL
I first thought Missy was going to try the 6 but guess not Looking for food both eaglets are
Great reporting...thank you JO and JUDYE and SHAR.
I wonder what they are looking at
they are just so friggin cute
They are definitely waiting on some food.
I am going to miss this so much
mouth beak opens but no sound from it
they both turned their heads at the same time
JO as I was preparing a cup of green tea, I checked where TAZO comes from and it is from Portland Oregon...so it is USA made...Good tea.
Did Missy go back up to nine branch?
Thanks for the Tea brand name & let you know if I find it.
I think Missy went up on the Stump
If and when food does come I hope it can be shared by 2. This is where human emotions have not place!! ♥
You know I meant No Place for Human
Feelings and Emotions...... :(
We really don't know when they were last fed due to the cam being down...
Whoo hoo, cam is on! Love it
I saw you in your hammock - looks so comfy! Moreso then a nest of sticks!
See Missy's wings from the stump...she may well fledge from there....it she does, hope she goes down behind the nest, we may have a chance to see her then
Back down into the nest she comes....really flapping all over
I'm imagining you in your hammock, Paula :)
and looky two peaglets for you to watch
LOL Jo, it was comfy. John wanted to know how the beach was, so I had Michael take that pic and I sent it to him...told him I needed a bartender (that's his second job), LOL
Margy - another reason to chalk up as to why you should have FB
Oh geeze, thought she was leaving...there must be a small stick at the launch pad, she hopped/flew to it and right back
BRO really needs that late evening
food drop. Missy is tired any lying down
Bro has a little 'terrace' down at the launch pad.
Heading to Wally world....bbl
Eaglet found a nestover....must have feathers....defeathering

Don't the food deliveries become less frequent now, so as to encourage fledging?
Yes Lynne, they do. With the cam being down All morning into the afternoon - I have no idea when they were last fed
Bro is tearing up the nest looking for
some kind of food - I even saw him nibbling at the leaves.....
Hungry birds are Angry Birds!!!
Get your talons off of me
Quit grabbing my leg

I am recording I am uploading the one from where he went up and got close to the cam on the 6 branch its almost done 14min it says
I can hardly believe that we are at this point in the peaglets lives already. What a pleasure seeing them come this far!
WOW what was that Bro...he almost went over the railing at five!!!
Whoops I left for 3 minutes - what did I miss - Did Missy go up on her stump?
Yes LYNNE it iw rather amazing and I will miss them very much when they are gone...yet they are srtong and if anyone can survive in the wild it is these two...Bro sometimes made me wonder as he gave in too quicky yet he is strong and assertive and maybe it was just nest survival techniques so Missy would not peck him to death!!! WHERE IS SHE DID ANYONE SEE?
YEP after the little tiff they had she went to the stump
I do not know JO I was gone less than a minute and when I cam back she was no longer at the launch pad...I did not see her...
I had forgotten about that whopper fish, Judy.
At least they had some morning food
She is up on 9er
She would not fledge this late in the day would she?
Thanks JUDYE that is comforting.
I have it all on video remember LOL
I didn't like they were fighting sort of glad she went up LOL
this is a pic grab from this evening
We'll have some Moonshine on the nest tonight
Missy comes down to the launch pad looks around and hops back up to nine branch...Bro is plotzed.
Back down and back up she goes...
JO did any of this nests eaglettes ever fledge because Liberty or Belle had a fish in their talon and they chased them? The image seems very challenging to my mind...am curious...it was a good size fish in the nest last night when the cam went out...they are hungry but not starving...

Good Night Sharon....Hope Sleep is Sweeeet
our computers at work are sometimes a few seconds different...very weird if you ask me...and I think you did, sort of...well, all of us that is
xoxo
Hi Lolly, more bunny porn tonight here was observed... :)
Also, coming home through Everman we saw the Monk parakeets. Had not seen them for a while. They have huge nest (condos) on the electrical poles.
Uh, oh...bunny porn! Cover your eyes!
This was more like minutes different instead of seconds.
And I was curious as to whether whoever posted it on the other blog had read ours! :)
well you didn't ask, you just threw it out as weird and I had to throw my two cents in...
hey, have fun at the party Friday, Sharon...

Good late evening.
I see the live cam has returned and the babes are still practicing to leave home. Sorry I missed so much today and this evening.
Got my "do" did and then went to a meeting about prevention of bullying. Then Darth and I let others do the cooking and cleanup.
Tired. Hope everyone had a good day and the live cam stays with us as we prepare to congratulate Belle and Shep on a very good eagle season.
Night light is set for 11:30pm and the sandperson will be on the way. Restful sleep for all.
Hoda I think the parent with fish inviting the young one isn't what any of ours had happen. Of course, we weren't there under the nest watching - so who is to say.
Tomorrow early morning - 31st
Very thankful the moon is out..
Might be the last night in the nest to see them Boo Hoo :(
I don't even like thinking of the
MT Nest Syndrome
Ahhhh...nice warm shower here I come!
I won't even ask...Bunny Porn??? What is going on???Never mind I do not want to know!!! LOL!!!
SHAR I saw you post several times SED before it became frequently used on this blog...
LOLLY uses it so often that I think we have now taken it on.
I need to leave for an hour
My eyes are getting strained

Hello Everybody in Eagleland. Was planning to put eagle pics on, but had to wait to dwnload camera. Something I've never heard of or seen before occurred in the back yard when I got home tonight!Concerns rabbits.
Gotta eat! BBL
Margy said "my bad". I love it. :-)

LORETTA???what is it cathing??? Read MARGY'S post...but you must have heard of that...oh my it must be the season!!!
Bro is awake and moving about next to nine branch.
Was it you Loretta?
I have on the nest blog the video of LIL BRO hopping on the 6 branch under the cam and also one pic with it
Bro on the 6 branch and more
I'll make this quick:
these bunnies do the most unusual hopping straight up into the air,
a little chase, more hop up...
then they, well, settle down for a few seconds...then take off like race horses around the yard
I'm with Jo on this, last few moonlit nest nights with eaglets in the nest are upon us for this season
it's been a good year for this Royal Family...a few bumps in the road here and there, but wow what a performance we've experienced

WOW neat and great sighting Grannyblt. :)
Back from the stores.
Nice to see Missy and Bro in the nest
Grannyblt, that is wonderful! Cool that you found out there were osprey nearby as well!
I saw SED on the eagle chat for Harmon, at the MN nest. Has anyone checked on Harmon, lately?
I have heard of the feeds timing being different on different computers!
If the eaglets weren't touching the fish last night, it's because they were full!!
Sharon, if you started posting SED before I brought it over, I apologize...I missed it!
The fledge will be Friday morning. I am working 5-11 so I will be up to see her go. :-)
No no no, I didn't mean that. I have just always said the good night and sweet eagle dreams Before going to bed. Sall good.
I LOVE US.

Stopping by to say good night. Baseball game for Hunter this evening. A bunch of games in the near future, then the playoffs. I think they will be out of that quickly.
Hasn't been a good season. No wins yet. Coach does not have any practices. Not the best way to run a team.
Long day is finally done and I'm in bed!! Worked, came home to shower, have dinner and off to church. Just got home an hour ago!
Glad to see the cam is back and our eaglets did not fledge while it was not operating!
Enjoyed all the conversation and reporting today!!
Just beat the night lite Judie set for 11:30!
Wishing you all restflu sleep!
Prayers for all in this roost and beyond!
Night
Heading to bed now. I need to get this body stretched out!
Night all! SED!!!!
I love us!!♥
I will set the alarm JO to get up for the 6:00 AM watch...I would simply love to see the fledge. I will take a nap tomorrow after I go to do work with the Friends of the Library. We have to sort books again as we got a huge donation...
Hi, Everyone,
Oh, I'm so glad that both peaglets are still here!

Good Night Again Everyone, anyone still lurking around...
Wanda? I bet you are going to pop on here...come to think of it...when did we see you last? I missed the Soup Kitchen report if you were able to give one...Hope all is Well with you and the family...
Lori, you will be the next one UP for the day, have a good one, I'll
be listening while going to work....
(( ALL THE TIME HUGS )) for everyone...
XO 'Night now
1:35 and all caught up.
JO, I easily see one eaglet in the nest moving around...the other could be in there being very still. It's hard to see, but definitley one eaglet...lemme look again.
Can't tell, but I will keep the cam up at work...it gets light pretty early now so I'll have another report then, around 5:ish.
Have a great day everyone!
Time to hit the kitchen and get stuff ready for work. :)
5:03 and both eaglets are in the nest. YAY, we still have 'em!
Good morning!
Today is Annemarie's last day at St. Mary Catholic School as an 8th grader. Graduation is Sunday. I'm excited, happy, and sad...
I can't believe our eaglets will be leaving soon. Where are they going to go...who is going to watch them...boo hoo.
Good morning, DMo!
I know it's always so sad when they fledge, to me anyhow it's a sad time.
But, congrats to AnneMarie! Your baby is growing up, Mom!
One eaglet in the nest now...it was
wingercizing like crazy earlier!
I saw that wingercizing...
Doing it now too!
Is the other one gone? Big jumps.
