Thanks for the call over Jim. Steve thanks for the new thread.Nice day today!
Hi again. Bad girl is back. Had another errand to run after leaving the hospital and it took me right back DQ---got myself a PB Sundae!Judie----you home yet??? Jo???
You are a Bad girl, Lynn! I can not do that kind of thing...I would blow up like a balloon!Been out doing some last minute shopping. Was going to wash the SUV but there are some clouds that look like rain. Oh well....
Lolly, you have done so well with your diet, you can afford a treat now and then!
LOL Just talked with Laurel. I asked about Jacob's venture outside sans clothing. I was picturing him just outside the door, oh no, he was at the end of the drive way. It was still light. He had put his ice cream dish down in the middle of the drive and he had remembered it and went and got it. Laurel was upstairs, she looked out a window and there he was in his full glory!!
Y'all might have an exhibitionist on your hands, Lolly. ROFL!!
Thanks Steve - Tuesday it isNo new baby yet for Mema Jo.. I thinkgd walked it off. Soon I pray.Dinner time here - BBILW
Bad Girl #2 Went out to lunch and shared a piece of peanut butter pie!Boy it was good!
Oh, lots of bad girls! Good girl here! No baby, yet, huh? Hope it is soon. Very good friend got her first grand daughter recently. This baby girls name is Findley. This is her mother's maiden name. So, Jack has made a Findley name train. Also, our best friends are expecting their first grandchild, a granddaughter, in the next couple of weeks. Her name will be Rhyan. This is the baby I made the burp rags for.
YooHoo.....those corrupt city officials in Bell, CA were arrested today for fraud and other charges!!! Current and former officials including the mayor! The people are taking their city back.
Hi, Gang,Just about to eat dinner before running to school, but want to say hello and wish HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DELPHIA!! Hope you're having a spectacular day!Have been busy around the house today, and accomplished much. Our 4 Anna's hummers are still here, fussing at each other and tanking up on the nectar.Oops--dinner's ready! Will BBL, after school. :o]
I had a surprise.. Jenny accidentally on purpose (I thnk) popped open her trunk and told Aaron to hurry up and close the trunk so Mema can't see what is in it! She said it's your birthday present.. I convinced her that I needed it now - not a month from now.It is George II if you remember George I that Sissy took home from last year's Open House. Totally different from George I but is made from wood - It is from RT 68 - Lynn you know exactly what it looks like!Jenny said I better not take it to the raffle! lol I'll try to get a pic posted somewhere.
Cam clunks......come on down....
Hear flapping, too.
Oh Mema Jo I hope you do get a picture of it. I can't remember what Sissy took home with her. So I forget what George I even is??????
I sure will be happy when we hear from Judie.
Heard the clunks! Come ooooooooooooon downnnnnnnnnnnnn!
George is an eagle. Anxious to see your picture, Jo. Know you ar ewxcited!

Waiting for our visitors.....Dana go into the Open House 2009 album on E_M
Oh come on down ( :
I hear em, too, hope they come down.
Why do they need to wait until it is so dark and Spidey's web is covering so much
That white spot back in the back does move like it is in the web.
Maybe it is HP and they don't want us seeing them????
I think they're teasing us. They'll probably drop in when Jeopardy starts!
Ok I'm leaving they aren't coming into the nest --- bye Liberty and Belle.
Well that didn't fool them a bit did it!!!
They must not realize that TV shows are almost starting......
Yes an these shows are important to us. I thought when the hammer was put in the nest so was a tv. Wasn't a tv put in the nest????
I am almost ready to call it a night for bird watching and start my tube watching.......
There is a beautiful moon out.
Looks full to me
Clunk Clunk Clunk
Hope the soup kitchen went really well for Wanda and Father Gene.Doing things like that for others should really make you feel good!
Last night the moon was soooooo bright. Aren't we to be looking for Jupiter and its moons.
ok, NOT tonight, there are plenty more!
Oh Dana - FULL Moon meansbirthing babies...... WHoo HooThinking of that just gave me hope!
I meant for eagles, not Jupiter.Jupiter should be visible, Jo.

Lolly, ROFL at Jacob's adventure!Hurry for Jo, a George!Clunk clunkI've been good!
But I've been bad...they had Klondike bars on sale a couple of weeks ago....bought 2 packs, ate them all! One each night till they were gone. I was good tonight and didn't buy any treats at the grocery store.
I waS about to ask you if you had anything Yummy today.Waiting to hear from Judie about the new doc.Shirley should be teaching the oneevening class.
Hubby found Klondike Bars at the best price for quanity at Sams.He just didn't trust himself to buy so many due to eating them all too fast........
I'm not waiting for anymore clonksGetting my tv loungewear onand heading to the TV 8 - 11:00BBL..........
Such a pleasant evening out...got off work at a decent hour, so I decided to cook a steak and some mushrooms on the grill...will have with fresh sliced maters...yuuuummmmHappy Birthday Bird Girl!!!Oh, I still have hummers, feeder still going down.Jo, how was LaPaz? Great day to be out. Early congrats on new great grandbaby.
Hi. I know everyone is watching some new t.v. programs and hope they are good ones. Many adventures today.New dr. is really nice. Had many tests. Doesn't think I need any more surgery right now. Wants to see me again in 6 mo. to scan the carotid arteries. Gave a referral for a cardiologist. Will likely have heart tests. I am an internist. Said he thinks at my age and with my health issues, I need consistent regular care. Next, tripped over some #@&*@ in the garage (did I mention Darth is a hoarder?) and have a rather large flap of skin that used to be completely attached to my shin. Much red stuff everywhere. Have patched with gauze and sterile solution. Will watch to see if I need urgent care tomorrow. Too tired to spend the night in E.R.Next, went out to feed the critters about 5pm. Heard hissing but thought the neighbor was watering lawn. Other neighbors, walking dogs, came to the door to ask if we smelled gas. Well, actually, yes now that we're outside. Called Washington Gas. So the brave firemen arrived to save us. Hissing was gas escaping from neighbors gas line. Firemen arrived about 3 minutes after I called. Nice firemen. So now my dear friends, in the absence of Klondike Bars or Peanut Butter Pie, or a Dairy Queen, I have obtained a large glass of wine and plan to read the newspaper. I am very tired. Too much excitement.Paula, hope you had a nice dinner.Jo, hope the newest arrives soon.I WANT KLONDIKE BARS AND PEANUT BUTTER PIE!
I am NOT an internist. I need to FIND an internist.
Oh, Judie!! What a day! Have a big ol glass of wine!! You deserve it and a slice of peanut butter pie!Oh, and your poor shin. Ouch! And the gas!!! Wow! That is really scary. We are total electric, no gas lines in this neighbor hood. Just gas wells. LOL
Cheers and clink, Judie :)
Good NCIS!!!! Glad those storylines are wrapped up----hopefully!
Judie, so relieved to hear that Dr. doesn't have any immediate concern ---was halfway afraid he might slap you in the hospital and want to do surgery right away!!!!Poor shin----unfortunately, if you wait more than 8 hrs. chances are they can't/won't suture it. Wound edges become too friable to hold sutures. ELEVATE LEG!!!!
I give Gibbs NCIS a Big 10.Baby is not here yet.... sil John called to say Kris is spending night at Melissa's. We call her Mo Jo! She is sleeping now.... We all said "We are playing this by ear"NCIS LA is coming on. Started with a big Boom!JUDIE - man oh man you could have been a big boom. Thankful you are ok and getting good advice from doc. Find a good internist! They are out there! Did doc suggest any?BBILW
Judie, the gas leak would be especially alarming after what happened in CA! Whew----glad you had a rapid response!
Callen has a house! Whoo Hoo!It is where he lived as a youngster.Going to check out the 10:00 NCIS:LABBILW
Just popping in to say goodnight everyone, and prayers for all....Judie, my goodness what an adventure you've had today. Hope the leg isn't too serious.See y'all in the morrow!
OK, must confess... I'm very bad too. Had TWO Klondike bars while babysitting (they are NOT as large as they were in the old days so really it was only one and a half)Now having MORE ice cream. I really must get control of my sugar addiction....
Here's a story for you:Comatose Panda recovers
Back for a final few words -- only a few after the book I wrote earlier.Dr. did recommend a cardiologist, supposed to ask cardiologist to recommend an internist. Will lose the skin and have a scar. Looks bad tomorrow, I go to urgent care. Just too tired tonight.Lynne2 - Klondike Bars eaten while babysitting do NOT have sugar or calories.Jo, who is Callen? I've missed something along the way.Thank you all for your support. Am turning my light off but will leave the night light on for others headed back the hallway, down to tub, up the stairs, and Shirley and Andy coming in late.
Sissy posted on FB:Den called. He & Rita are at the hospital. Granny’s hemoglobin is low. They're given her blood but are unable to keep her blood pressure up. She's getting congestive heart failure. The blood will give her too much fluid so they will give her Lasix to get rid of the volume. They've already done this once today & her blood pressure dropped 30 points with the Lasix. This is significant & the nurse told Den that if it were her mother, she would camp out in the waiting room. Tom is on his way to the hospital.
Judie, you didn't miss anything! Callen is a character on NCIS: LA.Sleep well. You need a good nights' rest.
Serious prayers for Mrs. Riffe and her family. I really want her to recover.
Going to try to go to sleep early, loong day tomorrow. I'm as excited as a child going to Disney Land. 5 hour drive in the Eagle Express sounds like heaven right now. Can't remember how long it's been since we've had a trip.Soup Kitchen was rockin' tonight. We had 19 and many of those were children. Love to have the kids there to cheer up things. I have something very exciting in the making! I asked Chrissy to get Matt (her son) to do a scetch or painting for us as a door prize for Open House. He has agreed, but Chrissy said that unless it is pleasing to his eyes, he will not send it. I WANT THAT!!Will keep you informed:)GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDSSWEET DREAMSPRAYERS FOR ALL...SPECIAL ONE FOR GRANNY RIFFE
Oh my - Granny Riffe - Praying for youand for all your family.News time on TVI need to catch up here. Next Tues at 10 pm will be The Good Wife..
I was wondering who Callen was, too. Hope the leg is better tomorrow, Judie.Wanda, enjoy your trip!!Got my bills all paid, the money's all gone, may as well go to bed!!More estate stuff tomorrow night...taxes....UGH.Big prayers for Granny Riffe.Hugs to all ♥
Wanda, know what you mean about your trip. Have a great time, relax and enjoy. We got more packing done today. Have been doing it slowly as the trailer was here for a few repair jobs and we had the time.Tomorrow....hair appointment. Gotta get beautiful. By the time I see you, I will be needing another hair cut! Yikes!Prayers going up for Tom's mom and for the whole family.Really exciting to get something from Chrissy's Matt.
Been a long day...I'm calling it quits. Really worn out---trek into hospital really was.....construction going on caused me to have to walk what seemed like half a mile to get in and to where I had to go. I couldn't make it back out to truck. Had to ask to be taken out in a wheelchair----was just totally out of breath. Ridiculous not to move H/C parking if you shut down part of the parking lot and road through it.Prayers for all in need, esp. Mrs. Riffe and injured Judie and Lynne.....and hope that Jo has a new ggD (for SOphia!) by morning.Goodnight.
Nite Lynn! So sorry about your experience at the hosp today. Get to bed and get a good nights rest.I am thinking of heading to the shower.Nite all! Sweet dreams!
I am going back the hallwayGood NightPrayers for Granny Riffe and for all others' wants and needs.Hugs to All ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Hi everyone. Been away for a while. Prayers for Mrs. Riffe's quick healing and no more problems for her. Wanda have fun on your excursion, sounds like fun and no worries. Take pics. Margy & Lynn and any other near by will take good care of GG. She's doing so well. THank GodI must get my chair ready .....Judie, I'm very glad you made your appointment today. I'm not sure what your problem was except that you were having trouble with your legs, but hope & pray your on the road to wellness. Get that skinned leg fixed.Jo, glad you have a nice lunch and looked at your pictures on fb, but most of them are not identified. I'm not familiar with your family.Loretta, I too have had some trouble with this new pc, get disgusted and later just use my notebook. Shhhhh, it's working okay now but I wonder how long it might last.I have my older pcs waiting to be cleaned out and one I want to save all my research off it to use to continue my genealogy work. Took 10 years to get what I have and I'd hate to lose it. Oh well,,,,Lolly, the story about Jacob brought back some funny memories for me. My mom was bathing my little sister, Mary. Mother went to get her clothes and mary took her socks out the door to the front and sat on milkbox to put on her socks.. I was ordered (as the oldest) to go get her. It's more funny today. If I missed anymore, please forgive me. I'm really getting tired and will now head to my recliner.Sweet dreams and God bless us everyone, especially Mrs. Riffe.
Caboosing it here, Eagle Palsjust got caught up on commentswe're into the last 23 official hours of summer, fall begins at 11:09 pm Wednesdaywith the Full Moon following Thurs morning at 5:17 amsure looks full already
Sounds like a tough day for Lynn, Judieand Granny RiffeGlad the doctor, Judie, seems to have given you a pretty good report and some good recommendationsPrayers for wellness and recoveryand prayers for all our other needs here including for wellness and many other things
Jupiter's moons are funny, four of them, they change positions pretty rapidly, sometimes two on each side, sometimes one and three, and sometimes all four on one side of....positioned around Jupiter that is..not the easiest objects to view but with a little practice it gets better...think "averted gaze"Also with a good pair of binocs you should be able to see Uranus pretty "close" to Jupiter these days but with the brightness of the Moon right now, it won't be quite so easy
so glad you saw the Eagles Tuesday morning Lynne2, andsorry there was not an evening visit Paula! For once you were home at an earlier hour to view Sounds like a great Soup Kitchen Tuesday Wanda and Gene...and Bon Voyage Happy Trails !
Well, another "George" in the family, Jo, how neat! Hoping to read of the great-grandchild birthing todaykinda of late, but since there is a time difference between here and Arizona: Happy Birthday Bird Girl...Hope this was a great day for you !
time to check out hope that the nighttime brings restful sleep to all Megan, you know I always appreciate your telling us the monthly Full Moon name....but most of all, it would just be great to some floralgirl on here againGood Night everyone, and God Bless Us, Every One xo ☺ ♥
Howdy, Gang,I made it home from school OK. Got here about 1/2 hour ago, and have been trying to catch up on what's happening.Lynn, so sorry to hear of the parking lot mess at the hospital! Hope you're feeling OK now that you are home, and hope the mammo. is fine. Praying that you get a really good night's sleep!Paula, guess what--Hubby & I had steaks (Spencers!) and mushrooms for dinner too (Also salad and cauliflower with cheese sauce)!Oh, Judie! What a day you had! Glad the Dr. was nice, and the appt. went well. Really sorry to hear of your fall, and resulting huge owie! Would put tons of Neosporin with pain killer on it, and it will not only feel better, it might not scar so badly. Hope if it looks bad in the morning that you'll go to urgent care or something. Sounds like nothing to mess with. Oh, my gosh! The gas leak too! Yikes, I'm sure glad the firemen got there with warp speed! Do NOT want your neighborhood exploding! Hope the problem is fixed "good and proper!"Hope you DID have a nice big glass of wine, AND either Klondike bars OR peanut butter pie, or BOTH, OR something even MORE insanely rich and sweet! Girlfriend, today you have EARNED it! Prayers for your fast healing!Heartfelt prayers for Granny Riffe! Hope she makes a miraculous recovery--bless her heart!Diann, got a kick out of your story about your little sister. LOL :oD
Margy, sounds like you're already pillow surfing. Sorry I missed you!Tried looking for the moon and Jupiter, but we have some pretty heavy cloud cover tonight, so nothing is visible here. Drat!I'm with you--have been missing Megan too. Hope she's OK, and not working TOO hard! Well, think I'm going to go watch some TV for a bit, and unwind. Judie has left the night light on. I'm leaving the porch light on for others. Prayers have been said for everyone--especially Granny Riffe. The eye-scanner security and Dana's thumbprint-scanner security are both enabled. (Did they ever catch the fugitive who was loose in your vicinity? Sure hope so!) Sleep well, everyone, and I'll talk to you tomorrow. God bless, and goodnight! Love all of you! :o]
From Bev on FB at about 6amBeverly Crisco Riffe Good morning FB friends and family. Granny is still holding her own, BP is still low. I am getting Mattie off to school and heading to the hospital. Will keep you posted when I know more.Good morning all...continued prayers for Granny RiffeWell, I'm here, waiting for eagles!Lynnellen, that is SO unacceptable that they don't provide HC parking I don't care what's going on in the parking lot. It's a freakin' HOSPITAL and they should have made provisions!!! Just tell me where and I'll go open up a can of WHOOP ASS on them! Seriously, I hope you are OK after that...and you should call or write a complaint. That's just crazy.Wanda, what a cool thing you did getting Matt to do a picture!!!Thank you Judie for letting me know about the Klondike's not having calories if you're babysitting. Lord knows I ran them off while I was there even if they DID have calories!
Hey Margy, do you have a telescope or did you see the moons with binos? I have a telescope but it's not that easy to tune ( that's not the word but you know what I mean!). I think I'll try to do that today so I can look tonight. It's just a little inexpensive one I've had for years, and I have seen 3 of Jupiter's moons with it before, and Saturns rings, too!
LynneI know exactly what you mean about getting the telescope tuned!I have one but it's been all boxed up for a few years....I use binocs to view, but its iffy at best to see those four moons....sometimes I have better luck than otherscould be my eyes are older these days...I used to be able to make a little sketch every night of the positions of Jupiter's moons
I was watching the nest some this morning too...did not see an eagle in ours, but I could have missed itthanks for the update regarding Granny Riffe Lynne....prayers continue for her and the familytime for me to leave for the dayBest wishes for a good one, everyonexoxo
Hi and bye Margy! Have a good day!
More sad Bear news...Lily's Brother Killed
Looks like our birds are a now show...unless they are making a new schedule of appearances.
Good Morning in Eagle Land and I DO MEAN THAT!! After reading Judie's comment.Judie was so happy to read your comment.I too was worried they were going to throw you right into the hospital.Did they give you a suggestion foran Internist? Read where he suggested a cardiologist.Oh Judie are you sure you don't need some stitches??? I know you are smart and won't leave it go too long. Then neighbors checking to seeif you smelt a gas leak. The LORD was watching over you & Darth.Mema Jo was right NCIS Los Angles started out with a boom. I am glad it was that show and not you and Darth. HUGS!!!
Oh thank you Hedgie-Lynn for the report that turned out good for Pai Pai the Giant Panda.Wonder what the name means, maybe one who lives.
Bev I am very sorry to hear ofMrs. Riffe's condition. Prayershave and are being said. GladTom is heading for hospital tobe with other family members.Wanda only 5 hrs. well youjust have to go there beingthat close...Disney Land forWanda and Father Gene. tee heeSoup Kitchen sounds like a hit!Just read where Bev is headingfor hospital this morning too.Margy I seen a beautiful moonbut probably will not see whatyou are seeing with Jupiter.
Hi Dana!Do you still have hummers? We do! I was just outside to check and sure enough they are still here this morning! And a BEAUTIFUL morning it is....although supposed to be HOT this afternoon and for the next 2 days.
GOOD MORNING...It is another beautiful morning here in Nestville, 62° and sunny...BUT, going up to 92°.Doesn't sound right for the first day of Fall (tonight). Looks like it will be a good day for traveling...really, really don't like to ride in the rain!Lynn...in my mind's eye, I can see you being pushed and bounced around in a wheelchair over that dirty, gravelly, torn up road at the Hospital and wish I had been there to take a photo. Seriously, I'm sorry all that had to happen♥I'm going to miss the announcement of Baby M. (?) So hope it is a girl. 3 boys and 1 girl, and all so beautiful, another girl would probably make Mama happy:) Remember the two little boys at our June nest visit? What sweeties they were:)Gotta pull myself together now.Have a great week♥
Have a fun and safe trip Wanda and Gene!!Well, I just made another batch of hummer food. Thought I was done with the last batch this past weekend but NOOOO
