RED ALERT: IF AT ALL POSSIBLE WE ARE TRYING TO BREAK OUR CURRENT RECORD OF 1267 comments made on 9/3/06 before Steve remembers to give us a new fresh thread
I hope you enjoy your lunch date, Jo. I don't get together with people from that long ago. I am sure it is fun.
I do have a friend who lives in Maryland I've known since we were 16-year-old college freshmen. We are due for a get-together this summer. She is a retired art teacher.
I know I have to give a chemistry SOL test, and, to tell the truth, I am not sure if it is tomorrow or not. I have the schedule at school, so I can check when I get there.
Once, I had to give a geometry SOL, and that was a bit unnerving. They had so much equipment. The directions said I was supposed to explain the use of a graphing calculator to anyone who did not know what to do with the thing. Right.
Will said he did not think his star pics turned out too well. I haven't tried to photograph a star. He used a tripod and put the camera on the appropriate settings. I have to learn about that.
Judie I sure hope you can get the live feed more with all the suggestions, I have sure been helped in the past with computer problems by many on here. that CCleaner that Jo mentioned, that is nice, easy to use...Jo and Hubby Jo helped me with that.... did it before I shut down this evening in fact
Getting late, time to scram, better say Good Night, and hope that everyone gets a good sleep
Shirley, am going to check out Mars and Rigel....also Jupiter and Crescent Moon before sunrise has been nice. ISS back out in the morning hereabouts...pretty early
Oh wow Shirley...might have just missed you, you are so right, Mars and Rigel, very striking... look straight West, pretty low now towards the horizon, but still visible..some of you may still be able to catch it
Can sure understand why you don't go to bed with the dryer runnning, Shirley!! Very scary. Hope it never happens again. Judie, you've got me chuckling! Just love your humor, gal! Don't ever change! Jo, great minds think alike....again! Our posts were the same at the same time!!
Lily the Black Bear June 6, 2010 (10:04 PM CDT) 11-year-old RC and her 3 cubs just cruised through the field station yard. The cubs vary in size -- but the smallest is Hope's size or perhaps a bit smaller. RC is 9-year-old June's older sister. -- SM
Shirley, sleep well and peacefully. Hope George does the same.
Can't imagine giving SOL tests, or any other type of test, without knowing what to do. Seems the geometry test should be administered by a geometry teacher. JMHO.
Yep, Jo, I had Ice Road Truckers and Army Wives. SHirley, no fair inflating the count with double posting----LOL! Sleep well.....you are up way to late! I can't see anything in the sky now....too many trees with full canopy. Have a good shift, MArgy. Jo, what little town did you grow up in? That sounds like really good English, doesn't it??
Tornado damage in mid-west is terrible. So glad there weren't any touchdowns around here. Such devastation...but what a miracle that it hit before that high school graduation.
What action should we take? Well, Steve has about 1/2 hour before I post a BOLO. That's bad news for him as Boris will be activated to capture Steve in his web. That would not be a pretty sight! Just picture this -- opening up the live cam only to see Steve tussling with Palmer for nestovers.
Whoops---blamed Shirley for Lolly's post. Sorry!! Hey, Lolly, it's OK to be NOT be working all the time!! I spent the whole weekend that way! Well, time for the tub. Thanks, Jo, for that latest tidbit about the bears. Hope everyone rests well. Prayers for all. Andy, if you check in....look at my pics!!! Night all.
Is the record broken? Will my stomach EVER feel better? Will Judie wrap Steve's body in SHEETZ and send it to Canada? Will there been LOONIES in the morning? Tune in tomorrow for AS THE BLOG TURNS
all kidding aside, I sure hope all is OK with Steve....this is a bit odd. Mama Loon is busy snapping at flying bugs, and Spidey has built another lovely web that is wafting in the breeze, but I see Palmer all snuggled in. Going back to bed. Hope everyone has a good night!
Sorry to be MIA! We were really busy this weekend, and have been falling asleep in my chair!
Yesterday we got new tires for the Honda Accord that I drive most of the time. Had to sit and wait at Costco for them to install them. When we got home, watched the birds for a long time. Still have 4 Bullock's Orioles visiting! Met Sis-in-law for lunch yesterday morning, too. She & Bro-in-law are now back from a week at timeshare in Florida.
Today we went out to breakfast, and spent quite a while browsing through some antique shops in downtown Orange. Fun!
Just finished catching up on the blog--wow, where IS our Steve? Hope he's OK.
Lynn and Paula, LOVE your pictures! Great job!
Am so thrilled about little Kayley, and about Hope! Prayers continue for both.
Well, it's late, and gotta get up early tomorrow, so am going to call it a day. The night light is on, the porch light is automatic, and the eye scanner security is enabled. Prayers said for everyone. Sleep tight! Will talk to you tomorrow. God bless, and good night. Love you guys! :o]
On tornadoes--we were living in New Albany, Ohio, at the of the Xenia tornado. It passed right through the New Albany area after devastating Xenia, but, fortunately, did not do as much damage. Did some, though, tore down houses very near ours. We had shingles standing up on the roof and neighbors had damage. All the porch posts fell down on a house two doors down the street. We ran to the basement with our supper dishes in our hands. Would have left the dishes had we known.
We saw the sky turn green. When the worst of it hit, a bucket flew by the back window, and we lit out for the basement.
Parent back briefly. Not sure any new food was brought, but Palmer fussed and grabbed something--maybe the whatever that was already there, but maybe something new. Is tearing into it.
oh what a beautiful MOOOOOORNING! When is my tummy going to feel better???? Loon off the nest for a few, sun glare really bad. Could only see one egg. When she came back, only one egg was rolled....??? Palmer looking lovely this morning atop Mt Nest, surveying her world below.
I have to get my self pulled together and get Puddles to the groomer. She is loosing her Fru Fru hair today and getting an "Outdoor Girl" trim down. Hope everyone had a good morning, BLL
I am already doing typos. Now instead of noe. Did get inside work instead of didn't. You know what is strange. I have spell check at home, but can't get it at school. hummmmmm!
Good morning all. Lolly, everything posted fine...we saw your test! Same thing happened to me and Paula a week or so ago! Weird, huh? Cloudy here again...so far. Lynne, so sorry your tummy is still giving you trouble. Christie was fine by late Sat., so even tho' the first 16 hrs. were bad, the rest was just mostly queasiness and weakness.

Okay, Steve. You've only got about 1 1/2 hours till we take action.
I totally got so excited finding Pook's article that I forgot all about the SPLIT at 1200
Hello Judie!
Hi Jo, thanks for Pook's update on the moose. Wouldn't that be just amazing to have moose in the yard?
Can I have a piece of the action?
Tomorrow is my lunch date with all the gals with whom I grew up. About a dozen or so will show and everyone will tell the news of the small town!
Pook's update is interesting. Thanks, Jo.

We need Margy!
Margy, where are you??
Enjoy the lunch tomorrow, Jo.
Margy should still be sleeping and dreaming of Palmer as she goes to work (I think) at midnight.
Thanks Judie. And don't forget you all mentioned about lunch one of these days when your busyness takes a week off.
What action do you propose we take, Judie?
I'm going to get pj's on and then will
be right back to rack up some more comments if possible.
I do wish I did not have to go to work tomorrow.

Jo, I cannot keep this up on my own!!
I would think that Steve is sound asleep now, and would not even think about a new thread before sometime tomorrow.
I mean we were 18-year-old college freshmen. (Awhile back!)
Drinking tea and listening to the dryer run here. Palmer is sleeping peacefully.
OK I'm hungry.
I had that tomato thing at the Clarion at last year's Spring nest visit dinner...quite yummy
Paula the pictures and video are great!
sure wish I had a grill...will have to "settle for" steamed asparagus, oh poor me
Sounds like a rockin' evening, so Palmer hopped out of cam range did she?
Yea, Margy. We are trying to accumulate more than 1267 comments to break an all-time record.
We need you.
I can't hold on much longer here. Must go to work tomorrow.
I saw Palmer go up so high that she was out of sight, or at least almost out of sight. I saw feet, but they may have disappeared for a moment.
Judie

Steamed asparagus is quite delicious.
They are right next to each other, Margy. One red and the other blue. Very striking.
thanks Shirley old gabby magpie would add to those numbers if she did not have to go to work, but there's always the morning ☺
I do not think Steve will be doing anything about a new thread before sometime tomorrow.
Have a good night at work, Margy.
I am going to have to call it quits for the evening. I am about to fall asleep, and tomorrow will start early.
Good night.
The California folks may be on here soon.
I will have to learn about CCCleaner or whatever it is.
Oh wow Shirley...might have just missed you, you are so right, Mars and Rigel, very striking...
look straight West, pretty low now towards the horizon, but still visible..some of you may still be able to catch it
okay bye xo
But will have to learn later. Good night!
Glad you found it, Margy.
I'm back but like you Shirley Not For Long! It is a Margy says - there is the morning crew!
Get yourself to bed, Shirley
George is probably looking for you!
George is on the arm of the chair, inches from me. I think he is wondering what I think I am doing.
See you tomorrow, Jo.
Night Shirley
Have a good shift, Margy
Can sure understand why you don't go to bed with the dryer runnning, Shirley!! Very scary. Hope it never happens again.
Judie, you've got me chuckling! Just love your humor, gal! Don't ever change!
Jo, great minds think alike....again! Our posts were the same at the same time!!
Did we split again???? My, oh, my!!
Hedgie, did you have any tv to watch this evening - I didn't
Good to see that Pook is getting activity already!
Didn't see any of the Bluefield/Bedford gals on FB this evening. Guess they all wound it up at the beach.
Thanks Lolly for the 2 for 1 posts!
I hope you feel peppy tomorrow.
Yes, I moved Pook's moose cam up the list of my favs so I remember to check more often.
Just saw this comment on FB

Goodnight and pleasant dreams.
Hope GG is ok and that Wanda comes in to say good night.
Good Night Judie and Thanks for the comment. At least I wouldn't think that Shirley would grade that test.
Count down time 7 to go and then I am in my bed!
Yep, Jo, I had Ice Road Truckers and Army Wives.
SHirley, no fair inflating the count with double posting----LOL! Sleep well.....you are up way to late!

Well, if the blogger is counting correctly, we WILL break the record shortly!
Hi Jo, yes, lunch sometime this summer.
Sorry - I mean it is now 7 to go
Who's there - WOW! Thanks.
Margy, hope you have a quiet night and all the bad guys are off the streets and sound asleep.
I cringe every time I end my sentences with a preposition! You must feel the same.

Don't know where Andy is tonight. Hope she will set the alarm when she comes in.
Need to turn my light off but will leave the night light on for others.
If I wake up during the wee hours, will check in again.

You all did it! Record Broken!
I can go to bed now!
Palmer is awake! Hope he settles down!

all kidding aside, I sure hope all is OK with Steve....this is a bit odd.
Mama Loon is busy snapping at flying bugs, and Spidey has built another lovely web that is wafting in the breeze, but I see Palmer all snuggled in.
Going back to bed. Hope everyone has a good night!
Yes, if Steve comes up missing, we will know where to find him. Probably in Judie's washer in Minn.

Good morning!
I see that you have been busy overnight. I am having morning coffee. Soon will be off to work. I see Palmer sitting at noon in the nest this morning.
Parent just arrived, but I see no food.
Parent gone.
Oh, there is food, and Palmer mantled it. Not a fish.
Palmer is eating.

Very calm at the nest this morning. No wind.
Whatever Palmer had for breakfast this morning did not amount to much.
Parent back briefly. Not sure any new food was brought, but Palmer fussed and grabbed something--maybe the whatever that was already there, but maybe something new. Is tearing into it.
Mom on nest in loonyland. It is actually light there already.
Palmer is munching away. It must be something new. I was headed to loonyland when the parent came in, so I did not see what was delivered.
Must go!
BBL
Congratulations to all you record breakers
Hope this will be a great week for Palmer as she prepares to fledge on June 12 ☺
Best wishes for a good day, I think it is Monday
Palmer looks mighty frisky this morning, hope the rest of us have that kind of energy
xo Good Night, Good Morning

I see our Palmer is standing at the launch pad!
Good Morning all! I"m at work. Sun is out, nice blue skys.
Congratulations, on breaking the record. I hope Steve is okay.
Palmer was just flapping a bit. Noe she is resting.
Because of the weather, I didn't get any outside work done this weekend. I didn't get some indoor work done.
I am already doing typos. Now instead of noe. Did get inside work instead of didn't. You know what is strange. I have spell check at home, but can't get it at school. hummmmmm!
Good morning all.
