Weather map shows a storm heading our way.

stronghunter said...

Susan got a little weary of her, especially when she decided to take Kathryn's basset Luna for a walk and let her get into the lake. A neighbor had to come to Luna's rescue.

Tornado warning here!!

No signs of anything that bad, but I may disappear suddenly. George is nearby. Guess we should get his carrier.

stronghunter said...

Sent Will to get the cat carrier from the garage. George likes to pee in the basement. If I have to go down there, he needs to be under control for several reasons.

BEagle said...

We have 75 degrees. The nest has 74.

hedgie said...

Idiots next door are driving me crazy. Baby is one year old. They replaced old trampoline that broke under weight of the snow this winter last month. Yesterday they put up a portable basketball hoop out front. Today they just brought in a complete swingset. One of these days when no one is home, I'm going to get a pic of what that yard looks like so y'all can understand my angst.

stronghunter said...

Basset hounds are not swimmers. I have read that you should have a life jacket on your basset hound whenever the dog is near water.

Lolly said...

Funny! Was looking at the Loon cam, can hear what sounds like a xylophone being played every once in a while.

stronghunter said...

Channel 9 has weather on now.

stronghunter said...

Looks like the worst of the weather is just north of here--Stafford County.

stronghunter said...

About to cross I-95 area.

hedgie said...

Hey, we split AGAIN!!!! Over 1000. Wild.

stronghunter said...

Getting darker and windy.

Lolly said...

Just left the loon cam. So windy there and very noisy!

hedgie said...

Tornado watch has been in effect since noon and goes until 10 tonight. Hope your upgrade to a warning is over quickly, Shirley. Yeah, carrier for Geo would be good.
Oh, poor Luna. Bet bassetts don't swim too well.

magpie said...

Quintuple Split I see.
This could be a record
Possible that Steve might be busy with a family graduation...

Good to see Palmer, you nest visitors are really going to enjoy your visit next week...

stronghunter said...

Sassafras jumped out of a boat once, and Rus had to rescue her. No, bassets do not swim.

magpie said...

I had a last minute opportunity to get the Royal Nest today
met Paula at market, she had asked to have both our names put on the Security List in case I could make it today since I cannot go next Saturday...it worked out...

Paula got some great pictures and some video of that wing-flapping

hedgie said...

Gee, Stafford Co. has been getting the worst of bad weather for a couple of years, Shirley. Friend of Carolyn's was living down there until last fall, and he said it had been bad last spring/summer.

Mema Jo said...

Glad I found you.......

stronghunter said...

Only Channel 9 seems to be carrying the storm news.

hedgie said...

Ch.9 is the only station covering the weather live. They are saying this is their job...if warnings are up, they will go on air. I say, good for them! But then I'm a weather nut and news freak. Know it irritates some people.

stronghunter said...

Wind picking up. George is in the carrier because I thought he might be about to go somewhere.

stronghunter said...

Yeah, they are missing the golf game, but I appreciate it.

stronghunter said...

Stafford County is not that far away. We lived there for years.

magpie said...

Belle was perched in a branch above the nest almost the entire time, left once to perch atop a tree a little ways off, still in sight of the nest of course...
a trustworthy and attentive sentinel
did not see Liberty
but saw a turtle, green heron, Baltimore Orioles, Blue Birds, one hawk, and some other birds

Mema Jo said...

Wow! Margy and Paula off and about without any warning or must have been preplanned! Good for you gals.
Hope to see videos & pics of Paula's soon.

magpie said...

The weather was actually, pretty perfect at the nest, had some rain, not too much
we saw most of that action you all did, were there from about 11:15 to a little after 2 pm

As Mits said, it is necessary for the eaglet to feel that wind all around her wings,
her colors are truly spectacular

I wish I could be there with everyone next Saturday...the nest and nest tree look spectacular, but what's IN that tree is the best

Megan had lots of wonderful things at her stand....I got some more Megan plants and a few from others also

ttfn
hope the weather is not a problem as it sounds like it could be
xo

stronghunter said...

How exciting, Margy. I envy you. Palmer might not wait until next weekend.

hedgie said...

Oh, boy, Margy and Paula....glad you skinny ladies didn't get blown away!! Can't wait to see pics/videos!!! I didn't hear any horn honking!!!

stronghunter said...

Poor George. I can probably let him out in a few minutes. The warning has been changed to a watch. That's good news.

PA Nana said...

we did it again! More tha n 1000 posts. Congrats to all responsible.

I've been on the sideline watching some tv and hwen I hear Palmer, I can bring up the cam immediately.

Some play by plays were a bit nerve wracking, but all is well I see. Palmer is certainly lively.

Is anyone watching the H-burg falcons? When I checked in I earlier this afternoon couldn't find any of them. Wondering if the youngsters fledged. They lookedd ready this week.

See the sun is out again at the nest. We're under a severe storms & possible tornado watch. Never saw a tornado and don't want to.
My limited experience with a hurricane was enough for me!

magpie said...

well, even still Shirley, she should be around the nest

sometimes it's hard to predict how things will be
AND, these parents are long-term residents...with strong nesting activity

I am grateful for this opportunity
and thank you Paula for the arrangement

stronghunter said...

George is now free.

magpie said...

Yes, pretty much last minute, Jo,
my schedule and other things have been a real wreck lately...
long story, will spare you the details....
(( hugs ♥ ))

Lolly said...

Yeah, why did we not hear any laughter and horn honking?

Well, I am just bent out of shape! First Dana goes to the nest, then Paula and Margy, and next weekend a whole bunch. Well, poohie!!!! ☺

Lolly said...

I think it is time for a panda nap. I do not nap, but I am feeling sleepy right now!

stronghunter said...

Very fortunate that the graduation ceremony was not taking place in the high school in Ohio when the tornado hit there. The school was badly damaged.

Windy at the nest again.

stronghunter said...

Yes, Margy, I agree, Belle should be near the nest.

Mema Jo said...

Taking a break also....... no, not a nap this time. lol

NatureNut said...

We had a short rain, still gray, but still and 77!!! Whooppee!
Lynn, yes I could hear the race back here. Cleared pretty well in Pocono, and someone has actually changed the channel!!! Heard some news of tornado watch whole East Coast!!Severe thunderstorms only South of DC, but conditions elsewhere could lead to tornados.
Batten down the hatches & PALMER!!!

paula eagleholic said...

Whoa! 1040 in comments!

BrreeZE has really picked up!

stronghunter said...

All of that playground equipment is for a one-year-old, Lynn. Wow!

stronghunter said...

Keep an eye on the weather, Paula.

paula eagleholic said...

LOL, leave the nest and the sun comes Out! Which is OK, cause it's much easier to watch when it's cloudy!

Thanks, Margy, had a nice time. Glad you could make it, since you are working next Saturday!

I had to go see her...not sure she's gonna last till Saturday, although she might.

I didn't know Dana went to the nest, when was that?

Gotta go throw the ball for the dogs, they've been in the house all day.

BBIALW

BEagle said...

Phoenix swallowed a pretty big bone.
Can they digest those things?

paula eagleholic said...

I heard about the tornado warning. Bright blue sky and sunny here now, and breezy.

hedgie said...

Yeah, Shirley.....except I think that there may be two older kids from possibly a former relationship/marriage who come to visit occassionally..but they look too big for a swing set. B-ball and trampoline makes sense for them. Swing set makes no sense for a 1 y.o. She already has a little bucket swing hanging under the new deck.

stronghunter said...

BBL

stronghunter said...

Maybe the parents want to play on the equipment, Lynn.

paula eagleholic said...

I love to swing!

paula eagleholic said...

Oh, and as Margy said, Palmer's coloring is really pretty!

there she is, flapping in the breeze!

BEagle said...

I never had a swing set when I was little. I always wanted one. But how much I would have swinged (swung? swang?)on it? Probably not much.

I need an English lesson or two.

paula eagleholic said...

Oh, and I got to see a poop shoot!

Mema Jo said...

I'm back - Palmer still in the nest and no little loonies.

magpie said...

my parents were always so twitchy about the swingset "jumping" - in those days they were not set in concrete so someone had to just stand and hold down the swingset

the launch pad, at 5 pm - the nest-goers will see next week what a perfect set up that is: straight out into the freedom of the countryside

need to find a bath and some sleep before worktime tonight

Best wishes for a good evening...
Palmer sure seems to be enjoying it!

magpie said...

and I was looking the other way :(
(for that poop shoot)

needed about four sets of eyes to watch everything there

thanks again Paula

BEagle said...

That wind and sunshine must be doing a good job of airing out the nest and all those pretty feathers.

BEagle said...

So you all got to see Palmer for real? How close do you get?

hedgie said...

Live feed froze up at 2:30 hrs. That's not good after yesterdays and this mornings good runs.

Mema Jo said...

My live feed is at 2:08:44

Hope it keeps going.......

paula eagleholic said...

BEagle, about 200-300 feet away.

paula eagleholic said...

OH, and saw Megan at Market, bought some flowers...and some eggs, asparagus, tomatoes and cookies! I don't know where Margy is going to put all the plants she bought!

Megan is doing fine, busy as usual!

paula eagleholic said...

The Baltimore orioles were too quick for pictures!

BEagle said...

My live feed is 2:08

Did you have binoculars? I am trying to figure out how far 200 foot is.

Did you hear her peeping?

Mema Jo said...

Live feed at

2:42:45

Headed out for awhile..... BBL

hedgie said...

The way the light is hitting the nest right now lets the depth of the bowl show well---it's still pretty cupped out.

hedgie said...

Of course, Palmer is too big to really settle in to it.

Judie said...

Still no live cam. Tried IE, Google, reinstalled Adobe Flash. No luck. Grrrrrr!!!
Really annoying.

Margy, glad you and Paula had a nice nest visit today.

Shirley, happy George has been reprieved.

paula eagleholic said...

BEagle, binoculars is best to view the nest....and yes, could hear peeping...I taped the flapping and peeping, but I don't think you can hear the peeping.

paula eagleholic said...

Loading pics now, then just have to add comments...should be ready shortly.

paula eagleholic said...

Beagle, about 2/3 to a whole length of a football field, is 200-300 ft.

stronghunter said...

Judie, I have to keep refreshing every time I log into the cam. Sometimes repeatedly. I see the pale screen you are talking about. Eventually I get a turning arrow, then a picture. I keep worrying that I will not be able to get anything.

stronghunter said...

I have been in the basement with cats and a dog before. They get really upset and want to go back upstairs. Sassafras was especially upset about spending time in the basement.

Judie said...

I've waited up to 5 minutes but no turning arrow. Had that yesterday a few times. Now nothing but a pale screen. Alas, woe is me. Well, at least I can read the action as you all report it.

stronghunter said...

That is why I wanted to put George in the carrier. I would like to have a carrier like George's to crawl into in case of a tornado, but wouldn't want to have someone carrying me around!

stronghunter said...

It just not make sense, Judie. Are you going to the nest visit event?

stronghunter said...

does not make sense

BEagle said...

Judie, I am not sure this would work even though it worked for Shirley.

Try this cut and paste.

http://outdoorchannel.com/Conservation/EagleCam.aspx

Judie said...

Well, this is truly strange. I posted my last comment, opened up the live cam, and no pale screen, no turning arrow, Palmer nestled all down in the nest. Afraid to turn it off, now. Thanks for the help BEagle. Just really strange. Going to gaze a Palmer some more. BBL

BEagle said...

One time I had to delete my bookmark and redo it before a cam would come up. Not the NCTC one.

It's just a gander.

BEagle said...

You should be ok now. Your computer may be slow picking up the new Outdoor thingy.

: ) I am glad you can watch pretty Palmer even though she has smashed herself flat to the nest.

She must need a break from resisting the windy day.

Unknown said...

Well, my cam was down for a few minutes, couldn't get back on....

Had to restart the picture reload...

Unknown said...

As soon as that is done, going to sit outside with a cold beverage! Maybe before!

Unknown said...

It is the cocktail hour, afterall!

Unknown said...

Hmmm, interesting....google and picasa are connected, and I had to sign back up with picasa under another name to get the pics up, cause I ran out of space and didn't want to buy space, so now my login here is different!

hedgie said...

The more I look at this poor squirrels nest.....I can tell now that the bottom fell out. She was trying to refill with the new leaves and they just fall through. Looks like there might be a small limb under the debris that may have broken off so it may have been the bottom support.

Unknown said...

well, that wasn't the issue, wouldn't load 2 videos..

hedgie said...

LOL!!! The xylophone sound on the Loon cam is an AD for Energizer batteries!!!!

stronghunter said...

Yay, Judie can see Palmer!

I have been off looking at Google Earth.

Now, I need to fix some supper.

hedgie said...

It's happening on Hornby, too. Here's what one poster said to do when folks were complaining: Actually, at the top left of your browser, under "File" you should see "Work Offline" and clicking that should stop the ads temporarily.

hedgie said...

Just tried it and it shut the ad down...we'll see how long it lasts!

Judie said...

*%^#^@#*&^%#@!!!! GONE! GONE! GONE! I am really getting annoyed now. Tried the link BEagle sent, no luck there either. Oh well, at least I got a glimpse for a few minutes.

hedgie said...

Ha---wouldn't let me post that until I click to turn it back to work online! So much for that.

hedgie said...

Oh, Judie, so sorry you are having trouble. Believe me, I know what it's like. A lot of us have trouble.....I feel very lucky that it's done so well the last two days!

stronghunter said...

Oh dear, sorry, Judie!

I know what Judie means about being afraid to turn the cam off for fear it won't come back. I have such a struggle getting it to come on, I worry that it could go at any time.

Steaming some shrimp. I have been watching all of the news stories about seafood shortages, etc., because of the oil in the Gulf, and I happen to have a big bag of frozen shrimp. Got really hungry for them.

stronghunter said...

Palmer is still flat in the nest.

Unknown said...

OK, here are the pics from today, plus a couple of short video clips in there....will work on a better video this evening, the largest wouldn't upload.

Time for a beverage.

oh, and click on slideshow.

NCTC pics

Lolly said...

Great pictures, Paula. Felt like I was there! Beautiful picture of Belle and I LOL of the picture of when Palmer is laying low. Thanks!

Did not see the videos. Will go back and look.

Lolly said...

Okay, saw the videos. Great! Again, thanks!

Unknown said...

The video clips are mixed in with the pics, they should come up automatically...I think one video won't.

Oh and we saw cardinals today, too.

stronghunter said...

Great pictures and outstanding video, Paula. Thanks for sharing.

Mema Jo said...

Hello All! I have returned to see Palmer still snug in the nest and no
little loonies......

I left my live feed on so I am now at
4:44:04 I don't have ads and when I do bring up the site it starts automatically - I don't need to click on the start button. I am running it on IE

Unknown said...

You're welcome! :)

Palmer is taking a snooze!

ZZZZZZZZZZZ

Mema Jo said...

okay now to look at Paula's blog

stronghunter said...

Looks like Palmer just fell over and went to sleep.

stronghunter said...

How do we access Paula's blog? It seems to be gone.

paula eagleholic said...

JO, pics at 7:10 post, under Paula

paula eagleholic said...

No avatar on the 7:10 post!

stronghunter said...

Her avatar is gone, too.

hedgie said...

Paula, pics and videos are great!!! I would say that probably is turtle poo, if the water turtles are substantially bigger than a box turtle!!!

stronghunter said...

Okay, the avatar is back.

paula eagleholic said...

It should be back now, I was signed in different. Will put the slideshow on the EM blog.

BEagle said...

My cam is at 4:34. They must be working more on it.

I have a feeling they won't leave the stream on for long simply because of the traffic.

Judie, sorry. Can you at least get the still cam?

hedgie said...

I didn't have any trouble with Paula's link or with her blog---just click on her name and it takes you to her page.

stronghunter said...

Wingersizing.

stronghunter said...

Yeah, it is back now. Was gone.

BEagle said...

The pics are beautiful Paula, thank you.

Palmer is flapping. Blog is slow.
My car is washed and clean now.

Palmer is having a heyday!

stronghunter said...

Got tangles in sticks. Is she free yet?

hedgie said...

Beagle, you mean your cam stopped after 4 hrs. 34 mins.? That's what happened to mine earlier after 2 h rs. 34 mins.

Mema Jo said...

Paula I thought you were probably getting a new avatar like maybe from today's pics. They are awesome as is the video. Love seeing Palmer's feet up when she goes airborne.....

stronghunter said...

Tangled. Nope not free.

hedgie said...

I put some potato peelings out to see if Myrtle might eat them....so far, no sign of her.

stronghunter said...

Now she is free. Those sticks are hazardous.

paula eagleholic said...

Still has a small one in her left talon

paula eagleholic said...

Aha, she's free

paula eagleholic said...

See what happens when you don't clean up your nest!

stronghunter said...

Whooo! Palmer went above the cam range.

paula eagleholic said...

She is really feeling those wings today!

BEagle said...

Paula, what happened to eagleholic?

Mema Jo said...

I don't like conflicting comments... You would think the old blogger cop could post one and then the other...

Anyway I forgot not what I said....

BUT it printed anyhow..... duhhhhhhh

paula eagleholic said...

Above the cam again.

stronghunter said...

I really need to go take care of some things, but I am afraid I might miss something . . . like a fledge.

paula eagleholic said...

Oh, I thought the pics weren't loading to Picasa, so signed in there under something else, and it updated the blog here...they are related...picasa and blogger.

BEagle said...

Okay. I understand about the eagleholic.

My cam is still running.

Oh, all this excitement!!!
I missed seeing Palmer go out of range. Nutty putty.

paula eagleholic said...

Stopped and got a steak to go with the asapargus from the market....the guy suggested grilling it, so I'm gonna try it, will let you know how it turns out!

Judie said...

Paula, thank you for the nest pictures. Beauteous.

No live cam for me!

Oh well, off to fix dinner as Darth will return soon. Also having shrimp, Shirley. Sauteed with olive oil, garlic, a few red pepper flakes. Cole slaw for Darth and tomato salad for me.

Will try the live cam later tonight.

BEagle said...

What is a tomato salad?

BEagle said...

I hear roasted asparagus is excellent.

paula eagleholic said...

Judy, clear your history and cache, perhaps.

Yea, what's a tomato salad?

paula eagleholic said...

He said grill it with a little bit of olive oil, pepper and garlic.

BEagle said...

Of course, potato peelings fried in butter with salt and pepper is delicious too. Not a dietary item for me any more.

paula eagleholic said...

The wind is finally starting to die down some...

BEagle said...

I got hungry so I made scrambled eggs with melted pepper jack with salsa on the side.

paula eagleholic said...

Ahhh, sounds good. Never thought of doing that!

BEagle said...

Palmer has settled a bit. She looked exhilarated flapping in the winds.

hedgie said...

Paula, you may have my share of the green stuff! But I'll take some of your steak! Not knowing what the heck the weather was going to do, I didn;t take any out of the freezer. Settled for some fried taters.....and I'm already hungry again. But I did make a special breakfast today----Eggs Benedict. It sure was yummy. But your eggs sound good, too, BEagle. I often scramble with cheese; you can pretend you had a western omelet without all the work!

Judie said...

Well, how crazy is this. I clicked on play rapid fire many, many times and finally got the live feed. See Palmer at the noonish edge.

No, Shirley, I won't make the nest visit but am wishing everyone a lovely day and a great time and a view of Palmer.

Oh, I think someone commented earlier (maybe a few hundred comments ago) about PixPa. Saw a doe last night at what I think is a salt lick.

Check in on Snowman about once a day. Sunflower outfit. Wonder how that man's case is progressing? Still hoping the prosecutor drops the charge. So incredibly stupid and a real waste of taxpayer money in MHO.

BBL

Judie said...

Oh, Steve only has until midnight before I put out a BOLO. May have to set up a feeding station to lure him back. Wonder what kind of food we should offer? Hoping he's just off having a good time.

BEagle said...

My steaks are on hold also.

paula eagleholic said...

Palmer is plotzed in the bowl.

The grilled asparagus is good! I like the thicker pieces best.

Palmer back up, LOL

BEagle said...

The OR nest cam still see Lady O frequently. She does some nestorating. They don't see Cascade as much.
No doubt, he is around close though.

Judie said...

Well, a tomato salad for me is made of tomatoes (duh) with some shredded mozzarella cheese and Good Seasons Italian dressing. Easy and not too much. In summer, I add some fresh basil leaves. Sort of like the Caprese salad at the hotel in Shepherdstown (Clarington?)

Grilled asparagus are very good. Rub with olive oil and sprinkle with a little salt. Yummy. Same is good technique using yellow squash sprinkled with herb of choice.

Okay, how do I clear history and cache? Remember, I'm technology challenged.

Costume Lady said...

Hello...
I love Judie's suggestion to put a feeding station out for STEVE;)
He looks like a steak and potatoes man. We could set it near the sycamore tree, but Lib would probably snatch it up and give it to Palmer.
Steve must be in Maine again...forgot his automatic clicker.

hedgie said...

Attention any and all local veterans: don't get sick or injured until 7am tomorrow--local VA ER is not taking any patients until then due to inadequate staffing. Can you imagine???? What if all hospitals did that???

hedgie said...

Judie, original charges against PIX PA guy were thrown out by the judge. Prosecutir was thinking of trying again, but never heard any more.......ridiculous! Why not use resources for real crime?!

Costume Lady said...

Close, Judie, but no cigar! CLARION

We love grilled veggies from the garden. Squash, tomatoes, onions, peppers. Gene marinates them in a sauce that he concocted then grills them. So good:)

Costume Lady said...

I thought the criminal who was feeding the wildlife was in Michigan? Or was that Pix Pa, also?
STOOPID!

BEagle said...

Judie, how do you make a tomato salad?

Grilled asparagus, tomato salad, and steak. Better get the grill ready.

Costume Lady said...

I need to clear out cookies and such, also, Judie...hope someone reminds us how?

hedgie said...

Judie, Clarion...don't you start with forgetting the name, too. Bob is the master at that!!!

I don't know about clearing the cache, but for history and cookies, click on Tools, select Internet Options, click delete under Browsing history, and on next screen make sure that only Temporary Internet Files, Cookies and Browsing History are checked. Also, if it isn't already checked, check on Save Passwords. Then click Delete, and then OK after it's done.

hedgie said...

Oh-ho, Wanda, you may be right!! The one I was talking about WAS MI. But maybe PIX got in trouble, too! Judie??? Are we confused?

Love tomato salads...BEagle, scroll up: Judie gave her recipe!

hedgie said...

Excuse my typo---prosecutor!

Wanda, how's GG today?

BEagle said...

Oh, I just noticed the tomato salad recipe. Sorry. There must have been a hundred posts.

This thread is a record breaker?

BEagle said...

At the top of the window you can see history. Pull it down, right click on a day and it will give you a "delete" option.

BEagle said...

My tomato salad is simply tomatoes and avocado. A little sea salt.
The tomato juice dresses it.

Sometimes cheese like grated Parmesan.

paula eagleholic said...

Tomato salad sounds good.

Love veggies on the grill, just never tried asparagus! A touch of salt would be good as well on it.

paula eagleholic said...

Nope, haven't broken the thread posting record yet!

stronghunter said...

Just got back from the store. I see Palmer is still in the nest.

Yeah, Judie, sounds like what I do to get the cam to work. I find that clicking on the refresh button works too. Lots of clicks. Yes.

I think I saw Boris heading up the tree. Or maybe it was some kind of insect.

Funny thing, I thought I had lost my cosmetic bag with some necessary items in it. So, I bought another bag and some things--wipes, sanitizer, etc. Of course, when I got in the car, there was the old bag. Now I have a backup.

stronghunter said...

So, maybe Steve is at the bear den with the old washer and dryer and the famous Christmas garland.

stronghunter said...

We have to be close to the old record, Paula. I seem to remember you said 1,200 or something like that.

paula eagleholic said...

1267...we might just surpass it!

BEagle said...

First Knight is on. Sean Connery.
Oooohhhh.

Early morning coming quickly for me.
Need to get ready for it.

Good night. God bless you and yours.

God loves you.

Mema Jo said...

I am so glad I have already eaten - you all sure do cook up some good eatings.

Every evening when all my programs have been closed I use the
CCleaner You can download it for free at
http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

You click to Analyze and then click to Run Cleaner.

stronghunter said...

When was the record set, Paula?

I do hope Steve is okay. I will feel bad if something bad happened to him and I am making jokes.

BEagle said...

Shirley..I am laughing and trying to eat popcorn. You can say the funniest things.

Good night again.

stronghunter said...

The food does sound good, doesn't it, Jo? I ate plenty for supper, though. Filled up on shrimp and veggies.

stronghunter said...

Lord, BEagle, don't choke on the popcorn. That would send me on a guilt trip, too.

paula eagleholic said...

Sept 3, 2006, Shirley!

Mema Jo said...

The loon was partially up off the eggs
I guess rolling it.. I could see the one egg and was so hoping there was going to be a little one, but adult just flopped back down and waddled on them. I really got excited thinking I was going to see a little loony!!

stronghunter said...

So the record has held awhile. That was pretty early in the history of this blog, if I remember correctly.

stronghunter said...

I will be sad if we do not have any baby loons, but it seems that it may be that way.

stronghunter said...

Palmer looks like she is sleeping.

hedgie said...

BEagle, Shirley is taking up where Judie leaves off in the fun dept.!!

stronghunter said...

She is entertaining, isn't she, Lynn?

stronghunter said...

Lynn, I am wondering why your neighbors would leave a trampoline sitting out in all that snow. I would expect it to collapse. Aren't those things pretty expensive? I do not like them because I think they are dangerous.

Strange shadow to the left of the nest makes it look like a demon or something is lurking there. Palmer does not look worried. I think she wore herself out today.

stronghunter said...

Andy should pop on soon. And maybe Jim.

Mema Jo said...

Latest update on Hope

hedgie said...

Hope update:

Hope

stronghunter said...

Thanks, Jo and Lynn. That update is very new. I had just looked and it wasn't there. Very informative.

Mema Jo said...

Shirley if I have FB up I can spot the update very quickly.

stronghunter said...

That's convenient, Jo.

stronghunter said...

Need to put some things in the dryer. I have been lazy this weekend. It has been enjoyable.

stronghunter said...

I have to admit, I don't spent too much time on FB.

Mema Jo said...

Shirley - I mainly go in once a day and check up on all my peeps (family)

Judie said...

Well, Clarion it is. Please remember I am challenged and be merciful.

Yep, I think steak and potatoes might do to get Steve out of hiding up in a tree somewhere out in the land where bears hide a deceased washing machine disguised by a shiny garland.

But...maybe Steve is hiding underneath the Sycamore Palace and that's why Boris is scampering higher up the tree. No doubt afeared that he will be captured for environmental experiments.

Yes, I plead halfsheimer's. I meant Snowman cam regarding the legal issue. My bad and sorry.

Lynn, I think leaving the trampoline out is a good sign. Maybe your neighbors will jump and jump and jump clean away from the neighborhood.

Also, thank you for the advice regarding cleaning out the computer. I will try. Thought perhaps I might have needed buy some laxative or something.

Off to check the update on Hope. BBL

Went out stargazing with Will. He wanted to show me Mars and Rigel. He's headed back out to take pictures.
