Germany gals are doing well - still has her Aunt visiting until 31st. Samantha is doing very well in school - 1st grade - and Elizabeth is growing and growing!
It was an indoor pool close by that I was looking for Jo. Like I said McCormick bldg by City Hosp. would have been great. But they put the charge in with all the exercising equipment which I can't use. Won't reduce just for pool even with dr's perscription.

Dana, I have not heard of the term LPN since the 80's, they have been called something else, same job, different title as far as I know, left my volunteer job on the cardiac floor of Suburban when we bought the condo

Wanda that is the boat that has been there all day. It is a rather large boat. At one time it was not as far towards land. You could see it better then.
Back already...junkyard was closed, guess they don't do much business this weekend! Checked the other local ones, they are all closed up for the weekend...glad it can wait!
At least I found something good for dinner while I was out and about...having everyone over for bbq tonight, found some nice looking ribs, yum.

Found some interesting info on the Finney over the water nest area (ie natureit.net nest). It is a shallow area of the Baltic Sea, marked by many small islands.
You can read more about it from the link below....and click on the "nature" link on the left...it lists the plant and animal species....interesting tho, doesn't mention osprey but does the white tailed eagle

WANDA: This is why I sometimes keep such goofy hours...stay up late and get up early my days off so I can sleep before going in.
Slow as Roast is the way I like it at work: some like it rockin'. What I like, is an old abandoned building fire with no harm done, but training for the FireFighters (and the dispatchers) - a medical emergency that can be treated at the scene with no transport, no one has to leave their homes, and some Bites out of Crime by the officers with some friendly miscreants, no pursuits, fights, DUI wrecks...I can find something to do to while away the time...as can the others.
When I eat anything, I have a double paper towel with a little hot water on it, I am THAT BIG of a SLOB. Should just get out a BIB. Remember in the old days when parents would order Lobster at a fancy DC Restaurant, they wore bibs and we ALL had finger bowls.
Well, I hate to leave the fun, gonna check out the Archipelago site, DEB's video once more, and hit the Pillows!

Hey Eagle Buds!! Me and Mattie have had a day all to ourselves at the lake today. It has been great, went down to the beach, went swimming, straightened up the camp. She is a great camping buddy!!
We lost our ballgame last night but it was a great game. We were 2 points behind, on the 1 yard line, 30 seconds left in the game, and tried a quarterback sneak. Our quarterback was not sneaky enough though. We lost but it was really a fun game. Me and Tom bickered back and forth (good naturedly) for the whole game. I love a good close competitive game.

There was most likely some blood in the amniotic fluid.
Mei was artificially inseminated on March 18th two times, they are thinking she just miscarried this time, but will never know for sure, so they are calling it miscarriage/false pregnancy
So this is a natural fertilization, huh? Good for them!!!

Sharon also saw it born - Loretta & I were watching and just all of a sudden there was a cub! Talk about easy labor!
The little cub was squirming all around the place and LunLun was looking at the cub - she took her paw
and like touched the cub - then finally picked it up (I think) with her mouth - her back was towards cam-but then she had it in her paws up against her and was just licking away!
Camera was on, but I didn't see it shoot out. Saw it laying on the "bench" & then she went & picked it up!
You could just see it!
Now she has turned her back to the cam
Every now & then you can see it's back feet & tail.
10:10 was the official time...and I missed it!

Oh wow!! Did anybody see the actual birth, cause I was looking, saw something flesh-colored at her right hand and then she backs up and the little squirmer was doing just that.
Called Sis to inform her of the birth and she is flipping out cause she can't see it! :)

I wasn't watching 100%, but when I did look, that's when I saw it trying to crawl on the bench. I bet they'll show video. Lun may have been just sitting or lying there when it came out.
I took photos of the screen when she was licking it. If I'm lucky, might see a foot or tail!

The cub will be in her arms continuously from what I remember for some time. Lun Lun will not leave for quite some time (days) to get food or drink.
