Helen your quite right pet,, about China,, the people DO come first,,, I always tend to think of the Pandas first,,I know I shouldn't,,sorry,, please forgive,,,,
DON'T Forget please that today is both Su Lin's [ 3rd ] and Zhen Zhen's [ 1st ] birthday's at San Diego Zoo,, hope you can look in and watch the party,,,,
Good morning all my wonderful eagle friends. Been sitting here reading and catching up. I slept until almost 9 o'clock this morning. What a treat. Tom had already fixed his mom breakfast. She was dressed and everything when I got up. She can still dress herself but it is hard. That is something these boys don't want to have to do, is help their mom dress. Dignity thing, ya know?
Pandas are chilling out this morning, I see. Chrissy, I so love reading your blog entries, thanks for the Mei report. Good morning my sister Sher. How's it in Bedford this morning.
I know whay your going through Sharon pet,, I looked after my Father-in-Law till he died,, he was semi-disabled, he could get about with a walking stick,, but he did try and put it on more than he needed to,, I caught him out on many occasions and we did have a laugh over it too,,,, he also liked to play Frank and I against one another at times too,, I would be up and about from 5 in the morning fixing his breakfast, getting him up and washed, dressing him,,sorting out his meds and making sure he took them, then it was household chores,,,,and in the afternoons I would get him into the car for a drive in the countryside or take him to a Garden Centre for lunch,,once even drove all the way to Stratford where there was a Second World War exhibit on for him to visit,,,, and when Frank came home from work, Danny would tell Frank that I hadn't helped him at all that day,,,,,he was ok though,,I loved him to bits,,but you had to know how to handle him,,,,
Right,, going to start the dinner its 3,30.p.m. here and Frank will be up out of bed soon,
Mei is still scratching and Gobbo is eating a smashing ice-lolly, leaning against the wall outside,,, WHAT A LIFE !!!!
Don't forget the double birthdays at San Diego today,,,,,,
Good Sunny Sunday Morning to all of you! No special plans for today - oops! forgot - My oldest daughter may come by! That is special. I misunderstood and thought that yesterday was the b-day celebration for the pandas at the SD zoo. Maybe I will get to see them partying afterall. Finished my emails so I will check out some cams.
Good morning all! SO-O-O good to see you on, Chrissy!! Thanks for all updates. ALERT!!! Tonight, on Travel Channel at 9pm or 1am: "Wild China: Land of the Panda" airing. Should be interesting!!
Checking cams...Sturgis bike fest must be over....most cams not working, and only empty streets showing. Hope Deb (and maybe our biker-chick Norma--LOL) got out safely!!
Well, somehow I managed to miss out on the following info from the Black Stork nest: 7/18: Yesterday before noon, on the birthday of Miss Little, the prior day's birthday boy (Mr. Middle, a.k.a. 7019) got, as is known in scientific circles, "backpacked." Installing the backpacks requires that the bird be completely dry, and it's also quite difficult for a human being to climb up a wet tree trunk! In recent days the weather has changed frequently. Since the camera needed a bit of adjustment, we decided to visit the nest the same day to affix the backpack. Our first impression: success. We have not put backpacks on chicks before, but it's very necessary to know what they do to survive. Where do they spend their first years before they build themselves a nest? And what can we do to reduce the death rate of young birds? About the backpack: The transmitter weights 45 grams and is placed on the back with a harness of teflon ribbon which is frictionless and doesn't decompose. It's important to leave room for growth when fitting the tag, because Mr. Middle isn't yet fully grown. The device records the bird's GPS coordinates every two hours during the day and then transmits them every third day to our Argos server. The backpack is powered by solar batteries, and for that reason the size cannot be tiny—solar panel size is directly related to its power. This sort of device must last some years (as long as the wearer lasts). But our plan is to remove the packs after four years of wear, if the opportunity presents itself. In the beginning, this is only a theory…
Popping in and out today. Tom has mowed and weedeated his mom's grass, I cleaned out the fridge, going to go get some dinner for all. The SD panda cam is so dark, is it always that way?
Isn't Zhen Zhen's party wonderful,,and ooooooooooooooooo I'll just knock my cake over,,mummy will grt a better bite when its on its side,,,,,, mmmmmm not to sure what to do with all this icey stuff,,,MUMMMMMMMMMY help please,, my bite isn't big enough,,, but I know yours is,,,,
Hi Sissy,, No it isn't pet,, but if you look bottome left hand side,, you will see number and letter codes,,,
look next to the"M4",, and you will see " C4 " scroll down a little and you will see codes as to who and where each panda is that will tell you who you are watching pet,,
Bai Yun has something,,can't quite see what though,, ignoring little angel,,,,
SO "I'll climb my tree, instead mummy,,you carry on eating",,,,,
OOOOOOOOO windy up here today,,,, will mummy come and get me down,,,,I'll just dangle upside down and play a while,,,,,Hide and go seek,,CAN YOU SEE ME !!!!
Its my birthday,,and I'll do as I please,,,,,,,,peep hoooo,,,,
Su Lin looks as if she has had a lovely time too,,sitting there chewing on a stalk of bamboo now,,leaving her cake on its side to melt all by itself on the left of the picture,,,,,,, I just can't believe she is 3 today,,time has gone so quickly,,,,,
Good Sunday Afternoon Everyone! Chrissy good to hear from you Across the Pond!! Bet you're into dessert by now! Lovely blue sky day here--not humid! MT nest---boo. The strange mystery bird that flew next to my car yesterday is most likely a juvie black vulture.Strange looking blob of a bird! Doin' stuff inside & out Guess I missed the SD B'day. Maybe they'll post pics. BBL
Chrissy, thanks for running commentary. I just now figured out how you could watch and type at the same time!! Didn't realize that if I kept the cursor over the minimized box, it would keep the pic up!!! Duh!!!
Lynn, I need to pick your brain a little bit. My Mom has been having cramps ever since she had the CT scan on her tummy. Wouldn't you think that would be from the Barium she had to drink? If she still has the cramps tomorrow, I will call her doctor. Got her some Oxyfast...hope that helps!
ON THE STURGIS CAN, when you see the little small pictures along the right side of the screen, click on those and it should open up a larger picture...still looks pretty active there to me...
Hello Everyone...worked overnight so slept during the day, up and moving around some...
HEDGIE: Those little backpacks on the Black Storks, are like the one son the Loch Garten site, Nethy and Deshar - those were what I thought were "stuck sticks" when I first saw them, those little antennae sticking up from their backs...
Hard to believe it doesn't interfere with things, but apparently it does not....SCIENCE!
Bet the merchants in Sturgis do better in one week than they do all year! Wonder where all the porta potties are...haven't seen those in the pics! Woof !
Agreed - those WildWatch Osrpeys are getting hefty! I don't think Lake Washingon Eagles is refreshing, looks the same view for the last 24 hours to me... Ya' know the Finney Nest chicks are fledging, still coming back to the nest, not sure of all three have fledged or just the two older ones.
The Maryland Department of Natural Resources is investigating the drowning Saturday of a 50-year-old man in the Potomac River near Shepherdstown, West Virginia. The Jefferson County sheriff's office says the unidentified man was in an inner tube and his brother was in a boat when the two became separated. The body of the man, who has not been identified, has been taken to Charleston, West Virginia for an autopsy.
The man's body was pulled ashore after he was spotted floating in the river.
MITS - Sad news indeed. I do think the number of drownings up this way is lower than prior years. There was one early this summer, a 6 yoa, in the Shenandoah River somewhere near Harpers Ferry, and we had one drowning - middle-aged female - in a swimming pool in Martinsburg 6 weeks ago...in past years we have had some drownings at Sleepy Creek Lake...
---
Lake Washington Cam says "camera disabled" even though it does bring up a pic...will have to read some more...
Wanda, sorry I just got back on and saw your post. It is definitely possible that the barium solution is to blame. It is very important to drink lots of fluids after the scan, and a lot of elderly people end up needing a mild laxative or a suppository to help clear the barium, which has a tendency to bind. I'm not familiar w/ Oxyfast...what is it? One thing that may help relieve the cramps is to have her lie on her left side, left leg out straight and right leg bent at knee and drawn up toward chest. Definitely call Dr. if no relief by morning.
Sturgis Bike Rally runs all week, though, and there are an awful lot of links on that site....including all the calendar girls and the Winner! Who said Cheesecake? Where's the Beefcake?
Maybe the cams are just going through an update, or they are trying to find a way to charge per visit... xo
Margy, that would be par for the course, wouldn't it? No free lunch! No coverage of SS fire in JOurnal--no big surprise, huh? Article in Herald said $500,000 damage. Whew! Nats won! Haven't seen what the O's did today... Skins preseason game tonight!! Can't wait! I'm the BIGGEST fan!
HEDGIE - You probably saw my post, regarding Southern States...saw lots of scorching around the windows, windows all boarded up with plywood, other than that the bldg looked pretty "normal" from the outside... a darn shame. Someone said a group from Virginia had bought it a year or so ago...
I figure the Sturgis Cams will be straightened out before long, with the rally going on all week, there are bound to be some people complaining about it...
If anyone has a nice view of the Western sky - there is a "newborn" moon out, thin delicate exquisite cresent, just barely visible now, won't be out long, but will be easier to see in about 15 mins when things get darker.
ISS tonight should be visible around 10:17 pm or a little sooner.... from the W N W - 71-degree angle and should be VERY BRIGHT !
Good luck sky watching.. Can't see our eagles, might as well look higher... xo
BIRDS BIRDS WHERE ARE THOSE BIRDS Seeing the MT nest every time I check the cam is very annoying. Guess I have the MT nest syndrome. Today was mainly a family day - weather has been beautiful.
The Nationals donated a portion of ticket proceeds from today's game to the Zoo in support of giant panda research and conservation. The first 10,000 children (ages 12 and younger) at the game will receive a free Panda Webkinz. WISH I HAD GOTTEN A WEBKINZ
Me, too, Jo...I wanna Webkins!!! That was a great gesture on the parts of the Nats. Yes, Loretta....Senators were THE team! Did anyone watch my man Art Monk (and Darrell Green, too) get inducted into the Hall of Fame? Art is a class act! A guy I knew at work was a river fishing guide and he often had Art and John Riggins as customers! Margy, are you going to get a nap in before work??
It's a little tricky and does not always - work the zoom in and zoom out things, and not on all the cam views..but things are sure looking fired up there!
Sturgis cams are fun to work - like you said - Where is Deb? It's hard trying to find a Biker Chic with a camera around her neck! Did she not say she would be back Monday?
I imagine that Norma and Anne Marie will come back as soon as their house guests depart. Hope they are having an enjoyable time! Anne sent email with her new border - Peppe Le Pew
I saw about Nats giving out panda Webkinz, but couldn't find a 12 yr. old! YESSSSSS, Daryl Green & ART MONK!!! I met Art Monk at an annual Back to Bethesda celebration. He was at a car dealership where they had a meet & contest for old cars. We took on of ours & people there talked me into telling him my "Chipmonk Story". I did & he was very gracious.I had accidently whacked one on the road & put it in plastic bag & into the freezer. I wanted our naturalist, Greg, to do his taxidermy magic on it & mount it standing up. I was going to make it a little Redskins jersey w/ Art Monk's number on it!!!!
Also, John Riggins----one of the boat ramps that belongs to the Park is 10 miles further down the road, next to private property that also has a dock. Riggo & his buddies used to use that one. One Saturday when I was babysitting Park ramp, saw Riggo's Redskin p/up truck go by.
Paula, Greg is so busy, he never did it.I don't think it's still in the freezer, but there should be a female pileated that I found in middle of road by my church. I have to keep reminding him. May have to wait til summer's over.
Okay, finally got the cam back up...of course, it is reading 6:55...so maybe it's too dark now for it to be current. Neat, Loretta!!! Cool stories, huh? I have seen Riggo on the road a couple of times up this way...assumed he was heading to Dam 4 area to meet up with the fishing guide. His VA license plate reads RIGGO. And my sis tended bar in Alex. many years ago and Joe Jacoby was a frequent customer. Poor chipmunk and pileated! Did Art like your story?? Will check panda, Wanda...did you see my earlier post to you?
Yes I did Lynn. Thanks for your input. Oxyfast is something the doctor gave Mom for pain when she had a bout with cancer 8 years ago. It works almost instantly.
Wanda, judging by the name then it is probably a codeine derivative preparation, which could contribute to constipation. Is GeeGee doing any better tonight??
Panda Cam - When they have a watch - I think that has something to do with the light being on then off. I remember it once before like that - They were observing Tai & Mei feeding I think. Where's our Panda Expert?
OK I asked when I was at the zoo last time, and the operator didn't know why the light flashes on and off...will ask my contact tomorrow, when he is in the office, Mei is curled up and is looking fine and Tai is eating bamboo
GeeGee is feeling a little better. She managed to eat some Egg-Drop soup and took a dose of her Oxyfast. She had her CT scan Friday...went to dinner Friday evening...had a big supper, and was feeling very happy and chipper when we dropped her off at home. Cramps started Saturday morning and into this afternoon.
Come to think of it, Mom may have a tummy ache from eating too much. Check this our: She had as an appetizer, 3 coconut shrimp, 6 raw oysters, a salad, 1 and a half lb. lobster, baked potatoe, broccoli and 2 mudslides. LOL I have her picture posted on Wanda's Wishes.
Her doctor recommended Miralax as a daily drink because she takes Oxycontin several times a day and that is very binding. The Miralax works very well for her. Until she started using that, she was miserable. Poor thing, she has to go throught so much just to feel a little better. I gave her a dose of Compazine for nausea and that seemed to help. I have her so full of meds, I may have over-dosed her!
POOF! ISS was bright, came up more from the West North West, came straight up through the handle of the big dipper, got directly overhead and disappeared altogether! Guess that's what happens when it gets away from the sun's glare...anyone else see it? Jupiter nice and bright tonight too, if you have a good binocs and a steady hand, you can see at least one maybe two its Moons to the left of it. It's the brightest object in the East, South East...
Blogger cop is at it again...new error message: Conflicting edits! Anyway, as I was trying to say: Sorry that GeeGee is having problems, Wanda. I doubt that you have o/d'd her. I sure thank the good Lord everyday that my mom's health is so good. Whoops, Helen, I had Tian and Tai mixed up! How did we get a reprieve on Tai??? Me, too, jo! Maybe they just have to try the key many times!!!
Margie - I tried again since you gave the time to see it. I need to go to a treeless overlook or somewhere - my deck and my front porch won't do it! I am really glad you have seen it so often!
Nope, Wanda, can't photograph it. My viewing here is rotten too, cause the dusk to dawn light in the parking lot creates a problem. I had not idea until last night and again tonight, that it would disappear JUST LIKE THAT! when it reaches a certain spot in the sky.. the views we saw close to the last full moon didn't seem to do that, so I am sure it is an "angle" thing, since it depends on the sun for its reflected light. ISS will be out again on Aug 4, 5 and 7 - I'll post the times, angles and directions again Monday..
I'm glad there are a few other ?nuts" out there looking, JO...and others.... Hedgie: we could find ourselves a farm field to trespass on! Also: Meteors after midnight next Sunday into Monday morning, the Perseids, are some of the best! Guess where I will be??? At Work !!!
G'night to those checking out... COSTUME LADY: So sorry that your mother is in discomfort...hope it clears up soon. Was she able to see her e-birthday card?
Hope everyone gets good rest tonight...hope no one else besides me has to work tonight...maybe GLO has a night shift?
Take Care, and Prayers, for comfort, wellness, peace, serenity, joy and safety.
Yes she did see her e-card, Margy. Thought it was amazing...it was her very first birthday e-card. You were sooo sweet to sent it to her. She was also pleased with the birthday wishes from the other girls on the blog. Thank you all for making her smile.
I forgot to look at clock for ISS :>(----oh well, more chances. Wanda, I'm amazed GeeGee ate that whole thing!!! The appetizer & salad would have filled me up!It's probably good she has such a keen appetite. Good night to all who are leaving...Pleasant Feather Dreams. Hope you have a quiet night at work Margy ;>)
Loretta, as a rule, my Mom doesn't have much of an appetite. She barely eats during the week, but on Friday nights when we go out to eat, she eats well. I have never seen her eat as much as she did this past Friday! She only weighs 118 lbs.
WOOHOO Sturgis Bike week, starts Aug 4, today :). I was there in 87 during my wild biker days.
I hope everyone is enjoying the last month of summer. Tori is gone with her dad for the week and school is really doing me in, I really dislike this class.
I only got halfway through the posts and will go back to read.
I just got home from Sturgis a little bit ago. I hadn't planned on getting home this late, but it took me awhile to wander my way home. I went to Wounded Knee today for the first time, very sad to see the names of all those killed there.
More tomorrow, I am tired from the trip. I see Robyn has been to Sturgis before. JO, I had trouble remember where my pick-up was!! I have never seen so many motorcycles in my life, and it hadn't officially started while I was there. Every where you looked more bikes!
WELCOME HOME, DEB, WE MISSED YOU....This is the day I usually go to the inlet to watch the boats leave on the 1st day of the WHITE MARLIN OPEN, but instead of the normal gunshot start at 5:00a.m., they have let them leave at 3:30a.m., so the don't have to use as much fuel getting to the canyons, so I'm watching from my balcony, and can see the boats heading out..from the inlet...sky is beautiful, Margy, bet you could tell me all the stars and constellations
Hedpie and Costume Lady you are a number one in my book when you say you are a skins fan!! They sure did send the colts home crying last night. They looked really good and I like the new coach. I'm not sure about lynn being the number one redskin's fan though-we need references to see which one of us that is LOL LOL go skins!!! sorry MITS I'm not sure the ravens are going to be able to cut it this year-what do you think? I'm not even sure if they play each other this year but I'm sure you or your son probably know.
Now that the news about the Redskins is done I can say good morning to my fine eagle buds. I have no picture up anywhere. Hope you all have a fine Monday and see our eagles or juvies!!!

Definitely call Dr. if no relief by morning.
Evening, all!
Worked for a couple hours, came home made bbq chicken before son heads up the road...what a pretty day!
I have absolutely nothing on the Sturgis cams now, except two of them say the file does not exist. Anybody else?
HEDGIE:
I can't get anything on Sturgis right now either...was doing okay earlier on it...
Lynn, It is Sunday the O's lose most Sunday games. They are in Seattle in the 7th. Losing 7 to 3 I think.
HEDGIE - You probably saw my post, regarding Southern States...saw lots of scorching around the windows, windows all boarded up with plywood, other than that the bldg looked pretty "normal" from the outside... a darn shame. Someone said a group from Virginia had bought it a year or so ago...
I figure the Sturgis Cams will be straightened out before long, with the rally going on all week, there are bound to be some people complaining about it...
xo
Sorry Ceil, Helen, Loretta, Jo, Megan and Paula...O's lost their game.
Now that we have Nats, I don't worry about them so much. Boy, I missed the Senators!!!!
If anyone has a nice view of the Western sky - there is a "newborn" moon out, thin delicate exquisite cresent, just barely visible now, won't be out long, but will be easier to see in about 15 mins when things get darker.
ISS tonight should be visible around 10:17 pm or a little sooner.... from the W N W -
71-degree angle and should be VERY BRIGHT !
Good luck sky watching..
Can't see our eagles, might as well look higher...
xo
Nice Blue Bird, Loretta !
I haven't given up on OUR eagles yet tonight though...Wait for it, Wait for it, Wait for it....
xo
BIRDS BIRDS
WHERE ARE THOSE BIRDS
Seeing the MT nest every time I check the cam is very annoying.
I want to see our eaglets too! When was the last time we saw a juvie?
I could go for a webkinz panda too!
Sturgis Bike Cams are working again..
Wow - You can press "2" and it zooms in on the bikes ! Then just move your mouse cursor around to check out what you want...
And you use your keyboard 2 - that seems to work better...
If we knew where DEB was in this crowd, this would be the way to see her up close!
I love Art Monk! Probably my all time favorite Redskin!
I still can't get anything on Sturgis. Will try rebooting computer!
Sturgis is the kind of cam we need at our nest for next year. ZOOM !!!
That is too funny, Nature. Did Greg do it for you?
Also, John Riggins----one of the boat ramps that belongs to the Park is 10 miles further down the road, next to private property that also has a dock. Riggo & his buddies used to use that one. One
Saturday when I was babysitting Park ramp, saw Riggo's Redskin p/up truck go by.
Paula, Greg is so busy, he never did it.I don't think it's still in the freezer, but there should be a female pileated that I found in middle of road by my church. I have to keep reminding him. May have to wait til summer's over.
Is anyone watching Pandacam? I can't make out what is going on. Anyone else?
I see what it is now. The cam is slightly on the fritz (off and on). Mei is on her back, sprawled out as if sunbathing.
It looks to me like Mei Xiang is lying on her back sleeping.
I don't even think it is Mei. #3, whoever that is.
Hi Sharon, glad you are on here. Is that Mei?
It looks like Mei on cam #1 and Tai on cam #2.
Oh, my, Mei!! Are you okay? Are you just hot or are you feeling poorly?? Don't know what to think, Wanda! Hey, Mits....what's up??
It's such an unusual position to see her in...could she be in labor?
Yes I did Lynn. Thanks for your input. Oxyfast is something the doctor gave Mom for pain when she had a bout with cancer 8 years ago. It works almost instantly.
Wanda, judging by the name then it is probably a codeine derivative preparation, which could contribute to constipation. Is GeeGee doing any better tonight??
Panda Cam - When they have a watch - I think that has something to do with the light being on then off. I remember it once before like that - They were observing Tai & Mei feeding I think. Where's our Panda Expert?
Now that looks more like a normal position for bedtime! Don't know why the cam is darkening and lightening.
The cam does that every night, drives me nuts!
OK I asked when I was at the zoo last time, and the operator didn't know why the light flashes on and off...will ask my contact tomorrow, when he is in the office, Mei is curled up and is looking fine and Tai is eating bamboo
Glad your home safely Sharon.
Lots of traffic out there?
forgot about the china program on Travel channel, did get to see some cubs at WoLong
been straightening up condo, and on the phone, and doing laundry
Mema Jo, I haven't gone home yet. Not sure which day yet that I will. I had to work today to make up where I missed last Monday coming home from DC.
Helen, the Panda show replays at 1am...can you tape it?
I'm watching the game, but taping the pandas.
no Lynn, I can't,but may stay up and watch it
Hope she keeps improving, Wanda. If not, do call doc!
Helen, do you want me to tape it for you??
Come to think of it, Mom may have a tummy ache from eating too much. Check this our: She had as an appetizer, 3 coconut shrimp, 6 raw oysters, a salad, 1 and a half lb. lobster, baked potatoe, broccoli and 2 mudslides. LOL I have her picture posted on Wanda's Wishes.
That program just showed the courtship of 2 pandas. Not very romantic.
thanks, Lynn, I will watch it here.....
That's a pretty big appetite when she was still full of barium!!! I bet doc will recommend a good dose of milk of mag!!
ah, yeah, Wanda, maybe some pink medicine might be useful.....:):):)
When will Tian have to be sent to China, Helen?
Well you could have fooled me, Sharon
I think that 'working from home' works out really well when you want to travel.
Mei and Tian's 10 year loan is up in 2010, and Tai should have gone back when he was 2 yrs. old, but will go back when he is 4, next year:(
The Raccoon Rascals are in the woods
Her doctor recommended Miralax as a daily drink because she takes Oxycontin several times a day and that is very binding. The Miralax works very well for her. Until she started using that, she was miserable. Poor thing, she has to go throught so much just to feel a little better. I gave her a dose of Compazine for nausea and that seemed to help. I have her so full of meds, I may have over-dosed her!
So I am wondering how in the world after you park your bike on a Sturgis street - you ever remember where to look for it later!
Especially if they have had a few too many beers!
Margy, can you take photos of what you are looking at?
Blogger cop is at it again...new error message: Conflicting edits!
Anyway, as I was trying to say:
Sorry that GeeGee is having problems, Wanda.
I just have to wait for winter in order to see anything in the sky, Jo! C'est la vie. Or: it is what it is!
ISS will be out again on Aug 4, 5 and 7 - I'll post the times, angles and directions again Monday..
xo
Going to call it a day and sign off
Good Night to all of you
Peace to you & yours
Pleasant dreams and peaceful sleep
Prayers being said for all our needs
MAYBE WE'LL SEE OUR
EAGLES TOMORROW
I'm glad there are a few other ?nuts" out there looking, JO...and others....
Hedgie: we could find ourselves a farm field to trespass on!
Also: Meteors after midnight next Sunday into Monday morning, the Perseids, are some of the best! Guess where I will be??? At Work !!!
Good Night, Jo. Rest well.
G'night to those checking out...
COSTUME LADY: So sorry that your mother is in discomfort...hope it clears up soon.
Was she able to see her e-birthday card?
Hope everyone gets good rest tonight...hope no one else besides me has to work tonight...maybe GLO has a night shift?

xo
Night all,, I'm beat!
Have a quiet shift, Margy.
Good night to all. Hail to the Redskins, hail VICTORY!!!!!!
Peace and prayers to all!
We got special permission from the Chinese to keep him the extra 2 years
GOODNIGHT EVERYONE
Yes she did see her e-card, Margy. Thought it was amazing...it was her very first birthday e-card. You were sooo sweet to sent it to her. She was also pleased with the birthday wishes from the other girls on the blog. Thank you all for making her smile.
Lynn, I am an avid 'Skins fan also. They played well tonight.
GO SKINS!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Night, Helen. Sleep well.
Loretta, as a rule, my Mom doesn't have much of an appetite. She barely eats during the week, but on Friday nights when we go out to eat, she eats well. I have never seen her eat as much as she did this past Friday! She only weighs 118 lbs.
Glad you are a Skins fan too.
I would love to have a stuffed Pileated woodpecker. Hope he isn't freezer burned. LOL
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SLEEP TIGHT
PRAYERS
WOOHOO Sturgis Bike week, starts Aug 4, today :). I was there in 87 during my wild biker days.
I hope everyone is enjoying the last month of summer. Tori is gone with her dad for the week and school is really doing me in, I really dislike this class.
I only got halfway through the posts and will go back to read.
I figured all would be sleeping. I tried to open the cam to our eagles but this new tower is being tempermental.
WELCOME HOME, DEB, WE MISSED YOU....This is the day I usually go to the inlet to watch the boats leave on the 1st day of the WHITE MARLIN OPEN, but instead of the normal gunshot start at 5:00a.m., they have let them leave at 3:30a.m., so the don't have to use as much fuel getting to the canyons, so I'm watching from my balcony, and can see the boats heading out..from the inlet...sky is beautiful, Margy, bet you could tell me all the stars and constellations
also wanted to check on Mei, she is not in the birthing den, not a good sign
Hedpie and Costume Lady you are a number one in my book when you say you are a skins fan!! They sure did send the colts home crying last night. They looked really good and I like the new coach. I'm not sure about lynn being the number one redskin's fan though-we need references to see which one of us that is LOL LOL go skins!!! sorry MITS I'm not sure the ravens are going to be able to cut it this year-what do you think? I'm not even sure if they play each other this year but I'm sure you or your son probably know.
Sent with lots of love!!!!
Now that the news about the Redskins is done I can say good morning to my fine eagle buds. I have no picture up anywhere. Hope you all have a fine Monday and see our eagles or juvies!!!
New thread is up.
