4/20/ The day after our eagles morn

 235am you can hear them again2:15a you will hear Bella or Scout calling out for one another. Sounds so sad.

5:55 am - One of the adults is in the nest tree. From the video last night, and this image, it appears that the short post gave way in the storm.

700 am One adult is perched at the DCT.

708 am Bella has left the DCT (day

738 am Bella is back at the Daycare Tree (DCT). It will not surprise me if Scout brings a fish to the new lower nest.2 days ago

8 am - Scout is back at the nest tree. Voices are heard Randy and Jim must be there.801 am - Scout on the LOP. Randy is below.803 am Scout sees them coming and flies to the DCT. Eagle calls heard. Scout is flying over the area alerting. Bless his heart.

805 am Scout is issuing alert calls; flies back to the DCT after flying around the nest tree and grove. Awww bless his heart.

806 am You can hear Scout issuing sharp short alert calls, he is protecting his babies even in death. So very sad just breaks our heart to him him calling.

808 am Randy is seen walking away from the nest tree carrying a box. He has recovered E10, E11 and Little Bit E12. Scout is perched at the DCT.

826 am Scout returns to the LOP.

842 am Scout eThis broke me all the more this morning. Scout watching below as they recover his precious babies. 🥺

741 am Randy and Jim arrive at the nest.

8 am Scout is perched on the LOP. Scout is watching below and he can see Randy. Scout cries out a few times, still wanting to protect his babies. 803 am Scout sees them coming exits from the LOP and flies to the DCT. Eagle calls heard. Scout is flying over the area alerting. Bless his heart.

805 am Scout is issuing alert calls; flies back to the DCT (daycare tree) after flying around the nest tree and grove. Awww bless his heart.

808 am Randy is seen walking away from the nest tree carrying a box. He has recovered E10, E11 and Little Bit E12 💔💔💔

811 am Scout or Bella is still perched at the DCT.

821 am Randy and Jim leave the grove. Scout is at the DCT.

826 am Scout returns to the LOP, he is looking all around. He knows the babies are gone now. Scout stays put on the LOP until 842 am.

920 am Scout returns to the LOP. Bless his heart.

11:51 Scout left LO 11:22am one of the eagles is on camera 2 sitting above the fallen nest. Is that Scout or Bella?

1220 pm - Scout has been to the LOP several times today. He is staying close to his homeland. There is no doubt he misses his eaglets. 1222 pm - Scout exits from the LOP he flies to the DCT and is still perched there.12:18 Scout returned to LOP

Both were seen in the nest tree early this morning on the field cam, but I have not seen her yet on the streaming cams. The field cam is not streaming.315 pm Adult soaring in the neighborhood. Not sure who it is yet. Hope we see Bella before dark; I am sure we will. Thanks to everyone for sharing here today; it does help to move forward after such a sad loss. I cannot bear to think about it. My heart goes out to all of you our NCTC Eagle Nation, Bella and Scout will help us move forward. It will be a tough day tomorrow for all the kids. While they were removing the bodies underneath the nest Removing the little bodies he was on the lop, saying Goodbye to his babes.They left them there overnight so they could see them.

Walking in the fields to obtain our little ones. That's got to be so hard for them to do I felt sorry for them.

Walking away with the little ones in the box. They left the marriage for the eagles to see when sunrise came. They knew that they saw them the way they were acting. Scowl kept setting on the lop making noise morning Gotta be the hardest walk across that field. I've ever done.

Sitting in the babysitting tree 

So sorry that everything has late. But I was on a 5 day camping trip with my daughter. Son-in-law and only granddaughter .

I was so sad. So sad that I didn't get more video or pictures of him on their last days you never know.
