I have returned from my visit with Dracula - all is well
Roads pretty good shape but at times only one lane.. the drifts prevent turns to be made safely onto other roads.

Stay safe if venturing out!

Good Afternoon Eagle Buds!!!

Oh, JO, just what you needed, another "C" word in your life. You are so loved by this group and I'm sure you realize our prayers will be fervent and frequent!

SANDI, sorry you're on the puny list today and glad you opted for a day off---especially when we all know how much you hate to miss a school day!☺

Again, much thanks for all the birthday wishes. The celebration finale was Taco's at Julie's last night. Once home I took even more phone calls from dear old friends, relatives and topping it off at 10pm was a call from granddaughter, Dana Kay in Davis, CA. What a grand birthday it was!

Our eagles have done a beautiful job of clearing the nest of snow. Too bad we humans can't manage snow removal that easily!

Prayers abound for all in need!!!

Kay your day sounded great - old friends and family contacts make the day special.

Recent update on Pot Plant Owls

I'm not keeping up with messages pouring in on face book and email. Thank you to everyone who shared with us the PPO experience. Some good news in amongst this tragedy: We saw Pappa on a rooftop a short while ago, hooting. A minute later, their little owlet chick started 'hissing' / calling for food. We saw both of them fly together into the wetland. PPO's little one is still alive and well, and Pappa is not alone now.

ga everyone. Gosh I am thinking our eagles are better at snow removal than most humans with all of their equipment. Patches and I have doggie class tonight. She is doing better with her socialization. It is interesting and educational to watch her change as she learns life is safe and actually can even be fun in strange places with strange people. Eagle season photography wise is sort of a downer. So having said that I am ready for spring :-)

Thanks for bringing the news about Lydia over to the blog, Jo. Sounds like she will have a bit of healing ahead. Best wishes to her and her family.

Good news about Harriet!

Wow,

It looks like our eagles are protecting their nest with a very sharp stick.
