Hi all. Just updating my avatar to one of Freyja at 19 months. Still snowing here - covering the ground and trees/shrubs but not the streets.

Janet, thanks for all the information about the health benefits of massage - I'm convinced! The closest Massage Envy is 45 minutes from here - I checked because I know they offer packages. I really don't want to get a massage to relax and then have to drive 45 minutes to get home, so I'll stick to a local place where I'll pay a little more.

Judie said...

Okay, this is not a laughing matter. Snowflakes are sticking! I want the floating kind not the sticking kind.

Loretta, I see avatars for everyone including you.

Missed the tour but nest is still clear. Nothing floating or sticking. No even an eagle.

Mema Jo said...

JudyE - that large palm leaf in the nest is probably shielding off some of the wind.

Snowflakes at the nest.

Snowflakes outside my window.

stronghunter said...

You have to look hard to see snowflakes at the nest, but they are falling there.

Lolly said...

Two beautiful Eagles in the nest!

Janet said...

Good afternoon to one and all.

Chilly but sunny p.m. here.

KAY: finding a therapist you are comfortable with is akin to finding any body worker whom you are comfortable with, one size doesn't fit all. and you can leave your clothes on during a massage if you want to. I have people who stay partially to completely dressed and those who go completely nude. I don't peek. I don't care. they stayed modestly draped. I value my license too much to have it any other way! lol. and, just because I know what parts they have doesn't mean I want to see theirs!!!

JO: Reiki and massage, particularly in combo is fantastic. I add cranio-sacral and Reiki to most of my sessions. And I encourage most people to be in the moment, be silent, and just observe their breathing. I want them to get the most out of their session.....they are paying hard earned money for this and I want to give them their money's worth!

And yes, we do get sick around here. I truly don't do much massage here at the house. if someone is hurting, I will work on them, but they respect that I am off work when I am home.

Being lazy today Just completed reading the Diana Nyad FIND A WAY book Very inspirational. Next on the Agenda book wise is Head case, my brain and other wonders by Cole Cohen. I also have coupons to peruse, a coloring book to color in, a painting I need to work on.....all can be done comfortably from my sofa and in my jammies, thank you very much.

I hope everyone is having a lovely sunday. Stay warm and stay safe please and thank you!

later! light and love to all

Lolly said...

Lots of nest orations going on. Love watching the interaction!

Janet said...

SANDI: am glad you have made a decision that works for you. Yeah, I wouldn't want to drive that far either!!!! :D :D :D

Lolly said...

Home from church. Down to 29 this morn but now up to56 and sunny! Supposed to be sunny all week. Yay!

Eagles are in and out bringing sticks and grass. Lots of bickering and braking!

Lolly said...

Lots of bickering and beaking! Geesh!!

Lolly said...

Left to mop floors. One eagle I nest!

Judie said...

Wow! Lots of eagle time this afternoon. Seems the pressure is on to get the nursery ready for what may be an egg or two this coming week. As Lolly said, lots of bickering and beakering over getting things just right.

Lolly said...

Second back with a large stick! Busy as bees, they are!

Going to close for today - Downton Abbey this evening.

Goodnight and SED and AOYP to ALL ♥

stronghunter said...

Enjoy your program, Jo.

Judie said...

Oh my. What a season we are going to have. Our eagles have upgraded to flung. No more of this second class flugg. Belle and Shep are going uptown. lol

Headed for my recliner and Downton Abby.

Wishing restful sleep for all.

stronghunter said...

Flugg is being flung.

NCSuzan said...

Good Evening!

After "Downton Abbey" begins a new series named "Mercy", chronicling the Civil War. Curious so I will give it a watch. Just wanted to pass it on.

We had beautiful big snowflakes falling for about one hour and then .......nothing. My kind of winter storm!

Take care all.

stronghunter said...

Stopping by to say good night.

SED, everyone.

stronghunter said...

Just heard on the news that there was an earthquake in West Virginia today. Yikes!

Jewels said...

Hello all,

Again I am at work... I was thinking the last time I was really able to be on here was probably Dec 2014, Jan 2015...that was the last time I was on overnights. Day shift, I have no free time.

Totally supervising shift tonight. Whoo hoo!

Dad was safe. Closest Tornado was about 20 miles from him. Eeeks, too close for comfort!

Snow squalls perodically thru the day and one tonight after I got to work.
Calling for a big storm this weekend. I am wishing I could run away to Dad!!

Earthquake was a 3.0 and felt in Charles Town, Harpers Ferry, Bolivar. My sis felt it.

well tonight, I am struggling to stay awake. we may have had three calls in 2 hours!
Good night all..

Sandi said...

Goodorming my eagle friends. It was 32 degrees when I got up with the dogs at 5:30am. Now it's 25 degrees at 7:30am and it feels like 8 degrees with the wind. BRRRR! We got about an inch of snow yesterday.

Not much on my agenda for this MLK Day - taking my Jeep to the dealership to have something checked. I have noticed that there is no alarm that goes off if I don't have my seatbelt on. It's not that I love that annoying chime, but it bothers me that it's supposed to go off and doesn't.

Nest is MT. Stay warm everyone and have a greyt day!

JudyEddy said...

Good Morning Eagle Buds

took a sick day to go to the dentist at 1 today

Its 47° out now to cold for me

Janet said...

good morning to all. Waiting on the plumber who will be here in a bit.
SIS: it is currently 17 and feels like 4 here. There is no wind so it isn't too bad...but I'm content to stay in just the same. Well, save but going and doing the laundry today. :/

hope everyone has a great day! :)

Judie said...

Good morning.

Bright sunshine and blue sky this morning.

So glad the earthquake didn't shake the Sycamore Palace. It certainly wasn't far away, though.

Carolyn, it has been a long time since you were a more regular visitor and you were missed. Happy your dad is okay. Hopefully, your schedule will allow you to visit us more often now. Hi to Christie, please.

Sandi, forgot yesterday to say how cute Freyja is these days. Getting that little girl look. Hope you get the Jeep fixed. Oh, which model did you choose? I want a Hummer to defend against all the aggressive drivers around here but, sadly, no longer produced. Might have to look for a cop style chariot -- Escalade might work.

Suzan, I also watched Downton Abby. So happy for Carson and Mrs. Hughes and that Tom has returned. Sure am going to miss that program. Speculating that there might be some competition between sisters for Tom's attention.

Animal cams are quiet. Our nest MT. Pete's Pond was quiet. Berry eagle incubating. Bears are quiet. Oh, someone commented on seeing lights at the AEF nest in FL. Well, I looked and I do not think the lights were from cars or flashlights (someone looking for the nest). Just like at Pete's Pond, the lights are bugs being reflected by infrared as they fly around.

Hope the dentist visit is easy, JudyE.

Not much on my agenda today. Plan to take care of some laundry. Going to have steak tonight and want to try a recipe for Pearl onions which will be a first. Hopefully, they will be tasty.

Okay, wishing everyone the best day possible.

Mema Jo said...

Good morning to all! Needless to even mention how cold it is!
Staying in today - out tomorrow and hope the temps rise a little.
I had scheduled dinner at Dutch's for hubby's birthday and the adult children. I am
canceling today and hope for next time I schedule there isn't any snow expected.

Expecting my d-i-l to come over with some MD Crab soup she made. Later my oldest daughter and hubby coming down and she will be making her Mac/cheese here at the house for us. Jenny is home today - off work due to holiday but feels like she is getting a head cold and won't be able to go over for her regular play date with Elliot. My two sons are working today - inside - thank goodness. Our other daughter and hubby are visiting long time friends down in FL - They probably had a rainy time.

Carolyn - thanks for info about earthquake over your way. So happy I didn't feel a thing. That would freak me out. Come back often!

Lolly said...

Good morning! Think we have sound at the nest as it certainly sounds like wind. Cold here, too but think the north and east got the worst of it!

What??!? You do not like my creativity of words? I think flung is a great word for flugg which I created from fluff! Think it is time to creat more words for the Momster dictionary! Lol

Downtown Abbey was great! Love having Tom back and the wedding was great! Yes, going to really miss the program. Do not think there will be competition for Tom. Edith has that new guy that helped with the publishing of her magazine.

Been on a diet a wok now and down 6 lbs. all is good, considering I broke the diet with Michael and Zach here.

So, here I sit in my chair, feet up, iPad on legs, and here comes Skippita. She curls up on my chest, between my face and iPad, purring. I get no respect, but certainly do love her!

Have a great day!

Lolly said...

Wok instead of week? See, I am very creative!

JudyEddy said...

SAW THE TOUR and the still cam is back up to speed but 3 min behind

JudyEddy said...

I also noticed the wind sound had to turn it down for a while

JudyEddy said...

and still cam is the exact time

Judie said...

Ha, Lolly. You give yourself away. Speaking of dieting and typing Wok? Hmmm. Craving Chinese food?

Jo, have an extraordinary day with family. MD crab soup and mac & cheese surely give Dutch's serious competition. Mr. Jo will enjoy his birthday dinner any time, I'm sure.

Bye

good chilly afternoon. the news from the neely homefront: plumber is here. the news isn't great, but not worse than anticipated. the line has indeed collapsed. so its gonna be a major repair.....have a couple other things that need to be done, gonna see if we can do a package deal and get several things done at once...fingers crossed.

hope everyone is staying warm and well today.

I like creative words, LOLLY, sometimes my brain and mind do not connect and I say most creative things..... usually causes a laugh.

will check in later. ((((hugs))))

Good Afternoon Eagle Buds!!!

The nest looks MT and cold!

We're also in the deep freeze here. Found a dead squirrel under a big tree and on the driveway just outside my back gate this a.m.. No sign of injury, just looked like it froze in place. I scooped it up and pitched it into the brushy wooded area behind the garages. Not very ceremonious, but I didn't want it to get smushed and/or become attractive to the neighborhood predators. Poor thing.

Enjoyed reading about earthquake survival (I've been through several), the coining of words and learning how some of you are spending the holiday. Sorry yours included plumbing problems, JANET.

Seth and I had a grand time and now he's off to school once more.

Prayers for all in need!!!

Mema Jo said...

That wind is deafening! Sure hope our Royal Couple is hunkered down in a pine tree.

I was hoping for a FRESH NEW THREAD by now!

Company was very enjoyable this afternoon - Mac/cheese really good and MD crab soup is delicious!

Janet I hope you can get it all done in a packaged deal. Some of it sounds like a major repair.

Sandi I hope your seat belt buzzer was fixable.

I will miss Downton Abbey at the end of this season. Edith and new guy who helped with magazine - I hope they with Marigold become an item. I wish the best for Daisy! The wedding was beautiful! I hope there is a baby in the future for the Bates. And as for Denker - I hope she gets put in her place!

Suzan - What was Mercy like - I didn't watch as I had come to computer to put it to sleep.

Going to put my feet up for an hour! BBL

Howdy good afternoon eagle buds

Dentist office was uneventful as always by the 3rd I should have my lower partial in place one more appt Which I made for next Tue using 8 hrs I can't get a1l 192 but I can get a couple of days sick time

Just got back from dentist
and Walker Ford Which didn't like what they had to say Was so hoping that Sun fender bender I got into was the culprit
Thought maybe the impact loosed the oil filter or something NO such luck
I need only 148.00 in parts two gaskets but the labor is HORRIBLE Intake value gaskets is shot and that is where the drip of oil is coming from not the accident I had Bummer so I will be dropping off Thur to get fixed

JudyEddy said...

also went to the park and did get to see one adult and while I was at Walker ford I say NO eagle in their tower could have been in bottom of tower being I didn't hang around to long after

Judie said...

Stopping by before going on scullery duty.

Jo, so glad today was a special and enjoyable time for you. Have a pleasant evening.

Downton Abbey, well, I do think Edith and the new young man could be a pair. I was thinking of how excited and how her eyes lit up when she saw Tom. My choice would be Edith and the new guy and Mary with Tom (they both seem to have a sense of business) which could save Downton. I certainly understand Daisy's anger. So hopeful for the Bates.

Nest was MT with only a shaft of sunlight slanting across. Wind blowing.

JudyE, sorry about the car problems. Hopefully, less expensive than you anticipate.

Janet, sorry also about the plumbing problems. A package deal might be a good way to go.

Bye

stronghunter said...

Good evening,

Nest is empty.

I finally made myself go out to the store in this cold weather to purchase cold medicine and a vaporizer. I am hoping to be able to bowl tomorrow.

Sorry about the plumbing problems, Janet.

Very glad the earthquake was a small one.

NatureNut said...

Good Evening Eagle Buds!
Sorry to hear of Janet's plumbing problems and JudyE's truck trouble. Is it a curse??

We had 22° out awhile ago. It's not real bad except when the wind blows!
FINALLY put my new pics in the NOOK. Had experimented with one by painting the twigs out of the birds' white heads, but then they looked too good to go with the blurry tree!Oh Well!
Been having trouble with avatars, including everyone else's on the blog disappeared, too! Switched from Google to IE and all looks good!
Have a warm evening ☺

Lolly said...

Read all afternoon! Completely lazy! Too cold outside and we do not have the low temps most of you have.

Jo, you have such a great family! Love hearing of their visits and meals they bring.

Basketball tomorrow night. Meeting Laurel at a high school in north Fort Worth.

Yes, today my Michael is 47! Hard to believe!

Mema Jo said...

Good evening - Just finished watching Jeopardy and believe it or not there wasn't a winner - All new contestants tomorrow.

I have a few TV shows this evening - nothing exciting!

Loretta I'll be looking in your Nook.

Saying goodnight to all and PLEASE stay warm. ♥

Judie said...

Good sort of late evening.

Loretta, will check the nook in the morning.

Jo, glad you had a special day.

Happy Birthday Michael.

Shirley, really sorry you are feeling so unwell. I'll send Jufie along to watch over you.

Headed to the pillows.

Restful sleep for all.

NCSuzan said...

Shirley, hope you are feeling better soon.

Jo, Mercy Street was interesting. Will definitely watch episode two. Civil war, hospital, southerners losing their homes, period costumes all can add up to be an interesting show. The characters seem to be developing well so I will give it another chance!

Judie love your reason for a Hummer. I will get one also and we can posse up and drive the highways side by side and show them who's boss!

Had an outlet in the garage explode this morning and the refrigerator temp is 27º. Monday is off to a good start.

Lolly, did I read that you lost 6 pounds in one wok? What is your secret?

Take care everyone and stay warm.

WVJerry said...

Good morning. I see an empty nest now. Cold and windy here. Looks like some snow possible later in week here. Have a great day and take care all.

Sandi said...

Goodorming my eagle friends. 15 degrees, real feel 2 degrees, high of 27 today. Gotta love winter. The dogs took care of business really fast this morning.

Judy - UGGHH about the truck!

Janet - UGGHH about the plumbing!

I must work for 4 consecutive days this week - haven't done that in a month!! Maybe we'll get a snow day on Friday???? ;)

Have agreyt day all!

Good Morning Eagle Buds
Tonight will be our coldest night in 30's

Janet said...

good morning. things to be thankful for: a job that works with me. health. love. the ability to repair things.

so, yes we did go with the package deal. thank you all for your support. its been a wee bit stressful here. mom always told me the "wife" would be the support, nurse, psychologist, etc etc etc....but wow, I needed one of each of those myself last night!
ha ha

so after talking with the Hiller folks: things we determined, and much of this I suspected.....many of the former repairs (by my father in law) was done not professionally to save a dollar, which is fine, i'm all for that, but codes violations out the ear. won't get into all the details, but here's what we hammered out:

the drain line from the washer is collapsed. period. no questions. so, that has to be fixed. that will require some jackhammering of the slab, of course, but some of the new stuff can be run above the slab and then boxed in for protection of the lines, and easier to get to later down the road.

the water heater is not the correct one. we have been talking about replacing it for some time. now the water heater being incorrect is on us. the one that was here when we moved in quit right after we got here and we bought one and put it in. its a water heater, right? well its a ventilation issue. okay so since we were wanting to do it anyway, they are going to install a tankless heater. supposedly we will never run out of hot water. i'm kind of excited about that, but that is the most expensive part of this deal.

and finally....I told you the heater down stairs quit working.....thank goodness for infrared heaters and my foresight to buy one several years ago. its keeping the downstairs tolerable in these cold temps.

a tech will come out to figure out what's going on with it, no charge for that as we are in the Happy Hiller Club (trust me its a thing) and depending on what he/she finds.....it might be a repair to the heater, it might be a replacement as that particular unit is over 20 years old.

so. with that said.... yikes. some major stuff. but I have to say, we've used hiller for several years now and their prices are comparable but they guarantee their work and their warrantees are outstanding. they stand behind what they do so no complaints there.

JUDYE: so sorry sis. I hope things get fixed with your truck!!! AND the dentist!
SANDI: so sorry! four whole days! you poor baby! you need a massage to cope!!!
;)
uh oh. NCSUZAN and JUDIE forming a posse of hummers. is JUFIE involved? so you know, I will get on up the road to Fort Knox and get a tank ..... they have lots of them, certainly they won't miss one..................
;)
I am up. WHY am I up? idk. sheesh. its way too early for a non working day.

however, such is life.

it is cold, 15. getting closer to 30 today, never got above 25 yesterday. they are calling for sleet and snow tomorrow. dependent upon what happens, I may or may not work tomorrow. we shall see.

well, gonna have one more cup of coffee and then do something.....was thinking I might go back to bed, but not sure that's going to happen. must have not gotten enough sleepy dust last night............. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

everyone, as you greet the sunrise know that you are close in my heart and thoughts and I am so glad each of you is in my life! have a Happy Eagle DAy!

grannyblt said...

GM all.

Yikes Janet, lots of $$$ going out soon. I'm very interested in those tankless water heaters. Everything I've heard is good except the cost. The word is they are expensive, but I've never heard a price. Even my plumber says it just depends. Would you be willing to give me a ballpark figure? You can pm me on Facebook (Lynne Doolan) if you are willing.

Think I will grocery shop today as we may be in for a very white end of week and tomorrow may be busy. Very cold here the last few days with a little snow.

Nest empty a while ago but will check again soon.

Hope all are well and having a terrific Tuesday.

Janet said...

Yes, LYNNE1 will pm you with the info. :)

Judie said...

Good morning.

Janet, so sorry about the repairs and the expense. Hope all goes quickly.

Hi Lynne1. Snow on the VA agenda, also. Darth is out for a doctor's appointment and plans to do some pre-storm foraging. The J&J mini-mart is fully stocked.

Sandi, do you even remember how to work four consecutive days? Perhaps you will be saved by a snow day. lol

Hi Jerry.

Suzan, yes, my scheme is to get a very large and very high vehicle. So tired of parking and then some big butt cars park on either side and I can't see to back out OR move forward. I'm looking to be bigger and badder than the others. Hit my vehicle and it's going to hurt yours more than mine - ha ha! Now, if you join me, we can just patrol the roads frightening others into submission and just think how intimidating we could be if Janet joins us with a military tank. Ah, I now have a new fantasy.

Jufie is on assignment protecting Jo. He doesn't need a vehicle. He's magic.

Lolly, please do share your wok diet.

No panda cam when I checked. Decorah nest MT. Bears should be having cubs now. Derek and Savannah's first egg did not hatch - two more hopefuls. AEF babes are quite big now. Out nest MT except for wind and sunshine.

Wishing everyone the best day possible.

Judie said...

...our nest...

My fingers must have woked on the wrong keys

grannyblt said...

Judie, my late husband always swore my next vehicle should be a hummer. I now drive an Equinox, higher than a sedan, but still seem to get into the parking situation where there is a van on one side and a huge pick up on the other. I just back out slowly and hope for the best. Of course my main situations are at the grocer.

Temps here are in single digits with feel like temps at -7. The Amish construction crew is busily at work at a house down the street putting up a new roof and siding. Don't know how they do it.

I think still cam may be stuck-----

Lynne2 said...

Good morning....sun is out, it's 10 degrees, wind chill -5.

God help us if that storm this Friday/Sat lives up to it's potential. There will be no way to keep the driveway clear. We have no snow plow. We have to hope it's not a wet snow to go along w/ the 40 mph gusts coming with it or the power will go out. No employee is going to come. It will be only us to care for the 3 horses, our dogs, the dogs and cats in the kennel, the 7 rescue cats, and to try to move snow w/ the Kabota.

Glad to see some HP more often finally!

Kay said...

Good Morning Eagle Buds!!!

Our MT nest is swaying in a stiff breeze. Belle and Shep are living with the same freezing conditions most of us are "enjoying". Ha!

JANET, best of luck with repairs and updating to code.

JUDIE and SUZAN, you are going to be a force to be reckoned with once the Momster Monster Vehicle Patrol hits the road!

LORETTA, I'm looking forward to a visit to The Nook soon!

Nothing today's agenda for Penny n' me except Survival!

Good Frigid Morning to all ♥
Going to wear a face mask when I go out to Chemo - and a hoodie and gloves and of course Socks! I'll be fine due to such short walks to car and into office. I have a good chauffeur.

Lynne2 - Why not call owner for some new equipment for snow removal - something with a
plow on it. You never know he may go along with it and perhaps the equipment could be used for other chores on the farm.

Judie - don't get any vehicle too high to get into the driver's seat. My son has a
big wheeled Ford Bronco that I have to have help getting into.

I'll return sometime this late afternoon or early evening. C U

Mema Jo said...

Loretta I just viewed your photos on the Nook. So happy you will have a nest to watch this season!

Lynne2 said...

We tried to tell them that we had no snow removal stuff appropriate for the snow problems here. They, at the time, felt the Kabota would be sufficient. But it's just a front end loader and will take HOURS to move snow, and the wind will just blow it right back over. They also said they'd get a plow for the riding mower...the one that's leaking oil that he opted not to fix but rather by a newer one onto which a plow cannot be placed. OMG.....So unless there is a back up plan on their end that we haven't been informed of, no one is getting in or out of here.

Lynne2 said...

He could hire someone to plow, and I cannot imagine what that would cost.....but it's the blowing over the farmer's fields back onto the driveway that is the problem.

Sometimes you just have to let children make their own mistake in order for them to learn...LOL!

Lolly said...

Good morning! M T nest!

I am doing Nuitri System diet and while doing this upping water intake and no wine! I can do this! The hard thing is maintaining the weight loss. My big downfall is dinner. Love cooking! Also, over the holidays I baked, which I love doing. I do not bake most of the time, sad to say! I am not a snacker, but I do enjoy a good meal. Low metabolism does not help! Both brother and sister are over weight and have diabetic problems. I am determined not to go that route. I am just trying to loose the weight gained over the holidays.

Do hope the snow predicted does not get as bad as predicted. Megan sure does not need it, nor Lynne2.

We have sunshine today and not much water standing on the brick. Yay! May get out and work in the yard some but first errands to run. Then basketball game this evening.

Do bundle up, Jo and stay well!

Have a great day!

Good afternoon,

Oh my, that is quite a storm predicted for the weekend.

lunch break for me too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! whew. I decided to make the most of this time....you know, having to pull EVERYTHING out for the repairs coming the end of the week and cull some stuff. so I have been through all the bins we pulled out of the closet and I have, quite literally, the back seat of our wagon (ford escort wagon) FULL of stuff to drop at good will this afternoon!!! woot woot! yeah me.

it is in the mid 20's outside, but I moved the last of the holiday bins back into the barn and the now, newly empty bins (from culling) into the barn!

tonight we have to clean out the rest of one room so they can get in there. I may work on it when we get back from allergy shots.

felt good to get outside too. although it is chilly, the wind is down so to me its not bad. livvy and tom are complaining its cold. he cranked the heat up in the house to 72 last night and I was overly warm! so funny. years ago, 20 years or so ago, that would have been the other way, I would have been cranking the heat up and he would have been saying no no no, too warm!

looks like we might be prepping for some sleet/snow tonight/tomorrow. we'll see.

check in later!

While I am here......

Shirley, glad you decided to stay home and take care of yourself.

Lolly, those are good results. Have never tried Nutrisystem.

Judie, our frivolity this morning has made me smile all day however there is one more thing. I also watch The First 48 and I want a street name. It seems that no one knows your real name and you look like everyone else. Been thinking on this for a while. Will come up with something eventually.

Another one in and now both are gone! Love those birds!

Put weight in your pockets so you don't get blown over!

Judie said...

Suzan, gonna think on your new street name. Obie (outer banks?) Nah, not scary enough. Maybe Rip Tide?

Dinner over. Scullery in order. Now headed for my recliner.

Did not see Shep arrive.

Hoping Jo is feeling okay. Maybe a little tired. Prayers for a night of seriously restorative sleep.

Restful sleep for all.

Lynne2 said...

Oh yes, I love the name Rip Tide!

NCSuzan said...

Hahaha! Rip Tide sounds like someone who could do some serious damage. That might be me!

Yes, hoping Jo is resting.

Judie said...

Hey, detective, I swear I don't know the woman but I saw her threatening drivers on the highway with that big butt Hummer she drives. What? Oh, no I don't know her but ... she goes by the name Rip Tide. Maybe there's a camera at the gas station 'cause she probably has to go there a lot.

well, thank goodness person safety Tasers are soon to be available to the public. Soon I will be riding my Unicorn of Justice and teaching those evil lawbreakers....

Have been home a while. Joseph's team was beat bad! Not good! Enjoyed though being with Laurel and got a Joseph hug after the game. He smiles and gives us both hugs in front of friends. So love that boy!

Yes, I do hope eggs can wait until after snow.

Uh oh! The Queen is on a roll!! Now armed with a taser she I'll rule the world!

I drive a biggie! We went through two conversion vans. Loved them! Now I drive an Expedition. We have to have a biggie to pull the trailer. And, we really enjoyed the conversion vans as no one in this family is short and traveling in a little car just does not hack it!

Ok, up too late. Need to hit the pillows!

Good morning. I see an empty nest. Looks like snow coming this way Friday. Talk later. Take care all.

Goodorming my eagle friends. 19 degrees, feels like 10 but warming up a little today and not as cold. Our forecast is for rain - and lots of it - with the storm that's coming.

Jo, I hope day 1 went smoothly yesterday and day 2 goes just as well. Keep the faith, my friend!

Janet, decluttering is so freeing I think!

Lolly, sorry about the basketball loss but the hug after the game was worth the trip, right?

Judie and Suzan driving Hummers, with their street names written on the driver's side doors, and Lynne2 with her taser - what a picture!! :)

Judy, I assume you have health insurance with Walmart. Will that continue when you retire b/c you have worked for them for so many years? Less than a month for you - yup, I am envious!

My autistic boy is obsessed with gears. Yesterday, I took Denny's grandfather's old mantel clock in to school. It no longer works but we have it sitting out just the same. I knew James would love swinging the pendulum and seeing the gears and the flywheel that causes the chime to ring. He very gently played with it for his entire free time at the end of the day and asked me to leave it in school for today.

Have a greyt day all.

Good morning,

Nest is empty right now.

So cold here.

I was watching the weather last night, and the forecaster said that if there is an all-night store nearby, we should go out and do the grocery shopping right then--at 11:00-something PM--in preparation for the coming snowstorm. Goodness me. I elected to stay home. I will try to get the shopping done today.

I am thinking that I might plan to stay home tonight rather than go play bridge. My cold is still hanging on, and my friends do not need any germs.

NCSuzan said...

Beautiful pair of eagles in the nest!

NCSuzan said...

They stopped some minor nestorations and something has caught their attention.

grannyblt said...

GM all. Will check nest after I post and will come back if there is an alert.

Shirley, I remember shopping at 5 am one time when a hurricane was bearing down on us. I was surprised that the store wasn't busy considering.

I think the storm will miss me, and hope all of you are as lucky or at least well prepared.

NCSuzan said...

Good morning granny!

NCSuzan said...

Our residents are still checking out the 'hood!

NCSuzan said...

Lynne with a taser? My goodness. I am not worried because everybody knows me by my street name......I cannot be identified!

NCSuzan said...

No Jo this morning? It is not time for her appointment is it?

Mema Jo said...

I'm here - you are just early - lol

Appointment 1:15 - yesterday's went well.
