So very much enjoying my first day of summer. Went out paddling, then to yoga, then to lunch in the park and then to Grans to Grans event in another park...then to a dance for solstice later on tonight.
Blessed Be.
tomorrow I hike and then I do yoga in the woods.
I am truly blessed.

Good to read and catch up.
JUDYE not too much longer before you head out on holidays...YAY YAY YAY...

AM drinking mint tea to cool down and will plant two more pots of plants...

See you later this evening...

What an ugly day this was...dark, gray and sprinkley all day...and my mood matched it perfectly
Hope tomorrow is more pleasant and productive!

Trying to plan our yearly 4th of July picnic...something that the Capt. and I always enjoyed preparing for so much. Not going to be as elaborate as it has been in the past, but I will have some good food and a lot of love to pass around. Anyone in the vicinity on that date is WELCOME!

magpie said...

I'll be in the Vicinity!
Thanks Wanda...I just did learn recently that the Fireworks WILL occur.

I will say that the overcast, cool, and sprinkly DID help with my non-working A/C condition, but am
saddened that it dampened YOUR day, my dear Friend.....

I also had a broken Vacuum cleaner, a flattend tire on my New To Me
Huffy Bike (no gears, no hand brakes :)
BUT by son in law was able to help with the vacuum cleaner and will also help with the bicycle tire!
I think it is a bad stem only, maybe the tube needs replacing too.

$60 at a yard sale.

Good Evening, Eagle Pals !!!

magpie said...

I'll get with you, Wanda...before picnic time, and see what you need to bring besides myself and my red, white, and blue fingernails and toenails!

I THINK Jewels has to work that night :(

But I'm not totally sure about that

Well, JudyE.....I "see" you have some vacation and playtime coming up, Yay for You !

You mentioned back to back Midsomer Murders the other day...I also watched those two episodes...I was mesmerized and could not NOT see the outcome, wow, what a loony that
"Director" was!

I am also enjoying the "return" of Cold Case, with Lil, Scotty, and the rest of the team....my all time
favorite crime show!

Wow, I seem to be magpie-ing!

magpie said...

So on that note: I am not going to disappear....shower and shampoo awaits me, much needed....

been battling a horrendous invasion on Earwigs here !!
EOOG !!!

I've "treated" three rooms, have two more to go, they are merciless in their presence...yet I dislike
destroying any of God's creatures....
if I could just shoo them all outside I would be happy but that is not an option.

Best Wishes to ALL for SWEET and Peaceful Sleep....

Hi,

Still waiting for one of my sons to fix my computer. Will wants to fix his own first, and he has been working on it for weeks. Called Rus, and found him in NY.

Thinking of you, Jo.

Glad that Larry is better.

Happy to see Margy posting.

Hoping for a good 4th for Wanda.

Waiting to hear about Judie's latest adventures.

Counting the days with Judy.

Hoping for a nice trip for Andy.

Enjoying learning about foods from Hoda. I had potatoes and lettuce from my own garden tonight. That has to be good.

See you later.

SED, everyone.

Goodorming my eagle friends. Nest looks MT. Overcast here this early Sunday morning but the clouds are supposed to break up. We got no rain yesterday - just overcast - which was good for the outdoor wedding.

Lynnis was discharged from the hospital yesterday but Freyja was not. She has jaundice and the pediatrician wanted to put her under UV light. I'm sure that Lynnis stayed last night since she is nursing, not very comfortable for her as she heals from her surgery. Brian's last email said they will both come home either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Have a good day all.

Good Morning Eagle Buds

Good Sunday morning to all ♥

68° make for a lovely cool morning.
No special plans for the day - whoops that's wrong. I do have some
special plans--- Jenny will come over this morning and I do love my Jenny Time. Then around 3:00 I will venture over to Hedgesville, WV for a Miss Kitty b-day party for ggd Sophia who is 8 yrs old.
THEN my Haiti traveler will come home this evening. The group has a 2 hr lay over in Atlanta but it is at the dinner hour so I'm sure they will chow down. Anxious to see Michael.

Yesterday I received online from Christine and Patrick pictures of their beautiful trip to Alaska. At the end of the album I think they were thinking about me with all the eagle pictures they captured.
The week for them was for military couples like a Marriage Encounter. The kids renewed their vows and the most wonderful event was when Patrick committed himself up to God and was baptized in that awesome lake! I am so happy for them.

I really was signing on and wondering what all I had to say to you my friends. Well it just all came pouring out of my brain. ♥

Good morning. Sarah and I were up in Southport Maine last week. It rained every day except one. We went out on Sarah's Uncle's boat and saw an eagle fly into the trees along the shore. There must have been an osprey nest in there somewhere (never did see it) because an osprey came out of nowhere and dive bombed the eagle. I got a couple of photos of that plus a couple of other osprey nests. Here are the photos:

Great pictures Bob.

Mema Jo said...

Hi Bob - What beautiful captures you have given us. The eagle and osprey were beautiful. Wonder why the Osprey attached the Eagle when no fish were involved.
I sure hope you got your Lobster Biscuits ♥

Bob Quinn said...

Hey Jo. It's possible it's mate had a fish the eagle was trying to snatch. Not sure. And yes, I had a delicious lobstah roll. Wicked good as they say in Maine.

Good morning,

Cloudy and rainy here this morning. Nice to see a post from. Bob.

Hoping Frejya is released to go home today.

Hard to believe it's time for 4th of July plans.

Quiet day here. Hunter is with his dad.

Hoda said...

Good morning

Absolutely beautiful photos BOB
Thank You.

Gorgeous summer day here.

Headed out to yoga in the woods with a hike and tea ceremony.

Feeling blessed.

Sounds like a great day JO.

I hope LYNNIS at least had a cot to sleep on? Seems strange to discharge a nursing mother yet keep her baby???

Whitewater Rafting trip being organized for first weekend in July. The Dragon Boat Team involved.

I hope SHAR is having a terrific weekend celebrating ANDREW.

Sorry about the eagle which fell out of the nest LYNNE. Your video showed it spread its wings. Did someone go to rescue it? Anyone know?

paula eagleholic said...

No posts since this morning? Maybe they will show up when I post.

The eagle made it safely back to its neat Hoda.

Back home..was great to see my Larry :-)

paula eagleholic said...

Wow no posts.

Haven't had a chance to watch our juvies all weekend.

Need to Lollypalooza the house this week..friends arrive Friday .
