Tell the weather man it will be like a furnace if he gets a good shot of Canadian air!!!MARGY!!!
I am glad SUSAN is safe SHIRLEY and I know she was not looking for it and she had very good responses...Blessed Be.
MARGY it is too hot to eat really!!! I eat goat feta cheese, I eat raw salad, anything with dressing sends my body temperature up...I slice lemon in my salad...I drink lots of water...and now water with honey, salt, and lemon to make for electrolites...Tomorrow is in the 90's too...I think I would like to have some cloud cover and some rain!!! honestly my brain feels as if it melts...Gracious me!!!

Spent too much time hanging blinds in Kathryn's room today. I still need to put some up in Hunter's room and my room. Kathryns's were destroyed by a cat. Hunter's and mine are just worn out.
Keeping you in the LIGHT for tomorrow's interview PAULA... Drive safely tomorrow afternoon or evening. Can we all have a reunion in Paradise when you move there?Promise we will not be too loud for your neighbours and we can go explore all the eagle nests around there and write a book and sell it only to select nature lovers so the place would not be inundated with tourists!!! Blessings for the interview first tomorrow...
I think PAULA's interview is at LARRY's Paradise and then she will drive to her Paradise...I reread her post...and this is what I understand now.
LOLLY it is too hot!!! I know when I was in China we had a few days that were in the mid forties!!! God Almighty pouring water on my head after I shaved my hair, the cloth I had wrapped around my head would steam in vapour!!!
Laughing at Shoes and showing and how so very kind you all are...I am not wearing shoes but I am very happy I showed up too...I have not checked other sources of eleoctronic sites besides here and FB and that is just fine by me...
Hoda, I guess your apartment does not have AC? Could not live without AC. However, growing up 500 miles south of here, we did not have AC. Oh, Mother and Daddy's bedroom had a window unit. But, I think when you are young the heat does not bother you as much.
My turn to head to bed. Next couple of days will be busy getting ready to go. Yes, very excited about going as being with family is so much fun. Our 4 nieces are a riot and we enjoy them so much. We did see them in March but Laurel has not seen them in about 6 years. Jacob was a baby. Yikes! That is too long. We used to see them every summer when we all went to Florida to Jack's parents home.
My computer has NOT frozen or crashed at all since the new MODEM was installed, so I guess that was truly the problem. Once again, I can go from one site to another 'in a flash'! I would be a Happy Camper if I could get my email up and running. Don't have time to go back to Comcast until Friday...I can wait!
Capt. Gene and I got a lot of pre-picnic work done today; GG's garage is now clean and ready for our guests, just in case we have to take cover from the rain. Porch is scrubbed and flowers are watered. Need to do a little dusting and vacuuming and that is about all that is left. Cooking will be done on Thursday. Tomorrow will be dedicated to unloading the Food Bank truck and putting everything away.
GG is doing fairly well, still can't walk very well, but she does get around (still won't use her cane or walker, says they don't help) STUBBORN!
Goodnight WANDA. So happy computer problems are solved.Hope you get email after Friday. Glad GG is well.
Ha Ha Ha LOLLY!!! A/C no way!!! I have a few fans and I thik the only building I know of here that has A/C is the library. I always sneeze when I go in there and it is on. Mercifully they do not need to have it on often.
Good Wednesday morning my eagle friends! Sunny here right now - sure hope it stays that way today!
Judie, read your post that things were going OK with your guests. Then read HELP! What's up?
Janet, pool is looking good - you must be getting anxious right about now to fill 'er up and hop in!
Paula, congrats on making it to the next round of interviews - sounds very encouraging!!
Hoda, don't you know by now that this is where you come when you want to get your feelings out?? We don't care if it's celebrating or fretting or venting, we're here to support one another! Prayers continue for your family in Egypt to stay safe. Brian has talked to us some about the situation that he will be going into in Yemen - nothing he said sounded reassuring to me! But he's determined to go so it is what it is.
OK, need to read back on last night's posts - BRB!
No answer to Judie's mysterious call for help. She's keeping us guessing!
I see no eagles on the cam - didn't see any yesterday either while I was watching. It appears the kids are spending less and less time at home. Good for them, bad for us!
Tennis for me at 8am and then heading to the beach for the afternoon.
Pretty overcast here in Martinsburg... but I guess that is blue sky at the Royal Sycamore ....
nest looks empty to me also right now Sure is nice to see your posts... sometimes I have had good success with a Comcast technician walk me through some fixes on email...sometimes I can send and not receive, and sometimes the other way around.... But either soway for you: HOPE IT GETS FIXED SOON !!
SANDI, you have sunshine, and deserve it, but we have showers and thunderstorms - 100% chance - til 5pm, then chances go down a bit. Have fun today with the family!
PAULA, I'm so excited for you and your interview! Prayers that you get it and it's the perfect job for you. Is it closer to Larry's house in Paradise, or yours? Got confused there. :)
WANDA, thanks for the invite for all to your fireworks party! That is so sweet. Sounds like you have your hands full. I'm so glad you're back here on the blog with us, where you belong! Best wishes to all party goers! I like to stay home on the 4th and make sure nothing catches fire (4 acres of woods) and that the dogs and cats are not freaking out because of the noise.
JO, so glad your Bragg Bunch is here with you now, and hope they stay close!
SHIRLEY, thank God that Susan was safe! I was held up when I worked at McDonalds in SoCal when I was 17. Having a gun held to your head changes your life!
KAY, so glad you've settled back in. YAY that Malcolm is coming back to your place. I know you adore him. Big HUGS!
LOLLY, such a relief that you found someone to water for you while you're gone. I know that feeling! Hoping Annie has a great time at camp!
JANET, is the pool going to be ready tomorrow?
JUDIE, I hope you're okay and are no longer in need of help. You can do it!
MARGY, I just read it, but can't remember when you get your stitches out...is it Friday?
Hope everyone has a great, great day! Wet or hot, make it a good one!
Yesindeedy, Lori... Friday it is....or supposed to be if the doctor thinks it's time...
Understand about staying home at the 4th....for your home placde and your furbbabies.... typically I cannot stand those random neighborhood fireworks....starts before the 4th and goes on after the 4th.... These near GG's are the professional ones and very very nice...sometimes they get postponed a night or two for weather or other things... but we always have a great time anyway !
I wish I had time to go back and see WHAT ON EARTH is going on with JUDIE! HELP, she says and then N-O-T-H-I-N-G! We're waiting, Judie!
SHIRLEY, I have a name for your Vodka, Rum and OJ, but don't think it fits the space on your puzzle...it's called BRASS MONKEY, never had one, but sounds very potent!
MARGY, anxious to see and chat with you. Didn't have much of a conversation at the Hospital, what with YOU going in for surgery and our Brandon in the operating room. He had an ACL repair and meniscus tended to (whatever they do with that?). Anyway, he will be at the picnic and you and he can compare pain and scars;) Hope your surgery does what you and your doctor hoped for! I think I recall some pain and numbness a good while back? Karla had that surgery and it did help her. She is at the Beach, so she won't be with us Thursday:(
Righto Wanda.... Can't wait also to see You and the GG Gang...
Judie had extensive "do'" done on their house, painting and carpet etc... THEN there were two or three somewhat distant cousins of Darth coming to visit for...several days... Judie had not met these "visitors" so.... things were up in the air about how all that was going to go... first day was OK.. Tues was the second day... well, maybe it was not so great
Happy 4th of July Eve to my eagles watching buddies.
Shirley--all that excitement for Susan.Glad she is safe.
Hoda--If it were my family in Egypt, I would be worried sick. I hope for a quick resolution with no more loss of life. Prayers for the situation and peace for you.
Judie--I hope your situation w/those people is better today. Claim a bad headache and go to bed early.
Yipee Janet, you have your pool. I'll be over shortly lol.
Lolly- I have had to admit that I just can't keep up with all the yard work by myself. My lawnmower died and I have hired someone to cut it for me from now on. I was exhausted after trimming the hedges and cleaning up yesterday. This old grey mare.....
Paula--hoping the job works out for you.
Andy-- Maybe you could invest in a window unit air conditioner for some relief. You can get smaller ones that just cool one room, and it sure makes sleeping easier.
All of those I didn't mention, I am thinking of you.
Good morning! Saw 63 on the thermometer this morning. The days will start getting back to normal gradually. Wish the highs would stay near 90, but no such luck. Heading back to the high 90's by early next week.
Need to go get ready to get the do done and buy cat food to take to the vet's "camp". So glad now that the cat is boarded at the vets. He knows what to do if things start suddenly to go downhill. Annie is just more and more senile. Her hair is matting terribly and she will NOT let us comb her. She is seldom on our laps, she spends her days in Jack's closet and her nights in the garage. She eats and eats but is so skinny. Her time is getting closer, but she is in her 19th year, she has had a great life starting out as a dumped kitty (on a rainy morning) with ear mites, fleas, and worms at approx. 6 weeks of age.
Help! I need a pitcher (or two or three) of Brass Monkey liquid.
Day three and two to go. Exhausted would be an understatement. Audrey and Grace are terrified and stay hidden most of the time. I feel sad for them. They don't understand all the people and activity, etc.
Very quick skim. Shirley I am sorry Susan was subjected to such a frightening situation and that Lolly has lost her yard person, and Annie is off to camp, and am deeply troubled by the situation in Egypt (prayers Hoda).
Off to procure more grosseries. I will return when I can.
Miss being in touch with everyone. All will return to normal soon.
Aha, WANDA, Brass Monkey it is !!!! The puzzle is one of the Times gimmicky things so brass fit in the first five blanks and Monkey was for the whole 6th blank. The gimmick was animals of the Chinese zodiac so a bunch of the questions had to be answered that way. Arrrrgggghhh ! I caught on to most, but didn't realize that drink clue was part of the "fun". Thanks for trying, SHIRLEY and ANDY !
Jeez, that company must really have JUDIE bamboozled ! She still hasn't checked in.
Happy to hear GG is doing pretty well ! An amazing woman ! I remember how LYNN loved attending your 4th of July do's WANDA and I know you're missing her a lot !
Aha, JUDIE, what a relief to hear from you---we were about to send a posse` out there to check on you. Oh, boy, you know what they say about company and fish...sounds like you agree ! ☺
Anxious to hear from Hoda about the recent news that Egypt's top military officer announces President Mohamed Morsy is no longer the leader of the country. ????????
Happy that Judie got on here and is still capable to go get more grosseries for the 2 days remaining. The pitchers of the Brass Monkey liquid sure would help - even a lick or two for Audrey and Grace could help matters. She didn't tell us if Frank is going to make it - I sure hope so!I guess you are now paying the price for all those beautiful new renovations. I hope you and Frank and the kits will be able to enjoy them in the Peace of your home very soon. ♥
Oldest gs was here visiting the past hour. He works at Martinsburg Library in their computer lab. He really loves helping & explaining to the people who come in to the lab.
State flower of Maryland is out if full force hereaboutgs: Black-eyed Susans !!
Also one of my all time favorites: The Orange Butterfly Weed....
Milkweed is budding but I haven't seen it Blooming Yet...
Good Afternoon Eagle Pals !!
Hellloooooo Judie...yah, some Brass Monkeys would be MOST welcome... (too bad all the renovations were not happening at the same time as the scheduled visit ! )
Stopping by to wish all of you a happy and safe 4th. For some strange reason The west is so very hot and the east is so very wet and IL is so just right now its strange to me. BUT our fireworks have been moved up off the parks along the river because well the river is in the parks on both IL and Ia side so we have had our share last week and the months before.
HOme from work with over 4 inches of rain just in a couple of hours so habby I have a truck some people are stranded because roads under water
I saw a lady walking with her baby and gave her a umbrella I have several If I had another vehicle I would have picked her up she had two kids and her self and me with pick up truck
I think all our rain is headin up north from what radar looks like
PAULA sending positive thoughts for your next interview
Took a lot of energy to stay balanced today as my sister and my cousins in Cairo have been going to Tahreer Square and they did not heed my wishes to stay away from it all. My worke: They are there I am not. I must live in faith and trust and what will happen will happen. I however do not have to like it.
Thank you all for your posts. Yes Morsi is out and the statements prior to their departure including from Morsi, if one was to read between the lines and know the Egyptian Mentality, spoke to me of settling scores on ouster!!! The Moslem Brotherhood are not nice people...plain and simple they have proven it while in power. Some were stopped trying to cross the border into Egypt and now is to watch and wait and see where the first suicide bombers strike. Yes I think it will come to that from what was said prior. I just do not know when and where it will happen yet it will happen.
The Army has closed the Islamic TV stations and also arrested Islamic Journalists. That for me is not good it will give them more of a reason to think their Jihad is justified.
It is an explosive situation. The American Embassy and other Embassies now are evacuating non essential embassy staff and their families. I still wished they would take Anne Patterson out of there. She is not at all popular with the Egyptians as she is seen as taking the Moslem Brotherhood's side and protecting them. I will breathe a sigh of relief when I hear she is gone. I hope they do not wait to give the 400 Marines a chance to prove their stuff!!! It is not worth endangering their lives the way I see it... The US has 2000 Marines on Board the Navy Vessels in the Red Sea and they presumably will be deployed if the situation goes out of control. Just take the Ambassador out of there is my wish. All this information I am getting from Twitter and from European and Middle Eastern news stations. North America media has been silent. I am glad SANDI said a few days earlier that she feels certain the States Dept is monitoring these sources too...I hope they act on what they are reading and not wait too long.
SANDI I would like to write you an email as to the Yemen. I will simply share what I know and what most people in the Middle East feel about them...I put your son in the Light and I will pray for him every day that he is there. It is not an easy assignment he is going into... God Bless him and keep him safe...
God Bless Us All. May there be peace love and Light to all.
I had a very good yoga practice. It was hot and I was emotional and in one pose I fell but did not hurt myself. I got up and continued with the class. I had some tears and it was all good to have it all happen in yoga. The community was supportive and I feel blessed.
Too hot to eat. Sucking on lemons and drinking coconut water for electrolites...somehow I also think of having onions but have not figured out a way to eat them unless I put them on Fetta Cheese or Cashews Butter...they are good for my heart, onions are...
In the evening, after five I will ride my bicycle across the bridge to go take pictures of the racing team who will be travelling this Friday...there is also a surprise for them...the other team will give the a salute for their going out there and for participating. Have a good time and winning is only a bonus...
just got back from eating Panera Bread had the broccoli soup and tomato basil bread for my bread for sandwich I love that bread EAGLE FLEW across the top of screen
Didn't get my interview today...guess they will call on Friday.
The electrician never stpped by either. I have an outside breaker that is attached to mmy electric meter...it has flipped several times, so I want it checked out...probably needs replace.
Crabs have picked up...will steam some this weekend.
I am packed, Andrea has been here to see ALL our pots. LOL She is a young college girl, she works at a daycare. She is going to be house sitting and taking care of the dogs and plants next door. She will come over here two times and we will pay her well. It is a job!!
Hoda, good to see you on here. I know you are a bundle of nerves. ((hugs))
Hoda, Can't imagine the stress you must feel but know my prayers, along with the others, are with you and your family.
Paula, hope you get a confirmation call Friday and it's exactly suited for you. Careful with the electricity. That and natural gas, of which my house has both, scares me.
JudyE, you're funny... gulp, gulp.
Glo, stay as dry as you can.
Any word from Judie since her "help?" I saw where her kitties were in a panic and hope they are able to relax soon.
Oh, has anyone gotten a phone call from PC Wizard wanting to discuss "recent problems" with anyone who has Microsoft Windows on their computers? Just wondering if this kind of call is legit...
Jo, Oh yes, I wish I had seen Aaron...I'll be working on those PC problems maybe within the next week, probably have to take the PC into the computer shop.. once someone loads it into the car for me....
Glad to hear from all of you Bragg Bunch went down to the Nationals Baseball game this evening - Tickets were free to Christine as she is part of the Red-White-Blue runners for the Wounded warriors events. Real proud of her determinations.
Got one more set of blinds installed today. For some reason, I manage to get blinds that have different means of installation, and the old brackets never work.
Spent most of the day in front of the fan with Emma. Did get the housework chores done. The heat & humidity are taking the starch out of me!
Saw Sis-in-law for a bit today. They left to go to TX to visit their son Ryan and his family for the 4th.
Glad we heard from Judie! Hang in there! This, too, shall eventually pass!
Hoda, have held you in prayer today. Prayers for that whole situation!!! Hope your American sister is continuing to improve.
Yuck, I need to go wash off all this stickiness! Hope it lasts for a little while, at least.
Prayers for all have been said. The porch light is on. Both security systems are enabled. Have SED, everyone. God bless, and goodnight. I love all of you! HAVE A WONDERFUL 4TH OF JULY!!! ♥♥Lynn♥♥ ♥♥Carolyn & Christy♥♥ I ♥ us!!!
Took photos of the LOL the first KRD Dragon Boat Team headed out to the races on Friday...they are called LOL pick your pick: Laughing out loud; Ladie of Lust; Ladies of the Lake...and it goes down hill from here. They were having a good time and I wish them well...I can not wait to go out Saturday and paddle the lake looked so welcoming I could have jumped in...
There are fireworks going off in our area also Little rude this time of the night Well at least I don't have to work tomorrow or get up early Angie is off for two days so I won't have Jordyn :-(
Well I'm calling it a day SED ♥AOYP See ya in the am ☼ at Sycamore Sunrise Cyber Cafe Bless this Nest and all ♀ ♥ ♂ whom watch it at Sycamore Palace Healing thoughts for those in need
"Be kinder than necessary, for everyone is fighting some kind of battle."
Have been hearing fireworks all week, but tonight I have not. Interesting! We are not in town, but have neighbors and they set off fireworks.
Yes, Annie is at camp and know that they will take good care of her. Poor kitty, she was mad at us. We attempted to get some of the mats out of her hair....she did not like that!!
i know it is much later than my normal posts, and i will be hitting the bed shortly.
it was a busy day....but long story short...the electric to the pool is complete!!!! hip hip, hurray!!!!
now the inspections, but likely that won't be til next week.
thank you for all the kind words on the pix and such....
laughing ..... 70% chance of rain, heavy rains, for the next 3 days....guess Mother Nature is being kind and attempting to fill my pool for me??????
HODA: thank you for your input on the Egypt situation. It is a culture I am afraid we really don't completely understand....but what I do know is there are a lot of people there who probably do not want to be in the middle of that mess! continuing to send light and love, hoping things will calm down.... Egypt is a place with which i have had a fascination for a long time..... in my wild dreams, i dream of going there....but since i am a big chicken with regards to a leaving the country, probably not in this lifetime.
hope everyone has a safe, and lovely fourth of july.....as i said, it is supposed to rain here....so i'll take the day off and chill. if it lets up, who knows!
my gal pals from va beach will be here Friday for a few days and i am looking forward to that. we see each other a couple times a year...
SED to all....holding each of you close in my heart and thoughts...
Laurel and family arrive mid afternoon. Joey is coming for the evening and then he will go home.
Bacon Pasta for dinner and then wait til 9 and go see the fireworks. Will not go to the crowd, but will get close and sit in the back of the truck. Would like to go to Fort Worth, but since we are getting up really early Friday that would not be wise.
Night all! Keeping Hoda, family and Egypt in prayer.
Funny thing, I posted at 7am and thought my post showed up on the blog. But now it seems to have disappeared! Fortunately, it showed up in my email inbox so I am copying and pasting it. here goes:
Good morning my eagle friends! Happy 4th of July!
Sky is a beautiful blue at the nest but the tree looks MT.
Sky is blue here too, and FINALLY it's supposed to stay that way for a few days! Got sprinkles at tennis yesterday and the clouds stayed til about 1pm. After that, the sun came out and it was lovely on the beach!
Wanda, I see you're back to your posts with the big white space in them! =) Have fun at GG's today! I could never imagine myself saying that the fun part of the day is fixing the food!
Hoda, I look forward to hearing your perspective on Yemen. Brian has shared some info. with us this week - nothing he has said makes me feel good about him being there.
Janet, great news on the pool progress! Enjoy your time with your friends, even though you won't be swimming!
Judie, hang in there!
Margy, glad the hand is doing OK - hope the stitches come out tomorrow.
Tennis at 9 for me. Parade in Bethany starts at noon. Mitch (brother-in-law) and the kids are going. Not sure yet if I'll join them - I'll have to see how I feel after playing tennis for 2 hours.
Good morning and Happy Fourth of July. Hope everybody enjoys their holiday. Saw a show on bald eagles - that was a Nature broadcast - this morning. Not sure when it was filmed but it was enjoyable. Worked about 11 hours yesterday and working my usual late shift today. I'll enjoy my Fourth on Sunday when I'm off work. :-) Take care all.
GOOD MORNING ☼ I deleted my comment from last night, hoping that would take care of the looooooong, empty space that I left in my wake! (I think it worked!) *********************************** Comment from last night:
Blogger Costume Lady said...
Looks like most of us had a really busy day. Got most everything done at GG'a, now the fun part will be cooking the goodies tomorrow:) I wanted to make the mac & cheese this evening, but had NO elbow macaroni! I NEVER am out of macaroni =...ha,ha,ha. I see a grocery store trip in the morning.
Good night my friends, blessings for all~♥~
It is a beautiful morning here on Gosling Marsh, hope it stays like this all day! Capt. Gene is getting ready to take the Eagle Express into GG's. He will do his part of cooking in there and entertain GG (she LOVES him!)off and on throughout the day. She is at the stage of sleeping quite a bit~ I need to get started frying some bacon. Making a dish similar to LOLLY'S bacon pasta, but I use potatoes instead of the pasta. May make macaroni salad instead of mac and cheese...better suited for a picnic.
Hope you all have an evening filled with friends/family and lots of fantastic fireworks! ~♥~
Good morning on this historical day in our USA history! I know that Freedom isn't Free and I pray for all the past, present and future acts that let's us keep our freedom.
I am just happy to be here on our blog - It certainly has sustained me over the past 7 or 8 years. I love us ♥
I did see a juvie on the branch but it has left now
Wanda...I know this Annual 4th of July Picnic is one of your and Gene's Trademarks, so to speak.... But still...don't you work those pretty hands and fingers to the bone today.... "See You Later On there " AND I did get my nails painted... red white and blue...
I have my little collection of patriotic songs CDs out and playing, combo of hymns, marches...
Wishing that Every One could have this day off work, but I know some have to... WV Jerry for example... hope YOUR Free time YOUR DAY/S is worth its weight many times over
Jo: I saw the words "Hedgesville" and "Hot Dog" in the same sentence on one of your posts Wednesday... Have fun, Honk Your Horn whenever you feel like it....in any and all parts of WV that you travel through
Good late morning (depending on one's circumstances).
Happy Anniversary to Bev and Tom. Hope it is a wonderful day.
Audrey is hiding under the bed sheet and Grace is hiding in the closet. I'm still looking for a place to hide. Oh wait, I know, HOLD THE MUSTARD, WANDA, I'm on my way. Please give Miss GG an extra hug from me.
Wishing everyone a truly wonderful day of celebrating our freedoms. I will say a prayer for the people of Egypt and think of Hoda.
I sure wish my health would allow me to go to my daughter's in Catonsville
It is within walking distance to the large Baltimore parade route with 16 marching bands and floats and other groups. They call it the largest one in MD. I love parades with bands... She promised to take some pictures.
Sharon - The blog realoly seems to have been here all my life with forever friends. I ♥ US
My sons and grandson are at my side kitchen door busy making me a set of new steps - steps that are more safe then the ones there now. Hate to think that I should have asked for a ramp for the future ♥
it is raining as they said it would. went up to about an 80% chance all day, so plans for today are postponed. think we will just have everyone over while nancy & chris (gal pals) are here.
our pool has a moat! lol. i looked out and the ditch that was dug out for the electric has water collected, so we have a moat.
this is some odd July weather....not complaining, but certainly much better than the triple digits we had last year. everything is nice and green because we have had plenty of rain. i am enjoying that part.....normally by now things are started to dry out. so thankful for the rain, although the timing, with the 4th and the pool, are kind of humorous.
hope you all have a safe and wonderful day. coming from a military family, and my husband having been navy for 20 years, no freedom isn't free. although there are many things that we need to work on as a country, we still have many many things to be thankful for...and one of those is the freedoms that we have....blessed be. everyone have a super day!
Good afternoon eagle buds sounds like everyone is getting ready for a great forth I was a lazy sleepy head and did sleep in I love my bed and my sleep LOL The sky looks magnificent at the nest so pretty white and blue Need a little red for the forth LOL Sure would be nice to see the birds today
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY TO EVERYONE!!*** & HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO BEV & TOM ☺
We had fireworks around here some last night, too. One of the cats heads for the basement. Hoda, constant prayers for you, family and home country. Thank you for the explanations. Paula, hope you get your interview on Fri. Meanwhile enjoy family at Paradise!! WANDA, WANDA, WANDA, Hope Judie and Darth do join you at GG,!!!!! JudyE, was gasping when I saw TV weather map last night. Glad you aren't flooded and have your roof fixed!!! Wish we could blow it West, where they need it. Daughter called last night and said her Jimmy invited some friends over to the unfinished house today!!!!! Guess it will be a cook out!!!At least the existing garage that survived the fire has elec. and running water! I guess they can use the pool.It has water in it, but don't know if filters are working. They need a couple more valves in the water routing system. But who will return to fix it if they didn't get paid????? Good luck on your pool, Janet! Will be back with a couple nature tails/tales! Have a great day!!
I have been waiting for something to be published nationally and just found this EAO had it on the FB page and wanted it not to be brought out until it happened so here it is They are that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to court here is the article it was filed on the 3rd

Jewels will come by for me around 5:30 and Awaaaaay we will go I think Christie might be at the picnic, and also Jewels's hubby and daughters....hope hope hope so!
JUDIE...I just finished making SUDDENLY SALAD with lots of bacon and tomatoes. I think of you (fondly)every time I make it. GG wouldn't eat hers until you ate some:)Loved that visit!!
/everything is cooked and in the fridge or warming in the crock-pot. I, on the other hand, look like I have, also, been warming in the crock-pot. Need a shower and shine and into GG's for a bit of liquid refreshment. Think I will have a G&T in memory of our Dear Lynn ~♥~ HAPPY 4TH TO YOU ALL!
I am with you in Spirit and have listened to this awesome song several times already.Thank you LORI
God Bless you all. God Bless the USA.
Thank you for your love and support and prayers.
I came for the eagles and stayed for the friendships I have made
Hot here...still in the '90's!!! Heaven help us!!!
For a whole week of rain and clouds I will not complain for being shut in even if I have to wear socks!!! LOL
JUDIE, you could come to Canada even for just the day and I promise I will find a place with air conditioning so you do not swealter...in the evening you and Darth could go paddling in a canoe or even a dragon boat???If you choose a dragon boat you will have to have the company of twenty some other people with you!!!
Oh WANDA if only you can bring THE EAGLE EXPRESS and the Captain and GG and those awesome salads you make and of course THE MOMSTERS and come out to British Columbia...
On the Road again is a song I associate with LOLLY and JACK and yet it came to mind when I thought of the Eagle Express coming out here.
I hope you and LAUREL have a terrific time with the children in Atlanta...Safe Travels LOLLY...early travels tomorrow for your family. Where are JOSEPH and JACOB?
Both boys are right here. Jacob is playing games on my ipad and Joseph is playing a game on his phone. Jack is reading his kindle and Laurel is on her ipad on fb, I think. I am on my laptop. Jack was just laughing at all of us!
LOL Yes, buying pj's helped tremendously to bake cookies.
Sandi, so sorry about your injury! Hope it heals FAST.
Safe travels Lolly!
I wonder if Judie has found a place to hide?
Jo, they started putting out chairs in Catonsville along the parade route over a week ago! What a tradition that is!
So sorry the weather is playing such a devil for so many. We went for an early early AM walk along the Gunpowder River this morning and instead of smelling like damp woods, it smelled like moldy basement! (pics on FB)
Good early evening ya'll. Rain is still falling in Nashville. Its been quiet but productive day. We've gotten several small projects handled. I did have to run out to the store but was glad to be back home.
Enjoying a quiet evening....have to work in the morning. I think fireworks are a go for Nashville, but I am not standing in the rain. I can see a lot of downtown's show from the deck, so I might do that.....
Shar, you can find me in the secret place. I'll have my napsack ready. We can head for Hoda's Hideout. Thanks! Enjoy the fireworks with Mattie and Justin.
Judie - I would have saved you but I was in WV all day and not VA
Lynne - LOL to what you said about the parade route in Catonsville -0ur Daughter has had her chairs out on the street for 2 weeks! She said no one bothers them!
My day was wonderful with lots of good food and good fellowship. Kids galore - everytime you turned around there was a different one - I loved it.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful evening. We have had a lazy and restful 4th. at our roost. Called and talked to the kids in Texas. They went to a movie, and barbecued. It was SO good to talk to them! We had ravioli and a big tossed salad for dinner.
Spent much of the day watching the NCIS marathon on TV. We love that show!
Lolly, enjoy your trip! I'm sure you will have a great time.
I bet there's quite a nice party going on at GG's. Can't wait to hear about it!
Judie, I bet you and the kitties will be celebrating your independence tomorrow afternoon! Hang in there!
I'm seriously sleepy tonight (must be the heat & humidity), so am going to call it a day. Will probably wake up later to the sound of the fireworks at Disneyland and maybe Angels Stadium. Have said prayers for everyone. The porch light is on. Both security systems are enabled. Goodnight and God bless! I love all of you! ♥♥Lynn♥♥ ♥♥Carolyn & Christy♥♥ I ♥ us!!!
We are home from the fireworks. They were great but best of all the temperature was awesome sitting out. 84 and low humidity. Amazing! It was almost cool!!
Boys are going to bed and we will be up early and away. We will be home late next Wednesday. I will attempt to get on but we will be busy.
My goodness, I just typed a comment and it disappeared! To repeat some of it...the picnic and fireworks were wonderful...I think our best ever! I posted some photos on my blog: WANDA'S WISHES. Some of the photos did not show up...don't know why, but I mainly wanted you to see Margy's red, white and blue nails, just as HODA asked:) Check her out! Carolyn is pictured there, also. Sleep well, blessings for all ~♥~
We had a day of rest at our roost. The males went looking for some fish. I read. Can get more read when there are no interruptions.
Really tired tonight so I'll head to my recliner and go to sleep. Sandman can skip me this time
Goodnight Jo, Wanda, Paula, ,Lolly, Hoda, sandi, Suzan, Lori, Janet, Lynne, with a special hug for GG.and anyone else wandering around the blog. And, last, but not least...... Goodnight John Boy. Love us. SED
Good Friday morning my eagle friends! Looking at an MT nest and tree on the camera. Glad to hear that folks still saw the kids arriving and departing yesterday.
Lolly, safe travels to GA today!
Hoda, thanks for the email.
As many of you know, there will be no morning tennis for me for a few weeks. I strained a tendon in my calf - had the same injury about 2 years ago so I knew exactly what it was when it happened. It feels better today than the day after I injured it the last time. Either the pull/strain isn't as bad or I did a better job of taking care of it right away this time. I wrapped it with an Ace bandage, took ibuprofin every 4 hours, and spent the day with my leg elevated and with ice on my calf.
I did miss the Bethany Beach parade b/c I couldn't ride my bike into town and I missed the fireworks - watched the Macy's display on TV instead.
Headed back to the beach today - after 4 cloudy days (Sun - Wed), yesterday was picture perfect and the next couple are supposed to be sunny and hot.
quick good morning to all. still rainy here in nashville and will be for the next 3 days or so. it only reached 68 yesterday.....nice break from the 90's.
i enjoyed our quiet day yesterday. didn't seem like the 4th, but enjoyed it just the same.
work today. then gal pals will arrive this afternoon! they will be here for several days.
hope everyone has a lovely day. light, love, smiles, hugs to all....
Having coffee and trying to catch up on everyone's activities.
Thought I would have a quiet evening alone as everyone else had plans. But Rus called to find out what we were doing.
Kathryn and Hunter decided to make a quick visit to the cookout they were planning to attend, and then come back home.
I made a quick trip to the grocery store.
Carla from next door stopped by with her Chinese dinner. Her house has sold. Her husband has gone to Tennessee and her her son and the cat (Pepsi) are at grandma's.
We had a late cook-out--things did not settle down until after 11:00.
Fireworks were provided by the neighborhood. There was an amazing display bursting right over our backyard.
Carla's Chinese dinner has been saved for another day.
Oh, and we found out that Carla is expecting a little girl in November. Prayers and good wishes for her. She's had two miscarriages, but I think she has gone past the critical time now.
LOLLY, safe travels for you and the family today. Must admit CC Cookies and margaritas sounded pretty good!
WANDA, glad everyone had a great time last night. Sorry JUDIE couldn't make it.
JUDIE, the hours are counting down. I'll have a big smile ready for you at 1:00 when you're a free woman again! You did it!
SANDI, so sorry to hear about your injury. I kept reading about it and thought I missed your post. Guess the others saw it on FB. Hope you are feeling better today. Take care of yourself. Let the others help you today!
PAULA, keep up posted on the interview today! I'll be waiting to hear from you.
SHIRLEY, glad you didn't have to spend the night alone, and you got a visit from Pepsi's Mom! Congrats to her on the baby!
MARGY, good luck at the doctor today. Hope he takes your stitches out but gives you another week off work! :)
HODA, hoping your weather cools down today and you get a chance to ride your bike to somewhere cool!
JUDYE, thanks for the link about the lawsuit for the eagles in Norfolk! Hope they win! What a silly waste of time that has been trying to take down all those nests only to have the eagles rebuild!
JANET, love the idea of a moat around your pool! Have a great day with the gal pals!
KAY, what did you end up doing last night? I hope it was great and with family. When does Malcolm arrive for the family vacation?
JO, how are the new steps coming along. I feel it'll be a long time before you need a ramp!
LORETTA, don't know if you're working or not today, but it's going to be near 90, so I hope you get to stay inside and only venture out to take some wonderful pictures.
SHARON, how was your fireworks show with the kids last night? How is your leg doing?
I'm debating on what to do today. Poor Kate had to work, but the traffic should be light today. I'm considering studying, or pressure washing the deck to get it ready to be stained again. Whoa, loads of fun here! LOL.
Hoping everyone had a fabulous day with lots of love, light, smiles and joy in your heart!
Good morn! Sing along with me.....On the road again! We got away at 7 . Wish it had been earlier, oh well. Drinking coffee and eating little sausage sandwiches made with homemade bread.
GOOD MORNING ☼ Went out like a light, last night...slept til 8:30. Seems like 6 hours is my "needed" amount of sleep. I am able to function all day without a panda nap with those 6 hours. Any longer than that and I feel drugged!
LORI, we are also trying to re-stain our deck. Capt. Gene power washed it last Fall, but we haven't gotten around to the 'stain' part yet. We have so many interruptions in our life, that we can never seem to get a BIG project done! We have decided to stain a section at a time. Deck is 24ft. x 24ft. (something like that), so it takes a lot of time and energy. We are going to try rollers, this time and see how that works.
SHIRLEY, Suddenly Salad is one of GG's favorite dishes. Once, while Judie was up for a NCTC visit, I took her to GG's, along with some SS and GG wouldn't eat hers until Judie agreed to eat some also:) Must have been her first time eating it because she said she was going to make some:) It was such a nice visit~
Oh my goodness, safe travels Lolly even if I don't know where you all are headed and Shirley, I also heard that an arrest was made in the smash and grab - might be linked to earlier robberies, and Lori tackle the deck first and enjoy.
I failed to mention that when everyone arrived at the picnic, last evening, we all (except Jennifer) had a G&T toast in memory of our dear LYNN (one of her favorite cocktails). Key Lime pie was one of her favorite desserts, so MARGY brought Key Lime cupcakes. GG spoke of LYNN to Carolyn and told her what a wonderful person she thought she was and remembered that she had passed. Her memory is quite good, most of the time!
FACEBOOK PASSWORD is now changed...hope hackers will not bother me anymore. I'm wondering HOW do they manage to get your password?! Not much of a problem to change it, once I found out where to go to do that! Remember when my blog: WILD AND WONDERFUL was hacked? What a lot of DELETING that was!
SHIRLEY, GG likes the 'Bacon-Ranch' SS. I put cherry or grape tomatoes and pieces of bacon in it, along with little cheese chunks and a few olives. GG likes it this way, but I noticed that she picked the olives out of it this time:)?

So good to see you typing away tonight, Margy.

Interview shoould be tomorrow
Headingback to Paradise tom afg/eve
SED love annd hugs for all
I think Judie was pulling a Lynne what with her mysterious post.
Hoda, you are having the weather we have all the time. Hang in there!
Break a leg, Paula.
Spent too much time hanging blinds in Kathryn's room today. I still need to put some up in Hunter's room and my room. Kathryns's were destroyed by a cat. Hunter's and mine are just worn out.
Tomorrow I get my do done and we take Annie to camp. She has to go tomorrow as they are closed Thursday and we leave really early Friday.
I didn't read closely all the comments of this evening - I am really running late getting to my pillows.
Judie - hang in there!
Many comments I would like to make but I am going to do a face plant...
Goodnight to All ♥
Good night JO
Thank you very much for today and your friendship.
♥ ♥ ♥ you are one special Lady you are. Thank you very much.
I cannot get to the next page...
so I'll see if I can when I post
about bedtime here for me
understand about the hot weather food fare, Hoda...
makes perfect sense...
Shirley...the slowdown on this
computer is helping me get
plenty of rest between posts !
:)
Good Night, Precious Pals,
Hope is Especially Sweeeeet
Kay: Late wish: Happy 19th Birthday to your grandson Seth
Prayers for all our many needs...
God Bless Us,
Every One xoxo
Night all! SED!!
Enjoy your rest, Margy, but I hope your computer wakes up.
Time for me to say good night. Rest well, everyone. Stay cool.
Good night and prayers for all~♥~
Goodnight WANDA.
Goodnight
PRAYERS♥
I'm back!
Shirley, how scary for Susan!!
Have a great day all!!
Good Morning Eagle Buds
Morning al
Finally going to fish today
Interview is a phone interview
Job is near my paradise
Have a great day...time to load the boat
Good Morning Eagle Pals...
Pretty overcast here in Martinsburg...
but I guess that is blue sky at
the Royal Sycamore ....
nest looks empty to me also right now
Sure is nice to see your posts...
sometimes I have had good
success with a Comcast technician
walk me through some fixes
on email...sometimes I can send and not receive, and sometimes
the other way around....
But either soway for you: HOPE IT GETS FIXED SOON !!
xo on the to day here abouts...
Best Wishes for a Very Good Day,
for Every One
xo
Load, Load, Load the Boat
Gently down the Stream [to Paradise}
and so on like that
Have a Good Day Paula...
wow, a job near Paradise, that
just about says it all !
xo
Good Wednesday Morning Everyone!
Friday it is....or supposed to be if the doctor
thinks it's time...
Understand about staying home
at the 4th....for your home placde and your furbbabies....
typically I cannot stand those random neighborhood fireworks....starts before the 4th and goes on after the 4th....
These near GG's are the professional ones and very very nice...sometimes they get postponed a night or two for weather or other things...
but we always have a great time
anyway !
xo got some details to attend to...
GOOD MORNING ☼
Anyway, he will be at the picnic and you and he can compare pain and scars;)
Hope your surgery does what you and your doctor hoped for!
THEN there were two or three
somewhat distant cousins of Darth
coming to visit for...several days...
Judie had not met these "visitors"
so....
things were up in the air
about how all that was going to go...
first day was OK..
Tues was the second day...
well, maybe it was not so great
okay 'bye !!
Be Careful, All
Happy 4th of July Eve to my eagles watching buddies.
Good Wonderful Wednesday Morning to All
Rain here this morning hours - I am hoping that it is reaching to Sharpsburg to Megan's gardens!
N o special plans for today - Tomorrow the fourth I will be in Hedgesville for a Hot Dog get together and some fireworks.
Please remember to keep your pets in away from all the firecracker noise!
Good idea to board her at the vet's, Lolly.
Interesting name for a drink, Wanda. I was trying to find Kay an answer for a puzzle she was working on.
News reports say there is a full-fledged coup in Egypt right now.
Good Afternoon Eagle Buds !
Have a happy, safe 4th y'all !
Love and prayers ! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Aha, JUDIE, what a relief to hear from you---we were about to send a posse` out there to check on you. Oh, boy, you know what they say about company and fish...sounds like you agree ! ☺
How does that double post thing happen ? No trashcan so I can't remove one of them. :o(
Oops, spoke too soon---trashcans appeared after the fact. Sorry guys !
Drat! Had typed a bit then hit something and it was all erased!
Do done! Now starting to pack. Taking only shorts and capris so the suitcase will be light!
Glad to see Judie taking a moment to peek in. Yikes...we are going to be company. Will we be like fish? roflmbo
Morsy has been ousted in Egypt.
Thinking of Hoda and sending love her way.
Going to TV to watch news.... :(
Well Jo!

Oh
I have the nest up but have only seen unidentified flying objects
whizz past
Stopping by to wish all of you a happy and safe 4th. For some strange reason The west is so very hot and the east is so very wet and IL is so just right now its strange to me. BUT our fireworks have been moved up off the parks along the river because well the river is in the parks on both IL and Ia side so we have had our share last week and the months before.
GLUB

Hi Glo !
One of the craziest weather years
ever....hereabouts...in recent memory that is....
I'm headed out to my little garden for a little bit....
Seemed all day that we would get more rain than we actually DID get...today...so far
CHECK OUT GOOGLE TODAY ALSO
That's a shame Margy - I'm sure Aaron could have told you what your keyboard problem is about and even given you a quick fix for it ♥
I haven't seen any adult or juvie at the nest so far when I've looked today.
Paula - I pray the phone call interview snags the job!
Good Afternoon everyone...
I ♥ US.
Safe travels LOLLY and JACK and LAUREL.
Waiting eagerly to hear from PAULA on her phone interview today. Thank you for clarifying that it is closer to your paradise PAULA.

Back in My Paradise..
((hugs))
Hoda, I read to Jack your comments. We are very interested in what you have to share.
Good 4th of July eve.
Hope everyone has a safe fire cracker fourth.
Will check back later.
Hi there PA NANA Diann....
Judie checked in at 1:58 pm...
I had typed a synopsis but got
kicked off the connection...
Day Three is over, Two to Go...
"exhausting" and she had a few other things to say.....
Happy Independence Day in Advance....
Oh, has anyone gotten a phone call from PC Wizard wanting to discuss
"recent problems" with anyone
who has Microsoft Windows on their
computers? Just wondering if
this kind of call is legit...
Jo, Oh yes, I wish I had seen Aaron...I'll be working on
those PC problems maybe within the next week, probably have to take the PC into the computer shop..
once someone loads it into the car for me....
Glad to hear from all of you
Bragg Bunch went down to the Nationals Baseball game this evening - Tickets were free to Christine as she is part of the Red-White-Blue runners for the Wounded warriors events. Real proud of her determinations.
Thank you Hoda for all your comments and your views. Helps me to understand all of this a bit better.
Glad Judie only has 2 more days of house guests. I hope she is writing her book!
I am going to close down early this evening.
Good night to all
I ♥ us a whole bunch!

Glad you're at the Paradise, Paula...bummer the electrician
did not take care of the breaker/meter problem yet....
WOOF !!!
Lolly, your report on the house-sitter/pot-waterer Andrea...kind of reminds me of when I was at THE BIG HOUSE last year....
ttfn xoxoxox
'Night-night, Jo....
very good to hear of Christine's endeavors....
and some of the Fun things that
can come from that kind of
service to others
(( Hugs ))
Okay, our neighbors have just decided to set off fireworks at 10:20 PM. Good grief.
The other night they set off an explosion that was so loud it sounded like dynamite.
Got one more set of blinds installed today. For some reason, I manage to get blinds that have different means of installation, and the old brackets never work.
Hunter is taking Luna to his room tonight. She does not like the fireworks. Poor Luna can't see and she gets upset by the loud noises.
At least she doesn't do what Sassafras did. She would walk around the house peeing.
Nick doesn't like the fireworks either...I take him inside
Heard about coup in Egypt...will read Hoda's. Comments later when I catch up
House all clean...waiting for Michael and Laura to arrive :)
Good Evening!

Thank you all again for listening to me and I appreciate very much your listening.
Enjoy the weekend with MICHAEL and LAURA PAULA...Hope to hear about the phone interview soon...also that the electrician arrives.
Oh SHIRLEY I know exactly how you feel about the fire crackers at night...they seem to sound louder...we had our share for the 1st of JuLY Canada Day.
Thank you ANDY...yes she is doing better and not in as much pain with the cutting back on the medication.
Glad you had a good visit too ANDY...

almost the 4th of July in 45 more minutes.
Have been hearing fireworks all week, but tonight I have not. Interesting! We are not in town, but have neighbors and they set off fireworks.
Yes, Annie is at camp and know that they will take good care of her. Poor kitty, she was mad at us. We attempted to get some of the mats out of her hair....she did not like that!!
good late evening my friends.
i know it is much later than my normal posts, and i will be hitting the bed shortly.
it was a busy day....but long story short...the electric to the pool is complete!!!! hip hip, hurray!!!!
now the inspections, but likely that won't be til next week.
thank you for all the kind words on the pix and such....
laughing .....
Tomorrow morning is mowing and watering pots.
SED!!!!
Good Night, Eagle Pals...

Juvie just landed high in the tree! Beautiful landing! Hello Hedgie/Shammie!
Have a good day all!
Good Fourth of July Morning!!!
JANET, sorry your pool won't be done in time for your VA Beach friends -- but soonn enough, I guess. I wish you a great time with them.
PAULA, hope you get your electrical fixed and your phone call for the interview tomorrow. Enjoy your time with the kids.
WANDA, Happy party day at GG's!
HODA, loved the LOL name of the ladies DBR team! Very funny. Thanks for sharing. Wish you were in the US to celebrate Independence Day with us!
SANDI, enjoy your tennis and the parade. How's your weather over there?
WVJERRY, so nice to see you again. Glad you got to see some eagles even if it was on tv!
JUDYE, Happy day off!!! Perfect timing!
SHIRLEY, what are your plans for today/tonight? Did I miss that?
JUDIE, just one more day to go and I have complete faith you can do it.
KAY, are you doing the Fourth tonight with Julie and family?
JO, wishing you and the family a great time in Hedgesville today!
DIANN, Hope you have a great day and a great time whatever you choose to do tonight.
Wishing everyone a GREAT Fourth of July! Be safe. Lot's of love, safety and joy!
Think I'll be staying home tonight, as usual on the 4th of July...protecting the home and animals.
LOLLY, have a great time tonight, and on your trip to Atlanta.
GOOD MORNING ☼
I deleted my comment from last night, hoping that would take care of the looooooong, empty space that I left in my wake! (I think it worked!)

She is at the stage of sleeping quite a bit~
I need to get started frying some bacon.
I love us ♥

Good morning,
Happy July 4th to everyone.

Hate to think that I should have asked for a ramp for the future ♥
good morning and happy independence day to all.
happy anniversary to bev & tom!
it is raining as they said it would. went up to about an 80% chance all day, so plans for today are postponed. think we will just have everyone over while nancy & chris (gal pals) are here.
our pool has a moat! lol. i looked out and the ditch that was dug out for the electric has water collected, so we have a moat.
this is some odd July weather....not complaining, but certainly much better than the triple digits we had last year. everything is nice and green because we have had plenty of rain. i am enjoying that part.....normally by now things are started to dry out. so thankful for the rain, although the timing, with the 4th and the pool, are kind of humorous.
hope you all have a safe and wonderful day. coming from a military family, and my husband having been navy for 20 years, no freedom isn't free. although there are many things that we need to work on as a country, we still have many many things to be thankful for...and one of those is the freedoms that we have....blessed be. everyone have a super day!

Happy and Safe 4th of July everyone.
Hoda, thinking of you and your family.
I have lurked here since 2008.And have valued every word and camera view!
I have been waiting for something to be published nationally and just found this EAO had it on the FB page and wanted it not to be brought out until it happened so here it is They are that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to court here is the article it was filed on the 3rd
A local environmental advocacy group filed a lawsuit Wednesday against the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in an effort to halt the removal of bald eagle nests near Norfolk International Airport.
The are taking the US Fish and Wildlife Service to court is what that should have said above the WorD THAT makes no sense OOPS

HAPPY 4TH TO YOU ALL!
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY ALL
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!

God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife.
Who more than self their country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
America! America!
God shed His grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood

Oh WANDA if only you can bring THE EAGLE EXPRESS and the Captain and GG and those awesome salads you make and of course THE MOMSTERS and come out to British Columbia...
On the Road again is a song I associate with LOLLY and JACK and yet it came to mind when I thought of the Eagle Express coming out here.
Laurel and I ran into town. Bought her some new PJ's and now she is baking choc chip cookies. Also we are having liquid refreshment...Margaritas!!
Happy Independence Day y'all!
♫♪ HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA!♫♪
Lolly, had to laugh reading your post about the pjs. Didn't know
new pjs help to bake cc cookies.;-)
Wishing I lived closer to Wanda. That food sounds scrumptious! Have a good time.
Judie, you know where that secret place is. Time for a trip, huh?
Sandi, sorry about your injury. Played tennis in high school (a century ago) and still wish I could volley that ball. Hope it heals fast.
Have to read back further to comment more, but hope all have had a great day!
Yes, we hope to be off by 6 tomorrow. Will eat breakfast in the car.
Juvie is in the attic
God Bless your Family LOLLY and JACK...Glad to hear about JOSEPH and JACOB.
Later ya'll. :)
POOF the juvie goes
Poof hoda goes!!!
Off to yoga!

Hotter than you know what!!!
Wilting away!!!

I want to see Miss GG and eat Suddenly Salad.
I want to go dragon boating with Hoda & Co.
I want to go to the parade with Jo.
I need to go to the secret place where no one can find me.
I want to ESCAPE!
If I do not return, you will know I committed selfacide.
Help!
Sounds as if everyone has had/will have an enjoyable 4th in celebration of our freedoms.
Dinner is history. Visitors will be history at 1pm tomorrow.
Hoping everyone can enjoy some firecrackers. Will try to stay awake and watch the National celebration on t.v. This is seriously a 4th to remember.
Love and hugs to all♥
Judie, let me know where I can find you and I will drive the getaway vehicle! Love and hugs!!!
Mattie, Justin and I are going to fireworks tonight if we don't get rained out.
I see juvie is still in attic after I got the puter back up after light flashed from the storm outside
Shar, you can find me in the secret place. I'll have my napsack ready. We can head for Hoda's Hideout. Thanks! Enjoy the fireworks with Mattie and Justin.
POOF JUVIE DOWN TO THE LEFT
Good Evening - The Boomers are about to begin!
Lolly - have a great trip ♥
I am anxious to hear from Margy or Carolyn since they both went to Wanda's.
However; I am saying now Goodnight.

I ♥ us!!!
We are home from the fireworks. They were great but best of all the temperature was awesome sitting out. 84 and low humidity. Amazing! It was almost cool!!
Boys are going to bed and we will be up early and away. We will be home late next Wednesday. I will attempt to get on but we will be busy.
See ya when I see ya!!!
Love to all!
SED!!!
Well my secret place is a cool place and I must seriously get myself there to meet the getaway car driven by SHAR and JUDIE!!!
I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO done with ninety degree weather...eighty too..I want it to be in upper sixties or low seventies...
Wilted yoga practice...6 fans going and we had an easy practice and I was drip drip dripping away.
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY EVERYONE
Goodnight
PRAYERS♥
Have a great day all!
Wanda, glad to hear about the cookout yesterday - thanks for posting the pics!
Judie, you made it! Today, you and Darth and the girls get your house back to yourselves so you can really enjoy the new improvements!
quick good morning to all. still rainy here in nashville and will be for the next 3 days or so. it only reached 68 yesterday.....nice break from the 90's.
i enjoyed our quiet day yesterday. didn't seem like the 4th, but enjoyed it just the same.
work today. then gal pals will arrive this afternoon! they will be here for several days.
hope everyone has a lovely day. light, love, smiles, hugs to all....
Juvie high up in the tree. Didn't see him/her land.
Good morning,
Having coffee and trying to catch up on everyone's activities.
So very nice to have our Wanda back.
I noticed a mention of Suddenly Salad. Good stuff.
Kathryn said the radio reports an arrest in the smash-and-grab. Will try to find out more.
Beautiful blue sky at the Sycamore Palace. I don't see any of the royal family at the moment.
Good Red Friday Morning Everyone!
I'll peek in occassionly! Have a great day!
Lol. Lori, you made me smile! I would go for the deck! That is if the weather is pleasant!
Good morning - and it is indeed!
To paraphrase: Almost free at last, almost free at last, great diety of houseguests, we are almost free at last.
Yes, 1pm is the departure time for the airport. Coincidentally, the sun is shining brightly here.
I will try to catch up. Glad everyone seems to have had a good day of family and celebration.
Have a wonderful morning. BBL
GOOD MORNING ☼
Went out like a light, last night...slept til 8:30.
Bye
I failed to mention that when everyone arrived at the picnic, last evening, we all (except Jennifer) had a G&T toast in memory of our dear LYNN (one of her favorite cocktails). Key Lime pie was one of her favorite desserts, so MARGY brought Key Lime cupcakes.
GG spoke of LYNN to Carolyn and told her what a wonderful person she thought she was and remembered that she had passed. Her memory is quite good, most of the time!
Wanda, posts keep coming up on Facebook that looks like they are from you. You might want to change your password.
Thanks, Sharon...I'm not quite sure how to go about that. Headed there now to try...
Arrests in Smash-and Grab
Arrests have been made. It seems there have been several previous incidents not publicized.
Oh, I see Judie, our resident sleuth, has already noted the arrests.
Suddenly Salad is one of Hunter's favorite foods.
Already too hot to start the deck, so I think I'll make it a weekend project and know I must start early!
Books are not really calling my name at the moment either...maybe a nap will do the trick. :)
It's very humid outside.
WANDA, glad you got your FB stuff all squared away! And, it's so nice to have you back on the blog! Big Hug!
Oh my I must hurry and say HELLO
Only a few more comments and we split
Would like a fresh thread
Phone call just came in I have a feeling you all have split.........
On FB I saw pics from Wanda's 4th
Think of Margy getting stitches out I hope.
