Yay! So glad to see that Margy is home and doing well.

Oh my, Hoda. Those pictures and videos are really impressive. Scary and sad. I have seen some stories about the flooding on the news here. Stay safe, Hoda.

It is good the rain has stopped here. We were getting too much water, but nothing like that.

Time for closing down - Paula I bet you are seeing an awesome moon over the water! ♥

SAD NEWS FROM BLACKWATER OSPREY

Nest Update 06/21/13:
Our sole chick didn't make it. We know our parents are inexperienced, but it might also have been the chick's health. He never looked terribly active in sitting up and moving around, so it's possible he had underlying health issues. It's too late for a 2nd clutch, so we'll have to hope for a better season next year.

Good Saturday morning my eagle friends!!

Margy, glad you were feeling well enough yesterday to hop on the blog when you got home after surgery! Prayers for a speedy and pain-free recovery!

Jo, I know you are happy to have more family members close by, even if it's only temporary. Is there any chance they might stay in MD?? Michael leaves for Haiti today, right? He must be SO excited!!

Madeline & Michael brought their metal detectors and took a walk on the beach last night - no treasure found.

Tennis this morning and then off to the beach for the day. Sure hope it's warmer than yesterday. It was sunny and nice but too chilly for me on the beach.

Have a good one - need to check out Loretta's latest pics.

Juvie is still on the branch.

Just saw a FLY BY of a HUGE bird out of corner of eye I wonder if it was another eagle

Good morning Judy and Shirley!

Loretta, loved the pics! Have never seen a cedar waxwing in person - what a pretty bird!

JUVIE is still in ATTIC

Wow - same branch, but a different eagle! Now there's an adult up there with the sun shining on those white feathers!

♪♫ Jingle Nick, Jingle Nick, Jingle on the beach ♪♫ Amazing.

Saddened about the Blackwater osprey.

Need to check Lowreeda's nook.

Adult looking beauteous at our nest tree.

Saying a prayer for the Canadian flood victims. Stay safe, Hoda.

Michael is leaving for Haiti today? I know everyone will be as excited to see him as he is to be going.

The Merry Marylanders. Cool. Hope it will be permanent.

Off for more reconstruction. Downstairs today.

Just saw an eagle take off from the nest from the left and then an eagle flew in from the right. Not sure if it was the same eagle, but someone is currently in the nest! Hard to see anything in the nest area.

Off to tennis - later!

Good Saturday Morning Eagle Friends!

JO, so glad you have more of your family nearby, now! Bet you are very happy. Please tell Michael I said safe travels and have a great trip. How long will he be there?

SANDI, my Dad used to take his metal detectors every where we went. It was always fun to see what you could find. Good luck at tennis today and have fun on the beach.

HODA, so glad you are safe in Nelson and the floods haven't hit your area! Big Hugs!

LORETTA, slowly but surely, I'm making my way to your blog so I can see those beautiful pics everyone it talking about. :)

MARGY, how is your hand feeling this morning? I hope you're not in any pain, but do be careful!

PAULA, have a great weekend in Paradise?

SHIRLEY, what's on your agenda this weekend?

JUDYE, sorry it's back to work today, but I hope it's a great one.

JANET, I hope you're feeling better and not so exhausted. How is Tom doing now?

Wishing everyone a fabulous day!
