Happy Birthday Buphals - Wishing you many more doggie years
I will tell him Mema Jo!!! Love and hugs!
Good morning! Not only is it Buphal's birthday, but it also the birthday of Kellie, my nephews wife. Brett took her to the hospital to labor and delivery two hours ago in San Antonio. Looks like she is going to share her birthday with her new daughter. Anxiously awaiting to hear of her arrival. They have two other children, Shelbie almost 14 and Talon, 3. Do not know this baby's name but know it is a girl.Could not believe my eyes when I saw that we did not have a cam. This is not the time for things to break down! Thanks for the efforts to get it back up!
Lolly, Talon is already 3 ????????I remember your announcing his birth due to his name of Talon! I have a foot dr appointment today - just the maintenance of my nails. Insurance pays due to my diabetes...
Morning all,Appears the cam needs to be added to the URGENT prayer list.Down right chilly here. Weatherman says its Junetober.Wishing everyone a good day however they need to spend it.
Good morning,Still just barely morning. Sugar for hiccups--yes! I started doing that when the children were little. Even recommended it to the pediatrician, and he liked it so much, he recommended it to other parents. Happy birthday Buphal! And a very happy birthday to Kellie and her new little girl.
Been running about paying bills today.

Today would have been Donna's 65th birthday. We chose her birthday as Buphals birthday because I didn't know exactly when he was born.
That is very lovingly specialSharon ♥Heavenly Birthday Wishes to Donna....xo (( Hugs )) ♥
Good Afternoon, Eaglebuds. So sorry there are cam troubles. I got a capture of both peaglets yesterday before noon. One had a white tailtip. Couldn't see the other. They're so big!In honor of Isla, Lady of the Lochs' first chick, I concocted a new pic! But maybe it's a boy! Duh! I have to ask an expert.Very busy at Park Saturday.I just heard some sad news that if you haven't seen any 17 yr. cicadas yet, you won't!!!I was all ready, even bought a new net!I wonder what happened? They were here in '96, laid eggs, so why no hatching???? I swear I've heard them singing in the woods behind my neighbor's garage across the street! Even had a lady from VA call Park to see if we had camping available and NO cicadas. She thought she would cancel her VA camping!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL CELEBRATING TODAY!!!!
Loretta, YourAvatar Creation is Adorable...☺♥Well, Shirley has been hearing the cicadas....I know we won't get them around hereuntil 2020...or something like that.I don't understand, exactly.Maybe the weather has been so weird it has affected them also!
I've return from the foot dr and I am walking well. No cam up/running yet :(I guess it's not a simple fixStay with it Clay! ♥
8 lbs 1 oz....my new great niece!! I have already been texted a picture. Once they share the pic on fb then I will share. Do not want to get ahead of mom and dad! She is beautiful and looks a lot like Talon. JO, I figured some of you might remember when Talon was born. Yes, time is flying by! Still no name for this little one.We have the AC back on but slept without it last night. It got down to 63....wonderful sleeping weather!
STILL CAM IS UPGOING TO CHECK OUT THE LIVE FEEDthey are waiting on US
Live feed not up/running yetWon't be long
So many celebrations today! Congratulations to LOLLY, JUDYE, BUPHALS and all!
Good afternoon all! Yikes, it is POURING the RAIN out there today!! At least here on the very east coast of DE it is!!Jo, thanks for the tip about the still cam - better than nothing!! Nest looks dry.Lolly, congrats on the new grand niece!!
Loretta, we could send you some cicadas and not even miss them. I had at least five smash into my car when I was out driving around today. They are interesting. I truly do not remember seeing so many ever before.
I have tried to record the sound, but don't think I have picked it up yet. However, it is hard to listen for them in a recording when they are so loud outdoors.
People say their dogs and cats are eating the cicadas. Not sure about what Luna was doing this morning. She went way to the back of the yard and was doing something. Maybe a nice snack. Hunter said he saw a robin grab one in mid-flight. I am sure it is a banquet for them. I think we have at least one mockingbird nest in the front yard. I went to investigate, and the mockingbird objected loudly to my presence. They are truly protective parents, so I backed away. Maybe I will try a video in a bit. Wondering if there is a nest on both sides . . . that could get exciting. They might take over the whole front yard.
Memories/ in remeberance and new births/ and four legged's special day in memory of a PRECIOUS SISTER/ Graduation and three years ago to sweet children were born on the same day...Blessed Be...Life is good.No cam but they are working on it and that is terrific that we can still watch on the still cam.JO glad the foot treatment went well and that you are well with it.Looking forward to JUDIE's report on the carpet store trip and paint match...rode my bicycle and beat the rain. the fund raiser on the 17th is demanding a lot of attention now. I approached five stores and between them we should be able to get all of our grocery list donated for us to cook an African Feast. This time it is for the slums of Nairobi Kenya. There is such a disparity in levels of income in the world. When I hear about depraved misguided people who commit unthinkable crimes in the west I always wonder what depraved childhoods they must have had...maybe they simply can not reconcile it with the abundance here...so they hide behind misguided violent ideologies!!! I do not know I am thinking out loud. Any way I am involved in trying to raise money for arts and education and an activity centre for the youth in Nairobi Kenya...The children look sweet.
happy bday buphal...happy graduation day to jordyn!!and happy day to us all! just checking in to see how everyone is. loved getting a cam update.....we sure are well taken care of in that dept. had a great day at work. got a massage after to get rid of a nasty headache that i work up with....hope everyone has a pleasant evening! :)
LORI, I only went without groceries for a week. I could have gone two weeks there is enough food in the flat...I did run out of fresh vegetables and only had the sprouted seeds for that department. I also ran out of fresh fruit...I learnt a lot from the experience.Gratitude is the top most thing in my life.Tomorrow I will ride my bicycle to the optometrist and then go for tea with a friend. I hope I beat the rain like I did today...my appointment is in the morning so I should be alright. Regular six month check up on macular degeneration and on cataract forming...My sight is no longer 20/20 but I see well enough and have pereferal vision...don't much like the floaters and peridically by eye balls hurt and I get light sensitivity...I have to tell him about all that...Will keep you posted.
*periodically my eye balls* correctionSHAR glad you are tending to your back and yes I hope it improves soon.
Evening, all!Home safe and sound. At least the still cam is on.

the still captured hopping down from balcony
Good evening to everyone.Exhausted is the word. Seems to me that colors should just be colors and not go changing all about depending on where they are located. Stupid colors! Narrowed down some options. Have asked the paint lady to return to give advice. So, painters next week and carpet the week following, and strangers the week following.Think I may take a Dragon Boat ride to B.C. and eat a whole bunch of brownies. Ahhhhh, tranquility!I'll keep up as best I can. Hope to catch another glimpse of Hedgie and Shamrock before they leave us.Hope everyone is okay. Sandperson will be leaving here at 11pm. Restful sleep for all.
Thunder storm going on...might have to shut down.See you all later if the power cuts off
That is terrific JUDIE...The Dragon boaters would love to have you visit...I will start baking brownies. I understand they need to sit a week or two to be at peak tranquility...LOL
Hi,Missing the live cam. Kathryn sold her old vehicle today. It has been sitting in the driveway along with her new one.
Judie - Still cam is up/running if you want to see the juvies. Here's hoping you get all the help you need to coordinate your colors. It is one job I am not good at doing.
You are looking at some busy days ahead, Judie, but you are going to enjoy the results.
Evening all. I see our "kids" are safely in the nest for another night. Hope the cam issue is resolved soon.Just got news that my son is hospitalized again with pancreatitis. Prayer for your sun GRANNYBLT... Healing prayers and Light.Missing LINDA on the blog and on FB too for that matter. I like her prayers.
Time for me to go upstairs for the night. Happy that Kathryn has sold her car. Figured the guy was serious about buying it when he showed up with a big truck to carry it away. It needs serious transmission work, but is a very nice vehicle. He fixes cars and resells them.
Linda does have nice prayers, doesn't she, Hoda?
LOLLY you will never get old!!! No such thing in your futut you are too vibrant and involved and the Grand Kids will keep you on your toes...You will be a young 90 year old I can see it now!!! You and WANDA will continue to paint your toe nails...I rather suspect DANA and PAULA too will be doing toe nails at 90!!!
I think so too SHIRLEY... Sleep well. Glad KATHRYN sold her car...See you tomorrow.
LOL Hoda! I might have to get Jack to bend and paint the tootsies at 90. But, yes, if I stop painting the tootsies you will know I am OLD. :)
Laughing LOLLY!I bought some swedish rye crackers today. They are delicious with goat feta cheese!
Watched some TV with hubby this evening. Hopefully our juvies will still be in the nest tomorrow morning but this is the week that they should be heading out. The nest is such a shambles and looks as though it is getting smaller with the sides torn down. It's been a good season with 2 very compatible eaglets!
Good night everyone - have a restful sleep with peaceful dreams.Prayers for all....... ♥
Yes JO in regards the season and the nest and the awesome juvies that we have had the privilege to watch. Blessings to you JO and sleep well.
Just so very thankful to have a season with not much drama. Do NOT like eagle drama!!!Love feta cheese! Bought some today. Going to fix a shrimp dinner tomorrow night and I will need the feta for that. Tonight was salmon, but Wed night we are going out to eat! Wahooo! We seldom go out but enjoy it went we do. Going to our favorite restaurant Nonna Totas!!!Time to start getting ready for the end of the day.Night all!(HODA, I think Lynne is saving up her choice words and then will blast us with those choice words and we will never be able to shut her up!) roflmbo Nite Lynne!! hee hee
Good morning, or not. Yes, it is the last day of school for my kinders and I should be ecstatic. And I am...but we got some crappy news yesterday on my dad.I know I haven't been updating and such on here, but we thought he was doing really well. And actually he is. He looks great, feels great, has tons of energy and a great outlook. He built 2 box gardens, one for me, one for mom, swam with us the other night, helped Monte fix the trailer and just all around looks like he has so much energy. Unfortunately, his CT scan indicated some suspicious spots and the doctor ordered a PET scan. Yesterday, we got the news that the PET scan "lit" up. That was scary to hear, yet, could have been worse. The spots that lit up were the ones the doctor saw on the CT. Lit up means they are cancer. It is in lymph nodes and it is considered a "recurrence" which apparently is defined as "incurable". How much does that suck! We don't like those words and I don't know how well I understand it. I'm upset, but really angry. How can this be? How? They just took it all out in Feb. how can it be "back". Well they say it is Stage 4. Again, considered that because it's a recurrence. We have an appointment with a surgeon to have a port put in and it's back to the Chemo. He will be getting Taxol once a week for 3 weeks then rest a week, repeat then scan. This super sucks! Sorry to be such a downer on this beautiful morning. Just thought I would fill you in, ask for prayers.
Good Tuesday morning Dana and all my eagle friends! No live cam but I see part of 1 juvie on the still cam.Lynne1, sorry to hear about your son's hospitalization. Don't know anything about pancreatitis but it doesn't sound good. He will be in my prayers.Dana, I am so sorry to hear that your dad's cancer is back. Sending prayers and positive energy your way that the chemo will work to get rid of the spots on his lymph nodes.Lori, speaking of dads, how is yours doing? Bet your folks are missing their girl!Make it a great day all! last school day of the year for Dana - wow, enjoy that!! It's been a long year for you!

Lolly congrats on your new Great Niece !! My great Niece was born at 6lbs 3 oz, 12 in head and 19.5 in long. Tiny lil baby girl!
Good morning my eagle budlets. I am only seeing one eaglet but certainly the other could be hidden. I really hope - #1 - that the nest is inhabitable next year and #2 - they move the camera up some so we can see more of the nest. Have a couple of catbirds at my feeders this morning but nothing else. As I typed that, a blue jay swooped down raising cane. Apparently catbirds do not like blue jays.
Now I see no eaglet.
Hairy goes this morning to get neutered. I am praying this may help a little with anger management but probably not.
1 eaglet again, I am assuming Shammie.
Both there now, side by side at 11-12 o'clock position.
Awesome Avatar, Sharon !!Beautiful and Handsome, side by side ☺♥☺♥
GOOD Morning Eagle Buds DANAMO SO sorry about the news on your DAD will keep you all close to heart and sending healing thoughts his wayand I see no eaglets in the nest at the moment
Thank you everyone, it means the world to me to know that all of you are praying for my dad.

Good morning,Prayers for your dad, Dana. Sorry about the bad news. Good that he has been feeling so well, but tough that there are still problems.
Checking out the still cam--I see one eaglet at about 5:00.
Baseball again tonight. I do hope they will win. Not sure what to think--the coach seems to work very hard, but I see some fathers shake their heads at some of the advice he gives. I am not well-versed enough in baseball to know.
Good morning all!!!DANAMO, so sorry to hear about your Dad...prayers for him and your family.GRANNY, prayers also for your son. Hope he is feeling better very soon.SHIRLEY, hoping along with you that Hunter wins his game tonight.HODA and JUDIE, I would like to take a trip to Nelson, too! Good Morning WHOO HOO ! LIVE FEED IS UP/RUNNING
ME TOO, JIM
Morning, all,Yup, got the live feed up. Can see one juvie up on the balcony, the other is laying at 5, which I think is Shamrock.Gorgeous day! Going to plant some plants today in hanging baskets and pots.
Glo, hope you feel better.DanaMo, hoping that the chemo does the trick.Pancreatitis, not fun, hope the flare up flares down.
Hearing more "adult-like" calls from our eaglets this morning.
Food delivery! Shammie claimed it right quick! Pays to lay in the nest, LOL. Adult gone, couldn't even see which one, as they landed at the 12 spot.
They are both taking a moment to watch the adult fly around, I presume.
Shamrock eating the delivery, looks like a fish.
Hmmm, now that the other eaglet has hopped down, looks like Hedgie was in the nest and Shamrock on the stump.
Morning - crisp and beautiful weather!Dana my heart is very heavy for you and your dad and mom. I'll be prayingfor all of you and especially for dad to be rid of that damn cancer!Janet - wishing your hubby successful surgery ♥Grannyblt - so sorry to read the news of your son's illness and hospitalization...pancreatitis. Will be praying for his recovery ♥
Yay, the live cam is really up! I see and eaglet and a shadow.
GOOD MORNING! Getting warmer by the day! Sigh.....Dana, so very sorry about your dad. Prayers for sure! Good news is he goes into this healthy otherwise.Janet, have you ever tried feta, chopped basil, and olive oil on tomato slices. Yummy!!!Also, blue cheese melted under the broiler of filets!!! OMG! Oh, and then topped with a wonderful sauce!!!Was enjoying the shadow of the eaglet on the stump, then the other came and sat down on the shadow. Grrrr! At least today I will have the cam to watch while walking. Yesterday was a bummer.
I am a happy nestor since the live feed is up/running! It is June 4 already and these babies should be ready to leave the nest! Today 2:00 is the graduation for Dom up at the Mount! Very large class -= lots to walk across that stage into a new life! I wish them all well in the choices they make.
LOL Newest great niece is a little piggy. 8 lbs and only 19 inches. She has the fattest cheeks! She looks just like Talon or TC as they call him. Still no name. Waiting on that news so Jack can make a name train.
I will be back early evening or sooner Have a good day ♥
SANDI, forgot to answer you, sorry. Dad is doing very well now. About 90% back to normal. He's going camping, mowing the huge yard, stairs and everything like before. Thanks for asking!
food possibly coming in...eaglet squealing. Nope, no food but bet parent is in the tree. Looking up as if to say "where's the chow?"
Wow, Lori....that sounds great!!
That eaglet just got some serious air.
Oh, that was a huge air lift by eaglet in the nest. One on stump is doing a big wing flap.
Glad you saw it too, Sharon,
Lori, glad to hear your Dad is doing so well.Janet, waiting for your update on Tom. Hoping all goes as planned!Lolly, I like Talon much better than TC...I hate initial nick names!I do see an eaglet eating! Cannot see the second one.
Ok, can see the shadow of the eaglet in the balcony at times.
Have one more planter to go.Think I will take Nick for a walk when I'm done.
Wondering what our eaglet is eating...looks feathered underfoot.
Many thanks to NCTC - Clay - and any and all technicians whogot the still and live feeds up and running....Bravo !Hello More Eagle Palsxo
Love the shadow play at the nest, whether it's the eaglets or the leaves or branches....
I agree with you, Paula, and I like Talon. I remember that the lady at open house with her birds, her daughter was named Talon.Eagle came in fast with lunch and exited immediately. Eaglet in nest chowed for a full half hour as we were walking and I was a watchin!! It was a dark colored bird is all I know. Could see the feathers occasionally as the eaglet had its back to the cam.Other eaglet just cam down from the balcony and is chowing on the leftovers. In the middle of this post my brother called. His new granddaughter has a name...Terra Kellie. Paula, hope they do not call her TK. lol
I see one eaglet munching at the 2 spot, the other is at the launchpad, munching also...facing in toward the nest. One one at the 2 spot is defeathering!
It was a large bird...have been munching for quite a while!
Home for a quickie at lunch had to drop off House Payments and I see live feed is up
SO Habby for your DAD LORI that he is doing better
I wonder if they found out what was ailing the live feed
THANKS CLAY AND all who fixed the LIVE FEED
ONE EAGLET IS AT BOTTOM OF BALCONY STUMP
Wow! Excitement at the Sycamore Palace!! Parent must be near.
One sitting right below the cam. Talk about a close-up.
One in the nest and one on the balcony
Eaglet at the base of the balcony looking up and calling out....Oh, I see a fish in the nest at the 3 spot...So, Eaglet must just be talking to parent :)Other eaglet on the balcony.
good afternoon. all is quiet here.....we have been home just over an hour...tom is snoozing. doc says surgery went well. now, if we can get him to "behave" over the healing process............................ we know how tempting it is as you heal and feel better to do things that you aren't supposed to do.................. :(LOLLY: when fresh tomatos come in i will have to try feta/basil and olive oil on them...that sounds decadent!CMA (country music festival) is going on this week. i forgot, it is always the first week of June not that i go downtown much anyway nor had any plans to do so, but .... always good to be aware of that mad house.years ago, when i lived in maine, i thought it would have been great fun to go to this; now that i live here, eh, not so much. 20 years makes a difference in opinions sometimes!not a lot else going on. i am watching the 4p.m. news.....just had my p.m. coffee and am breathing a sigh of relief....wwwwhhheeewwww!!!!!!surgery's done; time to heal.... thanks for your energies and love!
JANET, glad the surgery is over and went well. Now, enjoy your evening. :)
I just walk in and I hear squealing and yep adult in nest
Great NEWS SIS Hey I have duck tape if needed to tape him down If he is like all males he won't take it easy LOL

Busy day for me. Carpet measurer measured and gave carpet advice, real estate friend stopped by for a color consult, patio people stopped to assess patio problem, attended a meeting with Darth, prepared a salad for said meeting, finished three loads of laundry. Okay, enough about me.Checked on the nest a couple of times. Seems our eaglets are making final preparations for flight. So happy the live cam is back.Thank you Clay and to any others who worked magic for the momsters and dadsters. Hugs.Sandperson is busy stuffing a recycled pillowcase with sleepy dust and will be the way at 11pm. Restful sleep for all.

Thank you Judie and everyone for all your prayers.Dad is strong and so are mom and I. :)Strong, but tired. Good night. Love you guys!
