Warmer weather is predicted. I think spring is here.

Good morning THELMA AND SHIRLEY!

T-Bird said...

Did I get a feather? : )

T-Bird said...

How are you doing Lori?

Lori O. said...

Hi THELMA, I'm fine. Can't wait for spring, and to go down to Maryland this weekend! Leaving Saturday for a few days.

Sandi said...

Good morning Shirley, Lori, and Thelma! Thelma, hope you're right about that spring thing! I am so sick of cold weather! Wanna wear my flip flops!!

Lori, prayers continue for Annie and Kate and the family.

Tennis for me again this morning - better scoot! Later!

stronghunter said...

Good morning, Thelma. Oh, I am hoping for spring, too. A person should not have to wear a winter coat to baseball practice. I was even wishing I had worn my longjohns.

stronghunter said...

I do not hear the wind at the nest this morning. That is one good thing.

More feeding.

stronghunter said...

I think I heard a woodpecker in the distance and a barking dog somewhere in Nestville.

stronghunter said...

Flip-flops, sandals without socks, capris--it is time to think of those things. We do need spring.

T-Bird said...

STRONGHUNTER-you and MAGPIE are truly gifted in being able to identify the bird's music at the nest. (Sharon is also great at that.) It's been years and years that I've been trying to identify birds by their music. Eagles and doves are the only two I have learned to identify. At a yard sale Donna got a clock that has different birds at each hour. You would think that would help me. : ))

stronghunter said...

Those two kidlets are getting harder and harder to tuck underneath a parent, but it is a chilly morn. They have to need some protection.

stronghunter said...

Well, it was pecking I heard, Thelma, not singing. Margy has much better abilities than I do in the bird-song department.

stronghunter said...

Okay, Sheppie-boy just added another log to the already-shored-up side of the nest. Good grief.

stronghunter said...

And Shep poofs.

stronghunter said...

And returns with a smaller stick, which he puts closer to where it needs to be.

Judie said...

Good morning.

Belle was feeding and then trying to tuck the babes under. Sometimes they look like bars of soap slipping out.

Hoping Annie will have comfort and serenity at home.

Shirley, very clever to call the bank from the drive-thru. Would love to have been there for that. As for the baseball practice, I think the solution is to become Hunter's team cheerleader so you can jump up and down and wave your arms to stay warm while appearing to sacrifice for the team.

Wanda, give Miss GG and big hug and tell her I think she's the bravest lady I know. Wishing this last visit will be a perfect fit.

Cold here also and wishing I could stay inside. Have to go and talk t the wannabe adults.

Have as good a day as possible.

stronghunter said...

Good morning, Judie!

I hope your time with the wanna-bes is good.

I am sure the team would not object to a cheering grandma--well maybe Hunter would be embarrassed, but so what!

stronghunter said...

Lots of activity at the nest this morning. They are building up the crib rails, but not really listening to me about where the sticks should be placed.

stronghunter said...

Hunter is sleeping in this morning. Guess baseball practice wore him out yesterday.

Lolly said...

Good morning! We got away at 7. Survived traffic in south Dallas, iPad working great. Just took a peek at our eaglets. Spring may be reaching you, but it has come and gone at Hawkwood. Lol. It was 42 this morn!

Have a great day and I'll be checking in!

Hugs!

glo said...

Good morning everyone. Sounds like things are good at the nest. I am glad. I want to do a little yard work today and tomorrow. Camera Club tonight and Dex will have a dog sitter so I guess a little housework is in order today since someone besides a blind dog will be spending some time here. :-) HAGD

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Good morning my eagle budlets.

I have a prayer request. My neighbors, Kim and Roscoe Cain, who live in my Nanny's old house, are trying to have a baby. She has been going to a fertility specialist here for a couple of months. Her and her husband are great people. They go to church every Sunday. They have been married for 10 years and have tried so hard to have a baby. I keep telling her that it will happen in God's time, not ours. Anyway, I know the power of Momster prayers! I pray that she has peace and trusts that God is in charge.

Costume Lady said...

Good morning...
It is 38° here in Nestville, a beautiful morning, going up into the mid 50s. Pretty much the same for Friday and Saturday. But, Sunday, the warm up starts...60s, then 70s on Tues, and Wed. and 80° on Thursday! HOORAY! Our little Hedgie and Shamie will love the warmer temps and will, most likely, be all over that nest:)

We have a Food Delivery Truck coming in today, which means another BUSY day. Our Pastor was to have a kidney stone removed this morning, so he won't be there to get in the way! Some people come to help, but absolutely just get in the way...you know what I mean?
We have 2 tons to unload from the truck, into our trucks and trailers and then unloaded into the church to be put away into the freezer(Thanks for donation, Lori) and fridge and the Pantry. We have 300 pounds of Bakery items coming (free), so we will take a break with some coffee and donuts (always a huge variety of donuts and cakes and pies). No wonder I can't lose any weight;)

Everyone, have a great day♥

That is, the refinance approved. It should be approved once I produce these papers.

stronghunter said...

Yeah, Judy, I think I would just delete that message. I am not sure what authorities would need to be contacted.

Surely would not send the criminals anything to encourage them.

EAGLE CALLS

stronghunter said...

Rus said he heard an eagle call from behind his house awhile back. He has not seen it, however. Would love to hear an eagle call around here.

stronghunter said...

Yes, heard those calls, too, Judy. Not sure that it was Belle, though.

stronghunter said...

I think it is Belle in the nest.

Good Afternoon - Mr and Mrs Cardinal came up to feed and he is the such a brilliant red. Weather is decent today but I think rain is on its way up from FL.
I've been watching the Royal Palace today. Our little ones are a handful but Belle and Shep do great with them.

Lori - prayers for Kate to find Peace and for Annie to be comfortable at home.

Lolly and Jack - you all are making good time!

Seeing lots of daffodils along the highway - I'd pull over and pick a bunch but I am a coward and afraid of getting caught. I just need to go to Jenny's or Meagan's garden!

Margy did you hear from Megan about Farmer's market yet...?

LORI, safe travel as you head for Maryland. The break will do you good ! Prayers for Kate n' Annie !

LINDA, thinking of you often as you count down to the Big Deadline ! By this time I'm sure you're aggravated with procrastinators who then expect you to hop to it on their behalf !

SHAR, here's hoping Kim and Roscoe have their prayers for a little one answered in the affirmative !

WANDA, what a good shipment for the pantry/kitchen ! God bless all the folks and organizations who donate as well as you, Gene and your helpers. What a wonderful outreach program you have there !

Lol Margy! Did you think we had headed in the wrong direction. :).

We are in Alabama. Spelled. That out for you! 225 miles to go.

Just passed a fancy big rig. Identified as Rescue Road trip. I googled it. Very interesting! All about transporting. Rescued fur babies. Google it!

Lolly said...

Rolling.......Birmingham, 143 to go!

Lori O. said...

LOLLY, that Rescue Road Trip is cool! Thanks for sharing. Glad you are having a nice scenic trip. Stay safe. Will you be there tonight?

Slow on here. Linda, my free time with Puffin has expired, but can not find the fee to buy it.

Lolly said...

Oh, yes! We will be at Jane's in a couple hours. Need to stop to eat, that will extend the time!

stronghunter said...

Taking a moment to read a few comments. Yeah, I saw that LA thing too. I thought Lolly was headed east, too. So, I thought there was some kind of error what would get fixed eventually.

Lolly said...

Jane and Herbert actually live in Douglasville, just west of Atlanta.

stronghunter said...

I am warm now, Margy.

Lolly said...

Lol. I will spell out for you from now on.

Okay, Lolly. I was trying to make it to be Alabama. Now it makes sense.

stronghunter said...

Sorry I accused you of backwards spelling, but Los Angeles would probably be a fun place to visit when you think about it. I have never been there. We could all go see Andy and Jim.

paula eagleholic said...

Well I was out shopping while ya'll were talking about LA....

Gotta go get Larry's truck yet tonight...gonna bring down my lighthouse too.

Stopping at Home Depot on the way down to pick up the roofing materials...will be a long ride down tomorrow.

Lynne2 said...

Rain still quite a way from us yet, maybe by midnight.

I'm freezing. I'm beginning to think this late evening Freeze Fest that my body puts me through has some sort of medical significance. Hmmmm.

Well, I should have read a bit more about Morning Glories BEFORE I made this attempt. Seems they have very delicate root systems and transplanting is not recommended. Sure enough, my little plants are not looking so good. UGH!

Mema Jo said...

There isn't any precipitation here yet -

Paula, what with roofing supplies from Home Depot - Does Larry know where you are shopping? lol

Lolly - you and Jack should be there
I am very thankful you had a safe trip

Michael called - they had rain in NC today so they all went to the movies to see OZ. I just know he is going to miss the Bragg Bunch as much as they are going to miss Grandpa Michael.

Hi, Everyone,

Getting here kinda late, but it's been a busy day.

Shar, prayers that Kim & Roscoe Cain will be able to have a baby.

Glad to hear that Scout is home and doing fine. Hope there's been no kidney damage.

Happy that Christine is doing well, too!

I'm feeling a LOT better. I think the physical therapy is really helping. Went to the specialist for a followup on the MRI. The report is long, so I'll post a shorter version here tomorrow. I'm going to have to be careful from here on in about heavy lifting and going on roller coasters, but should be able to lead a fairly normal life. Will continue with P.T. for a while.

Emma is feeling better, but is rather sleepy, probably from the antihistamines. Lots of laptime naps needed! My allergies are bad right now too. Gardeners just mowed the lawn Tuesday, which set off my runny nose & sneezing.

Lolly & Jack, enjoy your road trip!
Glad you are able to check in here.

Well, getting pretty sleepy, so think it's time to call it a day.
Have said prayers for everyone. The porch light is on, and both security systems are enabled. Sleep tight, with SED. God bless, and goodnight. I love all of you!

Excellent African cooking class and I am stuffed. One more in MAY.

LOLLY and JACK arrived safely.

PAULA and LORI are on the move this weekend.

SHIRLEY is not happy with the weather...it is turning here too, wet now and dropped to the 60's today...and for the weekend they speak of the 50's now...with more rain.

They found a body in the Cottonwood Park. A young Nelson man. Very sad. Overdose.

PRAYERS SHAR for your neighbours.

JUDYE with such scams here the police RCMP likes to be notified and they just keep a record of when it flares up again in the area and write an article in the papers so people would be aware. DO NOT IN ANYWAY engage with those people. DELETE is a good idea after you tell the police. If they want to trace it they could always do so.

Good Morning Eagle Family!

JANET, glad to hear that Scout is home and doing well.

LOLLY, thankful that you arrived safely and chatted the night away. Have fun today!

PAULA, have a safe trip. Keep us posted on your bird sightings, and most of all, have a great time!

MARGY, no red on yet - still have my robe on. :)

HODA, What kinds of foods did you make in your African cooking class. Sounds interesting. Have a good day wrapping baskets!

ANDY, so glad that your shoulder is feeling better and that PT is really helping.

I have a math tutoring session this afternoon, then will leave tomorrow morning for Maryland! I'm so excited to see Kate and the animals!

Andy, glad to hear that you are feeling better. Sounds like no surgery needed???

Lolly, enjoy your time in Georgia!!

Janet, great news that Scout is home, feeling fine, and has no kidney damage!

Paula, safe travels to the beach today!!

Taking both dogs (I refer to them as Bad and Worse) to the vet this morning. They both need nail trims and a blood test for heart worms before I can start them back on their Heartgard. Bella usually pees or poops or expresses her anal glands on the tech and Bandit needs to be muzzled b/c of his dementia. Should be extra fun to do in the rain!
