The mountains are covered but mercifully it did not stay in town. Very cold though...
I am glad the law for campaigning in Canada allows for no more than five weeks of campaigning. A week before the writ is dropped and four weeks afterwards. Then we vote and clean up and it is all settled till the next round. I worked my volunteer time and many people donate and many people come in to ask information. I do not know all the policies so I take notes and tell them someone will get back to them...It works pretty well.
SHIRLEY says have fun with taxes??? I do not think that is possible SHIRLEY.LOL!!!
LORI that is one big clot and I am glad they caught it in time and that he is under medical care.
PRAYERS continue for ANNIE'S transition.
Speaks of more snow tomorrow and so it is what it is!!!
At both of the Stork Nests I watch, one in the Netherlands, and the other in Germany... both parents spend the night in the nest, one roosting and the other standing on those long spindly legs I don't know if they switch places from time or not
Good grief! I return to find that Shirley has wet her pants and removed her pants and her friends took her pants away and hung the pants somewhere outside a tent and she is suggesting her grandson absconded with her special cereal. Supervision is clearly needed.
was hoping to see you Judie... Hope you and Darth enjoyed your day.... You don't need to include Martinsburg in the Sandperson's itinerary tonight, thanks anyway!
Had not been able to find my cell phone. I finally decided that it had to be in my bedroom because I could hear it vibrate when I called it, but I could not find it.
Today, it was binging. (I think Lynne was playing WWF.) And then I could tell someone sent me a text. So I started the hunt again. Finally located it under my bed. I had looked there several times, even with a flashlight. I think it was so close to one of the wheels that I just was not seeing it. Do not know why it did not ring when I called it.
The text was my message that the IRS has accepted my taxes.
Oh my gosh, I would have wet my pants from laughing at Judie's posts.
Just so you know, Judie. It was lake water, and there was no tent. We slept under the stars. Gets right chilly at night that far north, so I needed dry clothes.
Was about to decide that my cell phone had gone to the land of deceased appliances, though. And it gets cold there, too.
Good morning! How is everyone these days? I haven't been on in forever it seems.
Just peeked in on Shamie and Hedgie. Can't believe how much they have grown. Trying to snuggle down in the cup this morning, it's rather chilly out there!
We opened the pool yesterday, but I sure wish it had been open last week when it was so warm, now the temps have dropped and I can't even go out there with my coffee :( Soon enough I suppose.
This is my "egg" spectant week. Tomorrow should be the day. I hope we have a hatch.
Okay, I should try to read back through at least the last day so I know what is going on with all you wonderful people.
OMHeavens Lori. That is a huge blood clot. Glad dad is in the hospital and being treated. Prayers for Annie and Kate.
Margy-I sure hope you get relief soon. Getting answers will be nice, then of course decision time about what to do is always difficult. Hopefully it will be clear cut.
Judie-those turns always make me nervous. I'm always warning my kids to be very careful and stay in their lane. Accident waiting to happen for sure. Glad you are okay.
Nice dinner with Mom, my sister and her family, and Brian and Lynnis last night. Then came back to Mom's for Carvel ice cream cake.
Denny and i went to 3 places looking for daylilies - no luck. They all said we were too early. Finally Lisa found some and some shasta daisies at a nursery near the ice rink where Madeline skates. By the time she got them to Mom's, it was too late to dig holes to plant them. So i will do that this morning before we leave to head home.
Beautiful day yesterday weather-wise. Felt like spring not summer. Just about right for April.
Lori, hope your dad is doing well.
Margy and Judy, hope you get some pain relief for those wrists.
Dana, good luck with the ducks hatching. Lynnis just tried incubating some chicken eggs recently but the incubator got too hot and none hatched.
Good morning Judy. You must have popped on while i was typing. I am so slow on this kindle. How is your wrist feeling this morning? Cute pics of Jordyn and friends on FB.
Up late this morning...Dad came home from the hospital yesterday but will have nurses coming by to give him shots for the blood clot.
Have not heard from Kate yet this morning for the latest on Annie, but she said last night it wouldn't be long. She can eat or drink and hasn't since Thursday.
DANA, hope you have a happy hatch week! That's so fun for you and the kids!
JUDYE, hope your hand feels better today.
HODA, sorry for all the snow! It's beginning to warm up here again.
SHIRLEY, relief that you found your cell phone!
Hope everyone has a great day. Prayers for all in need and smiles for everyone!

Sandi-I always set the incubator up a few days ahead of time and watch the temperature. Usually takes adjusting it several times before I get it consistent.

Night MARGY.
Belle is asleep now too.
I hope the storke switches! Standing on one leg all night seems a bit too much to me.
Good grief! I return to find that Shirley has wet her pants and removed her pants and her friends took her pants away and hung the pants somewhere outside a tent and she is suggesting her grandson absconded with her special cereal. Supervision is clearly needed.

My rowers were so excited to meet Darth but, sadly, they did not win. Wish they had.
JudyE, so happy Jordyn's birthday was such a success. The creativity sounds amazing. Glad the little ones had fun. Hope the wrist feels better soon.
Glo, glad you and Dex and had a good day and found a nearby eagle nest.
Loweeeda, enjoy the early blooms.
Well, Margy, the sandperson will make a quick check to make sure you are safe and sleeping soundly. Should be there momentarily.
For others, the sandperson is one the way. Restful sleep for all.
Heading to the shower and then to bed. My eyes are bothering me, probably allergies and being outside all day.
Night all! SED!!!
I agree on the suprevision in SHIRLEY'S LAND JUDIE!!!

Must stop for the night. Eyes are failing me now. See you tomorrow. SED, everyone.
Glad that you and Darth got to see the rowers, Judie. I wish they had won, too.
Now I must sleep.
