Nite again!

Good one SHIRLEY!!!

I hope George is better tomorrow and that he starts eating again.

Must be frustrating about the car LOLLY!!! Tell them you will charge them for a rental as your car is out of commission and they will have to pay for a rental till it is fixed...they move faster in Canada if they think they are going to be out of pocket!!!

LYNNE I am missing your posts. Hope you come back to the blog and post soon...

YES INDEED JO's absence is very much remarked and she did not tell us how long she will be gone...I will give her a week before I call up THE MOUNTIES for a search party!

SHIRLEY HUNTER is not your average kid, he is smart and creative and yes Granma watches the eagles but he took the interest. Cute that he thought it was ridiculously easy...

Hi, Gang,

Well, I'm sort of caught up here.
Had quite a busy day today, but got my errands done.

My shredding project is coming along well. Another trash bag is ready to go out tomorrow.

Shar, I LOVE your dress! Can't wait to see a picture of you in it!
Glad that Kristen is making some progress. Sounds hopeful. Prayers continue for her, and the whole family.

Shirley, hope that George will begin eating tomorrow. If not, calling the vet is an excellent idea. Tell George that Emma and I say hello, please.

Jo, have a marvelous time at the beach. Be sure to wiggle your toes in the sand!

Hoda, I'm so glad that you and your friend had such a nice visit.
Know what you mean about cleaning up the house. Talk about a never-ending story! Need to do nothing on the next few weekends except clean house here! Must share a quotation: "Housework, if you do it right, will kill you."
--Erma Bombeck

Lolly, you reminded me--I got a really nice card from Christie, too.

Goodness, gracious!! Sounds like we have the Raccoon Olympics in progress up on our roof! Gee whiz!

Well, guess I'd better call it a day. It's later than I thought!
Have said prayers for everyone, and for all creatures, too. The porch light is on. Both security systems are enabled. Have SED, everyone. God bless, and goodnight.
Love all of you, SO much!

Thank you, DANA, for that link to the hummers...it worked! I just watched the second chick hatch, was almost out when Emma came and sat down and ruined my view:(

Good night.

Thinking of all seen and unseen as MARGY so wonderfully worded it...

PRAYERS.

Lori O. said...

Hello all!

Still threatening to rain here...so you've got buckets of this wet stuff, HODA? Looks like we'll have more today.

MARGY, thanks so much. I got your envelope with LYNN'S program in it. That was so sweet of you to mail it to everyone. Thank YOU!

ANDY, glad you have lots of work. Seems to be the problem (?) these days - those of us left working are working A LOT! I'm looking forward to just 5 days a week again! :) Just glad you're happy and schooling paid off! Scratches for Emma!

LOLLY, did you put your satillo tile down yourself? Friends of mine in Nor Calif did and swore never to do that again! Have the caladiums come up? Love those!

JO, hope you're having a grand time on the sand!

KAY, was hoping I'd see you up for meds, but I'm glad you're sleeping through it! I miss you!

Good Morning SANDI - our early bird group seems to be shrinking! Great news on your Mom's house! Kate's mom can't say anything these days except how much she wants to go home. Your Mom sounds like she's excited! Go Mom!!! Any Josh updates?

DanaMO - hoping it's a dry morning so you can get in your run - tho the streets are certainly still wet. Treats for the 3 Flying Labs!

GLO - How did the porch turn out?

OH - look at the time - gotta run. Have a great day, all! ♥U!

Andrea and Hoda, I shall take the House/cleaning and House/keeping tips and tricks in mind and try to gain the advantage, "one of these days"

Time to dress and go....worktime looms, sure came around fast :(

Best Wishes for a Good Day, Every One

Morning Lori and Margy! More gray and rainy here too.

Sandi said...

Shirley, hope George starts to eat today! How worrisome!

Sure wish Margy was on (with sound) to tell me what kind of bird is singing near the nest - I heard it yesterday as well. Such a distinctive song but i don't recognize it.

Parent just landed near the cam. Eaglets are peeping!

magpie said...

Hi Sandi !! I wish I had sound also.....would love to hear that bird, and the eaglets peeping....

they look a little on the soggy side

xoxo Hello from Work !

Sandi said...

Lori, Josh is walking a little though it is very painful for him. But he's walking!!! Should be home by the end of this week. He hopes to come to school during the last week to say bye to everyone. Sure hope he can make it, even in a wheelchair!

magpie said...

That, would be Awesome, if Josh could do that, Sandi...and that's a word I use sparingly...

so glad to hear these reports

Sandi said...

Margy, I wish I could type out an imitation of the bird song for you - it is indeed a lovely song!

Lori O. said...

Hi MARGY & SANDI!

Sandi, so glad Josh is walking some. My heart aches for the little guy.
How are you liking that new tub???

OMGosh, Shirley, today is a big, big day for George. Prayers that his appetite comes back, FAST!

I'll be thinking of you when I visualize who is listening, MARGY!

Good morning!

Up and awake early. Very inconsiderate of two furry creatures to yowl for breakfast when mom is still sleeping. Ah well, the joys of being an animal parent.

On that note, Shirley, I do hope George will regain his appetite. It is such a concern. Oh, and I was so pleased I could answer the Decorah question last night. That nest is really crowded.

Not much on the menu today. Laundry and reading and listening to raindrops.

Margy, have a quiet day at work.

Sandi, will keep Josh in my thoughts and hope that he will be able to personally say goodbye to his friends.

Have a good morning everyone.

wvgal_dana said...

Good Morning Lori, Sandi, Margy and Judie and to others coming in.

Shirley I sure hope today is the day George feels better.

Wanda I am so happy that link helped out so you can now see the baby hummers.

Lolly yes you need a rental car.

It would be very nice if Josh could make it to school to see his friends. I am keeping him in my prayers.

Margy love your avatar it is so pretty and cherrful. Hope your day is good. :)

wvgal_dana said...

Judie your avatar reminds me always of "Tabithia". My daughters tabby cat we cared for when she move away. She was too old to make the move. She was such a good cat.

Tuesday morning! Good morning to one and to all!!!!

Not a lot going on around Nashville. Hoping for rain.....got a small shower but nothing to speak of. 75 today and 95 by the weekend. BLEECH. Hot weather so not my thing any more.

Played my djembe a bit last night. Learned some techniques the other day and wanted to practice them before I forget!

Birds are very active at the feeder this morning....and saw another humming bird last night. Not many so far this year. :(

JUDYE> I know you are out there. Hugs my sister. I love you.

Everyone, have a good day. Light, love and hugs to all.

wvgal_dana said...

Good Morning Janet you have a good day also. :)

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

OMG - that eaglet just went up on that cut off branch, almost out of view of the camera and slithered back down. My heart cannot take this!

Sandi said...

Sharon, just this morning as I was watching the eaglets, I thought, "Very soon, one of them is going to catch some air on a hop and disappear from our view!" They are almost ready to go - I have really loved watching them!

Lori O. said...

I thought the same thing, SANDI!

Good morning, SHARON. ((hugs))
to both of you!

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Good morning Lori and Sandi! ♥♥ and (((HUGS)))!!!

Lolly said...

Good morning, gang! Lori, no we did not install the tile ourselves. A friend had the tile installed in her kitchen and we had the same guy install it. He is an individual that does Satillo tile. We have it on our patio and by the front door. Really dresses up the entrance, so much better than concrete.

The caladiums are starting to come up. Will be taking pictures soon. Since we planted them on the new terrace, I am more than ever anxious for them to come up!

It was 65 this morning, up to 70 now, so I am going to get out and get started on the patio. Great day to do it. Will get Jack to help me move the furniture, then the job is all mine. He will help with cleaning the furniture and moving it all back this evening.

Lolly said...

Oh, we will definitely be getting a rent car, if we can only hear from the #3 insurance company. I want it now. Friday will be 2 weeks! Good grief....slow and messed up!!! And, they are paying
$20 each day the car is at the tow place.

wvgal_dana said...

Good Morning Sharon and Lolly.

Lolly I sure hope you get that rental car soon. I think you should have already had it!!

wvgal_dana said...

Belle in with small piece of food and Missy took it. Humm wonder why she did not bring in a fish?

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

Something really small for brunch just arrived.

wvgal_dana said...

Belle poof

Costume Lady said...

GOOD MORNING...

LOLLY, I feel your pain...seems like everything is so UNSETTLED, including your nerves! Insurance companies are s-l-o-w to settle, but QUICK to let you know that your payment is behind!

Costume Lady said...

That surely must be a turtle being pecked at...seems to be eating where the head comes out...glad JO can't see this!

Costume Lady said...

OMG, Belle and Shep are going to have a lot of reconstruction work to do to get that nest back in decent living conditions. Looks like a small landslide at the 8o'clock position. The nest, most likely, is completely saturated with rain...we have had a LOT, our garden is just lovin' it!
