Good morning,

Kathryn has left for work. She has already said that she might not stay the whole day.

I think she took one of the sofa pillows. She's been hugging it to her abdomen all along.

Man, it poured rain earlier this morning.

Good morning my friends,

Sandi, I had mono ten years ago. It was awful. I had 3 kids, Livvy was about 18 months old. Tom was of course on deployment. None of my kids or the people who helped me caught mono from me....one even kissed me regularly on the cheek and once on the lips to prove the point that I wasn't "that" contagious.

SO take normal precautions. Not saying it can't happen, I caught it second hand, but I was also very stressed out: bad job, father in law died, family member in the psyche ward....tom preparing to leave for a 6 month deployment, so my immune system was shot. At the time I didn't know how to protect myself and help to prevent this stuff.

Good morning to everyone!!!!! :)

I am off from Massage Envy for the rest of the week! :) Today I do have two private clients and one tomorrow, but that's it. I've taken some time off. Go figure! I have some fun things planned just for me. I've been looking forward to this week for some time, I can hardly believe it is here.

HOWEVER< Olivia is going to the dr today. SHe has a 9:40 appt. Tom is taking her. THhinking she may have strep. SHe is a child that normally does not run a fever and strep doesn't knock her to her knees like it did/does me. But there are still those nasty white spots on her throat and she still has a sore throat. Another pressing issue: she says to me after schoolyesterday "Mom do you know what this spot it" EGAD YES! A ring worm.

Olivia has psorasis and eczema there fore is more prone to them. SOOOOOO going to the dr today. Get her thru this. Sheesh, school is out next week Thursday!

CHelsea is doing well. She had morning sickness yesterday. Tomorrow she will be 7 weeks preg. We take this day by day, breath by breath.

Saw our first hummingbird on Sunday evening. I put out fresh food for them (and filled the wasp traps too!) and fresh seed for my other feathered buddies. Oh, yes, the squirrels too!!! Tom and Livvy got me this beautiful bird bath (its blue and white) that I had admired at lowes....so now I have a little bird sanctuary in my flowerbed! :)

Have a beautiful day my friends. I will check in later. SMILES :D and (((((HUGS))))) to any and all who need them!

Oh SHARON, I am so sorry. Prayers right away!

Sandi said...

Oh Sharon, prayers for Thelma! Sorry to hear she is not doing well again.

Hoep Kathryn does OK at work today - a short day sounds like a good idea!

Judy, what a shame that the cats that live in FL don't know their rules for capitalization and punctuation! I guess they feel they are above the rules - you know how cats are! Oh, you meant CATs as in the FL standardized test? Then I guess it's a shame that the kids in FL don't know their rules for capitalization and punctuation! Thanks to email and texting!

Hello to All and come on Sunshine!
I guess after a certain age that the adults don't bring in nice dry soft flugg for the eaglets. There is darkness coming in the sky - More rain?

Not many plans for today
Hoda I am imagining your visit with Kristen is about to begin. Have a grand time and make memories.

Judy - thanks a lot for always adding pictures to the Momster Album - It will be great to look back over Missy, Bro, Shep and Belle's season!

I've been praying for Thelma - Every morning on FB we would say Good Morning My Friend - I miss that - Hope medication can be ordered to bring her back to us. ♥

SHARON, God Bless you for all that you have done, and will do for our FRIEND, THELMA♥

HODA, sounds like a great week of weather for your visitor and you and all of your plans while she is there. ENJOY, ENJOY!!

Soup Kitchen is calling my name...sun is shining and looks to be a good day for our hungry and lonley friends.
Gene and I got everything ready yesterday so we have a head start on today. Soup is made, chicken is in bags and ready to pop in the oven. Closet is straightened and ship-shape, ready for our guests.

Have a great day♥

Oh Margy I love squirrels but if
while I was in the tub. One came
falling through the ceiling into
the tub. I think I would have been
"first" out of that tub !!! lol

James Inner Animal project sounds
so neat...Love he picked the "Bald Eagle".
His art work will be a Bald Eagle at rest from the head to the shoulders. That should be something to see. You'll have to take a picture and share with us when he is finished.

wvgal_dana said...

Been trying to capture a picture of the "white fluff" flying through the air from our eaglets preening. It is all over the nest.

Got a break. Trying to catch up.

Hoda: Paula's ♥ initials are K.S. Kooger Studmuffin.

Not sure about 10 hour workdays. I can barely manage 2 hours.

Audrey is healing nicely. Grace is better but I am not comfortable with the look of the incision. Take her back Thursday morning. Feel horrible that she has to keep that collar on but I will give her credit as she's been a trooper. Thank you for asking.

Hope Sandi didn't kiss her mono student a welcome back to class today.

Good Morning!

Sounds like everyone is up and busy with their day today......except me!!

Had a late movie night last night and slept in until 10am this morning! These kids!! Starting a movie after 11 is not for us old farts! We watched War Horse - a good movie.

Linda said...

SHARON - Prayers for Thelma. So sorry she is having a rough time again. And super news on Matie!!

WANDA - Bless you and Gene for all you do. Such a wonderful minsitry you to do.

SHIRLEY - Hoping today isn't too tough on Kathryn.

HODA - Enjoy your day with Kristin!

I think we are in for another wet day today, but tomorrow and Thrusday should be better. We wanted to go up to the Finger Lakes area again in NY and see some of the falls with the kids, but don't think the weather is cooperating.

Will have to think of something else for today and hope tomorrow is better for outdoor fun!

Lolly said...

Good morn! At the vampire clinic and the waiting room is crowded! Groan! Also made appointment with doc but can't get in til next Wed. Is everyone sick? Still feeling great!

Prayers for our T-Bird!

wvgal_dana said...

Linda read your comment where you saw the movie "War Horse". I seen it too. I really recommend it as you do.

Mema Jo said...

Someone must have taken a feather aka hair dryer up to the nest. The warm breeze did wonders

Mema Jo said...

Missy and Bro sure like huddling together on the edge! They really don't have much of a railing around the nest anymore.

wvgal_dana said...

The way the one was flapping its wings. I thought it was going to knock the other out of the nest. Due to that one being so close to the railing.

Lolly said...

I am home now. We have decided to go see a movie this afternoon, Hunger Game. Would also like to see War Horse, have also read that book. Will save that one for a later date.

I am home now and going outside for a while. Did not like driving Jack's pickup to Fort Worth, but I did. Will be glad when I get a rent car and even happier when I have my car back and in one piece. Still waiting to hear what the adjuster has to say.

One of the eaglets is way out on the launch pad. Yikes!

Eagle-Eyed Shar said...

She is back home. They just changed her medicine a little bit.

Hoda said...

PRAYERS SHAR!!! Thank you for letting us know what happened with THELMA...

JO I am expecting Kristin around 1:00 PM my time which is 3:00 PM your time. She texted several times and she is on the road. She has to cross the border and who knows how long that will take and then she has to take the ferry as the highway ends at the lake and there is the longest free boat ride in North America so she could get to the other side of the highway and make her way here...I hope she does not have to wait too long for the ferry...35 minute ride to cross the lake...
I made up her bed and now will go clean the bathroom and hopefully she is here in time to go for a hike this afternoon and yoga this evening...

Hi,

Back from lunch and a mutual venting session with a fellow teacher. Nice to have a break.

Sharon, please give Thelma our best and I do hope tweeking the med will make the difference. Hugs.

Janet, sorry Olivia is sick and hope she recovers quickly. Not easy for the young ones.

Ah, and I wonder why I am supposed to teach writing at a university or overlook the incompetence. Duh! Why would anyone need to know how to punctuate and capitalize?

Shirley, Kathryn may already be back home but regardless hope she's feeling okay.

Hoda, Kristen is almost there. Only another hour our time. Have a fun afternoon.

Wanda, have a SOUPER soup kitchen tonight.

Okay, back to doing some work

Bye

Hi,

Yes, Kathryn is back home. She was here when I got back from the dentist. She said that she might try going for part of the day again tomorrow.

I am going to try to take a short break while Kathryn helps Hunter work on his reading project.
