Home from church and the lunch/auction. We raised $1,611. Whoopee! Jack bid on my dessert until $100, it continued on up and sold for $125. Jack bought a carrot cake for $70 and a pecan pie for $45. However, the last item, a chocolate meringue pie, sold for $250. It was all about having fun while giving to good causes!
I should say that the carrot cake is already in the freezer. We will eat the pecan pie!
Carrot cake and pecan pie. I would have a hard time deciding which to eat first, Lolly.

We decided the carrot cake would freeze better. Have you ever frozen pecan pie? I have not!
What is so funny is I have great gobs of pecans frozen. I bet the pie would freeze as well.
I wish we had bid on an Italian creme cake. The lady who made it, her husband bought it, then they cut it up and served it. I got a small piece. It was to die for! Next year we bid on the Italian cream cake!
It is 94. Not nice to be so hot and so humid. Think I am going to try to go out for a while. Won't last, I assure you.

Just ordered a pizza from George's. They have only recently started delivering, and they have an excellent reputation. I hope they live up to it.
The delete is my repeat, sorry. Cam is giving me some trouble, but I'm in game mode.
Both of my NFL teams won today and am looking forward to tonight's Redskins/Cowboys game. Youngest is an avid Redskins fan and son in law is a Cowboy's. I have to side with son on this one. Go Redskins.
