Yep, sleeping....the burrowing owls must have been there today, or, somthing was, the debris over their hole is gone.
I noticed that the debris was gone. Do you see tire tracks in front of their home..The debris was probably their protective coverage of the hole - saw it once when it was snow covered

Just got through reading up-to-date on blog. Then looked at BW pics and what Lisa wrote. Thanks to those that put up video links; seen those also. See there are people that do go back and read blog. That way I knew about BW. hee hee

I have never seen any of the little burrowing owls. I remember the video someone sent of the little owl that fought off the fox! I feel in love with the little burrowing owl!!!
I fell in love with the little owls -- I really didn't feel in love! There's a difference! lol

Well, I believe the part needed to fix the cam will be installed on ground level, so I will gladly do it even in this freezing bitter cold weather if the @#*% part will just arrive at NCTC ASAP!!

I can't get those owl cams to work anymore:( Used to always watch those. Have to refresh them manually if I want to see them, the little cam won't work...what a pain.

Good morning, Suzanne, got those pics, thanks. COLD morning, 2° here, 12 to 15 ° below zero with the wind chill. Dog wants to go out, dreading it, but if you gotta go you gotta go. Thought they might have delayed school, no such luck. I see many WV schools are delayed or cancelled.

WOW! back from the bus stop and feeding the birds- back up to 2° here, heat wave.. Jo said she will make a call to NCTC this morning to see if she can get any info about the cam. Wish someone would just tell us if they have seen the eagles around the nest. Sure the folks at NCTC are just as frustrated as we are.

Actually Suzanne It was a sinus headache that started on my birthday. I feel much better now though and have been taking meds for a sinus infection for 5 days now. Thanks for asking. Just need a little eagle fix here inspite of the Great Footage from yesterday I got elsewhere in 25 below win chill because I am a slightly crazy person. Didn't have trouble finidng room in the viewing area though...just 2 of us there LOL
GOOD CHILLY MORNING EVERYONE 8° HERE IN BETHESDA, MARYLAND. Thanks for the shots, Suzanne, going over to look at them in a few minutes. Just remember in July and August, we will look back on these cold days, we are having. I'm not a big fan of the cold, but I love all the seasons for what they bring and relish in the changes:)! Can just barely see the white heads at Santa Cruz. 1 just flew off.
Other eagle just came back at SC, those landing are loud.
I agree on KENT site----same 2 or 3 lites---cont. each time---I have only seen 2 eagles---BW (she isn't leaving--ho!) & FL eagle---Heard the sounds at SC---missed NE & CO!
SUZANNE, their time is wrong on that cam, it says 7:45, it is 6:45. They are 3 hours behind us. It was very foggy there yesterday and I'm starting to see light now, but looks foggy again.
The time never changed when we went to daylight savings, time should be correct when we change back on March 11th.
It was so foggy yesterday, all you saw was the nest and branch, but no eagles.
KENT is getting lighter----I can't seem to find TAI----Time for BUTA BUTA---

Hello - all my friends! FUll house here these am hours. Phone calls made & I am expecting calls to be returned from Steve & John (IT)
But Angie & I talked for some time even though she had no info for me about the part. Yesterday as she passed through the guard station HE, the guard - bless his heart I wish I had his number - told her that had she been just a few minutes sooner she would have seen one of OUR eagles fly overhead. Steve does return calls so I will update as soon as that happens.Angie thinks it would be right after lunch.

Glad you made it in Suzanne & thanks so much for all the pictures of the Lady & the Lord. Don't know why they don't both stay in the nest during this cold weather. I noticed that the snow is starting to disappear at the NE nest. Kent cam1 was such a mysterious sight!
