Good evening all! Busy weekend, planting, seeding, weeding, cleaning, dog walking, outdoor relaxing and a last minute visit from my mother in law too!
Been trying to watch cams and catch up in between and I see there are lots more prayers needed, for Margy's friend's friend, Lynn's Diane, Dana and Wanda's niece, Nilla, Glo, continued prayers for Chrissy...hope I haven't forgotten anyone in my quick catch up.
Heading to the shower...and work in the morning. Will be back when I can!
Thanks for the new thread, Steve and for the call-over, Lolly.
Went to the grocery store, but forgot spider spray. Have some ant stuff, so I told Will to take care of the spiders with that. As long as they were staying outdoors, I wasn't too worried. I do recall that once last summer Tom informed me that he had counted 17 spiders on my front porch.
I have tried to eliminate them before, but they only come out at night. They hide in the daytime. If the porch population all had babies, it is no wonder they are coming indoors now.
Now that I have freaked Lynn completely out, I will promise her that I will surely find a way to eliminate them should she come to visit me.
If you go to the daily pics on the Xcel Fort St Vrain Owls - those 2 are comical looking..... I don't think they have a live feed for those owls. But the daily pics are great.
Evening Everyone! Haven't been on here either---outside some, lounging in front of TV. Saw some of Masters. Nice that Phil M. won. I did not know of all the problems we will pray for except Dana's niecel, but will add all to my list. Try to get to Dr. tomorrow---have infected cyst--can't sit too long & played Dr. at work on Fri. when I found tiny tick imbeded in my belly. Worked on it at home, too, but don't think it's all gone. As the wonderful Roseanne Rosanneadanna said, "It's always something!"
Hi Loretta - Hope your DR appointment gets all your items on the mend. Guess working in the out-of-doors has a few drawbacks - like tics! I've been checking the cats after they take strolls outside. I think they can get them by just laying on the deck.
I am going to watch some TV. If I don't come back. Good Night My Eagle Friends. Prayers for all needs and there seems to be many. The power of prayer. Thank you Lord! Sweet eagle dreams for all. Have a nice evening. ^..^
I did some long distant driving today and sometimes that tires me more than I think it is going to do. I'm ready to go in to the recliner and just relax or play solitaire! lol
My bleeding hearts are opening, too! In the batch there was a white one in front of the pink, but it disppeared a couple springs ago. Given to me by next door neighbor who moved a few years ago. Boo. I send her a pic each year! Gotta get up---if I konk out, please have Pleasant Feather Dreams ;>)
Paula Sounds like a Stellar Birthday Week-end for you, Ditto what Loretta said....you really keep the ball rolling on here in such a nice way. Thank You! And Yay for Michael...that is wonderful news too.
Heading for work soon, six hours first, then two 12's - saw a lot of great wildflowers today, bluets, Stars of Bethlehem, Wild Columbine, Winter Cress (the yellow "weed" that is all over some of the fields here) and lots more, will get some pictures up later in the week. Got the ramps delivered to Gene and Wanda, had a nice visit including GG, and got a recipe in exchange for the ramps! and had some good "family time." ♥
Good night everyone, God Bless all, and prayers from here for our needs...
Have been exploring through facebook. An elderly cousin of my daddy's died today. I finally got to know her a few years ago. She lived in Michigan. Have been talking on fb with family and viewed a video of her on youtube. Technology is fantastic.
Hello. I've been lurking in between fixing dinner, cleaning up from dinner, watching taped stuff and new stuff---Army Wives--yes! Will watch Cold Case after my bath.
Shirley, you are freakin' my out, gal! You've got to spray with something that has a residual effect----all corners, angles, crevices, etc. of porch and doorway!!! I have to do it here about once a week---and then I still watch carefully!
Have a good shift, Margy! Hope you got a nap tucked in to your busy day! Loretta, hope you get everything taken care of tomorrow, and that you aren't in too much pain. Sissy took Tom to the ER for his nail gun accident....soft tissue injury and an unhealthy dose of air in his arm. Ouch!
My daddy died when I was 25. I had never been to Michigan. Did not know my family up there. Since retirement Jack and I have gone up there. I got to know Daddy's cousins and they told me stories about him as a little boy. He had 4 girl cousins. Only one is left and she will be 94 in two days.
I read somewhere they were going to have new t-shirts with Lily and Hope on it. And "I hibernated with Lily and Hope". I want one but have not heard anything more about it.
Smells like Ramps in my fridge! Going to have them with fried potatoes and Country ham chunks for breakfast...ummm! We had a fun visit with Margy...she talks about Swinging Bridge and GG likes that, she spent many years as a youth in that area. Gene and I had many picnics over there as teens:)
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS SLEEP TIGHT MANY PRAYERS BEING SAID
Hi, Everyone, Dropping in a bit late to say howdy. Have been watching Nat Geo channel and a couple of pre-recorded shows.
Forgot to wish our Palmer a Happy 3rd week Birthday! That rascal sure is growing! Just amazing.
Prayers for Tom, for sure! That kind of injury sounds like it would be VERY painful! Hoping for a speedy recovery.
Shirley, I sympathize with your problem with the 8-legged freaks! We have the same type of thing every year. Residual spray does seem to help. Yuck!
Paula, hope your day was really special. Congrats on the good news regarding Michael's job!
Lolly, sorry to hear of the loss of a family member. ((HUGS))! You're in my prayers.
Going to say goodnight. Much to accomplish tomorrow, so must get a good night's rest. Prayers being said for everyone. (Loretta, hope your Dr. visit goes well!) The night light is on, thanks to Judie, the porch light is too, and the eye scanner security is ready to go. Sleep well, and have pleasant dreams. Good night, and God bless! Will talk to you in the morning. Love you guys! :o]
Wanda and Gene, nice story in the Martinsburg Paper today about the Soup Kitchen, I will send you the link... I just had it on here for a minute but realized..I should send it to you first...
This is a very nice story on our local Martinsburg Journal front page today and I have gotten the OK to share it with all our Momsters and Dadsters: Soup Kitchen Sweeties
Best wishes Captain and First Mate....it's a blessed mission... xo ♥
Well, Margy, you beat me to it. I was just getting the URL to post the great article about our Wanda and Gene!!! Earliest bird gets the worm!! Morning all.
Good morning! Great article about the soup kitchen, Capt. Gene and Wanda. Thanks for sharing, I am so proud to know them!!!
Going to be a busy day. I neglected the house yesterday, so I have to catch up on that. Also, heading to church to work on my garden there. It is screaming for attention. Was a little embarrassed yesterday...so gotta get busy. Then after that...well out to my own yard. A beautiful day in the making.

I had had (is that correct) my feet up!
Finished dinner sometime ago but did sit in front of TV watching the Masters
Checking out Palmer and Momma Minnie.
Lynne - Have a great beginning tomorrow! Do let us hear from you if only for a one liner about the job.
Judie said the night light is on....
I only have 1 TV show I am going to watch at 10:00 Cold Case.
Before anyone says anything I meant to

Hi all,
Sharon, hope Tom will be okay. Maybe just a battle scar when all is healed. Yes, Wolf Trap and Train this summer.
Shirley, maybe you could send your spiders to visit Boris. Oops, no don't do that -- might result in many little Boris babies.
Hope the bleach works Ragdoll and the basement will be okay.
Lynn, let me know about the Reese Lukei class tomorrow. Will be at school for extra office hours until 1pm. Ah end-of-the-semester Hail Mary's.
Looks as if Palmer is stuffing him/herself before sleep.
Just in case I fall asleep, I will leave the night light on for others. Goodnight, everyone. Prayers for everyone.

little fuzzy owls in view at MN
was very happy to see Phil Mickelson win the Masters:)
Momma Minnie Owl is moving off and around the hooties in the nest
Not sure if she is leaving or not
Thanks for the new thread, Steve and for the call-over, Lolly.

Watched a bit of the Masters. Yes, it was nice to see Mickelson win.
I just saw the Baby Owls for the first time. Little white puff balls. Cute!

comical looking..... I don't think they have a live feed for those owls.
But the daily pics are great.
The one little owlet we can see is quite active. I guess Momma Minnie is
feeding them right now. He is bouncing all around.

Well, I watched Minute to Win It tonight and laughed my tail off!
Time to say good night. I do hope my spiders did not scare Lynn away. Take care everyone. See you tomorrow.
Whew, thanks for the new thread, Steve!
Palmer is only 3 weeks old...he is still a baby, can't even walk on those big feet yet! He will be walking on them soon, and then he won't stop!
Had a wonderful birthday dinner with the kids and grandkids...I'm stuffed! Helped Michael pack up some stuff and load up his car before he left.
Did I tell ya'll he's going to be living in NJ after he graduates? The PT job he has will be full time! whoo hoo!

New video of Lily and Hope:
Lily and Hope
Double posting blog ghost!
Lolly, sorry you lost a distant cousin. :(
Yes, Toms injury sounds awful! I cringe when Jack comes from his workshop holding his hand. Has had injuries but no loss of fingers yet!
My daddy died when I was 25. I had never been to Michigan. Did not know my family up there. Since retirement Jack and I have gone up there. I got to know Daddy's cousins and they told me stories about him as a little boy. He had 4 girl cousins. Only one is left and she will be 94 in two days.
Cute video, wasn't it? Lily seems a little rough with that baby!
I thought she seems a little rough, but what do I know! lol I think Hope pesters her mom a lot, too.
I read somewhere they were going to have new t-shirts with Lily and Hope on it. And "I hibernated with Lily and Hope". I want one but have not heard anything more about it.
That's interesting, Lolly. Good that you could make those connections.
Well, dear fine fowl friends, I'll sign off for today. Prayers for so many in need of them. Peace.
I'm backkkkkkkkkkkk again.
TV show was running 10 minutes late - guess because of the Masters.
Sorry I missed everyone
Paula got the email & responded. Glad you had such a happy day today.
Headed back the hallway......
Good night All
Prayers for everyone
((((hugs to all)))) ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
I am off to get comfy myself.
Nite all! Sweet dreams!

Paula..thanks for the assurance you posted at 10:27 last night.
Go Palmer with the big feet..GO!
Palmer is getting a little pre-sunrise breakfast - he's wide awake and hungry, and of course, the cutest eaglet in the world!!!
Good morning!
Margy, earwigs have been showing up here, too. Not as upsetting as spiders, but I do not like them at all.
Must finish getting ready and head out the door. See you later. Palmer was alone at the nest for awhile, but parent has returned now.
Morning Stronghunter -
Everyone is in the nest at the moment. Beautiful family!
