04/12/10: We see our ospreys standing in the nest quite a bit. On a recent refuge visit, I saw a lot of ospreys vying for nests, so our adults might be protecting their territory.
Beautiful morning out there today for all to enjoy - Good morning.
I am so proud of knowing our Capt & 1st Mate and of their soup kitchen commitment! They will be rewarded each and every time they serve from the smiles and grateful expressions of those enjoying their meals and their friendliness.
It's not funny but I had to chuckle reading FB on Megan's smashed ring fingertip... One gal said Megan has a green thumb and now a purple fingertip - a very colorful hand! It has to hurt so much!
Sharon - you mentioned about Nest Visit 2010. No decision yet. Need some input as to the date. Soup kitchen is on Tuesdays and Saturday would be the Nest Visit. In the past it has been set up near the 11th week due to Fledging possibilty. Memorial day Saturday or 1st Saturday in June.
Lib just brought in a fish. Belle get a very aggressive look on face as if to say "don't even think about taking even a bit. That is for Palmer and I." Had to Laugh.
I am soooooo jealous. You guys are going for a nest visit. So how long would it take to drive from Maine to the nest???? I would love to meet you people.
Deb right "Ragdoll"...fly in for Open House in October and share time with more of us. Or you could fly in for this small group we can all get to know you and you us. ( :
Deb - Open House in October will give you more mingling time with all of us! I am guessing the weekend of the 15th or the 22nd. It will be posted on the NCTC home page.
Jim You get your plane reservation as soon as we know thatdate and get over here to the East Coast!
I know it's silly, but just seems to me that WE are the proprietary authorities on this nest, and I feel like we are being usurped by other places naming our eagle other names!!!
I guess if I can play devil's advocate, some of those people have been watching since 2006 also, and I think on their forums, blogs, or chat rooms what ever they are called, maybe they like the names that they give the eagles. I like our name, and I'm sure they like their names on their particular blogs.
Good afternoon, dear Ones, please continue to pray for Miss Kitty, my darling 10 year old cat. It is in God's hands as to His Will for her life. She is holding her own, but Doc is letting me bring her home to see how she responds. Suspecting a stroke. Love to all donna mauley
I missed the article about Wanda and Gene somewhere in my scatter brained lurking. Could someone email it to me or a link? And Sister Sharon I laughed for the first time in 4 days when you called our precious Palmer a little t--d. Way to go. He (or she) drives me crazy, too. Thanks donna
Mauley - prayers for Miss Kitty. Having lived for 10 years in good health and having your family's love, it will be difficult to let her go. As you say it is in His hands. I pray if it is her time that she will peacefully go in her sleep. ((hugs))
GOOD AFTERNOON... Just came from church a little while ago...soup is simmering on the stove, smells so good! Gene is buying groceries we need (hot dog buns, onions, etc.) I peeled potatoes for the soup until we ran out...need more. May throw in some frozen ones before serving tomorrow. Oh, I do hope we get a lot of hungry people. Will take photos and post them on Wednesday.
The article in the Journal had a few minor mistakes, but the biggest one was saying I was a volunteer at NCTC??? Hope Steve doesn't see that and ask where I have been volunteering:) I have volunteered myself to keep an eye on Palmer and will retrieve him if he falls from the nest;) I have posted the Journal article and the photo that went along with it on my blog...Just For Fun.
Lolly said.... Good morning! Great article about the soup kitchen, Capt. Gene and Wanda. Thanks for sharing, I am so proud to know them!!!
Going to be a busy day. I neglected the house yesterday, so I have to catch up on that. Also, heading to church to work on my garden there. It is screaming for attention. Was a little embarrassed yesterday...so gotta get busy. Then after that...well out to my own yard. A beautiful day in the making.
Have a great day everyone!
Nothing wrong with me! Had a sec and got back on blog. Could not find my earlier message! I had posted on yesterdays blog. DUH!!!
Prayers for Mauley's "Miss Kitty". I am a kitty lover too. Have two ragdolls. My heart and prayers are also with you Mauley.
Hedgie I agree with you on our nest and name. Especially, this name for Deb Palmer.
Wow!!! the egg cup is 1 foot deep and in one week Palmers wing span will be 3 feet wide. I still look at Palmer and picture he/she to be small enough to hold in my hands. Talk about cam distortion. Talk about a reality check.
Right, Deb. The perspective is so disallusioning. Palmer might fit in about 10 hands!!
Wanda, loved the article, despite the errors. Couple of questions: I remember the name Cressler's but can't for the life of me think where/when it was here....and did Picc's move to King and Raleigh corner at some point? Remember getting meat there when I first came, and thought it was Picc's. ???
WandaLOL The article in the Journal had a few minor mistakes, but the biggest one was saying I was a volunteer at NCTC??? Hope Steve doesn't see that and ask where I have been volunteering:) I have volunteered myself to keep an eye on Palmer and will retrieve him if he falls from the nest;) I have posted the Journal article and the photo that went along with it on my blog...Just For Fun.

My guess is that if they would let you , you would be glad to keep the lens clear of spidey too
Deb - Palmer would be a very big handful if not an armful at 3 weeks old.
I need to go Bridal shower shopping for my granddaughter this evening. Wedding is in May but there is the April shower. She is going to be a beautiful bride and she has a very handsome groom. This is Kristen's daughter.
Lynn, Cresslers was on Winchester Ave. Ext. Not sure what is there now?? Yes Picc's Market was, at on time, on the corner of Raleigh and King. Paul was like a father to Gene. He use to let Gene borrow the store truck for our dates (only had one seat...so I sat on a milk crate!:)), until Gene got his own car. I think his last store was on Moler Ave.Gene had to quit there and work with my dad at Amoco Oil. Dad had a very bad back and sometimes couldn't climb up into his truck. When dad retired, Gene went back into the meat cutting business...his last job was Manager of Food 4 Less until it closed. Dad was very ill by then, and GG had a second bout with cancer, so he decided to retire and help me out...that was in 2001. Dad died in Nov. of that year.
Last evening posting on FB I made a discovery! I said that Momma Owl was named Minni on their chat forum and that the Dad was called Soda! Then it HIT me.. Their nest location is in Minnesota.... Sometimes I am soooooooo slow I just couldn't get the 'soda' name..that is how it was spelled. Maybe they meant 'sota' ..... Live and Learn!
Oh good grief. Just got home from school and Palmer is causing me some real anxiety. Sure would like to see some toddling back toward the center of the nest.
GLO...if they would let me, I would climb that tree and hold an umbrella over them when it rains and put a net under the nest to catch Palmer.... Looks like I may have to run down there if Palmer doesn't behave himself! I'm not afraid of spiders, so that would be no problem for me to WIPE BORIS OUT!
Thanks, Wanda. I was afraid I was losing my mind about Piccs!! Didn't know they had gone out on Moler. Still can't place where Cressler's was.....oh, well, no big deal. Remember Gene telling the truck story, as well as about working for your Dad, and Food4Less!
We have a statue downstairs of a conquistador, which we named DeSoto and a neighbor's toddler used to call him SOTA. She was so afraid of him that she visibly trembled when she saw him...but, if we put a towel over his head she was OK:)
Lynn, I think Cresslers was where the law offices are now...Don't rember which ones they are, we have a gazillion lawyers in this town...can't afford any of them these days!
I agree with what Jo said about you distant Momsters and Dadsters making your plans for Oct.!! It's like a family reunion, and we want all y'all to come, so we can get to SEE you distant "relatives"!!
Hi, Gang, Just dropping in to say a quick hello before I hit the road running. Have LOTS to accomplish today, and so little time! A gazillion errands!
Loved the article about Wanda & Gene's soup kitchen! Good stuff!
Must've missed hearing about Megan's smashed finger--OOOOOOOOH, OWIE! Many prayers for a quick healing!
Absolutely gotta run now--will be back later tonight to chat a bit! BTW, it's still raining here, but nice and slowly and not a downpour any more. Love it! Have a good day, please keep an eye on Palmer for me, and I'll BBL. :o]
Leaving you information I have finally found out what stink bugs are good for:
Shield-shaped stink bugs survive by sucking sap out of plants. Despite their name, not everyone finds their “stink” (a defense mechanism) to be foul. These large, allegedly sweet tasting, bugs are especially popular in regions of East Africa and parts of Mexico.
"Stink Bugs" out West here are fairly large, shiny, black beetles, which lift their rears and spray a really nauseous smelling fluid when threatened.
I don't believe anyone would want to boil and 'gulp' these in anyway imaginable.
Various insects are eaten by people in certain places in the world though.... One is Brine Flies. They are collected, seasoned, formed into a pattie and fried, something like a hamburger on one of the big lakes in Africa.
I FINALLY got to see the nest a while ago without a freeze up. I was mighty nervous for a while when Palmer seemed to be backed up to the edge of the nest while being fed. Then went into tree hugging mode so I relaxed a bit.
I decided to try the live feed because the still cam here is so "glarey" and because of your comments.
Live feed is working great for me, especially in "Full Screen" mode.
I'm thinking Palmer is going to be a lady eagle when she grows up. Besides the appearance of large size generally, it looks like her feet are already bigger than Lib's are. Take a look....
Hey there Lynn, I mean Hedgie! Grannyblt is Lynn too but I am not sure if Lynne or Lynn.... how about that! A great name for some great ladies on here, with or without the "e"
dear Wanda your being at the nest when Nu was there last year, and also Mr and Mrs Steve, and heading down there with or without your camera card, and all the other things you and Gene do to promote the education and our presence there....and all the great photos... well, that's volunteering at its best! Bet the Soup Kitchen is really aromatic now! Hey - you could throw some ramps in the soup pot ☺
I also got a plant pot of miniature daffodils, and a Stella D'Oro plant..reminds me of cookies for some reason ☺ I love my Megan Flowers, it is Spring Summer and Fall for me
Yeah, Palmer all the way here....I think Spring is a nice name too, glad that others who have an interest in our nest and the Royal Family have their own way of thinking of Palmer, just know that we are commmitted to Palmer ♥
Afternoon Everyone! Gotta get the cam on & see the adorable shmoo!!! One day recently Palmer was laying under Belle's shadow, all stretched & the footsie did look long! I saw nest visit mentioned by Ragdoll~~~~did I miss something? Has one been set??
They just said on the news that Dixie Carter died from endometrial cancer. Don't remember hearing that hse had been ill, or diagnosed with that before. Maybe another situation like Deb's? :(
I think everyone has their own names for the eaglets on their own forums...here our eaglet is Palmer, and if we can spread the word, that's fine. If we're too late spreading the word, that's fine too. But here, it's Palmer!
I am out of here for a shopping spree with dil for bridal gife. Then on FRI other 2 daughters will shop with me again.(with their monies of course) lol
I hope all of you would click on my name and go see my New Blog named "MY GRAY FOX" it has 5 pictures and a wonderful time God gave me in my life. To rescue and raise one of Gods Creatures.
Palmer is feasting and just did a Super Poop Shoot. It almost hit my windshield!
Left a mess on that stick under the cam.
Palmer was too close to the edge several times today. I think he just gets exhausted trying to handle those wings. And those feet. Hope to see the toes wiggle again. Cute.
Hello it's me LYNNE2 checking in....so named because Granyblt was also Lynne with an E so she is really Lynne1!!!
Jim, awful news about that accident. Prayers for the victims and families.
DANA...HOW ADORABLE are those pictures and story of Summer the Fox!!! Interesting (although gross by my own tastes) about the eating of stinkbugs.
Great article about Wanda and Gene!
So sad to hear about Dixie Carter. I really liked her, especially in Designing Women. Interesting facts...Dixie was of course married to Hal Holbrook who played her significant other on the show, and Delta Burke was married to Gerald McRaney who played one of her ex's on the show AND Jean Smart was married in real life to the guy who played Mary Jo's boyfriend, JD. Now that I have bored you with all of that....
It's going OK Jo....the person I am "working" for is a private cat rescuer. Mostly I clean litter boxes, and then I help her medicate and give fluids to the older cats that need them. It's awfully hard on my back, though.
No, Jo...taping....been on phone with Christie for about 2 hrs....cauliflower ear here. Don't feel like concentrating hard...I'll watch it after my bath!
Good Grief, the evening has passed. Tried for a Panda nap this afternoon after appt., but didn't last long enough! Only got some energy after dinner. Now I've got Sheetz to get out of drier! Guess I can make it to Park, but might be standing room only ☺ Pleasant Feather Dreams and Prayers for All ;>)
Much cooler tomorrow...only in the 50's here....rain coming. Sounds like a good day to stay under the SHEETZ! Ha! No such luck---Miss Cinnamon would never let me do that! I may have to settle for the sofa with a cozy throw! One thing for sure...I am NOT building a fire! Done, done, done until at least Sept.!! Hey, Sharon....told Christie about Train at Wolf Trap....she went on to get tickets....NO decent seats left.
Goodnight, dear fowl friends. See you in the morning! Prayers for all.
Hi, Everyone! Well, crossed a big one off our list today--got our tax return e-filed, finally! Phew! Had a couple of questions to get answers about from school, and finally got that straightened out.
Prayers are continuing for all those who need healing--including Miss Kitty, Donna Mauley's cat! So sorry to hear that she's feeling so poorly--and hoping for a healing there! I bet being home in familiar surroundings with those she loves will help. Pray that it's not her time yet!
Was finally able to get the live feed tonight, and golly, just LOOK at how big Palmer is getting! Haven't seen him for a couple of days (no thanks to my cranky computer!), and hardly recognize him! Bless his heart!
Eeeeewwww! Can't imagine eating stink bugs! Especially the kind we have here on the west coast. They're big, black, and shiny, and downright ugly!
Lynn, (I think it was you) thanks for the link to the story about the Alaskan eagle who crashed. Hope she can eventually fly free again. Guess she's just fortunate to still be alive!
Have a TV program or two to go watch, so am leaving the night light burning, and the porch light's on, too. The eye scanner is enabled for lateniks. Prayers said for everyone, a special one for Chrissy and family! ((HUGS))!
Good night and God bless, everyone. Sleep tight! I'll talk to you in the morning. Love all you guys! :o]
Gosh, little Palmer is growing like a weed. Let's hope he stays the polite little boy/girl he or she is. Remember how greedy Hidey got when it came to eating as he got older? LOL!
He's been alone in the nest for a little while now. Belle may be on a branch above, but Palmer is certainly filling up a lot more of the nest than he did last week!
WildCareOklahoma We should get blood work back today. The eagle from Ada is improving. She tried to push past us when we cleaned her Monday. She lowered her head, put her shoulders on our hands and started pushing. Rather funny. Just like a line backer. Every spark in attitude is good improvment. You can see her on www.KFOR.com/eagle-cam.
It's weird how everything is blooming out of order this spring....we have lilacs in full bloom now and that's about 2 weeks sooner than normal. I know the redbuds are early by almost 2 weeks. The apple, pear and cherry trees, too. They've already bloomed and the blooms are falling off rapidly! Amazing what a week long heat wave will do!

Thank you for the new thread Steve. Have a nice day.
Good morning everybody!
Good morning.....update from BWO...
04/12/10:
We see our ospreys standing in the nest quite a bit. On a recent refuge visit, I saw a lot of ospreys vying for nests, so our adults might be protecting their territory.
Palmer is sound asleep under Belle's (I think its Belle) watchful eye.
Thanks for the call over.
Good Morning Everyone in Eagleland.
Mits I have thought of you often since my niece had that accident.Remembering your rib and her with 8 broken. No wonder they have her heavily sedated.
you got that right Dana....hoping she does not feel any pain.
Thanks for the new thread, Steve.
Here is Spring update #3 from Steve.
Spring Update #3 - April 12, 2010
Our eaglet continues to grow at a rapid rate. They usually fledge about 12 weeks after the hatch.
Lots of fish are coming up to the nest, so there is plenty of food-- it always helps to have the Potomac a 30 second flight away from the nest.
The adults have been leaving the youngster "alone" more often, but in reality there is always an adult perched within a few feet of the nest.
More soon as the eaglet continues to grow into a "teenager".
Good morning everyone. I see Megan is putting some colorful comments on Facebook today and it "ain't' flowers.
Hope everyone has good day.
Oh yes forgot to say how Cool to read that article about Wanda and Gene and continued prayers for the needs I know about.
Do we have a nest visit date yet?
We will have to make sure it is on a day where the Eagle Express Soup Kitchen is there to serve us!
I loved that article and I love our Wanda and Gene! Such selfless giving!
Great Palmer Poop Shoot over and out of the nest.
Beautiful morning out there today for all to enjoy - Good morning.
I am so proud of knowing our Capt & 1st Mate and of their soup kitchen commitment! They will be rewarded each and every time they serve from the smiles and grateful expressions of those enjoying their meals and their friendliness.

Going to check out emails.......

Poor Megan....know she has to be in pain.
I can feel the throbbing just by looking at it:(
Lib just brought in a fish. Belle get a very aggressive look on face as if to say "don't even think about taking even a bit. That is for Palmer and I." Had to Laugh.
Deb, you sure do know these eagles well! lol
OK Palmer. Stay where you are. Don't go getting to close to the edge.
I am soooooo jealous. You guys are going for a nest visit. So how long would it take to drive from Maine to the nest???? I would love to meet you people.
OOOOOH, I can't look. Palmer is to close for comfort. Lord please keep Palmer safe.
Wow, Palmer, that is pretty close to the edge, you little turd!
AAAAAhhh! I can breath again. LOL
Well, the first Saturday of June is T-bird's birthday so that would work. Memorial Day will probably be inconvenient for a lot of people.
Remember Jo not the 1st weekend in June--Community Yard Sale in here. I had mentioned that before.

Alaska Eagle Injured
Thank you for sharing the article on Wanda and Gene. Very nice article.
Wanda, you and Gene are nice, compassionate people.
We had some heavy rain .. including at least one cloudburst .. in the night.
And we are supposed to get some more yet this morning. The high should be somewhere around 60°.
I read that there was a multi-fatality accident in the rains north of L.A. in the early hours this morning. God bless them and take them to Himself.
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
I will start planning on October. I will watch for dates. Would be nice if I could do the nest visit also. Thank you.
I am still trying to learn everyones first names. I should probably start writing them down for a reference until I learn everybody. LOL
My nest feed stopped after 10:30 minutes. It stopped when Palmer was near the fish. It looked like Palmer was HUGGING the fish. To Funny.
Have you seen the Osprey female on the Finnish nest..the one surrounded by the frozen sea??
Looks like she has just arrived, dropped some fluffy stuff in the nest and is guarding it.
Wonder what she will eat until it thaws. Think they have fast food joints way north there??
C(°Ù¿°)D
Jim
Jim, I always remember your name!!
Prayers for all in car accident. Prayers for their families.
PH on Santa Cruz Is. is beginning to feed her chicks.

NBG class is text only on the NBG discussion board.
LUNCH TIME
JMHO, but it will make for a very long hour!!!
Greencashew's video-5 day old Palmer"s feeding
People are typing questions before they are supposed to. Lynn was NOT ME!!!
WHOA! On the Hancock Wildlife Foundation forum they call Palmer by the name of SPRING. I suppose that is because of the birthdate.
To get a good perspective on how the cam distorts things: Lukei says the nest bowl is about a foot deep.
Deb we probably all had our cheat sheets at one time or another. To help of keep track of who was who. At least I did. It helped a lot.
I saw that, Jo:)
I know it's silly, but just seems to me that WE are the proprietary authorities on this nest, and I feel like we are being usurped by other places naming our eagle other names!!!

Right you are, Mits.

The article was very very well written and those reading it should already appreciate you two!

OH MY!!Look at Palmer. That little bugger better get in the middle of the nest.
Be Back Later....Can't watch Palmer right now. eeeeeee!
My class is getting loud. Have to get them to focus again. ^..^
Right, Deb. The perspective is so disallusioning. Palmer might fit in about 10 hands!!

Oh Jo, that is sooo cute...Minnie--soda:) I never connected the two either...must be our age, huh?
Sometimes it just takes us a little longer, Wanda. After all we have soooo much info stored!
BTW----Outdoor's temp for S'town wrong again!!! It's a lovely 70º here, so not much different at nest.
We have a statue downstairs of a conquistador, which we named DeSoto and a neighbor's toddler used to call him SOTA. She was so afraid of him that she visibly trembled when she saw him...but, if we put a towel over his head she was OK:)

Oops---noticed my earlier sp. error---disIllusioning!
Lynn, I think Cresslers was where the law offices are now...Don't rember which ones they are, we have a gazillion lawyers in this town...can't afford any of them these days!
As long as Palmer doesn't back up to far for a poop shoot we're ok.
Palmer is pointed in the right direction.
Taking a short break.........
I agree with what Jo said about you distant Momsters and Dadsters making your plans for Oct.!! It's like a family reunion, and we want all y'all to come, so we can get to SEE you distant "relatives"!!
Check out Palmer at 6 in the nest...
Yes, Jo...my head is just like my old computer, so full of information that it s l o w e d way down and finally quit working. LOL

Just want to say, "IT'S 'PALMER', as far as I'm concerned, and that's it!!"
The wide angle effect of some of these nestcams drives me nuts too.
But I think this new camera we have this year is significantly better than the old one as far as distortion is concerned.

Leaving you information I have finally found out what stink bugs are good for:
Shield-shaped stink bugs survive by sucking sap out of plants. Despite their name, not everyone finds their “stink” (a defense mechanism) to be foul. These large, allegedly sweet tasting, bugs are especially popular in regions of East Africa and parts of Mexico.
http://news.softpedia.com/news/How-to-Eat-Alive-Stink-Bugs-58864.shtml
I seen a show were they boiled them in water, mashed them and then gulp.
Thank goodness - Adult with Palmer now
Afternoon snack!
Have I mentioned lately that I do NOT
like my live feed cut off timer!
BBL

Wanda's hand is very colorful isn't it?
I decided to try the live feed because the still cam here is so "glarey" and because of your comments.
Live feed is working great for me, especially in "Full Screen" mode.
I'm thinking Palmer is going to be a lady eagle when she grows up. Besides the appearance of large size generally, it looks like her feet are already bigger than Lib's are. Take a look....

Got ta take care of business.
Talk to you later.

OH yum, lets cook up some of those stink bugs for dinner!
Adult back in the nest
Oh, gross......can't imagine doing anything to make those 2 kinds of stink bugs palatable even for animals to eat.
Jim, full screen is great, isn't it?
Hi Andy and grannyblt! SO sorry....I've forgotten your real name...how are things in your part of PA? How is your mother doing?
Hey there Lynn, I mean Hedgie!
Grannyblt is Lynn too but I am not sure if Lynne or Lynn....
how about that! A great name for some great ladies on here, with or without the "e"

dear Wanda
your being at the nest when Nu was there last year, and also Mr and Mrs Steve, and heading down there with or without your camera card, and all the other things you and Gene do to promote the education and our presence there....and all the great photos...
well, that's volunteering at its best!
Bet the Soup Kitchen is really aromatic now! Hey - you could throw some ramps in the soup pot ☺
Hoping that Sissy's Tom's arm and Megan's colorful ring finger...are on the mend !

Colorful? Here's colorful!
Made my day yesterday!

I love my Megan Flowers, it is Spring Summer and Fall for me

God Bless Us, Every One
xo ☺ ♥
Yeah, Palmer all the way here....I think Spring is a nice name too, glad that others who have an interest in our nest and the Royal Family have their own way of thinking of Palmer,
just know that we are commmitted to Palmer ♥
Afternoon Everyone!
Gotta get the cam on & see the adorable shmoo!!!
One day recently Palmer was laying under Belle's shadow, all stretched & the footsie did look long!
I saw nest visit mentioned by Ragdoll~~~~did I miss something? Has one been set??
Sorry, read back & see no visit is scheduled, just thoughts about it.
Jo, Phyrfly is Dana! I remember that one! Margy is right....I think Lynne2 is what we decided to call grannyblt.
Jo, maybe we should aim for the Sat. before Memorial Day for a nest visit.
Thanks for the info from Reese...very informative.
Minne Sota...I get it now, Jo.
If you catch the message on the live feed, are you still watching, and you click YES, it will keep on going now!
Wanda & Gene -nice article despite the mistakes! Nobody's perfect! Hope you are eaten out of church and kitchen!
And by the time I saw that on the Hancock forum several weeks ago, it was too late to spread the word!
I remember Dana for Phyrfly now.
I am out of here for a shopping spree with dil for bridal gife. Then on FRI
other 2 daughters will shop with me again.(with their monies of course) lol
BBL
I hope all of you would click on my name and go see my New Blog named "MY GRAY FOX" it has 5 pictures and a wonderful time God gave me in my life. To rescue and raise one of Gods Creatures.
Hello Eagle People.
I am home from shopping and did get what we wanted for the shower.
Latest update for Mason
Lynne2 Did today at work go well?
It's going OK Jo....the person I am "working" for is a private cat rescuer. Mostly I clean litter boxes, and then I help her medicate and give fluids to the older cats that need them. It's awfully hard on my back, though.
Headed to 10:00 TV show - Damages....
Are you with me Hedgie?
No, Jo...taping....been on phone with Christie for about 2 hrs....cauliflower ear here. Don't feel like concentrating hard...I'll watch it after my bath!
Chris won another set of movie tickets from the radio station. We're going to see The Last Song Thurs. (Nicholas Sparks' latest).
Sorry, Lynne2.....I got confused! I KNOW you are 2 and granny Lynne is 1.....just got mixed up; easy to do at my age!
Did you watch Brothers and Sisters? I watched Army Wives...will watch Bs tomorrow
Falling asleep on my keyboard!
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SWEET DREAMS
PRAYERS FOR ALL.
Yep, Lynne, I watched B&S this morning, and Army Wives last night.
Goodnight, drowsy Wanda!!
Oh you will love watching Damages...
I am going to head back the hallway after checking out a few cams and closing down FB
Good Grief, the evening has passed. Tried for a Panda nap this afternoon after appt., but didn't last long enough! Only got some energy after dinner. Now I've got Sheetz to get out of drier!
Guess I can make it to Park, but might be standing room only ☺
Pleasant Feather Dreams and Prayers for All ;>)
Funtime video of Lily and Hope!
Lily&Hope
Goodnight, Loretta! Are you feeling better???
Sleep tight, Jo. BTW---was watching Jeopardy and felt something hit my side...yep, it was a stink bug. ARGH!!
Everything is cool and calm at the cams
Good Night All and prayers for everyone
So many need healing prayers!
((((hugs)))) ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Forgot......Wanda and Gene, best wishes for tomorrow. May this be a grand success!!!!!!
Good morning everyone in Eagleland!
Isn't he the cutest? ☺
Good Morning Eagle ♀'s and ♂'s
Yes, Lori, I agree, Palmer IS the cutest
Isla at Loch of the Lowe's has her first egg
just saw it
Have a good day everyone
Good Night...xo
Good morning all!
Palmer all alond :(
That doesn't look like an osprey at BWO
can't really tell if that's another kind of bird or an illusion!
it's not moving so I guess it's an illusion!
oh no this is too funny....Minnie and Soda (which took me a while to get) and now babies are Bound and Determined!!!! Too funny!
OK now osprey in the nest
Palmer still alone
Hi Lynne 2 and Mags.
Palmer is still alone. Think Belle is just waiting for the breakfast delivery, or do I have go down there and feed him? LOL!
There's been no one in the nest with Palmer for at least an hour and a half... Hmmmmm.
well, he doesn't seem to be upset at the moment...but wow, he's really been alone a long time.
Hi Lynne2,
I'm glad you're keeping an eye on him too. I don't know that she's left him alone this long yet.
I don't know if he's been left alone this long either Lori, but I "assume" a parent in very near.
On FB regarding the OK eagle
WildCareOklahoma We should get blood work back today. The eagle from Ada is improving. She tried to push past us when we cleaned her Monday. She lowered her head, put her shoulders on our hands and started pushing. Rather funny. Just like a line backer. Every spark in attitude is good improvment. You can see her on www.KFOR.com/eagle-cam.
I bet you're right Lynne.
This is why I didn't have children!
BREAKFAST IS SERVED AT THE NESTAURANT!
Good morning everyone! The whole family is in the nest, there went Lib I think. Fish for breakfast this morning!
Me too Lori! Always said if I had ever had kids I'd have to be on a valium drip!
ADULT IN THE NEST - finally!
Dang Sissy - I've been watching Palmer waiting for an adult to show up and you just sign on and the whole family arrives!
He's been by himself since I checked in at 7 something this morning.
You must be the lucky charm!
Alright Sissy and Lynne2, you guys have a fabulous day. Time to get going for me. BBL.
Lori
bye Lori!
I just love all those little noises he makes!
my bluebirds have built a nest in one of the boxes but no eggs yet!
Rain has come to the nest...Palmer under cover!
Good morning! Just discovered this and I am sure you will enjoy it!
Cardinal nest in San Antonio
Just saw the mom feeding wide open mouths!
Just put 2 pics on my blog of BWE chicks that you can really see the size and feather/coloring difference.
