Ceil, you have done it again! Happy New Thread! lol
Thanks Steve for the new thread.
Good morning all! Forgive my bad manners last night, I fell sound asleep in my chair witht the computer on my lap. When I did wake I was so groggy I just went straight to bed.
As you can see....we are not in Denton for the boys games. All athletic fields were closed because of rain during the night. We would go on up there except this is race weekend, so we are just avoiding possible traffic problems.
♫♫ Paula's at the the hospital, Paula's going to be a grandma again! ♫♪♫ ☺ ♥ Just how exciting is that! I am right there with you Jo, on those babies!!!
A little bit late (because I didn't know about it until today!) but big thanks and appreciation to our very own 911 Telecommunicator Margy (Magpie) on this last day of National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week!
The following article in our local paper is about one of her co-workers, but the 2nd small picture shows Margy in the middle (in red and black):
Shirley, sure hope you get to feeling better. Mock drill sounds like fun! They stage those here a few times a year, but I think mostly on Sats. Bet the kids loved it!
Talking about babies and grandma's: when Carolyn had Jessica, Chris and I left around 11pm; she went first because she needed to get gas. I walked out and left my keys on the kitchen table!! Tried to break in to my own house with no luck. Was going to walk a mile to a little country store to use pay phone but it was too dark---no moon! Sat for 2 hrs. (hearing phone ring and ring) until my BIL came to find out where I was and what was wrong!! Luckily, I didn't miss anything! She ended up having a c-sec 10 hrs. later!
we joked that kathryn almost gave birth at the vet's, though that is not really true.
kathryn, tom, and susan picked george up at the vet's after having left the hospital when it was decided she wasn't quite ready to stay there yet. while they wewe getting george, she went into real labor, so susan informed the people there that her sister was in labor in the parking lot. they made a quick meowing-lamaze-breathing trip to deliver george to my house and back to the hospital. kathryn's labor wasn't over until early the next morning.
i think the kids really enjoyed the mock crash presentation. i hope the serious part of the presentation got across to them as well.
Well, I just have never been interested in the races. To me it is a useless life threatening activity! I do think the week long tailgateing would be fun! I am always amazed at all the RV's.
Best part of both Laurel's boys being born as I was right there with her. When Jacob was born I was supporting her leg, I was on one side, Joey on the other. Truly miraculous!
At least Hope hid herself behind the tree. Soooooooo cute with that Backing Up. It did remind me of Palmer and others as to how they back up to get to the edge.
No, Dana, no snow....too warm---80 when storms started; 60 last evening; think there was hail in some places, tho'. SOmeone mentioned seeing it at our nest. Possible snow in western MD tonight! Hope it stays up there!!
Lolly I wanted to expess to you. I think a lot of us have the same sad feelings you are having for Deb Palmer at this time. This time of year she would be sending us pictures and probably already into kayaking. I know I have share those tears too.
Making the egg cup a little deeper. Parent knows it is going to be cold tonight. Getting fluff closer in for our Palmer.
Photos are uploading...home to dry one load of clothes, then head down to Mom's to mow. Also got a better offer on the house that I am going to look at.
Baby's name is.....
Gianni Katheryn

She's a chunky monkey! You'll see in the pics :)
She's already nursed.
Mom, Dad and baby are doing fine...just tired...no sleep, they arrived at hospital at 4:30 am, John called me at 6:30, she was 5cm then, I got there at 7:05, and she was born an hour later. Everything went very smoothly.
Sorry I had to leave and everyone was talking to me and I was gone. Paula She is beautiful. She doesn't look new born. Lynn hope Carolyn gets the job. Lolly and Mits I have something but it isn't isp. And the mystery has been solved Bears do poop in the woods.
Paula, this is S-O-O-O-O-O exciting!! So happy for you! Can't wait to hear more. :o] Ready for a really joyful story! :o]
Have been in a real funk since yesterday... Our trigger-happy neighbor has been at it again! :o{ We called the cops on him this morning, because we actually SAW him with a BB gun to his shoulder, aiming at our big trees and shooting--maybe 10 or 12 shots! Yesterday I had to clean up our yard; 2 dead adult Black-crowned night herons out there. Another one in the front yard early this morning. Talk about upsetting!!!! The policeman called me and talked to me before he went and talked to the neighbor. He said he could actually ARREST the guy on MY word, since I actually SAW him shooting. Sort of like a citizen's arrest. I didn't want to go that far, though. Afraid to p__s the guy off. The policeman gave him a STRONG warning, and told him that SEVERAL people had called about it, so we wouldn't be singled out. VERY upsetting, though. Next time, will try to get a flashless picture of the guy if possible. It's been quiet back there for a while now, but almost afraid to go fill the bird feeders and water the patio plants--let alone, sit at our patio table! Grateful that none of our windows are broken, though. Just gives me a lousy feeling in the pit of my stomach to think that we have a neighbor whose first reaction to being annoyed is to grab a firearm! (Wonder what OTHER kinds of guns he's got back there!) Oh, my, so sorry to rant and rave so, but just had to vent! Did call and tell Sis-in-law that if anything ever happens to Hubby or me under suspicious circumstances, to be sure to mention the wacko neighbor to the authorities! Am going to gather up some courage and go water the poor dry patio plants and fill the bird feeders, with the hope that our feathered friends will be safe--not to mention, me too!
Thanks, Ceil--I think I really will pursue it further if this sort of thing happens again. Just don't feel at all comfortable about this neighbor.
Paula, what great pictures! That little new person is a real sweetie! You are going to have SO much fun with her!!! Your happy story has done a lot to cheer me up, too! TY!
Shirley, hope you get to feeling MUCH better real soon! I have a problem with an irritable bowel (our daughter has actually been diagnosed with IBS), and when it flares, must take Immodium to quiet it down. Pretty annoying at times, and know it must put a real monkey wrench into your schedule at school! Prayers for your speedy improvement!
Thanks for the kind words, Andrea and everyone else. It does play havoc with my school schedule. I am fortunate to have mostly good classes.
I suppose I am crazy to keep teaching the SAT classes, but I do enjoy it. I have the next two Monday nights for that. I will take it as it comes. I enjoy working with students who are in class because they want to be.
Just learned recently that our school board decided to eliminate two English positions and two math positions in our county. Since two English teachers have resigned, we won't have any English teachers riffed. Don't know how it will play out in the math departments.
Last year, we had a French teacher and a Latin teacher who were laid off. The economy is hurting our schools.
The English teacher who resigned was teaching the remaining French class. I guess we won't offer French next year, although it may be available by way of Virtual High School.
Andy, so sorry about your awful night. Can understand your reluctance to press charges....same reason I can't even call and report the things my neighbor does. It stinks! Please be very careful and wary!!
What a beautiful little gal! Can't wait to hear of her brothers meeting her for the first time! Mom & Dad sure look proud. And you Paula have already held her! BEAUTIFUL DAY !
What Blessed News, Welcome to Our World, Gianni, and Congratulations to the entire family, new baby, parents, brothers, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and so on and wonderfully so on. The pictures are adorable. xoxoxoxoxoxo (( hugs ♥ ))
Andy Miserable story on your neighbor and his murderous ways...I am so sorry to hear of the night-crowned herons' death I hope a solution will present itself without your having to get too directly involved Prayers for that miserable soul that he may be converted !
Thanks for the kind words and the link, Lynn and to all of you also. Not to sound vain, but if you click on the little picture you can see all of us a little better Red, my late sister's favorite color ♥ ...also was the same outfit I wore to last year's Open House Friday night dinner
My 22 year anniversary at the job is on April 25 it takes a lot out of a person, not the least of which is the shift work...but the sad and bad calls are what takes the most out of a dispatcher
Shirley When I was active with the volunteer rescue squad, we did some of those mock presentations, with "intoxicated persons and injury" sounds like your student did an excellent job! Bravo!
The state police and the rescue and fire people put on quite a show for us. I talked to a man who happened to come into the school while things were going on. (A sales guy from Jostens.) He said that it scared him at first. He thought something awful was going on at the school, but figured out that it was not a real crash when he saw all of the students watching.
I have one student in training to be a paramedic who participated and a couple of others who were in charge of planning the event. They did very well.
I also noticed one of my former students who was involved in the make-up application. He wants to be a director, and has already gotten quite a bit of recognition for his work. Pretty good for a senior in high school. Some of the close-up shots show how well the make-up people did.
Hey Margy...I smell Ramps cooking in the kitchen along with Shake n Bake chicken:) We have been sooo busy this week...have not had time to cook the ramps, but they are still fresh! Had a few GG emergencies this week and have had to do a lot of TLC to bring her through. Emergency doctor visit yesterday, but she was a hoot last evening for our family night. She entertained us for a while in her Wild PJs. See photos on JUST FOR FUN:)
Margy hope shift goes well. I know you are excited on little nephew ( :
Lynn-Hedgie hope Carolyn quickly is presented with a job offer.
Welcome and drop on in on the comments JOYCE.
Shirleyyou live Culpeper, Va? Do you know a lady Mrs. Keyes her husband passed and her son Dallas sold his home in Inwood and moved back home to help his mother out.
Watching an OLD John Denver concert on PBS (MPT). A guy in the audience had on what looks like a suede or velour shirt with a BEAUTIFUL eagle's head embroidered on it!!
In case you missed it on FB, Sissy has George the Eagle at the campsite this weekend. I told her she better chain him so no one steals him!
BTW...article this morning in the paper about a dead manatee found along the Patuxent may be the same one seen in the Chesapeake Bay last summer.......poor thing. Too decomposed for necropsy.
Very confusing post on Santa Cruz update. Poster said she is leaving to move on to another project for her masters' program...everyone assuming it was Stephanie, but post was signed by Helen...someone questioned it, but no response....don't kow who Helen is, but Stephanie sure has been a real trooper, hasn't she?! Best wishes to her!!
Finished dinner. Still raining. Had not heard a report but Laurel said a couple of inches before it ends tomorrow night. Guess that will really affect the race tomorrow. lol Laurel said the boys played in the rain all day. She has a ton of wash.
I'm watching it, too, Jo. Did you watch the other one last week? Think it was called At Risk....same main players, except for one. Love Cornwell's books, especially the Scarpetta eries.
LOL Margy, your baby beat my baby! What a whopper! Congrats!
And congrats to you Wanda, you figured it out! Ajay wanted to name the baby a feminine form of Johnie, after John. So her grandfather came up with Gianni (Italian for John) which is actually pronounce Jawhnee, but they are going with the G-ann-ee pronunciation. I actually wanted Gianna, since Gianni is the male version.
But Ajay is set on the I not the A, but it is a lovely name anyhow. The Katheryn is for my Mom and the Katherine's on her side of the family as well.
Cohen was excited to see Gianni! They told him the baby was no longer in Mommy's tummy, and he had a look of wonderment on his face. They told him to look in the bassinet. "Wowww", he said.
Ajay should be coming home on Monday. She is doing good today and so is Gianni. Stopped in Frederick on way home, John and I went to dinner, Ajay had GF's in the room for dinner.
We went to Best Buy, and I helped John pick out a laptop for her birthday, which is next Sunday. I bought her a laptop bag, mouse and flash drive.
And oh, yes, signed another contract on the house, for the current asking price in full, no contingencies.
Remember seeing that baby moosie a couple of yeara ago, Lolly! Precious.....ya' know, "kids" are all alike, regardless of species. Don't care what ANYBODY says, animals think and feel and laugh and play and cry and grieve, just like humans!!
A 16 y.o. is on the run from TN for killing 2---sounds like they may have been policemen. He stole a uniform, and COULD be in this area on his way to PA. Unbelievable.
I will say my goodnights now...heading for tub shortly. Chilly night, but wind has stopped---finally!!! Saw the pretty crescent moon earlier. Sleep well, friends. Love all y'all. Prayers.

Have you seen the size of the moss clumps in the Finland nest??? Any room left for the birds?? LOL!
kathryn ended up with c-section also.
what an adventure, lynn
It was definitely a "duh-stupid me!" moment, Shirley!
Very breezy here today....don't think I can work outside in it. At least the rain has tamped down some of the pollen.
No, Mits, the race is NOT for me. Guess I am not a redneck. However, I have been around that track at over 100mph! It was scary, but fun!
Lolly, heard about your rain predictions. We had a lot of games rained-out yesterday, too.
Have been over checking out fb and watching Hope videos. I wanna a little bear of my very own! lol
I am off to clean. My house will be very thankful!
Have a good day! I'll be back....!
Will they cancel the race?
Good Lord, I'm not a redneck, thank God, but I do find the races interesting.
yeah if the weather is too bad
It is raining now. We have had over a half inch. THAT IS ENOUGH!
It will be August before we dry up!
when the race is in Dover, alot of people stay south in ocean city, the ones I met last year that rented a condo were from upstate NY

Well, I just have never been interested in the races. To me it is a useless life threatening activity! I do think the week long tailgateing would be fun! I am always amazed at all the RV's.
They have done that for several years at our hs, Shirley. I do hope it impresses the kids!
yeah pretty much like footbal, but with cars.
Best part of both Laurel's boys being born as I was right there with her. When Jacob was born I was supporting her leg, I was on one side, Joey on the other. Truly miraculous!
I am pulling a Margy! Yikes! Said I was going to leave, but keep coming back. You all are such great company! ♥
BBL
i was there with kathryn until they decided on a c-section. i turned the duties over to tom then.
Good Saturday windy morning in Eagleland To ALL.
Margy always looks pretty. I do like in her that red and black outfit. She is a "special lady".
Shirley why typing with one hand?
Paula helping I'm sure to deliver her grandchild. ( :
must lie on my side to complete a medical treatment, dana.
Well Shirley then you could use some Eagle Prayers ( :
well, thanks, dana. i am enjoying everyone's company while i am restricted in my movements. i do enjoy my comfy recliner, too.
our cute little palmer is truly growing.
Ceil I see on other thread you and Jim were at the Outlets in Hagerstown. You wasn't very far from me either.
Thanks Paula (I know this isn't as important as what you doing now BABY). Thanks for posting the Indiana eagles on the other thread.
Palmer eating spagetti
Good Morning All
Palmer is well taken care of by parent.
The sunshine is beautiful
Quite breezy
i see the spaghetti.
With this being Ajay's 3rd birth - I pray it will be speedy for her. Anxiously awaiting Paula to pop in here with an announcement!
Good morning. Jo! Yes, eagerly awaiting an announcement from Paula here, too.
Have to laugh!!! BEar cam lauding little Hope on her defecating on her own!! Bet it's happened before---just not in view of a camera!!!
Morning Jo ( :
lol Hedgie-Lynn about Hope
So Hope pooped in the woods. Isn't that what bears are supposed to do? I did not know that mom had to help. Interesting.
Good morning everyone. Sounds like the blog is a-buzz with news about a grand baby.
It was fun watching Palmer eating spaghetti. It also looks like Palm took another growth spurt.
The TH nest was having something of a feathered meal. They were right in front of camera. Up close and personal.
Oh. Bears do not have poop shoots?
Wonder if Charmin was there? lol
Congratulations Ceil you will make a great volunteer. I love the Baltimore National Aquarium.
Hedgie-Lynnwas there any snow mix in yesterday with the rain?
Hungry. Going to go find some food.
At least Hope hid herself behind the tree. Soooooooo cute with that Backing Up. It did remind me of Palmer and others as to how they back up to get to the edge.
Hope sure can climb trees!
Headed back the hall for street clothes
p.s. I am very anxious to get a guided tour from Ceil of the aquarium.
I remember going to zoo with family and Mits being there. That was a fun day.
Foggie and wet at Milford Conn today. Don't know if that is a glove or just something whitish gray in the nest.
No, Dana, no snow....too warm---80 when storms started; 60 last evening; think there was hail in some places, tho'. SOmeone mentioned seeing it at our nest. Possible snow in western MD tonight! Hope it stays up there!!
Wow what a beautiful look at the Osprey nest in New Hampshire. Adult just flew off nest. I can't see any eggs. So don't know if they laid any yet.
Checked the Hope video. How cute.
At least Hope shows a little modesty for her young age.
The PH chicks are in full view. They are growing fast. They are 2 weeks behind Palmer.
The TH nest is one week behind.
At least I think so.
Good Morning Everyone. What a beautiful picture!
Palmer is moving closer to the cam.
So we can get a better look.
Any feathers coming out?
I'm reading that Paula is awaiting GD at hosp!!! How exciting & great timing, too!
Ikkkeeeesss Palmer is going to need Mom to keep him warm tonight!
PPS.
Headed out for a few hours
Be back mid afternoon
Hope there is a message from Paula by then - for Ajay's sake.
Paula may need to take off tomorrow to keep her grandsons! ((hugs))
Palmer just picked up some fluff and relocated it. Must be anticipating a very cool evening.
Good afternoon!
Granddaughter has arrived! Ajay and baby are doing fine! 3 pushes!
Working on some pics, back in a few minutes!
Yay, Paula! Congratulations!

Hi, Everyone,

Andrea I know the feeling. Have a neighbor who is not very nice to his dogs but have to be afraid of him Although when he hit one I did go after him.
TY!
Belle has something in her beak and trying to stay still on that windy nest.
Caught here here just a tad...
congrats Margy!
good luck Carolyn!
Lolly, sorry the game got rained out!
Gotta go fold clothes and head out. Catch you all later. Thanks for all the hugs, kisses, wishes, compliments and prayers!
Love ya'll ♥♥

Andy, you have a bunch of witnesses on here that can say you have been complaining about this guy for some time.
Palmer is oblivious to the winds. All zonked out taking a Palmer nap.

I can't seem to open NCTC this A.M. No live or still cam. How about you all??
But I got into the blog instantly.
It's a hazy, coolish morning here in So Cal, but it looks like the mid 70's tops according to the Weather Channel.

My blog is acting up but the cam is clear.

There are high winds at the nest. Belle got in the egg cup to watch over Palmer. Too difficult to stand on the edge of the nest today.
The still cam would not come up for me either.
I tried the live cam in another browser and had no problem with it.
Looks like Palmer tried to squeeze into the egg cup too. Sure is windy there!
It looks like Lib that just now showed up with a whole lot of nesting fluff.
Looks like Palmer just took over the nest cup.
Time to get going. BBL.
Andy, so sorry about your awful night. Can understand your reluctance to press charges....same reason I can't even call and report the things my neighbor does. It stinks! Please be very careful and wary!!
Baked my pineapple upisde-down cake....sure smells good!! Time to invert it.
Congratulations to everyone, Paula. Good health and long life to Gianna. Lovely pictures. Thank you for sharing.
Shirley, sure do hope you feel better quickly. Can't be much fun.
Lynn, wishing Carolyn success with the job. What fun working with/near Margy.
Congratulations, Ceil. Does this mean we shouldn't eat fish?
Andy, I wish you and Lynn could get rid of the unpleasant neighbors.
What a beautiful little gal! Can't wait to hear of her brothers meeting her for the first time! Mom & Dad sure look proud. And you Paula have already held her! BEAUTIFUL DAY !
Waiting for a twiggle.
Hedgies advice was good about the neighbors.
Shucks, I may have missed a twiggle. The talons are tucked.
Two RTH chicks are wrestling, the other could care less and dozing.
My feet are going up for less than an hour when it will be time to go to Mass.
Be Back before I leave.........
RTH mom came back, sat down on the chicks. Stopped that fighting right away!
First time seeing 2010's baby. Was wondering what was wrong w/sound?
I'm from down under but really am enjoying the live stream. Was wondering what was wrong w/sound.
Hello Joyce. Welcome. I don't know what has happened to the sound. I have not heard it do that before.
Something is definitely wrong!
Have you been watching for a long time, Joyce?
Hi,
Whatever was the matter this morning, I am able to get the still and live feeds now, no problem.

Well I'm back as promised before going off to evening Mass. Everyone take care - Hello Joyce - sorry I don't have time to visit..
Joyce be sure the live feed is still on - it stops every 10 minutes & of course the sound would stop.
Be back early evening........
Live feed picture is working just fine here, but there is an annoying static on the sound.
Mostly eaten fish, it looks like, brought to the nest and guarded by parent (Belle?). Other parent flew away and Palmer is being fed.
What Blessed News, Welcome to Our World, Gianni,
and Congratulations to the entire family, new baby, parents, brothers, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and so on and wonderfully so on.
The pictures are adorable.
xoxoxoxoxoxo (( hugs ♥ ))
I see the New Baby news put you back to caps, Shirley ☺
Hope you will be feeling better soon
xo
Good Afternoon everyone
My niece delivered overnight also, C-Section, 9 lbs 12-oz first baby,
his nickname will be "Max"
just like Diann's grandson ☺
also have another grand-niece celebtating her 7th birthday this day ☺
Great day for birthing babies
Paula is like the energizer bunny...she just keeps on going and going, hope the thoughts of baby will make the mowing go better
and good wishes for a better offer on her dear Mother's house
Andy
Miserable story on your neighbor and his murderous ways...I am so sorry to hear of the night-crowned herons' death
I hope a solution will present itself without your having to get too directly involved
Prayers for that miserable soul that he may be converted !
Parent at our nest keeping our "little" Palmer warmed up during this cool spell
Thanks for the kind words and the link, Lynn and to all of you also.
Not to sound vain, but if you click on the little picture you can see all of us a little better
Red, my late sister's favorite color ♥ ...also was the same outfit I wore to last year's Open House Friday night dinner
My 22 year anniversary at the job is on April 25
it takes a lot out of a person, not the least of which is the shift work...but the sad and bad calls are what takes the most out of a dispatcher
at least we are safe and protected indoors, while the emergency providers are the ones that REALLY have to battle the "elements"
22 years of telling people where to go! No wonder I am so bossy sometimes :(
Palmer and Mom getting some Vitamin D now ☼
hope the clouds clear so we can see Baby Moon tonight in the WEST after sundown
Shirley
When I was active with the volunteer rescue squad, we did some of those mock presentations, with "intoxicated persons and injury"
sounds like your student did an excellent job! Bravo!
Enjoyed your narrative about Hunter's birth too ☺
Yackity-Yack
I guess I have Magpie-ed enough here will leave room for others
time for another 12 hours at work soon
Best wishes for all good things, prayers for wellness and comfort, and grateful prayers for wonderful gifts given
See you all on Sunday sometime
xoxo ♥
Margy, congrats on your new grand-niece!!! Is this Dewayne's daughter? Big girl!!!
Hi Margy!
Margy, just discovered that the small photo can be enlarged.
Hey, that's 2 momsters in the Journal this week:)
CONGRATS to Paula and her family on the birth of Gianni (maybe pronounced, Johnni?)
Yes, congrats, Margy on the new addition to the family.
LOL, Margy....bet sometimes you would like to tell some people WHERE to go!!! 22 years! Way to go, gal! Keep up the good work.
Hi Margy, have a quiet shift and congratulations to you on the new grandniece.
Hi Joyce. Welcome to our blog family.
Hey Jim and Wanda -- nice you two stopped by.
Hi Jo.
Off to look for dinner inspiration -- after grading 47 of 100 papers today, I need something really, really good!
BBL
Hi everyone. Checking in and see we have some really good news.
Congrats to Paula and family and happy birthday Gianna.
Also, congrats and blessings to Margy and family - happy birthday Max.
... later
Wanda, so sorry that GG is having more problems......:(
The Sidney chick is getting fed.
The chick will get to eat a lot since there is no sibling competition. Like Palmer. lol
Good evening! What is with the cam? Had to turn the sound down, the drip drip sound is very annoying.
CONGRATULATIONS PAULA AND FAMILY! Gianni is beautiful, pictures are beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
It has continued to rain on and off all day. All the drying up that has taken place the last few weeks has been wiped out! Grrrr!
Congratulations Margy on the new little great nephew. Babies, babies, babies!
Does anyone know how to contact OC about the drippy noise?
Paula usually takes care of cam problems. Maybe she will check in later.
Maybe it's a woodpecker on the next tree.
If it is a woodpecker, it has a problem......a serious problem. lol
Yes. He will have no beak left at this rate.
just go to the bottom of the page under OC where it says contact us
Margy hope shift goes well.
Do not recognize the name, Dana, but I do not live in Culpeper.
I drive there every day to work, but I live about 30 miles from my job.
Oh ok Shirley hope you are starting to feel better.
Bad Bad neighbor of Ceils
Bad bad very very BAD neighbor of Andrea's. Keep your head low.
Lynn-HedgieYou've got mail...
I feel pretty good, Dana. Just have to deal with the issues.
Hope you are doing well, Dana. How are your eyes?
WildWatchCams...Blue Bird
1st egg of the 2010 season
and momma only gave me a brief look she is back on the egg.
Whoo Hoo! The Blue Bird has returned.
Thanks Mits for the heads-up!
Lady Blue Bird's egg is all alone
on the Wildwatch cam
Pretty bluebird egg. Wonder what color it is?? Thanks, Mits!
Put my new hummer feeder out yesterday. Haven't seen any action----probably too windy today for them to be flitting about!
GEORGE certainly is a conversation piece, especially when Sissy puts beads on him:)
BTW...article this morning in the paper about a dead manatee found along the Patuxent may be the same one seen in the Chesapeake Bay last summer.......poor thing. Too decomposed for necropsy.
Goodnight everyone. Sleep well and peacefully.
Thoughts and prayers for all who need them.
Rest your weary eyes, Judie! What, 60 to go??? ARGH!! SLeep tight.
Finished dinner. Still raining. Had not heard a report but Laurel said a couple of inches before it ends tomorrow night. Guess that will really affect the race tomorrow. lol Laurel said the boys played in the rain all day. She has a ton of wash.
Watching a 9:00 TV movie - Patricia Cornwell's "The Front"
Will need to read this evening's comments when finished..... Love the actors....
Good evening, all!
Finally back home, it's been a long day, but a very good one.
Not caught up yet. How is everyone?
How was our Palmer today?
I'm watching it, too, Jo. Did you watch the other one last week? Think it was called At Risk....same main players, except for one. Love Cornwell's books, especially the Scarpetta eries.
Make that SERIES!
Paula, you need to hit the sheetz!!! Will Ajay and Gianni be coming home tomorrow?? Bet the boys are excited!
Brensin, who is 2, just said Baby, baby. :)
I'm pooped!
Oh I hear the noise on our cam, sounds like a record is over that needs to be taken off the turntable!
What a day, Paula!!
Sounds like you had a full, but exciting and fulfilling day, Paula. Bet you sleep like a baby tonight:)
Yes, Wanda, I believe I will! Trying to get the last doggie in so I can turn in!
Had to share this one with you all:
Baby Moose
Oh, Paula, so good that you got that contract!! Much less uncertainty!! GOod luck!
Remember seeing that baby moosie a couple of yeara ago, Lolly! Precious.....ya' know, "kids" are all alike, regardless of species. Don't care what ANYBODY says, animals think and feel and laugh and play and cry and grieve, just like humans!!
Kathryn sent it to me. I had not seen it before.
That was sooo cute, Shirley...thanks for sharing:)
GOOD NIGHT MY FRIENDS
PRAYERS FOR ALL
Even the adult moose is having a good time in that sprinkler!
A 16 y.o. is on the run from TN for killing 2---sounds like they may have been policemen.
Prayers.
Oops...sorry, Shirley, for giving credit to Lolly instead of YOU!!!!
You all are going to
S P L I T
Okay, Jo. Split time!!
Time for me to say good night. I will need to get something done tomorrow. Didn't accomplish much today.
Oh, moosie in the sprinkler, that was so cute!
doggies in, I am going nite-nites!
See you in the morning, thanks again everyone.
Hugs to all ♥
