Hi Mits - thanks for all the pics today - with my running around I really didn't have time to see any cams. If they don't soon get the loon cam up/running and get the kinks out of the MNBound Owl I may be forced to watch the Wildwatch Owl.
lol....yeah, well, she already looks like there have been some mishaps with the eggs there....I'm still waiting for the bluebird eggs on that site, but osprey have been there this week and have done some nestorations
Mema Jo, I bet you're right - when the wind died down earlier (the calm before the hail started), she KNEW something was up. Her head got erect, she took off walking and did a circle of the nest, looked around, then came and covered Palmer. A lot of furred and feathered creatures are better weather predictors than we are!
Paula hope that baby is coming. Prayers for a new little eaglet.I am always busy. Getting ready to volunteer at the Aquarium I thank the Lord I can keep busy.
Posted this on the old thread......... Lolly said... Hi all! Ok, what is it? We have been mentioning Deb quite a bit lately, thinking of her so much and here I am....having a melt down! Trying to get a grip!!!!
Belle is such a fantastic Mom. Reading about her protectiveness with Palmer.
Think I am on top of planting for this spring...and preparing beds. Still need to plant caladium bulbs, but they do not arrive for a nother couple of weeks. We order them from Florida.
Lynn....tomorrow is Texas Motor Speedway!!! YUK! We will run into traffic as we have to go by the speedway going to Laurel's tomorrow. We are going to both boys games.
YaY! I finally got the CT osprey cam up...had trouble installing the Axis media stuff...sent the company an email, and they sent me a link to download the software from their website...so I finally have that cam up and running....I see they have a blog link on their homepage with pics, haven't checked it out yet.
Yep, Lolly....traffic will be bad for you! Just watch out for the rednecks! Ha,ha....think we're all rednecks when it comes to NASCAR!! Right, Lowreeda??
We had a 3rd storm....worse than the 2nd but not as bad as the 1st! Paula....I am GLAD that you get a reprieve for the evening. You need a break!
Ceil, how were the outlets? I have never gone there!!!! Not much of a shopper! Since ours closed down (many of them went to Prime), I just haven't thought much about going. Local joke always was that the outlets were SO full of busloads of out-of-towners that the locals couldn't get in! So have never been in to it that much.
Too bad they didn't use one of Dave's photos for that article....his are better!!! I was just thinking about him the other day.........wish he would check in with us.
I thought it was pretty neat the way Jamie Oliver won over that DJ last week, huh, Ceil? All I can say is that his school lunch program should be in every school system in the country, as should Shaq O'Neal's physical fitness and nutrition program that he tried to start in FL schools last year.
so exciting about the new baby, Paula, two of my good buddies have become 1st time grandmoms, one baby came fine, the other had problems but is doing great now...
CT Audobohn blog has some great pics of the cam installation...make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the first page, and click on older posts. You will find it there.
wrote a book and the blogger ate it Will try again. Paula I will be doing similiar to what Mits does at the zoo. Answering visitor questions. Lynn like the outlets but they are not crowded any more. Had a good lunch. LOL
Someone mention Nascar??!! We had to watch Nationwide car race tonight! Thank God & Greyhound it's over! Got the Nats on doing baseball~~~there's a whole lot of shouting~~~NO WONDER~~Nats 5, Mil 3!!! Amazing-final score.
I had to share that with you. LOL If their were rock near Palmer it would probably hit the rock and bounce back on he/she. That chick has power. LOL Good Night, Prayer for all needs. Hugs.
I get very excited about eggs hatching but when it comes to Babies being Born I get deliriously happy ! Prayers for Ajay's healthy little girl that is coming into this world.
Thanks Carole at CHIL forum for this link...very interesting article on Hancock site about the Delta pair...this was the pair with the really small nest, couple of eagles fell out, nest eventually fell to the ground.
Re: taxi birth and Delta egg: Remember the article yesterday did say that eagles sometimes DO nest on the ground! Charlotte, I guess, is a good example, despite enclosure. But talk about heightened vigilance being required!
Hi, Everyone, It's so late I don't know whether to say good night, or good morning!
Fell asleep in front of the TV.
Have been panda napping off and on all day. We went out to dinner for Chinese food--Yummy!
Going to try to get some more sleep. Leaving the night light on, and the porch light, too. Eye scanner security is enabled. Prayers said for everyone, especially Chrissy and family! Prayers, too, for Paula's new grandbaby to come into the world soon! How exciting! Sleep well, and God Bless. Will talk to you tomorrow. Love all you guys! :o]
Have been missing you all. I've been coming home tired and crashing. Fighting the colitis. I have had to go into work late in the mornings which puts me a bit behind in planning and organizing since it is my planning time.
We had an interesting demonstration at our school yesterday. A mock crash scene with rescue squad, state police, even a helicopter. Several of my students participated. I was proud of them. Can't wait to talk to the young man who played the part of the drunk driver. A very nice kid! The last I saw of him, he was being handcuffed and dragged into a police car. He even struggled with the police a little, but I heard he was nervous about his acting part beforehand.
Paula might want those pj's before the day is over. I remember going to the hospital for Hunter's birth. I went directly from work in my teaching duds. I was at the hospital all night and my professional get-up was a mess by morning. Pajamas would have been nice.
The day Hunter was born, my phone kept ringing with progress reports from my daughters--both of them--and my SIL. My students (freshmen), fortunately a great group, told me that I should go ahead and leave them alone. They assured me that they'd be just fine. I had to laugh at them. Nope, I did not leave them. I stuck it out until the last bell, then jumped in my car and rushed to the hospital.

Belle knows she is not in for a pleasant night. Winds are getting up again and I am sure there is more rain coming to our area.
Palmer was putting fluff on herself
It looks like she's pulling a blankie over Palmer, doesn't it
Wild Watch Cams
Evening, all, thanks for the new thread Steve.
Maybe Steve forgot what day it was :)
Found this short article, makes me wonder what Indiana Dave has been up to.

Nice to see you too, Mits!
Paula good article
Dave come on and tell us what you are up too
Well, I had to check the Indiana nest article. Stiff penalties for messin' with the nests.
And you went thru Frederick, as well, Ceil.
Prayers going up for baby!
I am trying to find something for dinner, I've had leftover spaghetti 4 nights this week, so pasta and sauces are out! Jo, this kind had MEATBALLS!

Bet Deb would really be in to this eruption!
Sounds like rain at our nest.
Ceil, the aquarium would be cool. Haven't been there in a long while. What would you be doing?

Moniker...name or nickname. Possibly alteration of Irish Gaelic.
What would the Indians say?
The CT Audobon is an error page.

That link isn't working, Paula!!
Is Ajay going to let you be present for the birth?
Nice weather on the OR nest.
Been checking out IWs nests...all is well...both parents at WE
Belle has head tucked back
One of the PH chicks has it's own little spot atop the edge of the nest.
Well, try this one!
CT Audobon
Did you get to check the RTH chicks?
They were pounding the heck out of each other earlier...the rascals.
CT Audobon, click on Osprey cam on the left...then you can see Mits' pic there or on the home page as well.
That'll work.
It's almost time for a TH nest sunset, they are very nice.
Twilight at the WE nest is nice too.
No haven't checked the RT chicklets yet.
I will most likely be there Lynn. Was present for Cohen, missed Brensin when I was in OC and she had him in the middle of the night!
Adults at WE feeding chicks and chowing down, had a fish fest earlier today...awwww look at them!
OR just did an egg roll. Still two in the nest.
Hello Eagle Buds. Only popped in for a minute. Was checking our nest to say good night to Palmer. Made my rounds with the other sites.
my comment for the night is:
"The two chicks at the Two Harbors nest just aren't pottie trained like our Palmer" LOL
take a look and see.
Good Night Eagle friends. Sweet Dreams. I am heading north tomorrow. ^..^
Gorgeous sunset on the TH nest. Two sleeping eaglets and awesome pose by the mother.

Good morning,
Deb/Ragdoll, Enjoy your break.
Have been missing you all. I've been coming home tired and crashing. Fighting the colitis. I have had to go into work late in the mornings which puts me a bit behind in planning and organizing since it is my planning time.
Yea, Paula! Best wishes for you and your family. An exciting and busy time.
Good morning, Judie.
Congratulations, Ceil, on the new volunteer job.
Hi, Margy. Rest well.
