MORNIN' & THANKS STEVE & GLO for the new thread!!!----I want to REPEAT my last post on the old thread!!----I found DR. Good Morning again... Norma, yes we did have a great time last night. We were very well behaved; we didn't run up and down the hallways , we were just VERY noisy! We might have run down the hallways, but, most of us had bad hips and knees and couldn't have if we wanted to! LOL It was our 50th reunion. We had about 100 graduates plus their spouses. We only have lost 20 in the 50 years since graduation. All of my best friends are living and were there; it was as if time had stood still and we were back at my Moms's house having a PJ party. Yak, Yak, Giggle,Giggle.
The thing that sometimes looks like a hole or a crack in the Hummer egg is actually material on the edge of the nest between the egg and the camera. I just saw it again.
Thanks, Paula. It is from the workshop I took. Norma, glad you liked my pictures. Of course, I think SD is beautiful, but then, I am prejudiced. Black Hills is under flood warnings right now, too much moisture. We haven't said that in about 8 years.
I just got up the video from last night from the Delta nest. I had to make it shorter to load, so I cut out the male coming to help. Once he got there, the birds stopped their harassment.
Thanks to NN and Jim for letting me know that is a female grackle. The female's can be so different than the males. I must have hundreds of males in my neighborhood and very few females.
LISA----I just finished reading your updates!!!---THANK YOU!!---You point out so much interesting info that I would not notice if you didn't bring it to my attention!!!----CT DAD FEEDING MOM!!---KENTUCKY SITE---(MEMORIAL)----so very beautiful!!--- KIDS---It's worth a read!!---
Deb liked the video on the Delta harassment. You kept mentioning it but I never saw it.
Norma, it was homemade bread and sausage yesterday. That is our usual Friday sinful breakfast. (Cereal usual). However, this morning it was cream cheese banana nut bread. Yum!!!
Yes, I appreciated the comments about the NBG eagles. I tend to put the human feelings on everything. Jack keeps telling me plants do not have souls, but I am not so sure! LOL
blogger is doing it's daytime slow loading and sometimes no loading. I will let you know when it is ready. I usually do these early in the morning or late at night, blogger works better then.
Going to work in the yard before it gets to hot. Have some Easter lilies to plant. They are the ones I had in church Easter. My lilies from previouse years are now in full bloom.
WHEN you refer to PEARL---Is that our #3??---Isn't she the smallest of the 3!!!----I have a hard time figuring out #1--#2---#3!!!---she was the only one I could identify!! Things are changing fast!!!
Wanda Just looked at your Utah pics on your blog... That is beautiful country! Are you going to post for us you & Gene in the Prom pic and then the 50th anniversary pic! Would love to see them! Just an idea.......
2 Adults & 1 eaglet eating. I thought Lib was going to kill over - must have been choking on something Really scared the dickens out of me with his actions. I can't tell which eaglet it is getting fed by both adults..Other 2 are relaxing...at least not showing any interest in eating
The BC eaglet is very protective of her food. I lost my live feed for a bit, but luckily it came back. I was trying to get the clip of Lib. I thought he was sneezing, but you could be right, Jo. Maybe Paula will still have it.
MAN! those names are a mouthful & a half! Quite interesting to say the least. Those 4 little storks are also in a clip that Deb has! I love them! But I'll always remember little Hugo.. <:(
Sun is setting on Finney's nest. A short time ago saw a switch on that nest. A first for me. She is always just sitting looking calm. Could not see the eggs.
Rechecked the STORKS---The names were submitted & then drawn out of a hat by a day school children!!---But they allowed out of Germany folks to submit names this year!!----It seems to be a big deal there---Referred to as a CHRISTING!
I REALLY DON'T HAVE ANY NAME TO SUBMIT!!!---I kinda thought the PERGRINE FALCON folks might have it right!----Don't believe in naming the 'wild birds'---
I get a kick out of the BC eaglet, Mom and Dad both flew in and it mantled it's precious stash like crazy. Even though they brought in a nice, fresh and juicy fish. One parent left and now the eaglet is eating.
Ok, Deb, let's go!!! Grab your paint gun, I have my water hose. Just a second ago it looked like the bird swooped very close to the eaglets! Mom is getting very irritated. Maybe it is time for crow for lunch!!!
DEB--Thanks for the update on the VA 'REBEL'----His biopsy tissue sent to UGA (?) ----'BLESS HIS LITTLE HEART'---He is certainly being well cared for!!!
* (my name for him---'REBEL' is a NORTH/SOUTH thing---WV & VA--i called the eaglets in that nest the same thing last year)
AWWWW---The 'LITTLE PRINCE' must have had a busy day---posing & ignoring all his visitors!!!---He is 'passed-out' on the stones---play toy & bamboo strewn about---ADORABLE LITTLE IMP!!!
Now the birds are bothering the BC nest. They are black, also, so are they ravens, too? I haven't ever seen this before last night, now two nests being bothered.
There is a whole in one of the hummer eggs, Jim. The little hummer moves the egg all over the nest. When you consider the side of the nest, that isn't very far!
I think one or both parents is on that limb they love above the nest area. Its driving the eaglets nuts. They sure want up there too. Must be a nice juicy fish for supper LOL
I guess it is time to pay a little attention to the weather, storms are starting to pop up. I think this will be a wide spread storm today. Tornado in western SD on one of the reservations, a town called Eagle Butte, and watches out for most of the state. No reports yet, but it is mostly open space there, so probably not much damage.
I just watched the weather, nothing for me until later tonight. 3 confirmed tornadoes in Corson County (western SD) and now warnings are starting in central SD.
Deb Your weather is so similar to mine first a winter that will not end, then severe storms when spring finally comes. But hey summer is less than a month away now. Might be a nice season just around the corner.
It was so cool the last few days (50's), now today it was 75, with humidity. Tomorrow in the 80's, Monday in the 70's. Tuesday in the 60's. I just wish it would make up it's mind and stay warm!
Adult arrived in nest- empty taloned! Looking for leftovers & has the old 'whatever it is' that they have been feeding on. Eaglets are being fed by adult whenever something can be torn from the 'whatever it is' lol
Thanks so much for these links you post Deb.. Very helpful in getting the info out to all!
I was not watching for about 10 mins.. maybe new food was brought in as the adult is tearing something up-but then again it may be that 'whatever it is' stuff.. All 3 eaglets lined up waiting for some....
Evening everyone--Park was a zoo today w/2 legged critters :>) !!! Pleasant weather, so it's good that everyone can enjoy. Have just seen a lot of "hopping" in the nest. Can that camera zoom out? When they start getting a little out of view, we're gonna have panic attacks!
NN..I was thinking the same thing a while back. Did they not take that into consideration when they placed the cam where it is, or is that the best they can do with what they have to work with?
Eaglets still alone at Delta nest, raccoons at the Okie cam, osprey on both Finland nests. Not much happening. Do not watch our cam at night. Spidey has made it all but impossible to see anything. Pearl is probably snoring away after all her activity today!
CHilly morning here, 43°, going to be another beautiful day, up to 73° and sunny. One of the eaglets are up and messing around in the nest. SO hard to see with that darn spiderweb. Off to load the van for market, have a great Sunday everybody:)
So sorry I didn't come on yesterday, the Bronchitis got the better of me,,and with also having M.E. any little illness I get seems to to become amplified. Or, it was that I was tired and what playing the baby card, [joke]
Eagle chicks:::: I can only see one properly through the spiders web,, and it seems to be eating, I see two tails moving about,, so all seems well as far as I can see in the dark. Scotland::::::: Both mum and dad in the nest feeding "BUBBA", in turn,, NOW thats being spoilt,, I hope the chicklet can eat that fast,, no sign of either of the 2 remaining eggs hatching,, so I think that it for this year,, a single chick nest,,but I still live in hopes and a chick might hatch today,, fingers crossed.OOOOOOOOOOOO Isla just wafted a fish under bubbas nose and it jumpped,,blimey,, thst chick can eat,,I think it's going to be Shakka O'Neil of the bird world,,,, or burst !!! I think that chick will miss those eggs when they go,, after a big meal it lies over them,as if to help its tummyache through over eating,,head down and "ooooooooo mum I'm stuffed,STOP feeding me please",,,,,,,
PA Falcons::::::: Can't see to much yet it's still dark,, but i can make out all 4 chicks,, 2 in the box 2 out,, and no sign of either mum or dad.
The weater here yesterday was famtastic, hot sunny,,, Today it's raining hard, very windy and dark and cold,,,typical,,it's weekend isn't it.
Righ, I'm going for some breakfast,,see to the cats,, and take my drug,, and have a lie down until they kick in.
Speak later, Take care love and hugs Chrissy XXXXXXXXXX
Isla in Scotland has just kicked the other half of that masive fish into the nest with bubba,,, it's just like a cartoon,, chicklet is teying hard to sit on it,,heaven only knows what it's going to do if it manages it,, it 4 times the size of him/her,,,, I bet it thinks its birthdayS have all come at once. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH you gotta love its wishful thinking,,don't yah!!!!
If you would like to watch and look in on another Osprey pair they have a first hatchling,,mum is "EJ" dad "OVS",, nd the brand new little one is strong and healthy,, they are expecting another one to hatch today ???
Adult in nest with food, not sure what it brought or when it arrived. If it wasn't for the coloration it would be hard to tell the adult from the eaglet, they have gotten so big. I'm outa here, gotta make a quick delivery on my way to mkt. HI Chrissy, bye Chrissy:) Have a great day it is already gorgeous out there, birds are singing and the sun is shining:)

Does anyone have the Delta nest open? Those birds have to go, they keep dive bombing the nest. Of course, now they quit as I type.
Gotta go get some work done! BBL
Oh what a sunny beautiful Saturday morning it is! Hello everyone!!!
Nope, had it open earlier...is it ravens? They love to harass eagles.
The parent must not be too worried, flew away!
Love your avatar, Deb
BBL
They go by so fast, I can't tell, I just know they are black. I have video from last night loading.
Pearl has a downy feather on her
nose LOL That would worry me to death!
Thanks, Paula. It is from the workshop I took. Norma, glad you liked my pictures. Of course, I think SD is beautiful, but then, I am prejudiced. Black Hills is under flood warnings right now, too much moisture. We haven't said that in about 8 years.
Wanda - doesn't 50 years seem like only yesterday when you all get together!! Like a time machine working in your favor!
WE eaglets are getting fed now.

Just saw your most recent video clips, Deb and they are great.
Watching Lucy Loon bobbing up & down on the lake!
Cardinals at Okie
Sea Eagle & chicks in good view
Isla is being loud - off the chick & eggs - I don't think any of the other eggs have hatched... Getting to be doubtful in my mind if they will.
I need to get some Brunch!

Pearl just flapped right up out of camera view and back down. Of course, when I tried to rewind it, the real player restarted!
I got it, Sharon, loading the video now. I had to go back and watch it, I couldn't believe I saw that! Parent in the nest.
So, Pearl is doing trampoline jumps!
LOL
Man, our Scottish lass is noisy this morning! Wish Angus would bring her another BIG flopping fish!
Where is Chrissy this morning? Chrissy, if you are lurking, do hope you are feeling better!
Looks like Lib made a food drop
Glad you got it Deb cause I missed it
I have a gut feeling that by the time the nest visit happens in 2 weeks - Our big girl PEARL is going to be winging it out of the Sycamore!!!
Kewl,,,,looked back and saw Pearl fly over the other 2, twice.
blogger is doing it's daytime slow loading and sometimes no loading. I will let you know when it is ready. I usually do these early in the morning or late at night, blogger works better then.
Whatever Lib dropped it looks as though Pearl is in charge of it! lol
Going to work in the yard before it gets to hot. Have some Easter lilies to plant. They are the ones I had in church Easter. My lilies from previouse years are now in full bloom.
What is with the CT osprey nest?????
CT Osprey MT Nest???
Oh, bad spelling! Make that "previous". BBL
I only got one of them, Pearl starts at 12 o'clock position and then takes off. The short clip is ready.
I have no clue! That nest was completely MT 2 mins ago NOW
a big bird butt is on the cam...
Is that the Osprey?
Great Deb! Thanks! Now outside!
BBL
I can't get a picture at all, Jo, I get a question mark.
I think I broke the CT cam LOL
I can't get a pic at all now either, Deb.
Going to watch your clip of Pearl
Yep! She is almost a "goner"
Great video for us all to see...
Pearl's siblings gave her a very
questionable look!!
The robin's nest that Helen posted has babies now.
Robin nest
WHEN you refer to PEARL---Is that our #3??---Isn't she the smallest of the 3!!!----I have a hard time figuring out #1--#2---#3!!!---she was the only one I could identify!!
Things are changing fast!!!
Pearl is # 1, Middy is # 2 and Tiny is #3. Pearl got her name from Pecking Pearl, she pecked the others so much!
Do any of you have sound? I never know if it's THEM or ME!
No sound!!
Thanks Deb, I have been pushing buttons and turning knobs thinking it was my 'puter.
I think Pearl knows she is a BIRD now. LOL
I think Pearl like to play Leap Frog, or make that Leap Eaglets! She was in the clear, but walked to where she was behind them and took her leap! LOL
Middy says "I think I am a BIRD too, let me try that".
Feeding going on in Scotland. Eggs look quite intact! :(
Wanda Just looked at your Utah pics on your blog... That is beautiful country!
Are you going to post for us you & Gene in the Prom pic and then the 50th anniversary pic! Would love to see them! Just an idea.......

WOW WOW WOW
Entire family is in our nest!!!
2 Adults & 1 eaglet eating.
I thought Lib was going to kill over - must have been choking on something
Really scared the dickens out of me
with his actions.
I can't tell which eaglet it is getting fed by both adults..Other 2 are relaxing...at least not showing any interest in eating
One adult fly out
HEY!!---SORRY---I DIDN'T KNOW THE EAGLETS HAD BEEN NAMED!!---GUESS I MISSED IT!!!!
Hi Norma Unofficially named I'd say.
Do you have the live feed up now -
they were all in the nest.......
Those aren't the official names, Norma, just the names we have been calling them to keep them apart when we comment.
The BC eaglet is very protective of her food. I lost my live feed for a bit, but luckily it came back. I was trying to get the clip of Lib. I thought he was sneezing, but you could be right, Jo. Maybe Paula will still have it.
Can't get my RP to work----It comes on then flips right back off-----GUESS I need to wait till Tues.
STORKS KIDS have been named!
1. FINJA-----(SWEDEN)
2. BREE------(USA)
3. APOLL-----(DENMARK)
4. AFRA------(SWITZERLAND)
I need to check again--I think these names were submitted & then drawn----
Norma please don't wait until Tues. RP is up/Running without sound. Adult in nest feeding Pearl
Deb has some recent video clips on her blog - click on her name.
MAN! those names are a mouthful & a half! Quite interesting to say the least. Those 4 little storks are also in a clip that Deb has! I love them! But I'll always remember little Hugo.. <:(
The sun is shining, the grass is growing, Off to mow. At least I only mowed twice this week! BBL
Sun is setting on Finney's nest. A short time ago saw a switch on that nest. A first for me. She is always just sitting looking calm. Could not see the eggs.

WOW!!---Those storks are just beautiful!!!----The eldest one is really growing!!!---Still think they look 'lil soldiers'!!----ho!
In for a break...Looks like Belle in the nest....not sure
Found out where Jo was talking about Lib...checking it out now...maybe he was hacking up a pellet.
Man, he brought in a huge white fish at 1:10
Look like maybe something caught in the throat...got it out OK
One started on nestovers..second started on fish...feeding one eaglet while one was laying down watching and other was at the branch at 10
I think that was Belle with the thing in her throat...she's darker
She spent a long time feeding the kids and then left
And then Lib arrived on the back and Mom on the front...Lib left, Mom stayed
Belle feeding the kids on the back while one is trying to work on the fish up front...she's got a tough nestover there...really yanking
Another nice fish for the CT osprey
LOL I think that is Pearl that keeps going from the front w/ the fish, then back to Mom for a couple of bites.
Defurring it now
Mom's done feeding and flew the coop
Breaktime over...2 chicks standing on the back of the nest, one laying in front of them
Time for my break, front yard is done, back yard is a little over half done. It is humid from all of yesterday's rain!
the chicks are at 11, 12 and 1 on the nest.
I get a kick out of the BC eaglet, Mom and Dad both flew in and it mantled it's precious stash like crazy. Even though they brought in a nice, fresh and juicy fish. One parent left and now the eaglet is eating.
More air time for Pearl.
Those #@#$@# birds are back attacking the Delta nest. Lolly, I will go with you to get rid of them.
There is a good update on NBG eaglet:
NBG update
Ok, Deb, let's go!!! Grab your paint gun, I have my water hose. Just a second ago it looked like the bird swooped very close to the eaglets! Mom is getting very irritated. Maybe it is time for crow for lunch!!!
Feeding in CT
All 3 of ours standing on the back of the nest
Thanks for update link on the Norfolk eaglet, Deb. Has xrays and everything.
Take a peek. I think the second Hummingbird might be breaking through the small end of the shell now.

Rebel is a nice name, Norma!
I have to get the rest of my mowing done.
DEB---Just saw HILLARY speaking in SD----She must be going on???
AWWWW---The 'LITTLE PRINCE' must have had a busy day---posing & ignoring all his visitors!!!---He is 'passed-out' on the stones---play toy & bamboo strewn about---ADORABLE LITTLE IMP!!!

There is a whole in one of the hummer eggs, Jim. The little hummer moves the egg all over the nest. When you consider the side of the nest, that isn't very far!
hole not whole.
OMG, I thought Pearl was going to make it to a branch, she went up above the camera view, then came back down.
I think one or both parents is on that limb they love above the nest area. Its driving the eaglets nuts. They sure want up there too. Must be a nice juicy fish for supper LOL

I was not watching for about 10 mins.. maybe new food was brought in as the adult is tearing something up-but then again it may be that
'whatever it is' stuff.. All 3 eaglets lined up waiting for some....
Just read the update - cannot get over the sophisticated procedures that can be done by Vets on our feathered friends!
Those babies are looking after Mom as if to sayo " Hey, we're still hungry"!
Pearl keeps eyeing up that piece of "whatever it is", but just doesn't know what to do with it.
Pearl's gonna sweep the floor now. LOL
I am watching the 2 eaglets up at the noon position in the nest - they are beaking each other...
NN..I was thinking the same thing a while back. Did they not take that into consideration when they placed the cam where it is, or is that the best they can do with what they have to work with?
Pearl is such a show off!
Somewhere in the planning was a 2nd cam over on one of the other trees so it could capture all the activity at the nest - especially any branching.
Maybe next year??
Pearl is doing some more housekeeping.
Wanda
Don't know that you would have seen my remark earlier about your blog....
Wondering if you will post your prom pic again with you 50th pic!!
That would be SUPER, Jo. Have to see what we can do to help. Maybe write a letter to Mr. Byrd.
By-the-way, Jo, I will post some photos of our reunion last night. Soon.
Lolly, Been catching up on comments. Will send you Rambo Kitty!!!!!
Thunder is starting here, hope it just rains.
Deb Don't you blow away from us!!
Keep checking back in........
All we got was thunder, i could have told you that a while ago, but just came back in. Everything is going north and that is fine with me.
Thank goodness Deb - now you can mow again tomorrow!!!
I am calling it a day - a
beautiful day at that!
Peace to You & Yours
Prayers for all our needs being said
Good Night
Deb - glad all you got was thunder, but it sounds like you wanted some rain!
New Garden is really coming along....my butt is wore out...gonna take some Advile and make it an early night..
Paula, don't forget to take pictures.
Mowed grass and weeded the garden...now for my reward...sleep.
GOOD NIGHT EVERYONE
SLEEP TIGHT
PRAYERS
Deb, so glad the worst of the weather is missing you. Seems like there is a tornado hitting somewhere every day!
Thanks, Nature, for Rambo Kitty! Won't you join Deb and I as we protect the Delta nest?!!!
So BC is now under attack!! Must be a raven conspiracy!!
Just finished a late dinner, salmon croquettes with green onion sauce. Yummy!
Just watching the humming bird on the nest. It is really hard to believe how small she is looking at the cam. So much bigger than life!
Just went to Finney's nest. Caught the osprey off the nest, but wings spread and coming in for a landing. WOW!
Egg still whole in humming bird nest.
Babies alone in Delta nest. Surely Mom is close by!
Almost missed the ferry but caught it! A beautiful day in Finland! Wish those eggs would hatch!
Eaglets still alone at Delta nest, raccoons at the Okie cam, osprey on both Finland nests. Not much happening. Do not watch our cam at night. Spidey has made it all but impossible to see anything. Pearl is probably snoring away after all her activity today!
Nite all! Sweet dreams!

I can only see one properly through the spiders web,, and it seems to be eating, I see two tails moving about,, so all seems well as far as I can see in the dark.
Scotland:::::::
Both mum and dad in the nest feeding "BUBBA", in turn,, NOW thats being spoilt,, I hope the chicklet can eat that fast,, no sign of either of the 2 remaining eggs hatching,, so I think that it for this year,, a single chick nest,,but I still live in hopes and a chick might hatch today,, fingers crossed.OOOOOOOOOOOO Isla just wafted a fish under bubbas nose and it jumpped,,blimey,, thst chick can eat,,I think it's going to be Shakka O'Neil of the bird world,,,, or burst !!!
I think that chick will miss those eggs when they go,, after a big meal it lies over them,as if to help its tummyache through over eating,,head down and "ooooooooo mum I'm stuffed,STOP feeding me please",,,,,,,
PA Falcons:::::::
Can't see to much yet it's still dark,, but i can make out all 4 chicks,, 2 in the box 2 out,, and no sign of either mum or dad.
The weater here yesterday was famtastic, hot sunny,,,
Today it's raining hard, very windy and dark and cold,,,typical,,it's weekend isn't it.
Righ, I'm going for some breakfast,,see to the cats,, and take my drug,, and have a lie down until they kick in.
Speak later,
Take care

Adult in nest with food, not sure what it brought or when it arrived. If it wasn't for the coloration it would be hard to tell the adult from the eaglet, they have gotten so big. I'm outa here, gotta make a quick delivery on my way to mkt. HI Chrissy, bye Chrissy:) Have a great day it is already gorgeous out there, birds are singing and the sun is shining:)
Morning, all.
Guess breakfast has been consumed...one standing at noon, one at 6 preening, the other one flaked out inbetween.
A very good Sunday morning to you all.
It should be an interesting day.
Fairly warm in So Cal with the possibility of thunderstorms.
