2 pm A young adult flies by then lands on the nest. The floater or visitor has some dark feathers on its tail feathers and head feathers so based on plumage likely 4 + years old. Some dark ridges on its beak but that may be dirt. The visitor did a hard fly by before landing. Bella and Scout will not be happy it before move on before they come home 😁
205 pm The visitor checks out the cam cable, seems curious checks it out visually and gives it a tug just for good measure.
217 pm The visitor decides to test the bed; sits itself down. Possibly a male based on size.
225 pm The visitor is comfortable on the nest, just looking all around.
302 pm The young visitor tests the nest bowl again.
307 pm Testing the bowl again.
323 pm The young adult is poking about at the crib rails.
337 pm The young adult is still on the nest. Moving a crib rail.
345 pm Still there.
This visitor could be one of the kids from 2021, Talon and Spirit.
6:49 Floater exits pass the DCT toward the River after 4 1/2 hrs in the nest.
I hope Bella and Scout are out eating good today and enjoying the weather, despite all of the flooding in the area.
Cameras are back up but yet our Eagles haven't showed up to the nest
