Goodorming my eagle friends - we are almost at 200 posts on this thread.
Good morning Judy - I see those 2 eagles in our nest.
Lolly, what a terrible and scary experience for you and Jack! It would take more than a couple of drinks, a couple of cries, and a muscle relaxer for me to get over something like that! And you'll have a visual reminder of it every day of your trip - just awful! I am so sorry!
Happy birthday to Delphia!
Both eagles are still in the nest - oops, now only 1.
I see Judy took us over 200 while I was typing. Still 1 eagle in the nest - Belle.
Shep returned with a stick that they immediately started fighting over.
Color has arrived at the nest. Our eagles have no idea what a big day it's going to be at their abode! I guess the grass that has been growing will really get trampled down. I am really excited about today's events and hope we'll get to see some of the action while they are installing the new cam.
OH LOLLY! I hated reading of your news!! I am glad that you all seem to be okay, but you have every reason to be upset and cry!!!! That must have been terrifying! HUGS HUGS HUGS!
Ms. DELPHIA has not posted in a while, wish she would pop back by! Happy birthday!
Yesterday was a very lazy day. Tom and I are still trying to kick these colds. Still coughing, etc. So over it! We watched football, and just relaxed. I made a corned beef with twice baked potatoes for dinner.
Today I am going to get a few things done. Its pretty out and will be all week they say. Upper 70’s and low 80’s. Fall type weather. Hoping everyone has a wonderful day. I’ll check in later gaters!
Lolly, so sorry you and Jack had such a frightening experience but so happy neither of you were seriously injured. Please do enjoy the remainder of your vacation.
I see the update Jo posted. So, Friday it may be. Nice to know the eagles are making their pre-season nest visits.
♪♫ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO DELPHIA ♪♫ May you have a lovely day and a lovely year ahead.
Hope JudyE has her vacation approved and that Janet and Tom are feeling much better today.
Regarding Sandi's FB comment. Might try to make sure I cannot be kidnapped by baking cookies today. Nice task on a cool overcast morning.
Wonder what Shirley's up to today? Wonder how Allie and Cheeto and Luna are doing?
Wonder what Glo is up to with her critters?
Wonder what Kay and Penny will be into today?
Bet Jo is sipping her coffee and watching Mr. Cardinal and the squirrels.
Judie you are doing a lot of wondering - lol You are right on spot about Jo watching all the squirrels - 8 of them at last count. I am still anxious for some NEW Murder Mysteries to get on TV - perhaps the end of this week they will start. IK did watch Ms Marple and Ms Fisher the other evenings.
No new posts from Shirley on FB - that should mean they are having a blast!
Robyn's comment last evening was: Back to Baltimore tomorrow, hopefully Tori shows improvement on her tests so Dr Iacono feels confident sending her home.
Good morning! Muscle relaxer did not do much but Advil in the middle of the night did! More this morning and a good back rub from Jubby! I am felling mentally better this morning! Still trying to figure out what that driver was thinking??? Obviously it was road rage, but he was more like uh oh when he got out of his rig.
We are off soon. Short drive today to our destination. Keeping my eye out for bears since they are not in hibernation yet!😀
Do you all have pics to look at to prove you are not a robot? What's up? Going to ignore it and see what happens!
♫♪♫ Happy Birthday, Dear Delphia, Happy Birthday to you♪♪♪
Aw shucks, another few days of waiting to see Nu, et al. It's amazing the way that grass has taken hold this year! I wonder if Belle n' Shep will pitch it out when they start nestorations or if they'll be able to incorporate it into the nest and egg cup.
JO, thanks for keeping us informed on the cam work and on Tori's condition. Talk of going home is encouraging!
This is a day for wondering, JUDIE! Penny and I will enjoy good walking in glorious Fall weather and then it's off to Julie's for dinner and a chance for Pen to see Malcolm.
Thinking of SHIRLEY, too. She may be too busy during the day and too tired by nightfall to do much reporting. Hope she's having a blast!
LOLLY, thank goodness you and Jack got through that horrible incident/accident unscathed. Trucks and their dents can be fixed far easier than human bodies can. Estes Park should refresh you both!
Happy Monday afternoon to everybody. How are you? I've missed everybody lots. Seems like life just takes over sometimes and not enough hours in a day to do what you want to do.
Lolly, am so grateful that you and Jack and Skippi are ok after the accident. It could have been so much worse and I bet that is one reason you are so emotional. Fortunately you are able to continue on your trip and have a wonderful time. Hope your shoulder improves by the minute. Loved the pics of Skippi chillin' in the camper!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Delphia!!! Celebrate you today!
Keep looking for our eagles in the nest and keep missing them. Have seen the Berry eagles a couple of times though. Owls on eggs, bears digging dens and baby pandas growing by leaps and bounds. Am so very grateful for webcams.
PS- Most of my hummingbirds have migrated. Only saw two yesterday. Going to leave the nectar out in case some strays stop by for refueling!
NOTICE: The EagleCam live feed is now offline for the 2015 season. We will resume in January for the 2016 Winter Nesting Season. Thank you for your support. -
Going to send another email to NCTC IT and get some information if possible about what to expect on our still cam. I remember we used to be able to Zoom and we had the night vision............ Will be back with any reply.

Ground reports coming in that Ozzie has not been spotted today but Harriet & M15 have been in & out of the area; chasing off a young juvie eagle around lunchtime.
VICKIE has video of them bonding (HP) this am check out the videos above lots of camera people there all day I am going Wed and I will be embarrassed with my tiny camera compared to theirs I just hope OZZIE doesn't want to fight to his death I hope he gives up I think she is choosing the 5 yrs old like our Belle did
This morning Harriet and M15 continue bonding activities which are captured in today's video; sitting side by side, working in the nest, vocalizing together and mating. Although Ozzie was not seen this am, we wait to see him reappear to claim Harriet and his nest. Ozzie, Harriet and M15 are teaching us about their lives. May we all observe and not judge or predict their lives.
THIS IS WHAT SHE POSTED SW CALLS HIM M15 FOR THE 15 MALE ON the property
We're going home, prognosis? Not fully in but it is rejection, acute and chronic. Tori just needs to clear up the acute and see how much if any damage was done to the lungs.
As a friend said the other day, keep sending positive out to the universe.
pretty cool I just requested a dentist appt by clicking on the email they sent being its hard to use a phone at work and they are closed by the time I get off work so we will see I said after 10 on either thu or fri this week or Wed, Thur or Fri next week since I requested Wed off cor a appt gonna see if I can use some of my 192 hours before I loose them and I am off this Wed they only scheduled me 3 days but I then went in turned in a personnel day so I get paid
and they did fix the next two weeks schedule 7-4 for me and I did tell ASST Mgr Carmen I had requested a vaca in Dec She didn't say anything at all so we will see
I love having my puter back but my neck says time to get off it LOL

Well we are here! In a RV park in Estes Park. Would rather be in the Rocky Mt. Camp ground, but it is full. So, instead of really camping we are enjoying water, sewer, and electricity. We did drive into the park. Saw a large flock of turkeys. There were 20 or more! Then we saw and heard the elk. They are in rut and bugling. A first for us. Tomorrow we will drive in, takes some short hikes and get adjusted to the high altitude.
Muscle that was threatening to spasm only hurts now when I cough!
Thrilled also to have good wifi at this park. We will be here until next Sunday. Warm today but now have a jacket on.
Sending prayers and positive energy Tori's way. Rejection - how scary. Knowing nothing about organ transplants, can organ rejection be reversed? Poor Tori ... and Robyn.
I am disappointed that the live cam has been turned off completely - I sure hope they don't wait til January to turn it back on once the new cam is installed. Yes, the still cam is better than nothing but ...
Lolly, I'm glad you and Jack had a good day yesterday.
glad LOLLY is safe and sound. sending only positive healing, light and love for ROBYN AND TORI. Holding each of you close on this day.
52 now, heading to 83. wonderful weather. low humidity!!!
yesterday was able to clean the pool, (water is 82 and a bit chilly), paint some rocks, run a few errands and bake a big batch of choc. chip cookies. a nice, quiet day.
Good morning! Got down to 40 last night! Good sleeping weather. Jack says he is sleeping with a mountain lion! Skippi has chosen his side of the bed. We are used to a king size bed and it is an rv Queen. Lol. Glad she has chosen his side! Lol
To day going to Bear Lake. Will hike around it. Not sure what else. Still getting used to the thin air!
This morning Robyn on FB said: It feels nice to relax a bit now that tor is home, slight headache 3 days one kept returning, I never get headaches. Back to Baltimore Thursday for follow up and to find out the rest of the results.
I have no plans for today and as far as that goes no plans for a solid week--- Told hubby we should have gone somewhere.
Elliot's new t-shirt says: What is this NO that you speak of...........lol (Not)
Nothing on FB from Shirley, However today is Kathryn's birthday. I was hoping to see a remark but it's not there as of now.
Mega prayers for Tori---I know nothing about organ rejection and how it might be reversed, but The Man upstairs does and I hope he intervenes in response to our prayers.
JUDY, it's always gratifying to know our prayers do help. So happy about Patti's good news!
JO, sorry to hear the cam has been put on shut down prior to Friday's work. Thanks again for all your work on our behalf. Well, at least we'll have the still cam and can look forward to the next mating season with great anticipation!
JUDIE, good luck to you with the clearing out. Are you amassing some stuff for a yard sale or will some entity like Goodwill benefit from your hard labor? Will the new digs be smaller than your current home? I don't know how many years you've lived there, but I do know how "stuff" accumulates. When I moved here I cleared out so much stuff and vowed to never collect again. Alas, I just donated six bags of unnecessary clothes and household items to charity and trashed a lot more--how does it multiply so fast? For several years I've set a loaded bag or two out on the front porch for the Kidney Foundation driver's once a month drive by, but deep cleaning the closets revealed even more junk.
LOLLY, enjoy Bear Lake! I can picture the scene having been to Estes Park many times. That thin, clean air is good for your lungs and well being.
JANET, just reading about your activities wears me out---all that and educating your daughter as well? Amazon Woman!!!
SHAR and SUZAN, happiness is having you check in with us. Do so more often, please.
JO, love that saying on Elliot's shirt!☺ Happy Birthday to Kathryn!!! I'll bet SHIRLEY checks for the occasion--perhaps on FB--let us know. Isn't it nice to have a week with no appts.? Enjoy!
Tomorrow I'll celebrate one of the happiest days of my life --Julie's birthday. I'll be taking her and Hugh to a favorite pizza place. His birthday is Oct. 4th so I always tie the two special days together in one bundle.
Penny's agitating for a walk.....see you tomorrow!
FYI from IT NCTC staff: Hi Jo, At some point we will enable the date/timestamp when we upgrade the component that streams the feed to our cable tv system. It is on our radar. With the new camera, the night vision will be fixed. The cam will have PTZ capability, but I will defer to Steve on how visible that will be to the outside world. I'm not sure why the OD closes, it may be part of the agreement, but once again I will defer to Steve. The cam may be up part of the time and may be streaming for some of that time as well, but there is no guarantee on when it will be up/down during the process.
So glad Tori and Robyn can have a day or two at home to rest. Prayers that the test results will be positive.
Well, since the camera is off, I guess Nu has become Not. Not fair! Thinking I could drive up to wild and wonderful WV, then drive up and down the entrance road to NCTC while honking the car horn in protest.
Kay, most things are being donated. Old meds are being destroyed appropriately. Much has been accumulated over close to 30 years. The new place will be about 1/2 what we have now but we will be able to accommodate what we typically need/use daily. If we choose a cottage, if an addition is not already there, we can add a room (screened or glass enclosed) or, if we get very lucky, a cottage already equipped with a year-round addition. For those who pay to add on, the cost is tax deductible.
Wishing Kathryn a very happy birthday. Bet she gets kitty kisses from Allie and Cheeto. Shirley will likely stop by somewhere later. I think their night is our day.
Did some touch up painting of scuffs and such. Good day as humidity has not made its way inside.
Hi all - nice day at school. Sam said he hates me (made me feel so sad). When asked why, he told the school resource officer, "Because she's an asshole." This happened the FIRST time Sam had to be escorted to the main office. Several hours later he was escorted to the office again with an office referral from a teacher on the team (not me, I can't do office referrals).
Sam received a lunch detention for defacing school property; not sure what his punishment will be for today's offenses. Maybe 2 lunch detentions.
I have a property owners association meeting from 4-6 to draft a budget for 2016, then a dog park committee meeting from 6-8pm. I guess Denny will be on his own for dinner.
I doubt that I'll be on the blog this evening so I will see everyone in the early AM.
Sandi - Sam may not make it -- meaning he may not ever learn how to act decently within the human race. One good thing is that he knows you are there - in time - due time... he may come around. I pray for him and all the others with an attitude such as Sam's.
Jo, love the picture of Master Elliot. Yep, he'll be chugging along on his own before long and then each and every one of you will need to have your running shoes on. lol
I'll try the FB thing for Shirley. Thanks for the suggestion, Jo.
Sandi, next time you see Sam, ask him when he had his laser surgery. Why ask that? Because it is he that is a perfect ___.
Good afternoon to one and all. KAY: lol. I felt like I had a very laid back day yesterday. SANDI: that young man “of yours” is quite the pistol isn’t he? IMHO, sounds like he missed a few backside warming ups when he was young. Not that that cures everything, but sometimes it does help. Unfortunately, those types, attitudes as such become bigger and bigger problems for everyone. So sorry you are saddled with this person Just chilling for a few min. We have math tutoring in a couple of hours. Making chili dogs for dinner, nice n easy. Thinking about bathing Beano and Dax here in a few min . They are little so it only takes a minute. They won’t be happy, but they’ll adjust. Hope everyone has a great evening. Nothing too much planned here! Hugs to all!
I hope you can see this video It is the one Patti made to tell us her good news in the end Jackson reads it for the first time himself Patti fight song video
some may have seen it on my page or the EM page I just wanted to share her good news She is having a brain scan also because of the headaches she has been getting We are hoping that it is just the chemo that caused them Keeping fingers crossed for her she is going through a fight with her x he is trying to get custody of their son Even when this was going on
Sandi,so very sorry he is such a hard kid to reach. I think theMomsters should make this a "Prayer Project"! Let's pray him to peace!
We had a great day! We watched elk bugling and herding their "harems"! It is an awesome sound but to see this wonderful act of nature is unbelievable!
We hiked around Bear Lake which we figure we have done about 20 times but it is just a great easy hike to first do here at the park. The Aspen is glorious in yellow and orange.
Maybe a more daring hike tomorrow. The muscle spasm is gone, however not feeling the best. We shall see about this hike!
Goodorming my eagle friends. First official day of fall.
Glad to hear that Tori is resting at home - prayers continue for healing for her.
Lolly, sorry to hear you're not feeling 100%. IMO prayers should be for Sam's parents to be open to the correct placement for their son. A regular classroom is not it; our building isn't it. He needs to be taught in an alternative setting where daily counseling is a part of the program. He is very smart but emotionally disturbed. Giving him a babysitter in a regular ed. classroom (me) is not the solution, but they refuse to acknowledge the possibility of another placement.
LOLLY hope you are getting better each day and so lovin you pic on fb the fall foliage is breathtaking
SANDI I sure wish his parents would listen to you that he does need special care so sad that a child has to go through this Maybe its his parenting that his bad also Hard to tell a bad home environment may not help are there psychologist at the school
JO i LOVE the pic of E and love seeing yours and Sandi avatar daily makes me smile ear to ear
all I can say SANDI, is bless and honor you. You are doing a job I could never do. I would not have the patience with the kid, or the parents.
when livvy was in elementary school I sat ont he board of the PTO. we were always welcome to be in the school. often times we were there for this, that , or the other and I would see things...kids literally running from teachers.....and rude, and disrespectful.....yeah, no, not for me. so thankful there are those who can...but not me.
where is everyone today Just got back from Sawgrass park got some pic and also a little sun also went to another thrift store got some baskets for future use for teacher appreciation day etc They are so cheap compared to new at stores 99-298 all depends what store I go to got some half price capri and some summertops
forgot to say I took in a bag of cloths and they give you $% off your purchase so its a win win all the way around every other Wed at two different t-stores is half price I just keep forgetting to go being I work on Wed but being I was off today I went and I did make a dentist appt for Wed so I can go to the one close to me then after the appt
good evening to all. hope everyone had a pleasant day.
for those not on facebook: MRI results: arthritis in shoulder and inflammation. period.
that doesn't really explain my symptoms. the arthritis symptoms do not match up with what I have. not saying they are incorrect, but saying I am frustrated. they are sending me to an orthopedic dr. we shall see.
overall its been a good day. took beano and dax for a walk. they were very pleased.
hope everyone has a pleasant sleep. come on sandperson, i'm ready to dent some pillows! nite!
day before yesterday I got quite a surprise in the barn...
I was sitting outside of the barn chatting with the pigs. Pork decided to go in to the barn. After a few minutes, he was making these soft and weird sounds. I went to investigate and was shocked to see a tiny cat/older kitten all curled up in Pork's bed! He was just standing there and I freaked out because in a nano second I knew that the cat was not at all well, she wasn't even lifting her head and was not the least bit concerned about the almost 400lb not too happy to find an intruder in his bed hog standing there staring at her!
This had the potential to be a very ugly situation. Pork could easily at any second just taken his nose and flipped the cat across the barn. And having no idea where this cat came from or what condition she was in, I didn't want to just grab her and risk a bite. So I went in, and was able to coax him out. WHEW!
I had already called up to the kennel and a carrier and some towels and Steve were soon delivered to help me. The cat was not at all responsive other than a sad and pathetic little hiss. I scooped her up in a towel and she was as light as feather. Completely emaciated. Unable to stand on her own.
Lisa, who works here doing doggie day care (or as I call it, doggy don't care...but that is a whole other story) is our cat person. There isn't anything she wouldn't do to save a cat! Lisa gave her a lot of canned food right away....which from working at a vet for 20 years I tried to tell her it was NOT good to give her so much at once because animals that emaciated tend to not handle a sudden, large amount of food very well, but she did it anyway. After the first can the cat started to make that low scary vocalization and I was sure she had just killed her. But it turned out OK, thank goodness. Lisa took her to the vet yesterday and she is Felv/FIV neg and seems to be OK other than the emaciated state she is in and of course she was dehydrated and has a heavy parasite load.
So hopefully with rest and food she will recover nicely! She's very pretty, orange tabby with white (orange color is rare for female cats) with medium long hair. Hard to say how old, probably between 6 months and a year. But she only weighed THREE pounds. Lisa named her Charlotte from Charlotte's Web since she was found in the barn.
Janet, sure hope the orthopedic doctor can help you. Shoulder pain is no fun.
Lynne2, kitty prayer for Charlotte.
How cool. Shirley is speaking French after only six days. lol Bet she's having a blast.
More cleaning out on tap for today. Couple more small chest drawers and may tackle a cabinet where "only used on special occasions" stuff is kept. Can't envision a formal dinner for twelve in the future.
Heading to another park to walk and enjoy the lower dewpoint
LYNNE2 the kitten heard through the catvine where to go to get help hence your barn but didn't know about the pig And I thought the pig was no longer there
SHIRLEY. has converted to speaking Italian how will we ever converse with he . Bonjour to yo . I know you're having a marvelous time you and LOLLY are our traveling blogster . If MARGY where here she would have her angel up as a traveling companion
Good morning! Off for a long hike to Emerald Lake! Please keep me in prayer.....not exactly in condition! Had a great day yesterday as we drove Trailridge. Such a beautiful, awesome drive! Never tire of it! But, the best thing.....as we headed up, but still at the low end we saw a Moose! Yea! They are here in the park but rare to see. Now if I could just see a bear!
Speaking of prayer....truly need some for both Joseph and Jacob. Joseph suffered a head injury horsing around with his best friend. He is having bad headaches. Has been to the doctor and they will do a cat scan if he is not better fast. Jacob is being taunted at school by a girl in his class and the girls mother yelled at him yesterday. Laurel is in communication with the school and the girl and mother are totally to blame. This has happened before. Because of his size he is singled out! Jacob got rewarded with ice cream. Laurel asked him how he felt about that mother. His reply was he thought she was crazy. Apparently the school has had run-ins with her before.
Shirley - Hello and good day to you! I just finished reviewing all your 30 photos - You are blessed with all these wonderful sights! Thank you for the photos.
Lynne2 - Hope Charlotte can heal and become your barn cat!
Janet - how is Olivia & you doing with the Home Schooling this year. What grade level are you doing?
Kay - It is Pleasant dog park/walking today - in fact this entire week has been fantastic. Hope all is well with Seth.
Judie you may come across some forgotten treasures in those drawers - Just don't show them to Frank or they may be put back into the drawers. ♥
Sandi - Hoping all is well in Bethany! When do you put the boat in dry dock?
Judy - You really know how to find the bargains!
Lolly - no word on FB about the big hike scheduled for today - They have not seen any bears yet - The pictures are of fantastic scenery.
BBL today - Getting new lenses for my glasses this afternoon

Good afternoon my eagle budlets. Yes indeedy the cam looks great, but I have a question. Why does the cam look so much better and they haven't installed the new equipment yet? I know I am so behind on all the happenings.
Sharon - they did add HD (High Density) so the coloring on the Live feed looks great. Tomorrow is up to the next for some new cam equipment............
Just got home from going on a little over two hour walk at Boyd Hill Nature Park uploading pic saw 4 baby gators so little no mommy around that I could see saw three Hawks and naturally the eagle and others they have that can't fly so neat when I got there and when I left I stopped to see the eagle and he talked to me They say he usually is quite
Yeah JO thanks for love feed info got it up now Heading to Angies in a bit for dinner and to watch GA
Good evening all. I had the live cam running while I was watching TV and heard a lot of eagle calling. I think at least one of our eagles is in the tree.
I hope the live cam feed continues while they install the new cam, even though I won't be able to watch. Y'all can tell me what happens.
Time for me to hop into the tub before Grey's Anatomy comes on. I will see everyone in the early AM. Goodnight!
Good evening to all. What a busy day! Work was good fully booked and every one I saw today was a super client! Really good day.
LYNNE2: so glad you were able to get help for the cat! My son’s cat (peanut) is a female orange tabby as well. Dr. K said that’s an extra X chromosome for her…..and yes, fairly uncommon.
MEMA JO: Livvy is doing okay……she has been up and down on the spelling tests. Today she had her first science test…and did better than I anticipated she would….but not as good as I would like. My rule is 80% or better. She was below that mark on both tests today. ¬¬¬¬She is doing 9th grade work. The math tutor is a dream. SOOOO much better all around ! ¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬¬She still despises math, but I told her that’s okay I never asked her to like it, just do it and do her best. I reminded her today she’d best buckle down because I can and will make her redo 9th grade if necessary…..or whatever parts of it she NEEDS to retake….uh hem. Just giving her food for thought. So glad LOLLY and SHIRLEY checked in! Happy travels! Let’s see, so I have an orthopedic appointment in the morning. They called today while I was at work. I don’t anticipate any answers truly. Hoping for the best. Work is quiet tomorrow, so it worked out. I didn’t have a client til 1 p.m. So I am (per my boss’ orders) gettinga 90 min massage @ 8:30, then go to the orthopedic dr, then to work to give one massage. I am fully booked Saturday and was fully booked today as well, so all is well.
Closing it down for the night! SED to all!!! Love and hugs!
Sandi, you watch Grey's? I am on Season 10, episode 2. Meredith had the baby, Richard didn't die after being electrocuted but Heather did. Arizona did a BAD thing.
I watch for several years and then phased it out for whatever reason. It's on Lifetime daily so I have been recording ALL the episodes from day one and watching them! I forgot how much I loved it!
Howdeeee! I did it!!! So very proud of myself! I huffed and puffed and put my foot forward and UP for 1.8 miles. The thin air leaves one very short of breath. We went up to a series of three lakes. First Nymph, then onto DreamLake, and at the top Emerald Lake. We have done this hike before but when we are here in June it is usually too much snow. Going down 1.8 miles was not as hard but very demanding on the knees and hips, but we both held up!😜. Needless today we are exhausted tonight! Two more days and then head home on Sunday.
Ms Marple it was - 3 parts and you know what - to me it was a repeat but I watched it anyhow and enjoyed it more then when I saw it the first time... Thanks Janet for update on Home School.. 9th grade - wow
I don't know what to expect tomorrow with the new cam equipment.... I know they have to put up a new mount for the cam. I assume the cam will turn off but we will have ground pics as in previous years .... I wonder if they will find ducky
just got home a bit ago and my live feed is kaput has the message sorry we were unable to play the media you selected.Pleas try again or select alternate media Error encountered: Stream not found The same mssge I have gotten before Left cam up when I left and puter was sleeping and that is what it said whey I woke it up and I tried on laptop and desktop and can't get either

Good Friday morning my eagle friends. It's a big day for all of us!
My live feed is up and running though it's too dark to see anything. I'll be depending on you guys to report the nest happenings today as you see them - if you see them.
Lolly, I've enjoyed seeing your trip pics on Facebook. Boy, that gorgeous blue sky!
Lynne2, I have watched Grey's since episode 1 - one of my favs.
Judy are you off today to be able to watch the action at the cam?
Good Morning to all ♥ Still cam is down but Live OD feed is up/running. No action yet..
This will be an eventful day if all goes according to schedule. No one has reported seeing a visit this early morning of our Royal Couple but they did report chatters - so hopefully they are out and about.
Going to keep my eye on the cam............. First cup of coffee coming now BBL
I missed the cam up date but glad to read it all seems to have gone well. OK Belles and Shep we are so ready for you. You two have a little yard work still to do I see, Me too lol. Have a good day everyone.
I just have to say when I open the cam this morning it is so wonderful to see this. It is beautiful. I can hardly even believe what I see. This nest is indeed the nest of my heart. I know I am not the only one who remembers the very first time we even cast a glance on this nest. It was a still cam in black and white and we were already hooked. Then soon a surprise. A live cam. It was not close up or HD of course BUT for me I enjoyed watching what was then 3 little fluff balls grow and capture all of our hearts. BUT in addition I know I also was not alone in a tear or two as we "heard" them for the very first time. I can only imagine what this season will bring and be shared with those who have come to love this nest. Thank You so much NCTC. Bring it on Belle and Shep. Looks like we are very ready.
I see a lovely nest and, yes, yard work is on the agenda for Belle and Shep. Did not hear anything other than wind and did not see a person or a people shadow.
Good morning! Got the cam up but only for a few secs. Heard voices! Lol. Thought it was coming from Jack's computer or outside.
Taking it slow this morning. Jack cooked a great breakfast and I enjoyed my coffee. When we hike, not much coffee for me.😱
Going on a smaller, easier hike soon. This evening more elk watching. Tomorrow Estes Park is having a Golden Celebration, celebrating the color of the Aspen. Bands, brats, and beer. We are going. Think it will be fun!
I was not pleased with my pictures from Trailridge Road. Then discovered after I posted them that my camera on my phone was not on the right setting. The pics were washed out. May change them!
I did get to see the man in the nest I was having breakfast and crappy internet there and then I went to another nature park nice just got home and hear talking
HEY JO ARE THEY going to have someone operate the camera for the pan tilt and zoom during the season like all the other camera sites do I would volunteer if i lived in the are for sure
The still cam is in the same place. It would be nice to have the still on the old view and the new on the new view then we can see both sides of the nest

Have agreat day all.
Thought for the day (I read this on FB yesterday)...
The more you weigh, the harder it is for you to be kidnapped. Stay safe - eat cake!! :)
And on that note, I am going to try hard to limit my posts since Steve is off fishing for the week and we may not get a new thread.
Good morning to all!
Good morning - my feet just hit the floor!
FROM NCTC: Hi Jo,
The tree trimming/crane service couldn't be scheduled until this Friday, 9/25, so that is the tentative date for installation.
Testing with the demo camera unit was successful, and so far all looks promising for the installation.
BBL after coffee
Good morning.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day.
Judie you are doing a lot of wondering - lol
You are right on spot about Jo watching all the squirrels - 8 of them at last count.
No other news to report.... BBL
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DELPHIA
our very own Bird Girl..........
Have a special day and
Celebrate YOU ♥
Good Morning!
Well, time to put away the bibs and drool buckets til Friday. Dang.
LOLLY...what a terrible incident! I know it sucks but please try to let it go now until you come home and enjoy the rest of your vacation!
Well it posted!
Good Morning Eagle Buds!!!
Prayers for all in need!!!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
And now no pics???
Have a great day!
Happy Monday afternoon to everybody. How are you? I've missed everybody lots. Seems like life just takes over sometimes and not enough hours in a day to do what you want to do.
I LOVE US!

Ozzie did have a bloody talon last night after the fight there are some good pic onfb

Ground reports coming in that Ozzie has not been spotted today but Harriet & M15 have been in & out of the area; chasing off a young juvie eagle around lunchtime.
VICKIE has video of them bonding (HP) this am check out the videos above lots of camera people there all day I am going Wed and I will be embarrassed with my tiny camera compared to theirs
I just hope OZZIE doesn't want to fight to his death I hope he gives up I think she is choosing the 5 yrs old like our Belle did
Vickie video of todays activity at Ft Meyers
This morning Harriet and M15 continue bonding activities which are captured in today's video; sitting side by side, working in the nest, vocalizing together and mating. Although Ozzie was not seen this am, we wait to see him reappear to claim Harriet and his nest. Ozzie, Harriet and M15 are teaching us about their lives. May we all observe and not judge or predict their lives.

Up date on Tori
We're going home, prognosis? Not fully in but it is rejection, acute and chronic. Tori just needs to clear up the acute and see how much if any damage was done to the lungs.

Night all! SED!
Goodorming my eagle friends.
Judy, what wonderful news about Patti!
Have a good day all.
Good Morning Eagle buds
I see white head of eagle
eagle still there I must leave for work
good morning to all.
glad LOLLY is safe and sound.
sending only positive healing, light and love for ROBYN AND TORI.
Holding each of you close on this day.
52 now, heading to 83. wonderful weather. low humidity!!!
yesterday was able to clean the pool, (water is 82 and a bit chilly), paint some rocks, run a few errands and bake a big batch of choc. chip cookies. a nice, quiet day.
will check in later. love and hugs to all
Good morning.
Very concerned with the news about Tori. Doubling the prayers for her.
JudyE, good news for Patti.
Hi Suzan. Glad you stopped by.
Jo, will be sending FB email later this morning.
Mei not sharing this morning. Raining in Scotland. New bear in town - unusual cinnamon color with a light muzzle - very pretty.
Dreary looking day here. Will do more clearing out.
Wishing everyone the best day possible.
Have not read about Tori. What's up?
Okay, went to Robyn's fb. Prayers for Tori!
Good chilly morning to all ♥
This morning Robyn on FB said: It feels nice to relax a bit now that tor is home, slight headache 3 days one kept returning, I never get headaches. Back to Baltimore Thursday for follow up and to find out the rest of the results.
I have no plans for today and as far as that goes no plans for a solid week---
Told hubby we should have gone somewhere.
Elliot's new t-shirt says: What is this NO that you speak of...........lol (Not)
Nothing on FB from Shirley, However today is Kathryn's birthday. I was hoping to see a remark but it's not there as of now.
Good Morning Eagle Buds!!!
Prayers for Tori and all others in need!!!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
JO, love that saying on Elliot's shirt!☺ Happy Birthday to Kathryn!!! I'll bet SHIRLEY checks for the occasion--perhaps on FB--let us know. Isn't it nice to have a week with no appts.? Enjoy!
Tomorrow I'll celebrate one of the happiest days of my life --Julie's birthday. I'll be taking her and Hugh to a favorite pizza place. His birthday is Oct. 4th so I always tie the two special days together in one bundle.
Penny's agitating for a walk.....see you tomorrow!

Shirley has pictures and more pictures on her FB page............
Concerning our cam scheduled work
FYI from IT NCTC staff:
Hi Jo,
At some point we will enable the date/timestamp when we upgrade the component that streams the feed to our cable tv system.
Good afternoon.
Off to find a tall glass of water.
Judie - Type in Shirley's name on Frank's FB
If you saw mine you can also see Shirley's unless her security isn't set like mine
I opened this page to say something BUT I can't remember - BBL once I remember.
(Warning - this may take a nap to refresh my brain)
I'M BACK
How's that for remembering time?
I want to try a new pic of Elliot inside the beach house.........
He is holding onto things in order to walk around - won't be long that he will be running.
I'll leave pic up for a day or two
He had 9 month check up and is 21 lbs. and 30 in ....
Sandi - Sam may not make it -- meaning he may not ever learn how to act decently within the human race. One good thing is that he knows you are there - in time - due time...
he may come around.
I pray for him and all the others with an attitude such as Sam's.
Back again.
Bye
Good afternoon to one and all.
KAY: lol. I felt like I had a very laid back day yesterday.
SANDI: that young man “of yours” is quite the pistol isn’t he? IMHO, sounds like he missed a few backside warming ups when he was young. Not that that cures everything, but sometimes it does help. Unfortunately, those types, attitudes as such become bigger and bigger problems for everyone. So sorry you are saddled with this person
Just chilling for a few min.

Kay, thank you for the lovely video from Cornell. Nature is truly amazing.
Wishing everyone a restful sleep.
Night all! SED!
Have agreat day all.
Good Morning Eagle Buds
LOLLY hope you are getting better each day and so lovin you pic on fb the fall foliage is breathtaking
SANDI I sure wish his parents would listen to you that he does need special care so sad that a child has to go through this Maybe its his parenting that his bad also Hard to tell a bad home environment may not help are there psychologist at the school

Sunshine, blue sky, cool temp this morning.
Mei giving cubby a bath, raining in Scotland, bears thought to be okay.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day and wishing Tori and Robin a full day of rest.
good morning to all.
all I can say SANDI, is bless and honor you. You are doing a job I could never do. I would not have the patience with the kid, or the parents.
when livvy was in elementary school I sat ont he board of the PTO. we were always welcome to be in the school. often times we were there for this, that , or the other and I would see things...kids literally running from teachers.....and rude, and disrespectful.....yeah, no, not for me. so thankful there are those who can...but not me.
everyone have a great day! hugs to all

Goodorming my eagle friends.
Yay Shirley, it's good to see you on the blog!
Have a great day all.
Good morning! and Bonjour, Shriley! Hope you are having much fun!
Janet, glad you are going to an Ortho. Hope you don't have to wait too long to get an appt.
Uh, no word from Lolly since Tues when she said they may take a more daring hike yesterday. And she wasn't feeling her best....hope she isn't sick.
Prayers for your friend Patti, Judy.
day before yesterday I got quite a surprise in the barn...
Good morning.
Wishing everyone a beautiful day.
Good morning eagle buds
I am out and about again
Heading to another park to walk and enjoy the lower dewpoint
LYNNE2 the kitten heard through the catvine where to go to get help hence your barn but didn't know about the pig
And I thought the pig was no longer there
SHIRLEY. has converted to speaking Italian how will we ever converse with he . Bonjour to yo . I know you're having a marvelous time you and LOLLY are our traveling blogster . If MARGY where here she would have her angel up as a traveling companion
Hello if you still peak in MARGY
Good Morning Eagle Buds!!!
SHIRLEY, thanks for the shout out! Avoir un temps merveilleux !
LYNNE2, Charlotte is one lucky cat and now she has 8 lives left!
JUDY, thanks for the pics and commentary on our dear Eagles!
It's doggy play day here with beautiful weather for our outings.
Prayers for all in need!!! Have a great day All!
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Gotta go!
Good morning to all ♥

Thank you Jo for letting us know.
Thank you NCTC, et al, for the live cam.
IT @ NCTC said they will also have Still Cam up shortly
We are so getting ready for the next eagle season. Cam feed looks really good . Yes indeed it is such a nice surprise.

Love and hugs!
evening all...
Watched a few murders on Miss Marple.
Headed to the pillows.
Wishing everyone a night of restful sleep.
Howdeeee!
For now Goodnight and AOYP with SED ♥

Good Friday morning my eagle friends. It's a big day for all of us!
My live feed is up and running though it's too dark to see anything. I'll be depending on you guys to report the nest happenings today as you see them - if you see them.
Lolly, I've enjoyed seeing your trip pics on Facebook. Boy, that gorgeous blue sky!
Lynne2, I have watched Grey's since episode 1 - one of my favs.
Judy are you off today to be able to watch the action at the cam?
Have agreat day all.
Good Morning to all ♥
Still cam is down but Live OD feed is up/running.
No action yet..
This will be an eventful day if all goes according to schedule.
No one has reported seeing a visit this early morning of our Royal Couple but they
did report chatters - so hopefully they are out and about.
Going to keep my eye on the cam............. First cup of coffee coming now
BBL
Noise at the nest - could it be the crane.............
Whoa someone is up there
Trimming tree in order to mount new cam I hope
Saw bladed in pic
A fully clothed man in baseball hat is in the nest - Not sure if it is NU or not.
This is exciting - no one visible right now........
Holler at me on here if you are watching
I feel all alone,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
I'm here now Jo but don't see or hear anything.
I'm lurking too, Jo. Nothing going on right now.
It is quiet right now
They are probably doing the mount or installing the new equipment
I'm sure I'll jump when a foot comes into the nest
STILL CAM is up now
My cam's live feed has been very still
NOW there is lots of movement & shadows

Sorry I stuttered
I missed the cam up date but glad to read it all seems to have gone well. OK Belles and Shep we are so ready for you. You two have a little yard work still to do I see, Me too lol. Have a good day everyone.
Glo, I'm not certaIN THAT IT IS FINISHED...
noise on cam
Oh MeMa Jo hmmm Well it is certainly absolutely super. Pope is on TV Cam is on my laptop. It's quite the morn :-)
I hear voices.
And see lines at 3 o'clock.
Looks like cable off to the right
Hear drilling.
Such excitement!!!! Hope that cable is not in a permanent position.
Dr. appt, , gotta run, will check back for updates!
Cable just pulled up

Good Morning Eagle Buds!!!
I'm here, too. Hearing voices and equipment. How exciting!
Hi KAY ♥
Hi JO♥
Good morning.
I see a lovely nest and, yes, yard work is on the agenda for Belle and Shep. Did not hear anything other than wind and did not see a person or a people shadow.
Back to my work.
Wishing everyone a wonderful day.
I POSTED THE PICTURE OF THE MAN On FB IN THE NEST EARLIER m(9:10 am comment)
Just announced that the baby Panda has a name. Bei Bei. Sort of miss the 100 day name excitement. Politics got in the way.....as it usually does.
or should I say foreign diplomacy.
Missed the cable move and I have been watching! haha
Missed the cable move and I have been watching! haha
St...st...stuttering.
I am home and I hear talking on the cam
I did get to see the man in the nest I was having breakfast and crappy internet there and then I went to another nature park nice just got home and hear talking
on the still is a odd pic I got snip
some kind of black back in nest they are red caple foot pants
got snip of blue jeans and a black bag
Still working on cam at 12:28pm
Nice bag.
Judy I think it is the Martinsburg Company crane

I wonder why the still isn't as clear as the live feed Maybe not hooked up yet

How cool is that?
I do believe that is Nu!

Great view! I had to refresh, too, SHAR--that took me from just seeing the edge of his basket to the full view of him working in the tree! Fantastic!
Thanks Jo
The tree has pretty fall colors in it
Wow!!!!
Opposite side of the nest view. .love it
Nu was repairing night vision on old cam per comment by Rob ball on OD
HOPING YOU ALL SEE THE NEST IN FULL VIEW ON THE LIVE FEED

HEY JO ARE THEY going to have someone operate the camera for the pan tilt and zoom during the season like all the other camera sites do I would volunteer if i lived in the are for sure
I like the view Is it upside down compared to before Maybe
The still cam is in the same place. It would be nice to have the still on the old view and the new on the new view then we can see both sides of the nest
still hearing a clunk just now
that would be super if the views were different HINT STEVE
