I see the # doing the wonkie thing but I still think its not caught up with the still due to the stick that was brought in LM LM getting to aggravated with the live feed
You know that they are going to think we are out of our mind LOL
Should send them the picture that shows the eagle in the still and not the live and the stick picture also
I am trying to see if I can find other misplacement in the nest and I do see a few sticks that are a certain way in the still but not in the live

Exciting BB game! Jacob's team was undefeated and playing the #2 team. A good player on Jacob's team was not there and in the last seconds one of Jacob's team mates scored a basket for the other team. Jacob's team won 13-12. Whew! Too exciting! Felt sorry for the little boy!
Funny Jacob story. Last bb game Jacob had the ball and another boy tried to grab the ball. Jacob raised the ball up and picked up the other boy along with the ball. Eef blew the whistle and Jacob dropped the ball and the boy fell. Laurel said all the parents were laughing. Bless Jacob's heart. He is so much bigger than all the boys!

We have had a tad bit of rain and hoping for more!
Baking cupcakes to take to Dallas tomorrow. Luckily I remembered that sometime ago I promised Zach chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing. They really watch what he eats. Christmas I saw him sneak an iced cookie that Laurel had made. I did not tell on him. I thought it funny! The dessert table was behind his mother. He took off the lid, got a large cookie, and went into the living room to eat it. 😄

its been a busy Saturday. this morning was chilly but sunny. more clouds have come as the day wore on. rain to snow later tonight, so they say.
groceries today. there weren't many people in Walmart today. it was 9 when we got there. too early for a Saturday perhaps?
we ran some errands, a get out of the house kind of day since it will be so yucky tomorrow. we do have acupuncture appointments tomorrow just after 1.
nothing much going on around here. same stuff, diff day. hard to believe its the end of January.

Really thankful for all of you who watched and reported on our eagles today! Guess I saved myself much frustration by ignoring the computer and our camera woes in favor of an afternoon of ice skating---not me on the ice---a couple of programs on NBC and ABC. This evening spent, as usual with Garrison Keillor and troupe on Prairie Home Companion and now checking in with you. In twixt all that stuff there was a rousing indoor game of ball and tug pulling as well as a couple of outings for the dogs. I'm glad I don't have two dogs all the time, but really enjoy this part time fun.
SANDI, thanks for the full picture re:power there and possible reasons for problems! Hope it's all resolved soon!

Here in Central Ohio we've had about another inch of the white stuff. The temp is going up and down rather erratically---thawing going on one minute and freezing the next. Praying for Julie and the guys as they wend their way back from WI. Glad they have an SUV w/4wheel drive.

We have had a crazy couple of days. Our electricity was completely off all day today so they could replace our electric panel. The new one is completely different from the old one, which was woefully inadequate. They also had to add two grounds--one on the roof, and one to our cold water pipe in front of the house, where the main water shut-off valve is. The grounds should help protect our major appliances and electronics should there be a major surge or (God forbid!) a lightning strike. We found out that our electrical system is somewhat overloaded. Our refrigerator, washer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, microwave, 3garage wall plugs, garage door opener, and both wall plugs in the kitchen are all on the same circuit! We have to be careful for now, and will be saving $$ to upgrade ASAP (the bid is another $3,200!). At least we can be sure that if something's overtaxed, the circuit breaker will take care of it. Before, we easily could have had a house fire!!! We're thanking God that He's been protecting us! Tomorrow the City inspector comes to check everything out, and I think some contractors who work with the electricians will be patching the stucco around the new, bigger electrical panel. Then they will paint the new stucco as soon as they can, hopefully matching the paint as well as possible. Next Tuesday, our gardeners will be trimming the huge tree in the back yard so that there will be the required 3 feet of clearance around the wires coming to the house from the telephone pole on the property line. I sure am glad we are having all this done, because it will be a big concern off of our backs. The house was built in 1962, and with all our electronics and stuff, it just needed to be brought into the current century! I think we may get a break on our electric bill for upgrading, too. Gotta check that out tomorrow.
Well, I need to go get some stuff done that I couldn't do by the light of a flashlight earlier today. (Boy, you don't realize how much you take electricity for granted, until you don't have any! Yikes!)

Ah, that's beautiful Belle, judging by the distinctive tail feathers. Now she's fussing around at the top of the nest, but keeping a sharp eye on something---Shep, I hope. And now moving on the to bottomw crib rail work...busy, busy, busy.
So, how was tennis today, SANDI? And do you have full power again?
Eagle is now up on the stump - I can still see tail feathers.
POOF, but only to a limb as her tail feathers are still showing at the top left hand corner.
Hi Kay. Power looks good today - thanks for asking. Tennis was good fun and good exercise, but I lost 2 sets - I was up in the 3rd set but we ran out of time.

Howdeeee! Have not gone to Dallas yet! Church this morning and leavin in a couple hours for late afternoon and evening in Dallas. Zach was having an early afternoon party with his school friends. Have not been told what kind of party but certainly extravagant! Always are!

I have had a red headed woodpecker down at the suet block on the tree most of today.

I have some new snow on my deck this morning. The temps are at 34° and it is calling for rain. I have am appointment for blood work and flushing of my Power Port.
I am still wishful for a fresh new thread today and I would not have been surprised to have seen Belle in the nest with an egg. Sorry Glo that your present wasn't there! ♥
I have both cams up/running. Live feed is still a little funky - it stopped - the timer was at 13 sec.. but the picture was up. Would not have know it stopped if I hadn't looked at the counter. I just clicked on the > started and it was ok.
This afternoon Jenny will be driving Aaron and Val and her grandson Elliot down to their hotel reservation in DC right near the hospital. Hernia Surgery is scheduled for 9:30AM as long as preop
checks him out - a stuffy nose could mean a reschedule date.
Prayers & Positive thoughts please for successful surgery and complete healing. Thank you friends.
