i don't think that was apoof a bit ago I sort of saw movement on the other side of the white head now poof of the white head
Poofed down the right side of the nest in the front down they flew
I think the movement I saw was the adult flapping wings no movement yet in nest I think they left us again so should I I need a show I haven't ate yet and I know its my fault or I can blame the puter and the face in the tree staring at me

So wonderful to have a view of Belle and Shep and Hedgie and Shamrock at this stage of fledging. Am truly hopeful that this will be a repeat next year. Cannot thank Steve and crew enough.
Did I mention being slam wore out. Really need to get some sleep/physical recuperation. Carpet day is tomorrow.
Sandperson is packing sleepy dust and might just sneak up on you all.

Enjoyed not being busy.
Left side of my face looks like a stuffed chipmunk and is discolouring...this is the toughest dentist trip ever in my life. When I phoned the office to let them know my Dr came to the phone and asked questions and was concerned and wanted to know if I wanted to come in today for her to check it.NO is all I was able to say and then remembered thank you. I will be hard pressed to go back in three week's time for the real crowns...
Went to yoga my teacher noticed it right away and was very concerned. Modified some of the poses and I still had a good practice.

Hoda, so very sorry about the complications with your dental work. Can totally relate. When I went back after my problems, I demanded another dentist. There are several and I got the owner. He did a good job but that was the last time I went there. LOVE my new dentist!!!
I watched the final in The Voice tonight. Man!!! I wish I could sing! The young girl who won is totally awesome!! Woe is me...I can not carry a tune! Oh, well, I will just enjoy the singing of others.
Jacob did not have a game tonight as they had rain this morning. Jealous!
Golly...can not sing, do not get rain....woe is me!
Time to to head to bed. I also fell asleep in my chair.

In all fairness to the dentist they were the upper left mollars with very little room to remove metal fillings and it was extensive and deep work. They were old and they were beginning to leak and I wanted the metal fillings out of my mouth...

Good Wednesday morning my eagle friends! Watching an MT tree - no movement in the nest area and no eagles on the upper branches. Guess they're all off doing eagle things.
Hoping I get to do one of my favorite people things this morning - playing tennis. Sun is trying to come out and there is a breeze, but I don't know if the courts will dry out by 8am.
Enjoyed the Voice finale last night but wanted Michelle to win - I am not a country music fan.

Shirley, Laurel told me recently that the girls are gaga over Joseph and Joseph hasn't got a clue! LOL She has the advantage of being right there with him at school. Hopefully this will continue. Michael was not interested that much in girls in hs. Instead, he was more interested in his group of friends, boys and girls, and sports. He also worked at the local theatre where his closest friends worked, too. It wasn't until college that he really dated.
My brother on the other hand had 3 boys who always had girl friends and they always took the girls with them on vacations. It is now being repeated with his grandsons, on who brought his girlfriend to a family reunion. Our family jokes about this. And, my brother always has the same comment..."Oh, you will love her, she's a sweetheart". I do think that making good friendships with a group is healthier and do hope my grandboys do not discover girls for a long time. LOL
Maybe the fact that Larry, my brother, married his hs sweetheart has influenced this.
Guess I better do some house cleaning today. Still have dog nose prints on the door as well as little boy hand prints all over it. Kind of like them!

Hoda, I'm so sorry you're so swollen and painful! Did the dentist suggest putting an ice pack on it? Might help with some of the "chipmunk syndrome". Sure hope you feel better VERY soon!

Younger son had a bear - a yearling in the driveway of his neighbor and it had come through his yard. They got a pic
Need to fill y'all in on what's been going on with Emma. This last Saturday, she suddenly threw up all of her breakfast (which was eaten at 6:30 am) at 1:00 pm. She seemed to be acting normally otherwise, so we didn't worry much.
Kept a watchful eye on her, though.
About 1:30 am on Sunday, she threw up some foamy liquid rather suddenly. Still didn't worry too much, because she was pooping normally, peeing normally, and NOT looking bloated. She had a normal appetite, too. Well, Monday morning she ate breakfast, then barfed it up 3 hours later. Okay, done with this scenario--took her to the vet late Monday afternoon.
She had no fever, and checked out OK except for seasonal allergies to something like pollen. They gave her a shot of Prednisone and Prednisone pills, and sent us home.
Didn't start the Prednisone pills that night--wanted to wait until morning. She threw up her dinner early the next morning! Called the vet, and he said to come and pick up a couple of prescriptions--for Pepcid, and for something else that's an ulcer treatment. He also put her on a boiled chicken and rice diet for a while. To make a long story shorter, the new meds are working! (Oh--we've stopped her allergy pill, and never started the Prednisone, per the vet.) She takes her meds like the perfect patient, and LOVES her new diet--you'd think we'd been STARVING her or something!LOL She's actually getting a bit chubby, and needs to lose a couple of pounds, due to lack of exercise. She's been sleeping a LOT because of her allergy medication, which makes her really sleepy. Gosh, I actually got some good sleep last night! She's feeling well this morning, so may take her for a bit of a walk today.
Speaking of Miss Emma, she says, "Woof, woof, rowl, roo roo."
She's sitting there, pawing the air with her right front paw, as she speaks! Guess she wants you to know she's thinking about you!
Well, need to go brush her--she's got a bad case of "bed head". Will be back later to see what's happening at the nest!

I see the beautiful distance shot of our tree and the female fledgling at the top; but has anyone seen the male flying yet? Also, is the nest the dark mass at the bottom center of the picture??
Of course you know BWO hatched a chick, but did you know that one of Finney's three eggs has just hatched?

Sorry about Emma and so glad she is better.
Jim, now really, how can you tell that is the female. lol We have seen both juvies high in the tree top. The nest is directly beelow the eagle in the tree right now. Some times you can see movement in the leaves especially easy to see when it is an adult. The is pretty much even with the lower tree tops on the right.
